Kabosky1956: Hello friends....i have been a fervent follower of this forum and have greatly been informed and keyed into the testimonies of your guys.
Please kindly help me out with some concerns:
I applied for a a Study visa after been admitted to run a PGD program with George Brown College,Toronto for the September 2014 semester,applied through the paper route( April 9th-Biometrics,May 10th- Medicals, May 23rd- Letter of Approval sent, July 3rd- Went to get my passport@VFS Oregun but to my dismay,on the stamped&approved visa-it was cancelled) with a letter stating REASONS OF:1. Insufficient financial resources to pay tuition and living expenses whilst not working during period of study). This is after paying my 1st semester fees of $7,550CAD.
And i deferred admission to January 2015 and arranging to re-apply again....Now i am about to pay the full tuition for the duration of study and also using my paternal uncle who is a Canadian citizen and my sponsor(used him previously) though this time he is boosting his bank statements,providing all his payslips,documents of proof of house ownership,letter of sponsorship stating that he is solely responsible for my upkeep,accomodation and living expenses as he also resides in Toronto.
Please friends,kindly advise if this will erase the 1st cancellation and if its presentable enough 2. Is 1st week of October too late for re-applying as my medical seems to still be valid...your advise will be deeply appreciated. God bless you. Please guys,help a sister out with suggestions&advice!!!

Jaydenehis: My CGPA from my under grad is very poor,2.17 and although I was accepted in d uk for my masters because I did well in law school and had good work experience,i'm told all that doesn't count in canada as the undergrad is the most important which means there was no point doing my LLM and so the best I can get is a PGD to start afresh which is what I want to do with a diploma or PGD.

I was refused study visa to Canada and they refused to send me rejection letter that I need to process the refund of my school fees. The school is requesting for rejection letter, pls what should I do? Am confused

ilrbell2005: Hello guys, thanks for your help. I would like to post an update regarding the statement on the Referral form that i received from Lambton. I emailed and received the clarification below:

Should your visa be refused, your refund would be processed according to the visa rejection section:

Lambton College will provide a refund of any prepaid tuition (less a $250.00 refund processing fee) if the student is denied a student visa under the condition that the student provides the Lambton College International Education Office, within the first ten (10) days of the student’s first semester, an authentic visa denial letter issued by the Canadian High Commission. Provided such visa denial letter is deemed to be genuine and accurate by the Lambton College International Education Office, the student will receive a refund of his/her prepaid tuition fees, less the $250.00 refund processing fee.

This statement is referring to the tuition payment. Should a student receive their visa, arrive in Canada and withdraw from the College, they would not be entitled to a refund.

Amefrica: I got some USDs at WemaBank today ...I have account with them tho. The lady was telling me, they wouldn't accept a One-Way ticket, that only a 'return' would be accepted. Na so I begin dey rake for em in Canadian/American accent combined *too much hollywood* say I'm on a student visa, and I'm not coming back home anytime soon.

They were just telling me to calm down and they later accepted. They photocopied my e-ticket, visa and int'l passport and I was told to write a letter - they also stamped my data-page
with their stamp/logo.
