The question is similar to asking why does "darkness" exist? Darkness exist because of the absence of Light. Evil exist because of the absence of God. God did not create evil. When you remove God's moral standards: you have a solid framework for evil.

Except darkness is the absence of VISIBLE light only. There are still photons moving around, undetected by the light sensitive cells in our eyes. So technically, there's a lot of light even in pitch black darkness.

There are places in our natural world where darkness is separated from light, by FORCE. Those places are called event horizons. If you find yourself visiting one of these places, don't forget to remember that you're already DEAD. Hahaha.

One should always expect punishment for performing good actions.
For example, the local authorities might now start to investigate the man's tax history and see that he hasn't been reporting his taxable income on that toilet paper business he got going on. Tax fraud usually leads to prison time, or heavy outstanding liabilities. He may end up needing that money.

There's a giant salvage yard in Fayetteville, and commoners like us go there to purchase automotive parts, instead of buying brand new ones. Driving over to that place feels like slapping your mother in the face. Over and over.

It's a ten minute drive filled with torture. The first thing that greets you is the scent of their giant lawns. Wicked people.

I have seen many lambs. I've also seen bright lights. How did you know that the lamb was Jesus? I'm asking because we may have seen the same lamb. Did the lamb talk to you in English or your native language?

Don't you think it is better to allow people to live with their mental constructs rather than exchange it for a society with a dead conscience and no fear of retribution from higher beings like God? In as much as I have consistently said that religion alone contributes more and has killed more people than it has ever saved it is still a necessary tool to control the conscience of men to an extent.

Have you noticed the attitude of a child raised by ardent atheists ,how do they relate with kids that are raised by a religious people?
I bet you that if you open your eyes to what a society we would end up with without religion ,you will begin to appreciate how religion has helped mankind to make sense of his existence and usefulness even as it continuously make us too dumb.

question: of what good is alcohol? in my own view, only revenue to the government. what other use is there? i was a heavy drinker, beer, vodka, samagon, spirits, expensive when i'm loaded and home made when broke. what use is there in drinking alcohol?

Some people can't survive without following the national hockey league. Other people love cricket. A friend of mine MUST put salt on his watermelon before he eats it. Some people like the buzz of being drunk.

Liking alcohol is not the issue. A drunk man who goes to sleep after drinking is bothering no one. He has a right to do anything he wants to HIS OWN BODY.
