Clearly this one does, so...
Early management of Autism produces great result, don't you see the family is yet to realise that their son has a problem. Everything he listed about the guy speaks of Autism, Imagine at 14 he can't differentiate between 71 and 17. This a serious development issue.

Gundel001:
Hi good day my fellow Nairalander please I will really need your experience about this issue. Please help me read to the end as it is a little bit long.

My junior brother is 14 years old and to be sincere I haven’t seen anybody as dull as him. I don’t know if it is natural but I just can’t understand why someone at that age could still be struggling with very simple arithmetic. My brother can’t write 1 – 150 correctly at 14.

He seems too dull; note he attends one of the best private school around our area, though I know you might say maybe education is not his way but even if you want to drop out from school you should know some basic things like money, time, multiplication and so on but my brother doesn’t know anything I must say, even to write his name correctly is a problem. It is making everyone unhappy lot of money is being spent on lesson teachers and other things for him still no improvement.

I am a student of one of the top federal University in Nigeria same as my other siblings even at both secondary and undergraduate level we were always above average so I can’t say his problem is genetic. I really wants to know what is the problem with him nairalanders. After I finished secondary school I once taught some pupils in primary school though there were dull ones too there but with time I could see improvement unlike my brother i always try to teach him from time to time but it kind of frustrating as he doesn’t even seems like he will ever grab anything and he doesn’t behave like he wants to learn anything.

He makes it seems as if he is not interested book or arithmetic at all …we all tried talking to him endless time to always read any time he his less busy but he never does except he is being forced.

He rarely talks, he loves to keep to himself always, he doesn’t have interest in anything unlike we the others that are die hard football fans, most times my mom will tell him to even go out to play and mingle he will not still want to go, he prefer to stay at home seating all day without reading or doing anything, even if it is to draw or play football he wont.

This matter is not making everyone happy at home we don’t even know the solution to his problem again, as in imagine having a child that is 14 years old that doesn’t know the difference between 17 and 71 it is just so bad…..

We don’t know if his case is mental or spiritual. please nairalanders I know there are child experts in the house or anybody who have experienced something like this before what do you think is the problem and possible solutions to the problem your contributions are welcome.

Please help me push this pleaseeeeee

your brother has autism, and you guys are just realizing it late. Please take it easy on him. See a therapist.

Politics / Re: All Yorubas In Lagos Are Migrant; History Can Never Lie by Vivuch: 1:51pm On May 24, 2020
Odingo1:
Go and read your history, stop taken lagos-Ibadan media propaganda hook and sink.

Ijaw people are the first people to occupy the river-line area of Lagos followed by Egun people from Togo/Benin Repulic and finally Ilajes and Aworis. Yorubas migrated in droves to lagos after the British conquest of Eko in which they defeated the Bini Kidgdom ruling over it with the Bini name Eko and renamed it Lagos (the name lagos mean dustbin in portugese language from where they derived the name) and allow the migrant Yorubas to have upper hand because the British want to weaken the indigenous people from resisting British rule in lagos.

There is no indiginous yoruba person in Lagos. All of them migrated from hinterland to lagos. Tinubu is from Osun. Ambode is from Ogun. Fashola is from Ibadan. Sanwo Olu is from Ondo. All yorubas in lagos are migrant and they know that.

However the present day Lagos belong to Yorubas because they have conquered it, it is left for them to hold it tight because fulanis will surely test the waters.
Lagos doesn't mean dustbin in Portuguese language, Lagos in Portuguese mean Lagoon area.

Help! My Sister Is Seeing Her Period The Second Time This Month

Please Doctors in the house, my younger sister is seeing her period for the second time just this May.

She confided in me so I promised to ask questions.

She's 21 years of age.

She saw her period on the 4th of this May and today being 20th, she's seeing it again.

Although before she saw her first period, she was recovering from Malaria and that means she was on drugs.

Please this is a serious issue and it's giving me concern.

