Nigerians fails to realize that Tinubu, Saraki, Dogara and few of them are professional Politicians. Never forget, Politics is a game of numbers. It depends on how many you are able to move to your side that determines your strength. I don't see Saraki stepping down for Tinubu. They are both strong-willed individual. Tinubu care less about the masses as long as money comes in. God Bless Nigeria. |
Omo, i would stick to her any day. No matter what happens! I have learnt a few things in my 16years of marriage and i know that a woman could be very helpful, supportive, understanding and great if the husband shows some Leadership. 1. If a man is in charge of the home, the wife will not err. 2. There is tendency for anyone to slips, after all we are all human. Invariably we need one another's support to avoid being slip. 3. Even if at all it happens, a man should take responsibility to show (a) Leadership (b) Forgiveness (c) Patience. What is the probability to find another saint out there in the jungle? |
THE NORTHERN STATES HAS MORE LGA THAN THE SOUTH! HOW MANY OF THOSE FOLKS EVENTUALLY VOTE FOR THE PROFESSED PARTY AT THE POLLING BOOTH? I AM IN SUPPORT OF A CHANGE, PDP IS NOT OUR PROBLEM BUT GREED. HOW MANY OF THOSE FOLKS AT THE SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPS CAN JUSTIFY THEIR PRESENCE SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN AT THE NASS. YET, COLLECTING MILLIONS AT THE EXPENSE OF THE MASSES. |
Everyone of us has an expiry date written boldly on us. Wife cant see her husband's expiry date while children finds it difficult to know their parent's exit day. Be careful of what you say. |
Bishop Kolawole Gideon Onaolapo has written a bold signature on the surface of the earth. He was set to dedicate a 25000 Seater Auditorium August 3, 2013 in one of the major city of Lagos. No scandal has ever been traced to him, a husband of one wife and father of children and many spiritual children across the world. Recorded in history to be one of the great general of our generation. He came, he made an impact and left a footprint. RIP, my Bishop!!! |
How can the government purnish a retired teacher who managed to build a piece of property within Lagos State because he didnt beutify the perimeter of his property. Some things doesnt make sense in Nigeria, too much excesses on the part of the government. The law made it mandatory for landlords to beautify the perimeter of their properties or face punishment. The government will even purnish you for smoking in your car. Even in the West, it is not unlawful to smoke in your car. Weird issues in Lagos..... Friends, Whats your take? http://odili.net/news/source/2012/sep/18/831.html |
Lets appreciate these guys, it is not easy to lead. Some folks who criticise all the time cannot successfully lead their siblings let alone a group of 50 youngs people. This is a country with ethnic, language and so called class divide. Lets appreciate these guys. All shall be well with Nigeria. |
Nigerians are so good at pulling themselves down ![]() Any attempt to see another person rising and doing okay in life, they will start to cast stones and dirt on such an individual or country. Post anything bad about America, UK etc, Nigerians will start saying all manner of things. Dirty minded people. Instead of a collective voice against this monster called Boko Haram, imagine all these notes against such person who has come out openly within his congregation to rebuke their act. |
Obasanjo of course being a civilian president. Some people might not agree but he knows how to handle both sides of the ailes. His age, experience, comic and background were asset for him. He did very well. History will judge later. An average Nigerian (Politician, Student, cleric etc) is corrupt, so forget corruption even primary, high school kids are on the track of corruption in Nigeria except those whose parents or mentor guide well and listen to their guidance. Obasanjo tried, his good side far better than the other. I still respect him! If Babangida had come back as a civilian presiden too, he would have done very well better than OBJ but he never did. Long live OBJ. |
Most discussion on this forum lacks quality and honesty. The unfortunate part is some folks comes here to lean on others advise. No woman (Pagan or Religious) in this 21st Century can survive a man without a good job for 10years moreso if the woman has prospect. I know a neighbor who married a medical doctor husband at LUTH, the lady grew and waxed stronger in a prominent financial institution to the extent that she owns 2 cars (SUV + Car) while the husband rides a push and pull car. Marriage already collapse with a 4 year old daughter sharing in the pain of divorce. The list goes on an on! The most important is to marry a loving, caring, God fearing and intelligent but educated to a "level" man with tenacity/doggedness to navigate through the thick and thin of life. Such people go a long way. |
This is not a good move! The day the US, UK, France, Germany and those industrialized nations moved their workshop out of China, their doom begins. I am not sure if you guys know that their production capacity is more (in all ramifications) than their population. The shift is coming, no one really knows where it is going. Remember, those developed nations will forever have their relevance in the global field of the noble, they built the field and they maintain it. Its like a family of a generational rich man who passes inheritance from one generation to the other. Its possible one child messes up but the inheritance still speaks. Who is China? Whats yuan? Gold is far better than yuan, please correct me! Sanusi a big fool. |
MeGaStReEt:I love this! ![]() |
I wonder why those who govern us across this great nations are criminals, fraudster, drug merchants, 419er, yahoo-yahoo executive and what not. All the way from Tinubu to the least person. I cant just imagine where we are going as a nation. |

