Sources told Vanguard that he has undergone another surgery, cutting off part of the same leg that was initially amputated last month. His health is said to have degenerated to the point that he hardly talks again.
There are also fears over the deteriorating health of another veteran actor, Amaechi Muonagor, who has been hospitalized at Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi, Anambra State, for over two months.
Giving an update on the health of the ailing actors in a telephone chat, National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria,AGN, Dr. Emeka Rollas said;

money121: Social media influencer, Priscilla Ojo, has criticised singer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, for accusing her actress mother, Iyabo Ojo, of defamation and threatening legal action.
Naira Marley had taken legal action against actress, Ojo, alleging the dissemination of false and defamatory content on her Instagram account.
In a letter sent to Ojo, Naira Marley’s lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, outlined the accusations made in a September 2023 post, stating that the actress accused Naira Marley of engaging in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
Responding on her Instagram stories on Friday, Priscilla questioned the singer's audacity to threaten her mother, highlighting ongoing legal matters involving Naira Marley.

"Unfortunately, she innocently wore inappropriate clothing belonging to one of her elder sisters without our knowledge, posted it on her WhatsApp status but unfortunately a view-hungry adult (who I believe should have done the right thing by calling to report the child's behaviour considering that we consider her a family friend), downloaded the video and posted it on her own tiktok account without considering that the child may have posted that video without fully understanding the consequences.
"The video was shared without my consent or the consent of her handler.
"I take full responsibility as a parent, and I sincerely apologise for any discomfort or concern this may have caused.
"I'm addressing the situation with my child, emphasizing the importance of making responsible choices. Please understand that this was a mistake, and I am taking steps to ensure it doesn't happen again.
"Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time."

A Nigerian businessman, Michael Ezeala, has been arrested by police operatives in Malaysia for allegedly stabbing another Nigerian businessman to death.
Ezeala, who hails from Mbano in Imo State, was said to have attacked and killed the victim, identified simply as KC, at his Aman Puri apartment in Kepong on Thursday night, December 14.
The deceased, who was based in Klang, was the suspect’s best friend.
According to a source, the duo were having an argument when Ezeala used a kitchen knife to stabbed KC multiple times on his neck.
It was gathered that after committing the hideous crime, the suspect attempted ending it all by consuming a poisonous substance. He, however, survived and was picked up by the police.

The vendor in a message to Instablog, which was shared across social media by the blog on Thursday, alleged that Phyna rented the wig for a movie premier on Sunday, December 10, 2023, and was supposed to have returned it the next day but haven’t done so.
