....yet he was borrowing to pay salaries despite selling crude oil at $100 a barrel!
Truth be told, he borrowed to pay salaries because NOI had already warned that if subsidy is not taken away, the country will borrow to pay salaries, but you and your lots gathered at Ojota to protest subsidy removal with the likes of Tinubu, hell'rufia, bakare etc.
Today, we are still paying subsidy and it has rising from about 230bn during GEN to 1.4trn per year according to Min.of state for petroleum, from 87 per litter to 145.
No be to give monkey water be the issue but na to collect cup back be the koko. Buhari will so deal with us to the extent that even you his support will sort for a self contained apartment in Mozabique or Guinea Bissau. To have developed to the point of supporting you assertions here on NL, you can effectively run a local govt. Area so why are you, in this age and time, still clamouring for a grandpa cattle rearer to be ruling over you?

hello house, after our denied application last year, we decided not to re-apply as changing data within a short period of time might raise red flag. DW gave birth to a bouncing baby boy in Abuja... mother and child in good health. Baby weigh 3.92kg at birth. we all hope to apply for tourist visa when the baby is 6mnths. thanks for everyone that contributed.
Congrats sir, May this LO always bring happiness to the family

That response was for me when I had the same issue. I made use of the first option which is the safest and it worked for me without much delay at the embassy. Ask for his grace cos it was a very tough decision for my hubby and I to make. God's grace

Your expiring visa was medical...abi?....you didn't overstay...and you paid all bills.....i wonder what the issue is.

I may be clutching at straws here but....... was looking at your transcript from 2016 and when VO asked how much it would cost you said $15k....maybe this was your total budget for medical plus accommodation plus travel etc....... but perhaps VO noted that as medical cost only.....and maybe all the VOs are comparing the $7.5k paid to this $15k that was noted. I don't know if that makes any sense....just trying to understand what could be wrong.

Will you try again? Or try Canada....the online application.....not paper through VFS...you only submit your passport when visa is approved.....mine was out in 3 weeks but it was just a tourist visa.....not medical

Pls can someone use tourist visa to give birth in canada and again is there any special way of applying canadaian visa becos my hubby and i have bn denied once although we didnt do online application.

Hi house,

This is Viola once again, just like i earlier stated, i got B1B2 visa in sept 2017 later took in oct.2017. I brought the issue here, though DH also was seeking answers both on and offline. He came back one day and we both decided to try again by redeclaring our intent. We paid and booked for interview for today.
Below is the transcript:

VO: good morning and how are you today

Me: morning, fine thank you.

VO: what are you here for, then opened my passport and
saw that i already have 1yr8months valid visa.
Me: i became pregnant after i was issued the visa so i'm
here to redeclare my intent. I now want to have my
baby in the US.
VO: wait a minute, then went inside with my passport
For about 3mins. Then came back, "show me proof
Of how you will fund the trip"
Me: handed over doctors correspondence(which she didn't check), account statement(gtb $ acc, Fidelity naira
acc and DH's office cooperative acc).
VO: stated calmy; you dont have enough money for this
trip, based on what is stated here.
Me: i then looked and saw that she was refering to 1st
amount in the front page of DH's fidelity bank
statement. Ma'am please get to the last page you'll
see the closing balance of over xxxx plus another $xxxx in
GTB dom acc.
VO: okay great, stop being nervous, just calm down.
Me: thanks ma'am with a pleasant smile.
VO: where in the US are you going?
Me: California
VO: how did you get to know of the hospital
Me: from my aunt and other online reviews
VO: where does ur hubby work, howmuch does he earn
and how much do you earn
Me: i told her and wanted to bring out DHs payslip but
she asked me not to.
VO: there are 2 ways to this, i can allow u go with the
valid visa because u came back to redeclare ur intent
which I have updated in your profile or I can cancel
it and issue you another one, so chose.
Me: cancel without prejudice and issue me another visa
VO: okay, now listening carefully, pay all your bill and
stay clear of medicaid. Donot claim to be a
Californian, always let them know you are from nig.
Congrats xxxxxxxxxx
Me: thank you.

Thanks house for all the suggestions and please ignore any typo noticed cos I DON TIRE, LO IS KICKING BADLY INSIDE ME THIS HOT AFTERNOON.

TravelRe: U.S. Non-immigrant Visas: We’re Listening by Viola2017: 5:39pm On Jan 09, 2018
Thanks for the reply, this is not an easy decision but doing the right thing is paramount.

quote author=LagosNIV post=62990122]Hello Viola2017 -

Our recommendation is to do as your husband is inclined. The only way to ensure that your intent to have a baby in the US is documented in your file is to appear at an interview and declare that intent. Your current visa is valid, and as you say, childbirth in the US is legal, even on a B1B2 visa. However, the ultimate decision of whether or not a foreigner is allowed in to the US is not made at our embassies or consulates. That decision is made by CBP at the Port of Entry. They do sometimes allow people to enter the US for childbirth in your circumstances, where the pregnancy arose after the visa interview. They also sometimes refuse those people entry, and then a heavily pregnant mother is forced to re-board a plane for another 12 hour flight back across the Atlantic. You have a much lower chance of being refused entry like that if you file a new application and declare your intent.

Thanks for your quick response. But as it is now, i have already sent a mail on change of intent although i wasnt replied aside from the automated response that came up. if i decide to travel now to come back in a weeks time do you think the embassy will contact POE base on the fact i have written to them and then cause another issue for me.
