Car Talk / Re: An Ideal Car For A N80k Monthly Salary Earner. Please advice. by vinmol: 10:48am On Sep 12, 2012
my dear my candid advice, do not buy Nigerian used car, rather buy a tokunboh
like the rest a Golf 3 will be fine
i earn almst smae income with you
i work i Ijora and stay in Ogba

i have a golf 3 Auto with A/c and alloy manual windows
with all the traffic in Ikorodu road and western avenue
i fuel my car once a week with 4k and am good to go for the next 6 days

very cheap to maintain, very comfortable and fast, and a get up and go car
no complications, as you earn higher by his grace you will get a bigger car and a new model

for now i dont earn much but i need the comfort or driving out with my family weekends and work weekdays
i have used my golf for over 11 mnths now and am still flexing it....be wise brother Car is all about conveinence and necessity for ur level not a staus thing yet

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Beloxxi Industries Ltd by vinmol: 5:11pm On Aug 24, 2012
Beloxxi produces Cream cracker biscuits and other foods sold all over
the company is quite healthy financially
they are located in Agidigbi close to coca sola company
they pay Industry average, Manufacturing industries really dont pay much.
but its a good start for Mgt Trainees go for it, experience is key

if you live in Ikeja, ogba, agege and its environs, it will be a go start for you as you will pay less t.fare to work

believe me. i am talking from experience, you are better off with a 40k job in a location close to you than an 80k job on the Island when you live on the mainland
traffic, stress and t.fare will take so much from you. not a fact just my opinion.

full tank in my golf with chilling A/c takes me to and from office for one week
i leave in Ogba and work in Ijora even with the traffic on Ikorodu road
monday to friday and i will left with a little below half tank. (one advantage)

guy, mine was not from cotonu shall o!
i have not had good expereince with cotonu cars so i dont go there

i got mine with 2 of my frnds, they got their's cheaper from cotonu and today they dont drive it anymore cos of over heating issues and all sorts. i got mine from Autograph off Agidingbi in Ikeja. it had 54k as OD and almost like brand new with all papers from Tincan
but it was certainly more expensive than the cotonu...but still serving and lookin sharp!

i guess if you get a good car dealer from cotonu who knows cars very well...they will be willingly to assist and you have lots of them here in NL... goodluck
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Mainstreet Bank Sacks Over 650 Staff by vinmol: 5:25pm On Jun 27, 2012
hardbody: I really feel for them. When i chose to quit banking some years ago, quite a number of people asked whether i was going out of my mind, but i knew then that the bubble was going to burst someday. The same thing happened when i walked out of telecoms, some people still wondered whether i did not need a check up at Yaba-left. I trudged on. Today, i am in an industry that is looked down upon but provides a level of employment stability. In days to come, i will gradually wind down and go into my own line of business. Lesson in life? Dont settle down and assume that nothing will go wrong, dont eat with all your five fingers, plan ahead and remain a constant step ahead of the employment market. Dont forget to put God in teh first priority. Once again, i wish the people well and hope they get something doing to keep putting bread on the table and keeping the tummy warm.

i beg u tell me the sector i need to reposition! God bless u

Politics / Re: GEJ Is A Joke & Clueless - Ghanaian Prof. Ayittey by vinmol: 10:47am On Jun 26, 2012
Mekusnwa: Where did they go to pick this character from? There's no end to what theses Gej haters will not do to get at him. Suddenly, they hve gone to generate a Ghanian professor to come and give a disjointed analyses of that interesting Media chat. Who interviewed this professor? Who made him world's foremost economist? I will not be surprised if this man was cloned by SAHARAREPORTERS or Kobojunkie to lend credibility to their falsehood. Let me assume that the man exist and face the issues raised.
1. He acted in ignorance when he said the president didn't declare his assets. The president indeed declared his assets but it was not made public. Even if you doubt it, the assets declaration that he did as Vp under Yaradua still subsists as he has not left office since then. So why the noise over assets declaration?
2. It is an insult on the sensibilities of Nigerians for the so called Ayitteh to label our President as insane and with unsound mind. Who adjudged Jonathan as having unsound mind? Did Ayitteh evaluate a medical report to that effect? How did he arrive at this weighty derogatory statement against a PHD holder? Who is Ayitteh to tell us we voted an insane President? please there must be an end to useless propaganda.
3. The so called Ayitteh questioned why GEJ has not fixed Maidugri airport for his usage. I want to ask, has Ghana even fixed the airport at Accra talkless of the one in hinterland? Is it Not the airport where a cargo aircraft crashed due to water logged runway. Meanwhile, Gej is carrying out massive reconstruction of airports across the country. He is doing in less than one year what many of his predecessors could not do all thru their tenure. Go to Abuja airport, the domestic wing has been closed down for intensive renovation. New car parks are being built. At the international wing, the runways are being built and the entire airport infrastructure is being rebuilt. Similar projects are going on simultaneously in Enugu, Lagos, etc
4. He said GEJ's Agric revolution is only restricted to distribution of palm seedlings. What an affront on truth. Even a toddler in Nigeria has come to know about the cassava revolution and fertilizer distribution reforms scheme.
5. Thankfully, the fake prof accepted the massive construction of rail lines across the country but only faulted the projects on account of what he described as non inclusion of Nigerians in the contract. Who told him? And since when has a Ghanian assumed the role of our local content enforcement officer?
6. He ended up betraying his true identity as an interested party when he said the president needed to consult the university authority and students body before renaming Unilag. What a joke!

