Mrbllymer: tag the op to that I care less. you can tag her since you're trying to justify domestic violence. Something must have led to something. She must have said something at the kitchen, bla bla bla. Was that justifiable for domestic violence? |

Mrbllymer: do you read to understand? The woman is asking for how to get her husband back provide solution to that. And I didn’t mention you or quote you. Stop please stop quoting and face the OP. she should let him remain in the police custody since he has refused to come home. When he's tired he will leave there or the police will throw him out of their custody |

Mrbllymer: Exactly you already painted him and hurled words at him based on her side of the story if the man was here to say his side I'm sure there would be questions to ask, cos no one knows the truth except the two of them, and when a woman is feeding a man we both know how they can be. Yes women lie a lot but judging her case based on “numerous men out there battering their wives” doesn't seem right, for each marriage with its own peculiar case. The guy deserves the arrest but how he chose to reach is no one's business.
From the story, lotta questions need to be asked. What happened after he came back and went to the kitchen? No details I'm sure there are questions asked, confrontations, insults, and many more. nothing absolutely warrant or deserve domestic violence. Stop justifying or condoling violence. It is wrong of you |

Roozzaay: Then you lots are the shits in the hole. I asked him if there were no criminals in the said developed countries and here you are talking about corrupt leaders I guess shithole means the leaders are living affluent lifestyle while the masses cannot even afford 3 square meal daily. Poverty level in Nigeria is beyond imagination. The political office holder shares billions amongst themselves at the detriment of average Nigerians. I bet you most average Nigerians can't afford 2 descent square meal daily. Your politicians fly first class aircraft and private jets while an average Nigerians don't have money for t-fare to move around in search of their daily need. Your politicians owned mansions across the globe while an average Nigerians cannot pay their house rent. Most of our graduates are jobless while some are into Yahoo. Your minimum wage is 30k while your politicians earn in millions if not billions for sitting down. Some of them can't even string two words together to make a sentence. Yet, they live large than the so called educated ones. Only few family can afford a bag of rice now, too bad. One thing is sacrosanct in this country. If we do not go our seperate ways in peace then a big anarchy is coming. The poor masses are watching, waiting to be pushed to the wall completely. I laugh at some of you guys defending these politicians here and there. When the time comes these politicians has America passport and some other developed countries. They will jet out ASAP. It will remain you and i Keep defending them thinking you're more Nigerian than others |

Luckysbab: True.
But it hasn’t exactly turned out well for them too. The kids raised by a single parent are more prone to being a societal menace statistically. I disagree based on Nigeria society though Most irresponsible adults that i know has both parents. I mean those engage in fraud, prostitution and all that. They had both parents living together. A single parents can raise responsible and successful kids while some both parents can't |

immortalcrown: Does money stop war?
Does money guarantee peace in marriage? Haven't some of the richest couples divorced?
Does money guarantee intelligence? Don't you see some poor kids outperform rich kids in the same school?
Does money guarantee beauty? Don't you see rich people with their expensive makeup and suggery, still looking uglier than some poor people? hundreds of thousands of poor folks divorce on a daily basis without getting to know because they aren't important but once a single rich folks get divorce, it will obviously get to limelight. That is to tell you the importance of money in marriage. Those poor folks probably wouldn't have separated if there was money. What is the point of being intelligence but ended up being unemployed or underemployed (coming from Nigeria) lots of graduate are unemployed in Nigeria, do i need to tell you first class and 2.1 graduates are amongst them. Where has their intelligence taken them to? An average but rich students will go places, dine and wine with those that matter in Nigeria. Reason why you see rich folks enrolling their kids in top schools just to mingle with their fellow rich folks unlike the poor who either attend public school or average local private school and still mingle with their fellow poor people. Back then education was the easiest route for poor folks to escape poverty in Nigeria. It doesn't exist anymore. You're on your own after school. Don't you see that first class guy beaten to death for stealing food at the market? I am a 2.1 product but earning 20k monthly as a teacher. I've seen first class doing marketing job for 50k take home. Only few fraction of poor intelligence folks make headway out of life, the rest are obviously poor living from hand to mouth Where has their intelligence taken them to at the end? |

LewisHamilton15: My uncle promised to help feed me, house me and pay my bills. Then I was fresh out of the University. After my service he promised to make way for me to secure a job with the Federal Government. I was doing a petty job which I stopped while expecting the one he promised. He kept sending me money when I didn't secure the job. I called him last week and lamented about a pressing issue but he angrily ended the call. He sent me text that I should move into his house to help his wife do the dishes, laundry and other home chores meant for women and I am 39 years old, how can I do this kind of work? My problem is that the woman may begin to control me. What should I do? Move in or not? Lest I forget, he said he will not help me for free again. is it a crime in doing that please? Do you want to live with them without lifting a finger? Or you expect her to do the laundry for You? You have two options Either you move into the house and help out in house chores willingly without seeing it as anything Or Move on with your life |

MentalCase98: Yes it’s possible but much harder because by that age you are depleted; mentally and physically. You can’t hustle and learn things as easily as when you were young.
Thats why the ages of 25 to 50 are so important. Those are your peak years where you have the vitality to make hay and secure your future. It’s a pity too many youth use that time to play away instead. it is not easy for some of us seriously. I for instance has done virtually everything within my reach to make headway but all to no avail. I am a 2.1 graduate but teaching with 20k salary. School has closed and i wonder how i would survive till September 18th. Coming from a poor home is really a disadvantage to some of us. I can't indulge in crime. I don't have the mind. I am the second son also. My elder brother is also not doing fine. He's a graduate. My other siblings can't go to school because there was no money. One is learnt fashion design but there was no money to get her sewing machine. She's just 18, and can sew very well using her madam machine at times. If my dad was alive, maybe things wouldn't have been this tough on us. I cried at times. The suffering is too much. We hardly had two square meal daily. My younger brother can play football excellently but no sponsor. He can't go to school because there was no money. He's just doing menial jobs just to keep soul and body together. The last boy still in secondary school but i do pity the poor boy. At times i do regrets why i came into existence. It's not being easy seriously |
