Urchins no too rejoice ooo to avoid heartbreak.
Wike is even hiding his own,
Rotimi Amaechi as a sitting Rivers governor with strong structures on ground campaigned openly for Buhari in 2015. Go and check 2015 Presidential election in Rivers state.
Politics › Re: 2023 Elections: Muslim-Muslim Ticket Won’t Work In Nigeria – Datti Baba-Ahmed by Walai(m): 7:49am On Feb 22, 2023
You made some very important points here.
Incoming President OBi should delegate more Presidential roles to VP Datti's office cos the work is enormous.
My biggest joy about the two is that their political phylosophy surprisingly matches 99%.

Unlike OBJ vs Atiku and
Buhari was misled by his cabal to isolate Osinbanjo, that was when his downfall started.

It would have been different if it's OBi vs Kwankwaso. Infact the implosion in the Presidency will start in the first two years of their first tenure.

OBi and Datti will work together very well and I see Datti taking over after OBI's Presidency.

viodemus:
True talk and vice versa.

As much as this is an election of moving in the right direction. Hopefully with a careful hi-paced confidence. This is more than religion and tribe combined, it comes with factors like feeding, commerce, law and order, respect domestically and foreign, national literacy, a magnet for businesses (mostly good business), etc.

Datti, soon to be oga Datti, has been solid so far. I just hope that oga Obi can maximize the efficiency of their relationship.

If I were oga Obi, I would delegate Datti to follow up with NASS, on most deals we want passed that has to do with most finances and some laws, including sporadic LG projects; I will do this if I were oga Obi, I would delegate most educational issues, most npf issues, agricultural challenges, transportation efficiency as is, some visibility on the power issues - should be more of a number 1 focus because it is unsettling majority of the people,; while as the number 1, I will be ready to absorb all Datti issues and more, of course with help. NA, CID, dss, even npf, will be under his control. He can fire and hire; but I will let Datti intervene more with npf if he sees fit, on community relations and/conditional issues, and improvements; Datti should be getting a whatever report from the head of npf and other npf role leaders of choice.

I can configure this things in any way, but if I was Obi, I will go this route and more. That way our work will be efficient, we can accomplish more, including ministers and projects evaluation. That way, I will kill two birds with one stone; my actions will be impactful in many good ways, which can be helpful in reelection, and also it makes then Oga Datti visible and impactful to the people, for incase he decides to run in the future.

We also need to figure out how to pay our public figures, like ministers, and others, we need to work on their pay. They should be given the right environment, not excessive, but respectable, and bonus when the nation wins.

Things like NA intelligence, he don't have to know too much, except by number 1 decision.
All NA activities internally need to stop. Strictly other forces will be responsible. NA will only be training and living in Nigeria. Sambisa problem is npf issue, their tactical branch that should include some experts from NA, can resolve that issue. Force will always be last resort, but intelligence and wisdom of that intelligence will be key. Also, try to eliminate the option to be useless with bh, by creating the environment for jobs and the jobs itself.

There are more to it but ....

back to the subject

oga Tinubu was not confident in himself, so he had to go pick a northern muslim to solidify his northern presence. He could have picked a northern christian or northern traditional religion, but he went to pick another muslim, because he can be arrogant at will. All these cod have been overlooked, but

You just proved me right.
Like I said you're senseless

YungMillionaire:
Peter Obi is a monumental failure and a thief. If you don't get that you're foolish and senseless. Also, he will be probed for the 2billion he shared to CAN.

You would have made sense if you rebuked him without resorting to insulting his candidate but unfortunately you're senseless

YungMillionaire:
You have ZERO sense of decency. This is not the place or time to be pushing your 3rd class failure who stole Anambra's money and gave it to his daughter.

We all know what happened in 2019. INEC result posted online showed PDP won but the wuru wuru APC magic over turned what we saw offline.
The game is different now
Here's the 2015 nairaland poll

LandMann:
Nairaland polls are very unreliable as the forum is filled with a lot of emotionally demented folks.

See 2019 polls on nairaland. The least liked candidate won fair and square.

I'm proud Igala but Obi remains the best candidate.
This same poll was held prior to 2015 election and Buhari won GEJ hands down.

I love what he's doing.
SE is already in the bag but this time he is campaigning to ensure maximum turnout.
If SE records good turn out, OBi is entering the election with at least 8 million votes even before the election starts.
Can someone tell me any other candidate that can boast of that?

The funny thing is that Nigerians don't seem to understand the enormous powers conferred on the President.
That's why some people are campaigning for a man we know cannot take personal decisions to be President today.
Nigerians let's end this cabal style of Presidency where people we don't know will be dictating the decisions of the President.
It's not all about tribe, it's about our future here

Politics › Re: Your Action Can Lead To Anarchy – Festus Keyamo Slams Buhari (Video) by Walai(m): 9:36pm On Feb 17, 2023
Wow! This is a real eye opener.
More reason why we should be extra careful in who we give this enormous powers.
But in my opinion I think Nigeria is not yet ripe enough for this Presidential system.

Why can't we adopt the President as head as head of state, Prime Minister as head of government and 6 Deputy prime Ministers from the six geopolitical zones.
The power in Abuja is too concentrated

Brendaniel:
That is why it surprises me why our past presidents don't use this power to Favour the citizens, instead they use executive orders to punish the citizens like border closure and so on, Nigeria president is one of the most powerful in the world in terms of powers conferred on him to exercise in his country.

In some other countries the power is divided into 2 or 3, that is why you have president and prime minister in some countries or president and head of state or maybe the 3 at the same time.

In Nigeria our president is using the 2 or 3 powers at the same time.

President, commander in chief of the armed forces and Grand commander federal republic of Nigeria (GCFR)

Means he is president of Nigeria, then commander in chief of the armed forces, that is he is the only 5 star general in Nigeria and commands all the armed forces chiefs, when the soldiers see him all they see is a 5 star general walking up to them not just as a president as the civilians see him, he can wear any of the armed forces 5 star general cloth(Army, Navy or Air force), the only thing is he will look undemocratic, that is why they don't like doing it and it might put fear in the country and to the international community like UN.

Then finally he is the grand commander federal republic of Nigeria(GCFR), I think only the queen used to have that position before Nigeria gained indepedence, only a democratically elected president can attain that in Nigeria, it is the highest title any Nigerian can have as a Nigerian citizen in Nigeria.

Politics › Peter OBI: Is History Repeating Itself ? by Walai(op):
Peter OBI became a governor at a time when Anambra was in a very serious political, economic and security crisis.
Both government house and governors lodge was burnt down by politically sponsored arsonists.
Anambra was all time low when He assumed office but the story of Anambra when He left office was that of grass to grace.

Fast forward to 2023, Nigeria is in a serious political, economic and security crisis (same as Anambra before Peter OBI).
Just like his governorship, He is bound to inherit the chaos called Nigeria as it's new President.
I don't envy him at all.

1. When you talk of Peter OBI you're talking of a governor that retired powerful Anambra cabals that kidnapped a sitting governor

2. When you talk of Peter OBI you're talking of a governor that single handedly won a statewide election with a party that cannot boast of a single local government councillor in Anambra state

3. When you talk of Peter OBI you're talking of a governor that was impeached twice and He fought back and regained his mandate

3. When you talk of Peter OBI you're talking of a governor that personally supervised the pulling down of mansions belonging to kidnappers and criminals ( no state governor in his time can dare it).
Even Evans the Kidnapper escaped to Lagos when Anambra became too hot for him

4. When you talk of Peter OBI you're talking of a governor that handled MASSOB without making a noise about it

Peter OBI's gentle disposition should not be joked with, He's a lion
