Ge0grapher: Go for human Geography (University of Oslo) instead thanks for your input But is there a reason why we should opted for human Geography instead of the initial course we intend to put in for Do you also consider the course prospects in relation to job opportunities? Thanks! |

aurorae1: No to the PGD result, as it's the bachelor's degree that matters when applying for masters. As for his 2.7 CGPA, this translates to a 3rd class, and most Norwegian universities ask for a Grade "C" at least, so it will be difficult to gain admission with it. He may try some schools, especially with non- competitive courses, but I personally wouldn't bank on it. Just being realistic.
Let others weigh in. please what's the chances of someone with 3.48 cgpa? |

Arinze001: There's hope. Professional certs are not really asked. It depends on what the said school requested.
As you said, the proposed MSC programme is akin to what he did as an undergrad. He should scale through. Someone that had a 2.95 cgpa got accepted last month. Baba dey JP now lol
Tell him to apply to numerous schools.
Skól! interesting! That guy must be truly lucky Which course and school does he got the admission? |

Apply for a course you did as an undergrad.
God help us! thanks very much bro! A friend also had 3.48cgpa/5.0 with a 3 years professional certificate related to his first degree and the intending master degree Please does he have any chance? Thanks! |

IAMPEDRO: Sir, I'm sorry to say this, we are the ones suffering ourselves. Is school not supposed to be a normal thing? Go to the north and see how they beg people to come to school. They organize test as though they don't welcome bribe. Yes you are right, the northerners are not too educational inclined. They don't like going to school. Though not all, but the rate of uneducated fellow up north is much more higher than that of the south They tried to come up with different things that will encourage them just to get them enroll, most of those social and humanitarian empowerment are solely to help push them to school and support them all But down south, almost everybody want to go to school, unfortunately the school can't admit all because each school has a carrying capacity Therefore, they are left with no other choice than to scrutinise them to get what they want Historically, i learnt UI was the first school to come up with the idea of writing post-utme This happened when some students with all distinctions wasn't able to live up to expectation! Note that it was just an oral interview then after jamb, not necessarily a written postutme After such horrible experience, the school management decided to use jamb and postutme, i think their postutme has a higher percentage than that of jamb They concluded that students cheat easily with olevel exams just to get a better grade (special center) they assume no special centers in jamb CBT and post jamb. I hope you get that clearly now? |

oakslid: Competitions are high these days, depending on the university of your choice, you'll need minimum of 75% CGPA. For the top schools, may be 80% and above. University of Tromso accepts First Class Student only (for some courses am aware of). It will do no harm to send mail to the corresponding universities. sorry please, which schools would you recommend for someone with 4.20CGPA/5.0? Thanks in anticipation! |

Kunilefo: Not yet still making plans.. 2.2 can get admitted these are some tips
1. Write ielts 2. Apply for courses similar to your first degree 3. Apply to all schools 4. Be steadfast and prayerful Goodluck Thanks a lot for your swift response I thought not all schools requested for IELTS as part of their requirements? Are you saying a 2.2 product should write IELTS irrespective of the school just as a backup to complement the class of Degree? Thanks! |

Florence2021: I was about to ask too not in UI, university of ibadan assume most students cheat to get their waec grade. Therefore, they don't use that to determine their point of entry mode They rather set their test, come and prove yourself if truly you worth those distinction you carry up and down in your olevel result |

I am not perfect neither am I holy but when I know this is the right thing, I will do my best to stick by it. Over 100million people go to church or mosque everyday in Nigeria (yourself inclusive) but it's a shame that we still find ways to justify our wickedness, crookedness and hypocrisy. If this is who you are and what you believe, then you lack every moral right to castigate any Nigerian politician or leader cos in actual fact, if you are there, you will do likewise. Absolutely, i can't agree less! Because the system is messed up then you felt the best you can do is to futher mess it up This is what i do call BLACK MAN MENTALITY They worship money alot! |

Mist100: Please I need mature responses only.
I have been married for 5 years with 2 beautiful kids. During this period the marriage has been bumpy as most relationships. I noticed our approach to problems and seeking solutions are completely different hence the many disagreements. I like to plan whilst she is spontaneous.
But in the last 2 years my wife introduced a new twist. During major disagreements she would usually say she had big and classy dudes around her but she chose me. She would infer our difference in status by saying several friends wondered why she was marrying me. Currently I work and take care of all our bills whilst she is trying to start a business.
2 years ago My mum got our daughter Ankara clothes which my wife refused to dress my daughter with saying they were oversize. Months after I asked her for the clothes she said she gave them out because they weren't nice. I was so angry but kept my calm to avoid another altercation.
Everything seem calm now but I have made up my mind to discuss we taking breaks away from the marriage. This will allow us re-evaluate our expectations and realities. I honestly want out of the marriage but don't want to sound too hasty.
I want to spend the next 5 years and more in bliss and peace but wonder if my reaction is too extreme.
Thanks Yes you are too extreme, take a chill pill! |

Klass99: Dem use marriage swear for us in Africa?
What exactly is there to salvage?
I took an Uber ride last week Saturday and while I was in the car, the radio was tuned to a station with an interesting topic on marriage/domestic violence.
The guest speaker narrated how a woman came to him to say, you were right all along. She had been praying and fasting for years that her husband would change or God would change her husband and it never happened for the 20+ years she was married to him.
I think the lady is 50 years old now and she decided she was done. She wanted out and wanted to just do something as service to humanity and God.
I think 99.3 was the radio station. I asked the Uber driver if he knew the title of the program or the guest speaker's name but he said no. He told me the program runs every Saturday though on that station. I had reached my destination and couldn't continue listening but what I heard alone made an impact on me.
So, let redirect your question to you. Is the marriage worth salvaging? Not just women, even the so called men sees marriage as a yardstick to success They have this mentality of if you don't get married you are half dead |

Kendyrich: It is not possible for them to go back to 200L. The students can only remain stagnant in their current levels until the departments are accredited before they graduate. I am speaking from experience they can also be transferred to other schools with full accreditation, though they will have to start from 300 level Being stagnant might not be the best option, who knows how long it will take for NUC to do the needful |

flavnwokem: Why will the former VC admit students for courses not accredited? And if the current VC allow them to graduate will their certificate be accepted ? And will the NYSC recognise them cos officially such courses started existing 2 years ago in that institution ,that is the questions we all need to ask not abusing the current VC . they only have two options They either obey the VC, go back to 200 level and hopefully graduated with certificate and get mobilized for nysc Or Get transferred to another school whose courses had full accreditation, but they will have to start from 300 level The VC even like them that's why she gave them an offer, if she decides to keep mute and they graduate with no certificate and can't go for nysc that is when they will know wotsup |