She has been staying with me in my house since the lockdown started and I can verge for her.

Please your kind advice is needed.

Family / Re: My Husband's Family Is Sucking Him Dry by Vivuch: 3:33pm On May 19, 2020
Anni3e:
Hi, I have been married for 9 years now, the problem I have with my husband is that his family members keep sucking him dry and the way he neglects us his immediate family.

He is the first child of 7 children, his siblings even the married ladies keep asking him for money. He keeps spending money on them and their husbands. His brothers keep crying they are broke, they keep leeching off him.

His two junior brothers that always ask him for money, one of them built a house in Port Harcourt and the other one built a big house in the village. Still they won't let him rest.

His married sisters are the worst. If they cough they would call him to send money, every minor thing they would expect money. Just this evening his sister called him to ask for money. We don't have a house of our own, I keep telling my husband to stop giving in to all their demands and invest the money on something, he would say I am turning him against his family.

We have 2 kids and I have told him we need to start saving for their future, I pay the electricity bill, foodstuffs, and most times the children school fees, he pays the house rent and rarely keeps money for home upkeep, he sometimes drops two thousand and that's it for the whole week. He always complains he has no more, but once his family calls him he sends money immediately.

I have saved enough to buy a land and I am not planning to include his name in the property. I don't know what to deal with, his family entitlement mentality or the way he neglects the kids and I and treat us like outsiders.

I am really pissed off and tired.

Sorry for the long post.
Buy the land but don't add his name.

Romance / Re: I'm Dating HIV Positive Lady & She Is Pregnant. Advice Needed by Vivuch: 11:55am On May 12, 2020
Crazeman03:
Hello Nairalanders, Hope you guys are staying Safe. Please don't mind my writing, I will make it short as possible.

I met this wonderful lady Last year and everything has been going good until 7 months ago when she told me she was Hiv+. That hit me hard but that didn't change anything, she was surprised I didnt react and opening up to me didn't scare me because I'm negative though we haven't had sex yet before the moment.

Now it has been 4 months we've been having unprotected sex. I'm not afraid of contracting the virus, as she keeps taking med and her viral load is low. I made sure before we went for test before having unprotected sex. Her CD4 count is above 750 and viral load is below 20, which makes hiv undetectable in her.

Now one night around 3months ago, she woke me up in the middle of the night to ask me, why do I love her knowing fully well about her status because she could not believe she will ever have a relationship with someone negative not even in this Nigeria by the way they stigmatize hiv+ people. I told her the reason and I'm not afraid hiv is not the worse or the baddest of diseases. There are more killer diseases than HIV and HIV is not a diseases but a virus. Only attack your immune system and its no longer a deadly virus.

The problem I have now is that whenever I imagine myself having it and how I will popping drugs everyday, make me kinda moody towards her, because I always keep telling her to always take her drugs. Last night she discovered she is pregnant and I'm just imagining things how everything will play out, I know when she will put to bed she won't be able to breastfeed. People will ask questions. I really need to tell someone in my family but I don't know who. My mom my react and the other person I trust is my younger sister.

On her own part, only her elder sister and brother knew she has the virus. And she had it since 2007.

I only need an advice if I need to tell any member of my family, looking to settle down with her this October.
please she can breastfeed her baby, but the rule will be exclusive breastfeeding and no additional of baby formula, anytime she gives that child baby formula that will be the day she will stop breastfeeding the baby, please meet a qualified health professional for more advise.

Even this one wasn't good enough? See as them dey spray themselves for person window. What's that man in orange doing there? He was too close! Breeze no dey blow the virus? I think there is every likelihood it does.
Analysis has shown that the virus was found on bedroom window sills and other places of infected people rooms. How did they get there?

Best thing in my opinion, is to bury victims far away from people. Also, deceased families should watch from afar. Safety! Safety!! Safety!!!
The spray is a chlorinated water that kills the virus, so they're safe, even the window is protected.
