seunmsg: In an unprecedented show of support and national acceptance, High Chief Government Ekpemopolo aka Tompolo today bought the front pages of two national newspapers to congratulate President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his inauguration as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This massive show of love and support from Niger Delta leaders like Tompolo, Asari Dokubo, Wike, Jonathan etc goes to show that the South South is fully in support of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration. I’m glad the Senate president is going to the region.
Kudos to Tompolo and other Niger Delta leaders for putting the unity and progress of the country ahead of emotional, petty, bigoted and selfish ethno- religious considerations. Their show of southern support and solidarity will never be forgotten.
Dicado: Let's take a look at the past presidents from 1999 to the present.
It seems that from 1999, Nigerian presidents became successful based on the first letters of their surnames. If the letter is closer to the beginning of the alphabet, it means they will perform poorly, but if it's closer to the end of the alphabet, they will perform greatly.
Obasanjo - "O" is the 15th letter of the alphabet. Obasanjo's performance was according to the position of the first letter of his surname. Then he had "Olusegun," an element of another "O (15)" which, when all summed up, gives the figure 30.
Yar'Adua - "Y" is the 25th letter of the alphabet. Yar'Adua's performance was according to the position of the first letter of his surname. Then he had "Umaru Musa," elements of "U (21) and M (13)," which, when all summed up, give the figure 59.
Jonathan - "J" is the 10th letter of the alphabet. Jonathan's performance was according to the position of the first letter of his surname. Then he had "Goodluck Ebele," elements of "G (7) and E (5)," which, when all summed up, give the figure 22. The "G (7) & E (5)" (below 10 each) elements which resulted in lower figures were the bad side of his administration.
Buhari - "B" is the 2nd letter of the alphabet. Buhari's performance was according to the position of the first letter of his surname. Then he had "Muhammadu," an element of "M (13)," which, when summed up, gives the figure 15. The "M (13)" element which resulted in a mid-figure (above 10) was the good side of his administration.
Tinubu - "T" is the 20th letter of the alphabet. Tinubu's performance will be according to the position of the first letter of his surname. He has "Bola Ahmed," an element of "B (2) and A (1)," which, when all summed up, gives the figure 23. The "B (2) & A (1)" (below 10 each) elements which result in lower figures will be the bad side of his administration.
In conclusion, their surnames will supersede other names which form an additional element to their surnames' capabilities. So, if we give a round figure by percentage of the above administrations, we will get: 1. Olusegun Obasanjo - 30% performance 2. Umaru Musa Yar'Adua - 59% performance 3. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan - 22% performance 4. Muhammadu Buhari - 15% performance 5. Bola Ahmed Tinubu - 23% performance
Arranged by hierarchy, we'll have: a. Yar'Adua - 1st position b. Obasanjo - 2nd position c. Tinubu - 3rd position d. Jonathan - 4th position e. Buhari - 5th position
If it were these other two guys, they would get the below figures in their administrations: 1. Peter Gregory Obi - 38% 2. Atiku Abubakar - 2%
It is important to note that this is just an observation that echoed out of imagination and does not represent any actual performance of any of the names of the persons listed above, as their performances may vary.
obi4eze: Not a new thing. It happens every year here. It's summer bank holiday. And they don't cmreally care about the inauguration. They have other things bothering them here.

Bobloco: Outgoing Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, has said he would need to reduce the number of cows and sheep in his ranch because he would not have enough money to buy feed for them after office.
Buhari said his animals are easier to control than Nigerians, whom he ruled for eight years.
Buhari has repeatedly said he would return to his hometown in Daura, Katsina State, to look after his cattle.
During his speech at a pre-inauguration Gala Night held on Sunday, Buhari re-echoed that he would go back to his cattle and sheep in Daura.
His words: “I am looking forward to tomorrow to fly to my base to go and meet my cattle and sheep, which are much easier to control than fellow Nigerians. But I have to reduce their number, because I cannot save enough to buy them feeds.”
Wonders all for today, Cheers! Already we won't forget his Name anytime soon, he will always go down the record for Black List! Even him generation go hit the rock in future for Nigeria politics
In a recent TV interview on Arise TV, Prof. Cyprian Edward-Ekpo talked about issues bothering the Judiciary; and some of the flaws hampering our justice system.
