You Can also apply for Irish Research Scholarship. PhD years count towards one citizenship. Don't give up bro. You will surely win! Chibabe4Christ: Or you can even apply for PHD there .. with your M.Sc it will be very for you to gain admission and visa |

Depends on an individual I would say and of course the God's factor. But I think most feel it's more fairer and they stand a 'better chance' of actualising their dreams abroad than here in Naija. Just my thoughts tho chukzyfcbb: na wa, this is not encouraging.
From this thread so far in the past 1yr plus I have been following, I can say from comments dropped here that Ireland will be a tough place to break even.
Most keep harping on "luck" "luck" despite the Msc. Not encouraging |

Hmm, pay all the fees at once ICASNG abeg try let Griffith no say it can be tough for some International students. Is there a way to suggest to them Two times instalment payment plan with due date for the 2nd instalment 3 - 4 months after school start date? That will make it more flexible for prospective students and it can be an advantage to them as well (just me thinking sha) Olayinkaji: Evening my brothers and sisters. I received my admission offer this evening. But was told to first do a higher diploma in CS then my masters in network and computer security. All from Griffith college. The issue I was told to first pay my tuition fee in full before acceptance of admission? Is that how is it? Secondly is it possible for me to use the diploma to work for a while(raise small money for the masters) then start the masters? Your help is appreciated |

Alumni/Current DBS/Griffith Student Opinion on Data Sc. Programmes
Making enquiries for a friend. How good is the MSc programme in Data/Business Analytics at DBS & MSC Big Data Mgt & Analytics at Griffith?
Is it worth it compared to what DCU, UCD Smurfit & NUIG Galway offers for instance? and DBS Data Analytics taught modules looks a bit shallow to me (just saying ooo...one of the reasons I'm seeking students' opinion here)
Want possibly a graduating student from DBS or Griffith opinion on this. Will really appreciate. Thanks |

Emma sorry for whatever issue it was... Does it take this long to get a reply from school? -----> Not sure about that!!! If U still want 2go ahead & defer, try and send a reminder mail to your School International Office and copy your Programme Coordinator (s) as well (with reasons why you are deferrig) for them to begin the process. Normally, you should be given a deferment form to fill and submit back to them. Schools may differ - ethically, acceptance fee shd be credited to your student account for the next school year. But others will require you to pay deferral charge to lock-down your place. Whether you pay or not pay deferral charge will depend on your school policies and conditions as regards deferral and/or withdrawal from a programme. For fees refund, you shd be fully refunded but again like the above, schools have different conditions guiding their refund policy. But I know from the few Irish schools' policies I've gone thru, fee implications kicks in and affects the amount you are refunded once it is Seven Weeks past the start of an academic session. Your School International Office and your Programme Coordinator are well versed in this matter. Contact them again. If you can, try calling them as well. Best of success bro Emmanuel360: Please i have a few issue i'll like someone to clear me on.
I deferred my admission early in august because I didn't forsee resolving the issue I had before September but till now I haven't gotten any reply from the school. Does it take this long to get a reply for deferment?.
I paid about 99% of my fee before I deferred the admission so I'll like to ask if it is necessary for me to seek a refund and repay or not |

Hmm....tho i don't want to laugh But I really wonder what's their plan? I just hope they act wisely. In my opinion, while some schools have tried, I still feel others (their international recruitment/immigration team) are not doing enough by way of intervention to expedite their students' visa process (from my own experience). Really pray it ends well for everyone. WINNIE9223: Hi guys, some Nigerian students who are awaiting visa decisions and are on the verge of losing their admissions are currently in abuja. Please if you are in Abuja, try to join them in being adamant that they speed up things. Maybe it's really help. |

They should focus on streamlining their visa process and see how turnaround times can be cut down to about 4 - 5 weeks at most. They can a learn a thing or two from UK visa process Promoting fairs with a broken immigration system is counterproductive... GrasstoGrace: Pls try and attend |
