Solumtoya:I'm having a similar issue although mine is a dependant partner of skilled worker visa. ![]() 08 instead of 09 was written in my day of birth. I would have managed that (then apply for correction of the error upon entry if it happened to be repeated on my BRP), but I just saw that my former passport number is what's written in my vignette, instead of my latest passport number. I'm just tired. ![]() I never knew oyibo would be making typists' errors on something as critical as travel documents. Someone said I should just travel with the two passports. So many tales abound of the excessive delays people experienced while waiting for correction of errors made in their vignette. ![]() I'm just tired. |
SaintOpzy:Have replied you. Regards. |
SaintOpzy:The TB certificate is mandatory for Nigerians even for infants and in situations where it isn't listed among the required docs. I was using one eye to work in the office and using the other eye to fill visa applications for my 2 kids and myself. At the end of the day, I forgot to include my son's TB cert. I was later graciously contacted by the UK DMC to forward a soft copy of the TB certificate, which I did immediately. His visa came out by the following week. You can do an email to: worksponxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxx.gov.uk Subject should contain your VAF Number, GWF and names. Dear UK DMC, Regarding Visa Application: GWFxxxxxxxxxx For: Adamu Yetundu Chinedu Please find attached a copy of my TB MHA Certificate which was omitted in error during my application. My sincere apologies for the oversight. Thank you for your kind consideration and understanding. Warm regards. P.S. Send me a DM so I can give you the full email address. I masked it to forestall spamming of their mailbox. Regards. |
LagosismyHome:You've been so kind. Would do that as soon as I land. I see that I have to lodge a complaint within 10 days of receiving my BRP. |
LagosismyHome:Ok. Thanks a lot. |
Good day everyone. My Visa (dependant of Health and Care) just came back and I discovered that they made a mistake in my day of birth on the vignette. 08 instead of 09 was written. What can I do to have them correct it? Or can I travel with it like that? Like how long can it take for the correction? Cos I just plan to travel and remain at Abuja until the correction is made. Thanks. |
bunsuq:Congratulations! Please my Visa just came out and I discovered that they made a mistake in my day of birth on the vignette. What can I do to have them correct it? Like how long can it take for the correction? Cos I just plan to remain at Abuja until the correction is made. Thanks. @Uzland Update: I returned my passport back to my VAC on a Monday and attached a letter addressed to the DMC, UK Home Office, explaining the vignette error to them. My VAC called me on Tuesday of the following week to notify me that my passport was ready for pickup! Before you could say Jack Robinson, the passport just landed at my office that I had used as pickup address during my initial application. Sincerely, I was pleasantly shocked at the speed of response by the DMC. Special thanks be to God Almighty and to everyone who responded when I made the complaint earlier on. Una wehdone o! |
Chinkoalhaji34:Why are you posting his pictures from 7 years ago? Why can't you use his recent pictures? What are you ashamed of? |
Greetings everyone, ancestors, floor members and silent observers. All protocols duly observed. I'd been browsing air fares from ABV to LHR in the past few weeks and the rates I'm seeing currently are beginning to make my head spin. They have tripled! And are still rising. Or is it because my cookies are now giving me away as an intending traveller, that the sites are raising rates for me? Bikonu, is there anything wrong in flying into the UK through London Gatwick? I'm seriously contemplating that route, even though it'll add an extra 3 hours for the trip from the airport than if I'd flown in through LHR, to my eventual destination. I saw some toxic reviews about LGW which I'm inclined to manage and the price difference between LHR and LGW is almost equal to N2m. ![]() Your kind responses are appreciated biko. Villa12:Agbado ambassador, have you gotten the job you were so craving for after NYSC? |
Dukeolumidemans:Do you see any blokos anywhere? ![]() |
Christistruth00:Keep deluding yourself because of dollar bribe. Selling the future of your unborn children in exchange for a mere pot of porridge that will be finished in a short time. Tinubu when he saw that he wasn't gonna be president in 2015, decided to forcefully sell Buhari to Nigerians, while giving all sorts of fake promises and with the expectation that he was gonna take over immediately Buhari was done ruining Nigeria. This was why he could shamelessly open his mouth and tell people that it was now "his turn". As if we are no longer in a democracy. After all, in his twisted perception of electoral process, he thinks it goes to the highest bidder. But that's where he has got it terribly wrong. Things are no longer the same. Because of PO, Nigeria now has over 96 million registered voters. And you think that surge arose because of Tinubu? You're in for a shocker bro. Stay in your lane and do your campaign. But if you decide to disrespect yourself and attack PO, just know that it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. In hundred folds.

Yettiesbiz:Check their Vignette. It's written there. Since it commences from July 20th, it would be valid until 18th Oct I think. So they have from now till Oct 18th to travel to the UK and pick up their BRP. P.S. That sticker inside their passport is not the "visa" per se, but more like a permission to enter the UK and pick up their residence permit and stay in the UK, for as long a period as the skilled worker visa holder. Hope this helps? |
Lexusgs430:Or can't he apply the "staged japaing" in this situation? Let madam come fes, while the kids stay with Grandma at home. Then him and madam can hustle hard to raise cash that will comfortably bring the kids over. |
anishe:Which UK network? |
Karlman:A smart and Portable endorsement! |
iwaeda:The AIG < DIG < IG |
OKOATA:For deep anchoring to what? |
Lexusgs430: ![]() But the staging is not deemed sanctionable abi? I wan follow in their footsteps. Make I no go follow who no know road. ![]() |
Lexusgs430:Ah! Now you've confused me with the last sentence my Oga. ![]() |
Karemarealty288:I swear! That kind of union where the couple behave like twin siblings. |
TheGuyFromHR:Quick question please. Skilled worker visa holder is already settled in the UK. Can the accompanying spouse come alone to the UK (for say 6 weeks), pick up BRP and return back to Nigeria to bring the kids before the expiry of their Vignette (it's valid for 3 months)? Hope there won't be an issue at the entry border when the accompanying spouse is travelling back to UK with the kids? CC Lexusgs430 Thanks. |
Lexusgs430:LOL. E no go ever finish. The beautyful ones are not yet born sef! |
Promisesmiling:Ewwwwww! |