“My opinion, I know the Supreme Court is a court of Law and a court of policy. It makes Law and it develops the Law and it redefines the Law. It has the power to do that. The Supreme Court of any country across the world (has the power to do that), but I don’t buy the idea of courts having the habit of slamming lawyers with costs. I think it impeaches the principles of the pursuit of Justice.
“The provision of Section 66A and B of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has it that the duty of the court is to entertain grievances and to address it and to give a direction on what to do, and that is how countries are governed, and that is the spirit of the Law.
“When the Justices have the habit of attacking people who approach the court, I think that technically the Judges are encroaching on the inner morality of the Law,” Prof. Cyprian Edward-Ekpo said.
Prof. Cyprian Edward-Ekpo who is also the Author of the book, ‘Law Obidients In Tears’ asserts that people go to court over grievances and/or for address of controversies and that hence the Judiciary should redefine its course.
He made it clear that the purpose of the court all over the world is to entertain grievances.
“The purpose of the court is to define what is the position of the law and that in turn gives birth to Justice. I don’t see people going to court as being frivolous,” Ekpo further said.
Ekpo said further that accusing litigants of being frivolous is another way of discouraging litigation.
“Litigation is not an offense, it is not an abnormality. Litigation is a right of all citizens,” Ekpo said.
He spoke about his book titled ‘Law in tears’ in which he addressed the corrupt nature of the Judiciary.
He condemned the idea of blackmailing Judges via any means whatsoever as he said it is not common in civilized countries.
“The Judiciary has a problem, let’s face the truth, the Nigerian Judiciary has constituted itself as an odium of the country,” Ekpo said.
He lamented that there are judgements one will read and one will wonder how the Judge who passed the judgement became a Judge.
He lamented that many at times Judges are not hired to the bench on account of merit but on account of partisan connection or connection to highly-placed people within the Nigeria Judicial Council (NJC).

Philgafauto: Nigerians and Christians, I hope you are sitting down. I am going to blow your mind. I am going to share with you the secret of life. Ready? Good. THERE IS NO GOD. Your success or failure is all dependent on you so wishing and praying does not further anything for you. Life is like a casino and you can never hit 7 every time. You win some, you lose some. The only thing you can do is prepare yourself for when you hit 7 and take full advantage of it.
Bringing the foregoing within the context of Nigerian politics, i will say that the reason many young people and Christians are hurt is because we have a simplistic view of this life. Because western civilization is built on Judeo-Christian values, we have clung so much to religion (Christianity) that we believe there is a divine being that solves our problems and will come down to dispense justice according to our notion of good and evil. This misconception has made so many christians complacent, while forgetting that humans are basically higher animals who will go to any length to acquire power and wealth. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the personification of all Nigerian Christians have come to acknowledge is wrong and evil. He has nebulous origins, his shadowy educational background, long history of drug smuggling, connections with the criminal underworld in Nigeria and so many other vices too many to comprehend. But the man is a genius at understanding that the African societies in general and Nigeria in particular is not yet fully evolved in the sense that our institutions are weak and corrupt. His presidential ambitions date back to the 90s when he was an acolyte to late Bashorun MKO Abiola and he began his network his then. I will come back to this later in the write up.
You see Nigerians and fellow Christians, evil rules in this world and if you are not ready to play within the evolutionary boundaries of your society, you will continue to fail in your endeavors. The rot in Nigeria is fundamental and systemic but it came to a head for me personally in the early 2000s when our young men began indulging in cybercrime and they made headway and have continued to thrive above and beyond clean and legit citizens. This rot has now permeated our political, judicial and military system. I am a lawyer by profession and i remember the question asked by late Justice Chukwudifo Oputa (of blessed memory) that if the judiciary is corrupt, where should the people go? If the executive is corrupt, you go to the judiciary for redress, if the legislature is corrupt, you find your way to the judiciary for relief, but when the judiciary is corrupt, where do you go? This poser aptly captures the predicament of Nigeria today. As a lawyer and a Nigerian, it pains me that we have to go through this mess to realize how royally f*cked we are. If we had as a society relegated religion and elevated practical nation building, with strong critical state institutions, there is no way Bola Ahmed Tinubu would have been able to defeat all our institutions no matter how much billions he had. If we had strong institutions, he would not even had been a Governor in Lagos State. Anyways, that is water under under the bridge and in a few hours time he would be sworn in as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. And for the record, no non-existent God or sky daddy will do shit about it. We got ourselves into this situation because we are blindly religious, not fully evolved as human beings and we have millions of illiterates all over the country.
