There are exceptions to the rules. A man could be rich and successful and still be foolish. While a man could be poor and be smart. But can we say dat there are no poor people dat are smart?

Smartness is actually subjective.

Sports › Re: Sunday Oliseh Replies Stephen Keshi! - by vislabraye(m): 9:10am On Jul 10, 2013
Keshi is taking it a bit personal. I listened to Oliseh's commentary during the confed and afcon cup. During afcon cup when Nigeria struggled during the group stage, Oliseh still believed in the team.
But during d confed, I expected Keshi to have consolidated on his success. I felt he should have brought in a few experienced professionals to boost thE teAm. What happened to the likes of Anichebe? Or Martins of the Uche brothers?
I believed the selection could have been better. But that's not 2 say day Keshi is not a fantastic coach.
Sports › Re: Keshi To Oliseh: You Were Nobody When You Started by vislabraye(m): 1:11pm On Jul 09, 2013
I think Keshi is right. Everybody is a nobody when they have to start out..
If u were somebody, u wouldn't even hav to start out at all!
Home based footballers have the zeal to play better at international competitions so they can make their mark, unlike already made established Europe base starts who already has it all, but Keshi should also know that international exposure and experience is needed from the players abroad that doesn't see themselves as too big for the Clarion call of their father land..
Lastly, Keshi should know that Criticism in not for Condemnation but for construction..
Home based players and Professional footballers should find a meeting point.
In The Brazillian team that won the Confederation's cup,
Neymar was homebased
Marcelo plays for Real Madrid, hence not home based,
Dani Alves plays away at Barcelona,
It won't do Nigeria any wrong if Home-based players are inter-mixed with the humble and good players that are eligible and willing to play for the Eagles.

That super Eagles team at d moment is very good, I just can't point out what is missing in the team..
Sports › Re: Keshi To Oliseh: You Were Nobody When You Started by vislabraye(m): 12:09pm On Jul 09, 2013
Keshi shudn' take it personal. This same Oliseh supported SEs to win AFCONs when no one blivd in Keshi.
What Oliseh was trying to say was dat the boys didn't have d exposure to win the tournament. Not dat dey were not talented enuf.

@chucvoice. Av hed evrything u said. Its actually thought provoking. I've worshipped in DL from childhood. My parents led me dere. In fact it was the 1st pentecostal(depending on d definition) V attended since leaving catholism.
One of the rules of d chirch was that women shud wear long sleave shirt and tie their head with headgear. Women were to wear very long gowns almost reaching the ground. Some people also took it to the extreme by saying don't wear bright coloured clothes or any ardornment dat would make one pretty.
Toothpaste and nice body cream was also kicked against. My mother suffered persecution because she couldn't keep all to dia statutes. She stopped wearing earings and jewelry but dey still fpund fault in her.
Television was banned. Some senior Dlifers hid dia TVs wheneever it was time for fellowship. I have mistakely found a TV set in d wardrobe of a Deeper Lifer.
There were so many extremes and I wondered where the doctrine came out from. In fact a man was could not meet face 2 face with the woman he wants to marry for instance. He had to go thru his House Fellowship leader, who in turns meets anoda head and so on.
But I used to ask mysef, does Pst. Kumuyi know about all these?
In fact, he came out on air to deny the TV issue.
I thinks dats 1 reason RCCG has 2 types of parishes.

They did nothin wrong agreed. When U make rules, you have to abide by them. That's the laws dia fathers made, so de children shud abide by dem.
I was brot up in Deeper Life and they usE to have 3 House Fellowships in our house. I saw a lot of things.

Ikoyi has so many big trees. Some are 50 years and over. Trees don't normally fall like that.
IN LCC, there are trees that are very old and they're still standing today. Any way, trees are very good to have. That's what makes Ikoyi beautiful.

People shud be serious. You're sleeping and waking up is not de testimony we want to hear.

I can remember vividly on 9th December 1998. I was taking a walk around Sanusi Fafunwa in the evening. I noticed that a man crossed to my side of the road from the other side. I didn't see as a big deal until he touched me and spoke a word.
Immediately, without even think abt it, I started speaking in tongues. It was an involuntary action. The man was shocked. He walked fast away from the scene.
In fact if I had pursued him and called the attention of the crowd, they would have lynched him.
I have anoda similar experience of the supernatural.

Keshi is a good coach. Its just unfortunate de team crashed out the way they did. If our 1st team players were fit, it would have been a different story.
He made some +ve decisions. But what I felt he should have done was to invite a few more experienced players.
Our strikers were meeting world class teams for de 1st time. Some of dem won't have de capacity to contain such players.
Kudos to Keshi.

Deblow: Most pple who post comments here don't probably watch the wildlife channels on dstv. Phytons are powerful constrictors that fear no animal in the jungle. It is an awesome beast! I once watched a clip where a python actually killed and swallowed a big leopard. In another clip, it was the timely intervention of the other members of a lion pride that saved a lion that strayed out of the pride. The python had floored the lion and was trying to coil round him when he raised an "sos" alarm that attracted other members who came to his rescue and freed d lion. The python still escaped!
I would love to watch dat video clip. May be the lion was young. But I think dat cud have been an anaconda.
Nairaland General › Re: Snake Swallowed A Goat In Abuja by vislabraye(m): 1:55am On Jun 29, 2013
moshoodn: Goats are domestic animals which mostly stay close to residential areas to eat grasses or waste foods...

Snakes (of that size) live a distance from human habitation.

So.....

The snake leaves its place to come out to hunt a goat or the goat goes close to the snake's habitation; either way, it must still be around a human habitation...

To suffocate and swallow a goat, a snake would need an hour or more to do just that.

Bottom line: A big snake swallows a big goat around human habitation for over an hour and no one knew?

My Opinion: maybe the snake swallowed another bigger bush animal and in its discomfort, strayed into town.

No one knows specifically what's inside the snake stomach until either a dissection is done or the snale is poked till it vomits...
Mr. Analyst. There's nothing stopping it from being a goat. Goats are usually preys to many animals and I m not srprise if its a goat.
