Daniel058: Most Churches motivate then extort, And make you start thinking that God does not exist .
If your man/woman of God tell you what he's passing through, you will know that your own problem is a Child's play.
Let nobody manipulate you into giving all you have to organizations that are already doing well financially. It's better to help the poor Nd less privileged than giving all to the person that's richer than you already.
Most Preachers re the reason why people are leaving churches today and many of the people leaving churches no longer believe that God really exists
I thank God for the man like DR ABLE DAMINA.
Pay tithe because u love God not because you are afraid that things will be tithe for you if you didn't pay. No serious church and I repeat no serious church forces anyone to give. In most cases the church spends more on the poor than the poor gives. I'm a part time pastor in on of the large Pentecostal churches. I have a profession. I don't earn any income from the church. I announce it openly that no one should fail to come and serve God because he has no transport fare. The church will give you transport fare if you don't have. Many have been lent money but they dishonestly failed to pay back.Tithing is voluntary and not compulsory. By the grace of God no member of the church out gives I and my family even though it's not my personal church. There are committed willing givers. Forget all the noise on social media by Abel Damina and his cohorts blackmailing churches. It's all about trying to trend with what the street people want to hear. If you understand and trust the principles of giving especially for divine course, you will not have difficulty in giving. |

The same people telling the masses no money are the ones buying jets, yatches, cars and spending the commonwealth recklessly.
Before removing subsidies, tackle the rot in the system. Taxing the masses who are already overburdened with surviving is a lazy ruler's way out of the problem. I agree with you on the reckless lifestyle of our leaders. But when you have crisis that demands urgency you will start from low fruits and the low fruits are what they are doing now. I think that we should support them but organize ourselves and demand good governance devoid of politics. |

ivandragon: Hmm...
These guys do not understand what masses oriented reform means.
Masses oriented reforms are aimed to reduce socio-economic burdens on the people and improve thier purchasing power, reduce cost of living and make living standards better.
Such reforms include reduction in PIT, increased access to health services, improved education standards, support for agricultural activities, reduced interest rates for both businesses and individuals, gradual phasing out of a product or service when a new one is to be introduced etc. . All these that you listed are good but they require heavy funding. Where will the funds come from when you use 97% of your revenue to service debts? You could not pay salaries and other recurrent expenditure except you use way and means. You spend all your income to pay subsidies: petroleum products, forex, electricity. You have very low tax/GDP ratio. You only export raw materials and import finished goods which are more expensive. |

If you don't want importation, reduce your pms price and see how importation will die naturally. No Sir. The man did no wrong in the cement industry. Did he stop other producers from selling low? Did he stop other people from setting up cemetery factories? Let others build their refinery. Let the state refineries work. Importation denies us industrialization and imports unemployment. The importers make quick money and use the opportunity to divert our scarce forex. All these importers why have they not formed a cartel and build refineries all these years? Travel › Re: Economic Hardship: Foreign Travel Drops By 60% In Lagos, Abuja Airports by Vision101(m): 1:15am On Nov 05, 2024 |
Nigerians are required to drop our old fake lifestyle. Most of us lived false life. We lived like a rich nation because of subsidy from petrodollar. The petrodollar to continue to subsidize has stopped and our true level has been exposed.
Buhari tried to continue the fake lifestyle by borrowing to subsidize but it took us deeper. You can imagine when a nation uses 97% of their income to service debt. It's equivalent to a man that earns #100 but uses #97 to pay debt. In order to cover up his poverty he has to go borrow again. Outwardly his friend will think that he is living a good life but inwardly he's dead. If he continues he will end up bankrupt.
The day the man decides to adjust his lifestyle so that he uses #3 to live a life that is sustained by #100 you can imagine what will be the pain.
Experts in this nation know this. Politicians in their privacy know this.
We were heading to total bankruptcy to the extent that states were owing several months salaries. The federal government had to lend them money through freely printed naira by way and means for them to pay some months salaries. They couldn't execute projects.
Now we are not hearing about salaries being owed. Opposition governors can execute projects.
I'm not an apologist of this government but this is the unbiased truth that a professional can say. |

Understanding financial management will make you sustain wealth for years. It will guide you to build wealth securely, not just invest aimlessly.
Extravagant spendings and living a lavish life is the reason why most of them return to trenches
Karma doesnt exist, and life doesnt know the diff between legal and illegal wealth, so there's nothing like "suffering the consequences of their actions" in this case
Say No to Yahoo but, Financial Management is key. I disagree. When you make money legally there's a process of pain that you go through in making the money. The pain trains you. You will constantly remember that it didn't come easy and if you mismanage it will not come back easily. Easy money will not allow you to reason. It generates a sudden pressure. You can imagine a person that has never handled #1m of his own and suddenly there comes a windfall of #100m. Money has spirit. All people that are used to easy, illegal and quick money e.g politicians, gboys, people in drug, etc. are stuck in them. They hardly can successfully manage ventures that bring regular streams of income. |

This will lead to exploitation, manipulation, and harm to congregations, ultimately undermining the integrity of the faith. So even the churches that do not "proliferate" e.g. Catholics have never had cases like this? Imbalanced reasoning. |