When the white man says blacks cannot build a functional society, it is not racism but the fact. A strong virile society is built on the bedrock of the rule of law, not prayers and prophecies. That is why the Americans say "so that we have a society of laws and not of men". Even the US, the bastion of democracy and Christianity are still not totally free from the frailties of human nature. Corruption and executive overreach still rears its ugly head in that model society. That is why the founding fathers of America took many months to craft the American constitution and the Bill of Rights in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, ensured that the guiding document had inbuilt structures to guard against rampant corruption and state capture. That is why the 2nd amendment (gun rights) was built into the constitution-- because the founding fathers, even though christians, knew that the citizens must have the right to defend themselves against their government. Enough of the American histrionics.
As for Nigeria, we should know that our supreme court derives its authority from the compliance of every strata of society to its rulings and dictates. Put simply, that institution is only as strong as we make it. Same goes for the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Section 1(2) of Nigeria's Constitution says the government shall derive its authority from the people of Nigeria. There are salient provisions which stipulates the requirements for any individual to be sworn in as the President but a few strong men have ignored that and want to swear in Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a few hours from now. Like i said earlier, no God will intervene because societies are built by human beings. Even in our individual lives, it is our hardwork and efforts that pay off and not any prayer. This election should teach Christians to be practical with their lives, plan, educate yourself and your families, know thy enemies/adversaries and adopt the can do spirit. Do not allow any Man of God or GO to deceive you that one sky daddy will bless you without hard work and enterprise. Do not allow them to feed you with fake prophecies going forward. If you have the means, you can emigrate and raise your families in advanced countries. Nigeria is not getting any better soon because the foundation of the country is faulty.
On an individual level, do all it takes to make it and depend less on prayer. Plan for the long haul like our incoming President who saw that Nigeria is corrupt and was savvy enough to build a crony capitalist system in Lagos State that enabled him pilfer trillions of naira from of the coffers Lagos State to buy our critical institutions and the Presidency. Though corrupt, we cannot deny his organizational and tactical acumen. He, being the robber baron that he is, knows that, other than the few western nations, most of the countries in the world are still backward, with weak institutional and legal frameworks to guard against state capture. While you absorb the pain of seeing Tinubu being sworn in in a few hours' time, don't dwell on it too much, but let it be a realization that good most times never prevails against evil in the real world as opposed to what your religious leaders tell you.
Oga u need pain killer oo, na all this dey ur body n never get BP? The earlier the better n u ppl give in, support the administration, the more peaceful n longevity of life span of Nigerians n Nigeria.
Vinnie2000: Many naive Tinubu supporters Believe He will perform Magic as President. 😏
According to them, he did well in Lagos as Governor.
Whatever he achieved in lagos was due to the party he belonged to: AD, a party founded by real Progressives ideas from UPN and the Legendary Chief Obafemi Awolowo.😊😎
Currently, he is with the Jihadist, Satanic APC party that has brazenly Ravaged Nigeria since 2015.
Tinubu will FAIL for these reasons.
1. Like Buhari, He will still Appoint Politicians as ministers. 2. Like Buhari, His Failing Health will cause him to Travel endlessly. ☹️ 3. He wont be able to galvanize the Army to defeat NE terrorists. 4. Like himself, Imposing a Criminal as Senate President on Nigerians. 5. The national Assembly will be divided, leading to a Legislative Crisis. 6. Some of Thugs e.g MC Oluomo, will Misbehave alot. 7. His Corrupt cronies will still run down the Petroleum sector. 8. ASUU strike might still occur. 9. His Legitimacy problems will Haunt him and he will ignore lots of States. 10. Aso Rock/Fulani Cabal will control him and he will do their Biddings.😒
So If you believe Tinubu will be different from buhari, you are engaging in SELF-DELUSION.😕🤦
NB: If this Post pain you, Knaçk your Head in the Nearest wall close to you. 😏
oga but ur head never break as he became president, in life time, he is about to be sworn it under ur nose.. na u need pain killer oo
