SAGE MODE ONLY ENHANCES THE USERS OWN ninjutsus. So when you're comparing two sage modes, in essence what you're comparing is the ninjutsus used and they they were augmented by senjutsu chakra using the users creativity..
So are you really going to try to compare the Ninjutsus of Jiraiya to the ninjutsus of naruto? Knowing where both are coming from and the age and experience difference? Jiraiya has obviously had more experience with Senjutsu so his creativity with the applications with respect to his own jutsus is bound to be greater than naruto. And besides BASICALLY JIRAIYA AND NARUTO DON'T USE THE SAME JUTSUS APART FROM RASENGAN.
So i was wondering where your question was coming from...

With my amaterasu scenario i was trying to get you to tell me why you thought ma and pa couldn't be hurt or where you heard it.. You could have easily clarified me...

Jiraiya's Sage Mode is the same with Naruto's. Sage Mode only enhances the users own techniques. Jiraiya obviously has more techniques than Naruto because of his many years of experience, which when combined with the enhancing abilities of senjutsu chakra makes him impressive..

1. Assume you didn't know where naruto trained to get his sage mode and you just suddenly saw him use it. Which animal feature would you say his sage mode had? Would you have really been able to associate his pupils with those of the frogs?
2. Oro and Kabuto summon snakes and they learnt Snake SENjutsu, Jiraiya and Naruto Summon Frogs and they learnt Frog Senjutsu... Now tell me what Harashima summons.. And don't tell me He doesn't have a summon..
3. If you see a summon with those markings around Harashima's eyes around its. Would your theory still hold ?

Naruto runs out of SM every 5 mins and has to rely on cover from colleagues,talk-no-jutsu and taijutsu to get out of harm's way while Jiraiya maintains his as long as Pa & Ma remain on his shoulder.
Techniques wise, Jiraiya has more than a perfect SM Naruto who can only manage two RS before switching off and calling for another clone.

Yes, Naruto's SM is the upgraded/final version of Toad SM but i'd take Jiraiya's over Naruto's any day.

bro you're getting things confused here..
1. If Pa and ma had merged with naruto, naruto wouldn't have had the toad like features that Jiraiya had because what naruto mastered which Jiraiya didn't properly master was "Balancing the natural chakra with the users chakra to create senjutsu chakra"
2. Naruto himself has Said that it is possible to extend the amount of time one stays in sage mode so i expect that by the time naruto is jiraiya's age, He would be able to stay in sage mode for atleast 30mins.. If you haven't noticed, the time He needs to enter sage mode has drastically reduced..
3. If you are able to dislodge or kill either ma or pa while they are on jiraiya's shoulder won't it disrupt his incoming flow and leave him with just the senjutsu chakra previously gathered? A problem naruto won't have
4. Sage mode only enhances one's natural techniques by augmenting their strength and range with Senjutsu chakra. So if you're comparing 50 year old Sannin Jiraiya's techniques to naruto's and attributing the difference to sage modes then you're on a long thing...

Dude you're making some erroneous assumption about Senjutsu and Sage mode.. Follow what Jidesp is telling you. We have similar understanding..
Secrets passed down is different from hereditary techniques.. And if it was passed down from So6p then WHAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST MANGA WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE...
For all we know Harashima might have learnt his own from dragons. Or the Buddha....

Excuse me Orochimaru did not absorb Kabuto's chakra from kabuto, He only absorbed back HIS OWN CHAKRA from kabuto, which was why it removed all the Orochimaru like features on kabuto's body...

Another thing is Jiraiya's 'imperfect' SM lasts longer than Naruto's 'true' SM so which one makes more sense?

The reason Jiraiya's sage mode last longer is because pa and ma are constantly gathering chakra for him and hence he always has a constant supply of natural energy while naruto only has the natural energy he got when he was standing still which he mixed with his normal chakra.

As for Jiraiya's sage mode, i am of the belief that the only imperfection there is the physical ones while the actual workings of the sage, like the right natural to personal chakra ratio is correct, remember that while training, it was mentioned that if you use too little natural chakra, you will not enter sage mode and if it's too much you'll turn into a frog.

I wonder why you're looking at this one sidedly, jiraiya can enter Sage mode without the assistance of those guys, you saw the anime flashbacks where He was learning it the same way as naruto... No clones, no ma and pa on his shoulder.. Now the only time that you saw Jiraiya enter sage mode, was he in the position to stand still for Any period of time? Don't you think Pein with his rinnegan would have seen the natural energy entering his body and then gone to neutralise him?
Didn't Pa suggest that he and ma stay on his shoulder so that he could learn how to let them gather it for him and use it? Didn't you listen to the explanation why? So If they had succeeded without interference from the 9 tails, then you would have Said that naruto hadn't fully mastered sage mode because he needed ma and pa? Just like you sage clones in the first assumption?

You're not getting my point.. And you've have not pointed anywhere that deidera got the limb back without obito(are you seeing where i'm coming from?). Obito makes himself intangible by sending parts of himself to the other dimension, he could have easily brought it back...
Revealing that tobi was obito made sense and this particular scene was what would have supported the revelation for those who are observant..

It's like reading the manga where the mask was broken off and then you're like "oh no wonder it was obito who was with the hand that time". Personally i had forgotten how deidera got the hand back but i theorised that obito must have given him back and when i got here, i wasn't surprised to see that i was right.

Where was it said or insinuated that naruto needed clones to gather Chakra for him before He learnt it himself? Was it not when he was running out of Senjutsu chakra that he revealed the plan he come up with ? Which was to leave clones at Mt Myobuokuzan so that they could gather Chakra for him while he was in battle?
All the time he was in Mt Myobuoku did he create a clone ?
The art of gathering natural chakra and fusing it together is such a delicate art that you don't use clones to learn it..

The only thing that Jiraiya didn't master was how to completely mix his chakra with natural chakra in order to have full access to sage mode, hence he had an imperfect sage mode, this means that apart from the assimilation and balancing aspect of the sage mode, that he got the other parts down. my point being that there are other aspects to being a sage than just entering the sage mode and also another point that i would like to mention is that, Jiraiya was an Imperfect sage and hence the only limitation he would face are the limitations from being unable to enter the complete sage mode.

If you want to base any argument on the bolded above then you must be able to list those limitations.

I personally can't trust a girl that left her guy for me. Whether the girl would like to admit it to herself or not, i would account for most of the reasons why she left or started seeing faults with the guy. I know i don't Have the ultimate game and if a girl can freely jump from one relationship to another then she can do the same to me.
Besides if a girl doesn't have a good relationship with a guy she would break up with the guy and stay alone for a while before entering a new one.. So no matter how you look at it really, jumping shows a flawed mindset