@ xynerise xynerise:Shallow minded nairalander! If our so-called meteorologist prepare the Nigeria citizens and keep records of those storms, floods and natural disasters in Nigeria, what name would they have given the flood that killed many, wasted/destroyed properties in Lagos last month? or the flood that just happened in Ibadan? or those tropical storms in the Northern and Eastern part of Nigeria that claimed houses/roofs without property insurance for any meaningful compensation? Fashola and his team make a mockery of GEJ because he didnt respond switfly to Lagos flood last month - Poor Preparedness, Poor Response and Painful recovery process. Every nation has their own natural disaster, i live in Nigeria but your comment is very shallow and i think you need to be told that such comments is unwarranted. Chikena! |
Nigeria has an entity is really unfortunate having all these thieves as Leaders. I cant really mention any of those guys who has genuine love and interest to better the lot of Nigerians. Special Interest Caucus - All the gallery practices of Saint Fashola's Hitech Nigeria Limited firm with the Lekki government sponsored projects is a shame. His daddy's Alpha-Beta Consulting practices is mind buggling. Very soon, Remi Tinubu will come back after 8 years in Nigeria Senate to rule Lagos. Its a shame. I know God will save Nigeria. |
Anyhow, we need cleansing. The same way Hope 93 showed up, walked tall yet abducted and killed. Those bright Nigerians including Ribadu, Buhari etc came to offer their services yet we ignored their voices. I am still looking out for the guy who would come and have EZ-pass with Nigerians. Some of us just like to open our mouth and talk nonsense sha. At times i am amazed at the comparison we make between Nigeria and the United States. Its amazingly amazing! The US is already making an undeniable footprint in Renewable Energy we are still waiting for the day our crude oil will not hold any value again; go to the midwest and see how they are making "ara" in this pursuit. If they should stop for 100 years, we can never meet them. Throughout the Midwestern States of the US, you would see how they are exploring crude oil without any spillage or environmental concern, go to the troubled Niger Delta area of Nigeria and see all the wonders of oil spillage, killings and what not. Its really irrational at this level to compare having 24hrs electricity to civility. Look at these statistics! IF NURSES IN AMERICA ONLY WORK 40HRS WEEKLY LIKE THEIR MATES IN NIGERIA (MY CONCENTRATION IS LAGOS STATE), NURSES WILL NEVER BE APPEALLING TO ANYONE BECAUSE NIGERIAN NURSES WILL SURELY BE FAR BETTER THAN THE US NURSES WITH ALL THEIR BRAGADO. REMEMBER IN AMERICA, CHECKS COMES IN ONCE WHILE BILLS GOES OUT TWICE. MY WIFE IS A MATRON IN ONE OF LAGOS MAJOR HOSPITAL WITH OVER 10 YRS OF EXPERIENCE AND SHE MAKES GOOD MONEY THAT IS OK FOR HER, DRESS WELL, RIDES A GOOD CAR AND STILL HAVE TIME FOR HER FAMILY WHICH IS A RARE COMMODITY FOR US NURSES. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING I BELIEVE IS CONTENTMENT WHICH IS A VERY SCARCE COMMODITY AMONG US NURSES IRRESPECTIVE OF WHERE EVER YOU LIVE ON THE SURFACE OF THE EARTH. |
Its all politics!!! This man Tinubu knows that any attempt to deny Fashola will displace him on Lagos political scene. Jimi and the rest of his Old boys club will take over. Though Bode George is cooling off at the camp but there are other generals on the field who could make fun of his acclaimed political hold on Lagos. Anyway, nice development! |

SOME LADIES ONLY THINK OF WHAT THEIR WOULD BE PARTNER WILL BRING INTO THE RELATIONSHIP, WHAT DOES THE LADY HAS TO BRING TO THE RELATIONSHIP TOO? THERE WAS A PRETTY LADY WHO WANTED A HANDSOME MAN, SHE GOT IT BUT THE GUY COULDNT STAY WITH THE LADY because HE IS A MAN OF MANY PART. STOP THINKING OF YOURSELF ALONE RATHER WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE FOR THE GOOD OF BOTH. I CAN BET IT, WHAT IS MEANT FOR YOU WAS MADE FOR YOU, NO MATTER WHAT THE UNFORSEEN MAY LOOK LIKE. BEWARE AND BE-PREPARED! |
Trap! Trap!! Trap!!! Trap! Trap!! Trap!!! Trap! Trap!! Trap!!! Trap! Trap!! Trap!!! Trap! Trap!! Trap!!! Trap! Trap!! Trap!!! Trap! Trap!! Trap!!! Doing business with 2 - 3 million naira in Nigeria of today and monitoring from abroad? Kakokalo live! |
The most unfortunate thing (Lack of Knowledge anyway) about people at home is that, they often think that Diasporans are overworked or taxed because they are immigrant. The failed to realise that even the nationals irrespective of the country also pay heavy/normal taxes and do work hard too. Wisdom is principal sha but understanding/knowledge is KEY. I wish one day Nigeria will grow and we will stop making hate talks. |
KUDOS TO ALL FOLKS WHO MADE SIGNIFICANT AND REAL TIME ANALYTICAL STATS OF THE NIGERIA STATE. I RESPECT YOU ALL. MAY YOU ALL FLORISH IN ALL YOUR PURSUIT. NICE COMMENT AND ARGUABLE THE BEST I'VE EVER READ ON NL. |
The level of your comfort will determine if you would stay in 9ja if you have a silver/golden opportunity to relocate abroad. A lot of folks here on nairaland saying all manner of things are still unemployed yet because opportunity hasnt come their way, they've turned to a hater of those abroad. Lets be sincere, what is the level of an average nigerian comfort level across the board? Whereas, comfort is not a luxury in abroad. Uptill this moment i dont know how my stove/cooker is powered and i dont care to know. All i know is that whenever i turn it on, within few minutes my food is ready. I dont bother myself with petro scarcity, electricity or "basic" amenities that are luxury in 9ja. i can go on and on. My father used to say "the person who no get opportunity dey call am cheating": "eniti ifa ko to si, lo n pe ni aramu" chikena. |
@ Ace (f) (f) Is there a particular way applications are submitted in Nigeria? |
Bode George bags 2or3yrs in prison today for pressing too many buttons at 9ja level. How can the regional chairman of a rulling party go to jail? I still cant get it. He must be so greedy & unrefined. |
