PlayMaker14: Some weeks ago, I had a chat with one Bobo Chicago loyalist and told her straight up that her benefactor will only end up eating watery beans at Kirikiri by the time the AGF, Abubakar Malami is done with him.... She tried to refute that, but I had to school her thoroughly and made her realize that she's loosing her sense of belonging pitching tent with the bullion van ambassador.
Having said that, I will also lend my voice and advise the Iragbiji born cocaine lover to go into goat farming or revamp the Cocoa business in the South West with the stolen Lagos funds.
2023 is not for the drug baron and surprisingly, his wife have already started shattering his dreams with unguarded statements. you could be right about Tinubu candidature no doubt But trust me APC will still get to power come 2023 and possibly beyond! |

Career › Re: Explain With Facts And Win A Big Reward by VTJN(m): 9:50am On Apr 28, 2021 |
missfrancess: Let crack our brains . Question of the day . Is teaching a profession? If your answer is yes or No Explain with Facts ,5k for anyone who have the best convincing answer personally i won't consider teaching as a profession Teaching is an inbuit traits, it's absolutely within we obviously have varieties of teachers (Islamic scholars, Bible/Sunday school teachers, parental/guidian tutors to mention but a few) these aforementioned categories are obviously a teacher. but nonetheless, do not consider it to be a profession while majority of those in the formal education settings. particularly, we Nigerians without any iota of doubt consider it as an option, a second fiddle et al. Interestingly, majority of those in the formal sector (teachers) are not happy in what they do, possibly they have no other offer at hand and they deem it fit to opted for what's on ground. they aren't proud of what they do Nobody is proud to be a teacher, no parents want their beautiful daughter to get married to a class room teacher. those who had the skills, the intellectual capacity to impact adequately aren't there, they rather consider something else other than a class room teacher Personally, you don't have to acquire a formal education before you can be referred or addresed as a teacher, we do have religious tutors who perhaps didn't see the four walls of classrooms but were able to impact! judiciously, some got paid in their various religious denominations while some don't but they were happy some of our parents didn't see the four walls of classrooms. Nevertheless, they made us a responsible fellow we are today in the society due to their dedication, adequate monitoring, mentorship, guidance and what have you in our upbringing. They most times thought us what those class room teachers were unable or can't teach us My parents are my teachers which they don't even see as an option to be considered as a profession! Lastly, a teacher is a service to humanity which personally i don't consider a profession! |

Education › Re: He Was Sacked For Making Bad Comments On Report Cards by VTJN(m): 8:23am On Apr 27, 2021 |
WoundedLamb: I don't think your friend meant any harm. Besides, the comment section is there to be used for all sorts of feedbacks, good or bad. But then again, his choice of words aren't exactly the best. He wrote as if he was talking about some boys he met on the street and not his own students whose well-being really matters to him. Next time, let him make the message more personal (by using the kid's name and using expressions in place of single nouns). And most importantly, he shouldn't define any kid by the flaws shown within the report period (I think this is the most glaring fault here). Instead, he should make it clear the flaws are periodic too.
For example, the comment, "he is a truant" makes it seem as if you're calling the kid names. It's as if the teacher has already given up on the child. The same comment could be written as "Eric has missed classes a couple of times this term without permission and this has affected her performance negatively". It still means the same thing but significantly better. Using his name shows connection; specifying the period shows it's a moment in the kid's life and not who he is; using the expression "missed classes without permission" in place of "truant" shows respect for the kid and his parents; adding the effect of the truancy shows concern
Let's not forget parents send thier kids to school to correct these things and not just to observe them and give reports. Exactly my point The choice of words used by the teacher is wrong! |