MEkunsa! your father is GEJ i have gone thru all your post on nairaland and realised you are here to defend GEJ in public forums like this? how much are u been paid to sell your soul? MAY YOUR GENERATIONS AND THAT OF YOUR CHILDREN BE RULED BY GEJS OFF THIS WORLD! MAY BOKOHARAM BLOW UR GENERATIONS AWAY FOREVER

for the above comment?

I clearly told Seyi Rhodes that the official colour of our church is yellow, just as the official colour of Mountain of Fire is Purple

i want to refute the statment above, as i have watched that video over and over again not believing my eyes and ears
you said Direct report"THE REASON WHY I LIKE YELLOW IS BECAUSE MY MOTHER BOUGHT ME YELLOW SHIRT, PLATE AND SPOON AS A CHILD AND SINCE THEN I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YELLOW"

I dont know whether you are fake or not but i have had a person experience with your memebers...they came to evangelise to me so to speak, after which i was given a pamphlet to fill my name and phone numbers, i did and i started geting threaten txt msgs as below:

"calavary greetings there will be a service to break yokes tommorrow
ensure you are there as the man of God has seen that if u are not there evil will be fall the txt writter not me IJN"

i have deleted them now, i got several of this text horrible text, until i called the number and threathened police and law suite
they left me for a while and resumed again..its not just me, it happened to a friend too. DR SIGN FIREMAN i am not God and therefore cannot not judge, but my little encounter with your memebers has not potrayed your church in a good light.
I meet a guy who said he knows you back in Aba, that you have always preached and acted like an American pastor, your father and parents you are talkign about are not as wealthy as you potray them...kindly give us the names of their companies...for companies who are long established in this Line of trade cannot be hidden..i am sure they are as big as most blue chip companies we have today. i am waiting for you to refute all i hve said here. thank you and God bless

I just checked my credit balance now and discovered that im on MTN family and friends. Ive been on PAYGO packages since Febuary and i have been enjoying its freebies like 1 Minute BONUS on every 3 Minutes spent on received call. I recieve alots of calls from my client and the Bonus is really profitable to my business. Now, The Good BONUS is Gone. Is there any one in the house with the same experience?
Also, if i may ask, did MTN have any right to migrate me from PAYGO to FAMILY & FRIENDS EXPANDED PACKAGE....
Please, Lets us know if you are facing the same problem..Probably, seun can help put this in the front page so that MTN will hear our cries.

Autos / Re: Make Sure You Inspect Vehicles Before You Buy Them by vinmol: 10:39am On May 17, 2012
see no evil hear no evil..... i wanted a small car a Nissan Micra or a golf
i saw a green golf4 advertised in another blogg not NL and looking very clean..i decided to buy
so i went for inspection, thank God i went mysef, the seller was very motivated, telling me how perfect and neat the car is and its tincan cleared tokuboh
i got carried away and dreaming of my Golf 4 car with cream interiors,i took out time from my tight schedule to inspect somewhere on Adeniyi Jones in Ikeja
wat i saw i will never forget...

i saw a filthy 3 different shades of green obvious accidented and parts replaced. i asked the guy to start the car, it couldnt until they changed the battery
infact...i was so disgusted the sound from the golf was worst than locomotive train.....when i inspected the interiors, that was another disgust...they obvious has driven the living day light out the car here in Nigeria, without trying to clean it up..all the red sands and tell tale signs every where...i was truly angry and walked away, even when he was trying to call me back for us to talk, i was not interested.... the whole idea is please buyers do not buy cars based on picture value..ensure you go there and see for yoursef, do not even send a driver and mechanic...cos those will convince you to buy cos the seller has promised them their own cut...in all these I WISH ALL HAPPY SALES AND HAPPY BUY
