Am glad the JTF is getting them. The foolish BH should have settled in for negotiation. May JTF continue to bomb their cells and deal with their political sponsors.

Its a shame. But I want to believe that the lady is young in FAith. Most ladies are usually vulnerable because they're easily awed by the aura of a man.
But the deed has been done. There's nothing criminal about it except for moral issues. They're both consenting adults who committed adultery as well as fornication.

Will LASU also join the strike ? If so, then they're greedy. After all the amt they collect as fees, they have no right to strike.

Christianity Etc › Re: Shame On Pastors Who Live In Opulence While Church Members Are Broke!! by vislabraye(m): 5:28pm On Aug 21, 2013
This is an issue that has other sides to it.

Firstly, there are some pastors who have left their lucrative careers for the sake of the gospel. Its not as if they chose to become pastors. In this case, it will be difficult for you to say money is his motivation. In that case, shouldn't they marry ? Shouldn't their children go to school ? If you as a man desires to live a comfortable life, what about pastors? Are they not human ?

But on the other hand, there are some excesses which are so obvious. I consider this as an abuse. I've witnessed pastors demanding money from their members with a tone of arrogance. I've been to a church where the pastor asked members to sow a seed of 12,000 naira for divine insurance. His argument was that if someone gets sick, he would spend more than that amount. The bad part of it was that there were a lot of poor people in his church.

I've also been to another gathering where the guest minister preached a very inspiring sermon. It had to do with your position. He used a chair as a symbol.
He sed that as many dat want to go to the next level should come to seat to these chairs.(About 50 chairs were on the stage ). He sed the only condition would be for members to sow a seed of 29,000 naira and above. ThE chairs were not full, but he prayed for those who gave and later reduced the fee to 10,000.

Politics › Another US Soldier Involved In Leaking Classified Information. by vislabraye(op): 4:07pm On Aug 21, 2013
Bradley Manning showed little emotion as he was sentenced, but supporters shouted words of thanks
The US soldier convicted of handing a trove of secret government documents to anti-secrecy website Wikileaks has been sentenced to 35 years in prison.

Pte First Class Bradley Manning, 25, was convicted in July of 20 charges against him, including espionage.

Last week, he apologised for hurting the US and for "the unexpected results" of his actions.

Prosecutors had asked for a 60-year sentence. He will receive credit for time he has already served in jail.

In addition, he will be given 112 days' credit in recompense for the harsh conditions of his confinement immediately after his arrest.

In the military courtroom in Fort Meade, Maryland, on Tuesday, Judge Col Denise Lind declared Pte Manning would be dishonourably discharged from the US Army and forfeit some of his pay.

Pte Manning showed no emotion as the sentence was delivered.

As he was led away, his supporters shouted: "We'll wait for you, Bradley", and "Thank you, Bradley, we love you", the BBC's Tom Geoghegan reports.

While stationed in Iraq in 2010, the junior intelligence analyst passed hundreds of thousands of battlefield reports and diplomatic cables to Wikileaks, the pro-transparency group headed by Julian Assange.

Pte Manning said in a pre-trial hearing he leaked the secret files in the hopes of sparking a public debate about US foreign policy and the military.

Afam4eva: Did you stay in one of those houses in the neighborhood where you took those pictures? If this thread is about exposing the ineptitude of Theoodore Orji then i'm in support but the thread title has to be in consonance with that. You can't tell me that those pictures represents your trip to Abia state?
That's what she said. The thread is about bad governance. I know its not all Igbo town that's like this. For instance, Enugu is far better than this.
Just try to see what the poster has in mind.

So saD that almost every tribe and ethnic region in Nigeria has been stereotyped. When it comes to prostitution, we know the tribe to mention. If its credit card fraud, its another tribe. What of armed robbery and drugs ? We know them.
But all in all, we are Nigerians. If we were Biafrans, it would have been worse.
