You have some good points that you have made concerning obasanjo. But reducing debt is not a big credit. He did this while sacrificing provision of infrastructure. There was zero infrastructure provision during his and Jonathan's time and it affected service provision post their regime.

Borrowing can be reduced or eliminated by balancing your budget. If you have a revenue constraint the option will be to reduce your expenditure. Hence Nigerian governments find it difficult to reduce recurrent expenditure then the option will be to cut down on capital expenditure. This will affect our capital formation.

If you look at this budget proposal the top three are defence and security, health and education. This is commendable. I honestly agree that there are a lot of waste and corruption.

My elder brother started importation on groupage ( i.e 2,3,5 or more people contributing to buy a 20 feets or 40 feets container but today he buys a full 20feets or 40 feets container alone). If you know the number of people from Aba going to China and other parts of the world for business purposes on weekly basis, you will be surprise.

I have use Sam Mbakwe (Imo airport) many times and you will be surprise at the number of people going to Abia via the airport. Abia airport can't be idle or a "white elephant project" as you opined. The same was said of Anambra airport because of the closeness of Asaba airport but today, Anambra airport is doing well, thank you.

NB: please don't be deceived by what Abia state give to the center on monthly basis(IGR), Abia don't give upto 50% of the taxes she collect.

How many bank branches are in Aba? From osisioma to Asa you have barely three branches of access bank for example. How many of them travel to Lagos through regular morning buses because it's more expensive? They wait for cheap night buses and pay for attachment.
