takin35: Please I finished from technical school and I studied mechanical engineering and I have worked as an operator in Nigerian Breweries plc in the Packaging department section for 5 years pls if I have visa to USA can it be possible for me to see a better job that will give me good money?
That's the wisest question to ask. Nigerian Breweries pay a lot. If I am you, I would be hesitant to leave that plum job for the unknown.
Get your employment letter first before anything.

Both sides of the story are important. It could work well for some but not every one. If travelling is meant for you, go ahead.
I know a friend who was struggling in Naija, he travelled to the US after taking a professional exam. He's doing well. This is a guy who did not graduate.
On the other side, I know of a friend who once worked for a multinational company. He was doing very well in his career. His company transferred him to USA for some years. Over there, he saw many Nigerians suffering. The most pathetic one was about a Nigerian couple who won the visa lottery.
The husband had a good job in Nigeria but abandoned every thing for the States. He couldn't get a job to support his wife and children. It affected his marriage. He wife started doing aristo runs. There was nothing he could because if he dared touched his wife, he could be arrested. To cut the long story short, his son played American football and sustained a serious injury. He couldn't afford hospital bills because of insurance. His died afterwards.
Those are 2 scenarios from different perspective. But if you can go to US to STUDY, by all means GO.

kshowhanif: Theirs a big problem with the family morality, when yarima said women should be married out imediately after attaining puberty, una say na rape's him be. If u see a muslim lady covering all part of her body, una go say she is not wise. If we say to huge a lady is prohibited, una go say we are extremised. Now make una tell me where the sense dey for westernization? Man marry man, woman marry woman, papa f**k pikin, son f**k mother (motherf**k), broda frnd sister etc. Test before marriage, if nah ur sister u go gree? Lets be realistic, islam is the continuation from where jesus stop. If you want to know about true islam, read the history of the nobel prophet muhammad (saw).
So because a man is attracted to his daughter now justifies child marriage ? Ur joking !! Pls don't bring religion into this.

modele2: I dont understand why people fail to apply simple details of modesty and separation. Why should she be sleeping in her dads room at that age? Why should he even come into her room anyhow? Why should she be scantly dressed in the house? After inviting the devil we start shouting.

When i was unmarried my father NEVER once came into my room, he calls me from far. Those are little details of modesty and respect for the other person. At an age i would not even allow my husband bathe my daughter, infact the guy would not even agree sef......Please she should use common sence and apply modesty with her dealings with her father. No more night gists, no more entering of room e.t.c. Next time she should give him a dirty slap when he becomes fisky.
I don't see anything wrong with the girl's action. It is not usual for her father to be attracted to her in the first place. Or can U say that a son would feel like sleeping with his mother ?

blackpanda: SIMPLe: We as Africans dont marry for love
A man that loves his wife will never cheat on her. And if it eventually happens, it will be very rare and with lots of regrets

African men marry society. Its all about arrangements btw the families, faking happiness and baby production

grin grin grin grin
A man who loves his wife can she cheat on her. Most men who cheat, when it comes to their wives, they want to satisfy them.
Or are U saying that once a man gets married, he looses attraction for the opposite sex ?

Zikdik: Y'all self-righteous peeps,eh? Some teenage bosoms na killer (esp. the big, tender, fresh, firm and juicy-looking ones). Wetin I dey talk sef? Let's get serious.
Puberty comes with self-consciousness. Most teenage girls can't bear to look at their n.udity (as they have been taught from childhood that doing so is dirty), talkless of allowing others do so. What kind of a teenage girls bares her bosoms without a "bra" in the presence of a grown up male(forget the dad factor) ?
Also, wetin she find go the man room? "slept off in her dad's room" (my guess, probably nude) sounds very dodgy to me. Abi,na one room apartment dem they stay? Was she drugged or something? What was she doing there that made her fall asleep and prevented her from making her way to her room?
Ok.Advice.
1) Your dada is human. If you are endowed, save that for the guys out there. You don't have to rub it in on the poor, old man.

2) Look for an elderly member of your dad's family that is RELATIVELY sensible and you can RELATIVELY trust. Don't tell your mum for now. You might wreck a union that has lasted two decades(maybe more).

As an afterthought,

3) Come to me ~winks~. Let's examine those features that would incite incest in a man for his own daughter.
See ur advise ?? So her father is human abi ? If ur sister sleeps on ur bed will U feel something similar ?
Don't give dat kind of advice Oh.

Family › Re: Why Are Married Men Never Contented With Their Wives? by vislabraye(m): 12:05pm On Oct 14, 2013
Men are born hunters with killer instincts. But its possible for a man to love his wife dearly and still want to sleep with another woman. And a lot of the times, woman don't help matters.
Some single women would flirt with men they know that are married. I'm very sure that some women/girls in this forum are guilty of this offence.

It takes a lot of discipline to stick to one partner till death.

Even at the gym, instructors walk him out in fear of a murder case. As for beer, slim-lepa is a mobile brewery. Pls help my friend.

Even the other day some boys were fighting and we were watching, all of a sudden one of the boys attempted using my guy as a weapon. Can u imagine.

He has never gotten a girlfriend b4 in his life because of rejection, to the extend he considered being gay but yet he was rejected

One day we went to visit a friend who had an accident in a hospital, immediately me n slim-lepa entered the hospital, they rushed to give him a wheelchair and was rushing him to Emergency ward. Hmmm no be small argument that day oo that eventually led to a free blood test.

I am even shading tears thinking of him, because he has been indoor 4 2weeks smoking his usual weed and drinking spirit.

Don't know if it is right to post his picture. Let me think.
They even ruShed him to the emergency ward ? grin. Its so funny. Are U joking ? If his case is dat bad, encouage him to consume a lot of protein with high calorie.
Let him hit the gym. I guess with patience and hardwork and of course divine intervention cheesy , he can overcome.

gbanikiti: Whoever is blaming the pilot is not in his right senses. The same silly mistake happened in the Dana crash. The Dana plane was to embark on its 5th trip and the pilot complained about the plane. The NCAA authorities headed by Harold Damuren approved the plane to embark on the suicidal journey knowing well the plane had developed engine problems. What then happened?

No sane pilot will fly a faulty plane. NEVER!!
After listening to the flight record, we should exonorate the pilot ? But why were the pilots arguing amongst themselves ? Its obvious that things were not right. You don't know better than the professionals. Its just the mindset of "we fit manage am". That's the same negligence vehicle owners commit.
If you read the AIB report carefully, you would have noted that this aircraft could take off without the flaps. If the pilot made a decision to ignore the warning regarding the flaps, he must have taken the necessary steps to bypass the flap supported take off protocol. I am more inclined to believing that the aircraft was simply not air worthy - signaling another failure of Madam ministress and her ministry.
How is she to be blamed for goodness sake. The evidence just showed that the captain was @ fault. The fact that the pilots argued amongst themselves shwed that there was a problem.

What this ASUU lecturer is trying to say is dat collateral damage is inevitable. I just feel sorry for the graduating students.
But in some universities abroad, they don't rely on govt funding. Private organizations and individuals can also help. We have Shell, Chevron, Mobil and the likes. The lecturers also need to be sincere too. You can't just heap the whole blame of the govt.
