To me if one earn 400k monthly in Naija through business or work then that person has no businesses to Japa. people relocate for many reasons, not only because of money. |

Geovanni412: How many bags of rice does one buy in a year?
That is the question to answer
On average, a family of four eating three cups of rice in a day no go finish one bag of rice in six months.
If you know this maths, solution is to buy food in bulk and store once you got the money to do so. so a family of 4 will only eat 3 cups of rice and the remaining days will be to fast? They won't pay NEPA bills, security money, children school fees, transportation, healthcare, accommodation fee et al |

CoronaVirusPro: The future will educate you better. I don’t think anyone can educate you about that.
If you really want to have a glimpse of what it looks like, check all those class of people that same in their youthful ages, reality humbled them in their old age and started having kids at the dying hour.
Reality will “Personally” dawn on you. How you accept it, will determine your mental state and response.
Just be patient. 20 years from now will tell a lot. There are many men and women that had kids but living a life as if they do not have kids, even at old age. Their children are poor, likewise their parents. They literally live from hand to mouth courtsey with the support of well-wishers. Society only address them with the name of their child/ren but there's no positive impact of these children in their lives. This abound in Nigeria today. |

standfit007: This is the issue of the day at Naija today. It is really really sad. Citizens just want opportunities to lead a decent life and contribute to the country wellbeing.
Bro, have you considered learning a skill in your line of study or something completely different that is “sellable” and sustainable (you should think about this too)? Just having a degree doesn’t cut it today o esp if it is not a professional degree that gets good on the table for you immediately after graduation. How about your CV, what does it look like? How many laser targeted job applications do you do per week? Reach out o…,send cold emails and connect with many people as possible offline and online. Don’t be quiet
Come see the real issue here not about “identity and culture” you are “chasing” me around with o @RodgersAkpafu and @Marjoribanks I was learning video editing and graphics design with my phone. I do not have a laptop but i was a victim of robbery. My phone and little money was taken away. I am currently using a botton java phone. I do apply for jobs before my phone was stolen. I have been using a friend's phone recently to apply, Most organization do conduct physical interview which i somewhat find it difficult to meet up with due to high cost of transportation. Only few conduct virtual interview. I understand there's no excuse for failure in life, but it's not easy truly for some of us in Nigeria. |

placeofallure: How old are you? You could be too young to have an awareness of what PDP's corrupt 16 years of misrule was or could be you have a short memory, so short you've forgotten so soon. Nigeria's woes didn't just start. It's a conundrum. It's cumulative! I don't have any misgivings about your rants about Buhari or Tinubu. Be objective when you criticize is all. in summary, Nigeria is a shithole. A country where ordinary food has become luxury. Only the few rich ones can afford 3 square meal daily |

emmydee: I don’t understand the bad belle in some of you guys. Nigeria currently is hell and someone secured a visa and went to the UK. You are condemning his action and saying all manner of negative stuff. I know how my life was before I left Nigeria last year and I know how it is today. The two are incomparable. It is not easy abroad and I knew it before I left but it is a lot better to hustle here than in Naija. Even as I am yet to get my work permit, I still make well over 700k after my expenses here. Do you understand what that means in naija? When you’re there crying over high cost of living, my people there go to market with ease. E no concern them. Egg is 4K, rice is 80k garri is 2k yet dem no dey feel am. Bro abeg, carry your bad belle comot for road. The guy will find a job in the UK. Wish him well. If you know the number of people I have been sending 10k to in naija so far monthly, you will be shocked. May God bless his hustle. Amen 🙏 They're just jealous and full of envy |
