lexy2014:Savings in less than two months? Haba Nigerians. |
McAausim:I live in Lagos but I work in Aba. My laundry needs now is majorly in Aba. |
Nwaikpe:The western nations are not too desirous of CNG because they do not have so much natural gas. We have more than enough natural. We need the transition. |
Tochi3:You are funny 🤣. Anybody that makes rational presentation is a BATist. What I said has happened time and time again. Check from OBJ till date. Has it been happening? What is Mike Ozakome's noise. For rational minded people it doesn't really matter. What matters are results. |
The law says one minister per state. After satisfying this the president is free to appoint any number from any state. Some people made their name through criticism. This prof is one of them. This is the only thing that we know about him. |
ivandragon:Have you ever heard that LPG is snuggled? |
Leonardo4:Reason for reduction: 1 People are being sensible in the management of their finances. 2 No more 24 hours generator when public electricity is off. 3 No more one car for me, one for my wife another for my children's school runs. 4 Elimination of pool car in organisations. 5 No more a/c house, a/c cars and a/c office. 6 People drive around only when necessary. 7 Car owners sometimes now use public transportation. They do this overseas also. 8 Elimination of cars with high fuel consumption. 9 Mechanics no dey use fuel ⛽ wash hand again. 10 People are switching to alternative energy sources. 11 The days of a young man with multiple cars are gone. |
ivandragon:CNG is not like fuel. You can't store it in Jerry can. |
santopelele:Who told you so. So nobody that stayed back ever succeeded and everyone that left to her Brit is successful. That lady thinks that running down the land of her birth will give her acceptance. In the UK no matter what you do if you are a black you are a black. What is the linkage between her adopted country's politics and Nigeria. |
Creamypie:OBJ was not actually too recognized. He became military head of state by chance. He was really afraid and that's why he didn't fail to hand over as promised. Abacha jailed him when he tried to run his mouth. No body including the west fought for his release. The prime people that gave Abacha big fight both in and outside the country were NADECO and Tinubu was a front line fighter. Upon the death of MKO in prison it was obvious to the north that if Nigeria must remain one then the president must come from the west. All major political parties made sure that their presidential candidates came from the west. The two major ones from the west where Olu Falaye and OBJ. In terms of quality on all rounds everyone knew that Olu Falaye was far ahead of OBJ. Olu Falaye was considered by the north as awoist, hardliner and unbendable. And to OBJ they were looking at him with his disposition during his military regime. To the north the better of the two devils i.e. dancing to their will was OBJ. So they backed him to win. Even when he wasn't a founding member of PDP and Alex Ekwueme offered more appeal during the primary. But the very best of that time was Olu Falaye of a different party. So OBJ though fair but not as super as thinks he is. He has always benefited from unexpected painful circumstance of others viz: Became military ruler because of assassination of Murtala Mohammed. Became president because of the circumstance that Abiola died. |
Jessyjeff:Yes OBJ saved and obtained debt forgiveness but there was no infrastructure. Total decay of infrastructure under him. What is the sense in saving without investment in infrastructure that will develop your economy. His privatisation was a mess under atiku. Billions of dollars were invested in power without results. That's the genesis of our energy problem of today. He didn't make efforts to either bring the refineries back to life or encourage private sector investment. Then the worst was the regimes that took over from him. Jonathan squandered everything. OBJ was so upset 😭 against Jonathan that he had to openly support buhari. Then buhari..... another story. Many had confidence in him including myself. We trusted him to be frugal and have the ability to tame corruption but he disappointed. The problem of OBJ is that he thinks too highly of himself. He believes that he is the best leader that Nigeria will ever have. |
Omoawoke:Don't mind the op. He must be one of agents of those fake schools. |
MEEVEET: ![]() |
MEEVEET:I lack basic understanding of economics.....yes sir . I will answer only one. You are using forecast GDP and not actual. A forecast is an estimate, more like a budget. The absolute figure is actual.Let me answer another one. Low income to GDP ratio is good fiscal policy ![]() Heavy financing of budget with ways and means is good fiscal policy ![]() |
MEEVEET:Your GDP figures are incorrect. Your former exchange rate was artificial. Anyone could do that. It was subsidized by heavy inflow of petrodollar. It didn't reflect the truth about your economy. Four factors affected the rate of inflation: Poor food production due to insecurity in the North. Low earnings from crude oil due to low production Removal of fake lifestyle aka subsidy Bad monetary and fiscal policies of the past. Global economic distortions. |
mohbadliveson:Which people? |
MEEVEET:What is your empirical evidence? |
EmperorCaesar:He used world class consulting outfit too, KPMG to assist in the assessment. Accountant will always be accountant even in politics. |
Very upright and right thinking man. Introduced innovation. Risked his life for truth. When the election was annulled he kept quiet because any statement from him would have burnt the nation. Refused to take any further government appointments. |
anonimi:When there's logical, sound reasoning and economic discussion please stay away. Jajaja talk irritates sometimes. |
Basicend:Very thoughtful. |
Hahaha.... this children eeh. How can Bible that I preach back up what it condemned.....oath of fornication? To the Bible that oath didn't exist abi initio. It's void, nugatory and of no effect. There's a soul tie and sin consciousness issue. Apparently your ex died an unbeliever. Therefore hence her soul-spirit is not in paradise nor hell it has transmuted to demon. Demons must live in a body and in most cases someone that they knew. Simple solution is: go and submẞit to Jesus Christ. Abstain from fornication till marriage. Approach your pastor to lay hand on you and pray. Make a good effort to have a constant indwelling of the holy Spirit. God bless you. |
cobilak9:People in Nigeria like you are finished too. |
FashionCookie:People don't understand that economic problems are everywhere since COVID and now the Russian Ukrainian war though the ones in the developing world are more. |
Sammy101111:Na only church be your uwahala? The way commercial vehicles and even private cars 📯 horn nko? |
Wow. You see. Poverty dey everywhere. Only 10,000 Canadian dollars and she was ready to commit crime. |
SEGLIZ:She pleaded guilty. |
VULCAN:Hahaha ![]() It's not everyone that says anything contrary to what you want that is an APC urc..in. Some of us are just professionals and not tribalists or politicians. Yes some of us believe in this government because beyond politics we know what the problems are and technically we know that they are taking the right decisions though painful. It would interest you to know that some of us worked with or under some of the key figures in this government. So we have first hand knowledge of their capabilities outside politics. Have you not noticed that some knowledgeable persons that were in opposition during the election and even helped to package some front line opposition figures have not been publicly criticizing this government's economic policies. They know the truth and the key figures in this government are their professional friends. |
Fairview1:It could turn out to be. Past presidents hardly reshuffle cabinet within first one year in office. He touches areas that past leaders wouldn't. Taking hard decisions. Look at his focus on gas. Student loan. Consumer credit. Regional development. Charge to nnpc to romp up crude production. Subsidy removal on PMS and fx. Even his haters agree behind the scene that he's very courageous. Past presidents will not touch all these because it could cost them re-election. |
Kukutente23:You have too much time. Maybe less busy. |
This people eeh |
Franktom247:The statutory allocation to each is different but the management is under one umbrella 🏖️. Each commission will have their leadership. |
