Quote by ssheryl: I'm so sorry WebMonk, that must have been hard for you, thank God you haeled.I just don't understand why a person decides to do such a thing to the person he/she claims to love.Tnx. Sometimes a hopeless romantic requires a strong heart . The irony is that it can either make someone become a better person in relationships (caring enough not to break other people's hearts, and appreciating them more than face value), or would make the person a manipulating player, serial flirter, or whatever comes out evil intentions.truth truly is stranger than fiction. |

I have been heart broked once and it was the most painfull experience I ever had,I cried for two long days.I don't even like thinking about it.It felt like someone slicing right through my heart,I've ever dated since then and I'm not looking forward to it.That was how the 1st time was for me. The second time was more intense, probably cause i thought it would never happen again. I almost lost track of who i was. Thank God for recovery. Well, you know what they say, what can't kill you can only make you stronger |
This site rocks. love the flash outlook, out of the ordinary. Can't Access Web Video/Audio though. Does it have to do a setting or My link? ![]() |
Willkommen! (Welcome in German) |
@echowords used to be a nintendog too, till they stole my N64 in school, I still cry over the carton at night.oh, sweet words! Perfect Dark was/IS the only thing that still makes me look at my 64 (Wipes the dust with tears). And they had the nerve to use it to sell thier expansion pack! how rude! ![]() but my bro can't wait for ps3. He's settling for 360. guess i'll find which is the real deal Nintendo sucks, there must be lots of idiots out there if the DS outsold the PSPGuess that's what they call a sucker sell (pictures a lollipop on many heads) |
Hailing all Nairalanders for their opinions, I was a hardcore Nintendo Monk (Until i got baptised in secondary school. My 64 gathers dust in my room as a reminder )I don't know what nintendo's thinking but the fact they haven't eneded up like sega deserves a gold medal (oh, saved by the little children! )Ps 3 will definetly by my bet. So many mature games on it you won't find on Nin's wii (Devil May Cry, Prince of Persia, Greek god of war, etc ), and i got tired of waiting for Link in Zelda to grow (never touched a gamecube) Sony just knows how to do it. Ps2 had probs initially, remember? Oh, stumbled on something rather interesting. the things people will do for a wii! Woman Dies in Wii Contest! http://www.gamespot.com/news/6164191.html?sid=6164191 |
Came across this blog and i believe it would be invaluable for programmers and the like. I've benefited personally from his perspectives on software, software design, the business of software, software management (You know, the way of doing things that save you 1000 lines of code?). here's the link: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/Archive.html let me know what you think ![]() |
it was back in the days when i was in the secondary school. there was this girl i was trying to woo. so one day, the agricultural science teacher told us to get bamboo stems to support yam tendrils in the school farm. this girl then asked for my assistance. i saw this as a chance to play my cards on getting her. i went into the nearest bush and cut 2 heavy bamboo stems. dragging them through the thick maze of undergrowth was one story; the itch the bamboo caused me was another. not to talk of the blazing sun of the dry season that day.lmao!lmao!Dvampire, i feel your pain. i once hired a collegue of mine to draw a larger than A3 size wall potrait of the object of my then ill-fated infatuation (was a killer chick though. alas) somehow the picture "didn't" come out exactly the way i wanted it. Burned a f**king hole in my wallet. all she did was send a one bloody text saying "thanks". wtf? glad i learnt my lesson early though ![]() |
There's a difference between CHRISTMAS and Val's Day, you dork that's why u alwez miss the road, thiefTrue Johnie. My Girlfriend bought me a perfume gift set last val, and we hadn't been that close to justify it. We've bonded ever since. And i intend to outdo her this time around. what's the whole point if it's one sided one way? |
@ echowords have problems accessing vitaanime site. Anyone else know where i can get rmvb anime? for bleach anime in rmvb format (Max file size per episode 40MB) click here: http://saiyanisland.com/si.php?si=media/fullepisodes Happy viewing ![]() Ps: they also have rmvb files for Naruto as well |
So, like, what happens if the relationship doesn't last (God Forbid). Laser Replacement? Painful, literally ![]() |
Read some of his novels. An A class writer. RIP |
what happened to the teddy bear? i still see hot chicks with a life size teddy bear (amazes me how they can go gaga over it.). Anyway it's off the list best bet i've heard? definitely the variety hamper pack. I'll probably add mine with a treasure hunt (not 4 everyone though, but men it packs a punch if you get it right) i think i can relax now. thanks for the info nairalanders! |
-Sexy - Can someone be ugly and sexy at the same time? ![]() -Faithful - keeps the sexy aspect in check -Good at cooking - heh, Rome wasn't built on empty stomachs Weird combination? thought so my self. I can't help but think that the list is devilisly designed. tricky, nice |
i don't blame your sister, CU has become the home of all things anime and manga thanks to a certain 400l cbs student. you should have seen when naruto hit us here 2 years ago. it was like a disease, people stopped coming to class, and those that went started running aroud with their hands flying behind their backs, shouting kage bunshin and the likes.lol. I testify! True! My bro's in CU too. He almost swore he would be wearing gas masks to classes, like it was in the air. It's addictive, if it's your thing though. I've been addicted a dozen times over, only i can't wait a fricking week for one episode anime. By the way, does anybody know where i can get the latest manga on bleach. i stopped at episode 258 and it's been like forever since. what's your fave episode so far? lemme know your thoughts saluting all bleach fans! (exits with shunpo, "flash step" ![]() |
@ Viante nice concept behind your photo. Just inverted it in photo shop to see the real thing. ![]() Anybody finished FF12 yet? Or better yet, how many espers (gurdian forces in ff8) do you command? |
Just finished reading "Soft Focus" By Jane Ann Krentz. It's simply amazing. A recommended read for all thriller veterans

You can check out some of my works at www.semeonline.com |
There it is. The truth, you might not like Haratio Cain (Not sure spelling) but you have to admit that kind of maturity/calmness is only attained by going a lot of mistakes (just that they don't show them ). Remeber his part time nemesis, the serial killer that killed couples and left the children. He messed up with DA (District Attorney)Any way, i love them all. the reall credit goes to Jerry Bruikhiemer (Directior) |
All well said and true. But i think the most painful aspect that when you see your ex with somebody else and you wonder "how could she get over you that fast?". Like "was it even there?" (depends on you sha) |

Fixed the bug, a relative link URL conflict with the forward slash "/". Made it an absolute URL. It's working now. Thanks for the info and feeling the beat ![]() |
@ my2cents, thanks for the reply. as for the major flash file, true, not much could be done concerning optimization. Perhaps i'll replace some of the slides i used. I just tried the illustration section. worked well here. could you give me more info? (flash version, browser you were using when the bug occured, etc) Thanks a lot for the feedback |
I just redisigned my site. All constructive critism are welcome Lemme know what you think |

And i thought i was alone. FF8? the best so far, followed by FF7, although i won't conclude as i'm currently playing FF12, and, MY GOD! i recommend it to every FF fan. The Dialogue/cinematics is Oscar standard (compared to FF8), humor, wit, and of course, the main villian is some form of light-voice inhumane darth vader. (from here onward - - spoiler alert) |
Devil May Cry? Which one? Favorite is DMC3. Followed by the prince of persia trilogy (sands of time, warroir within and the two thrones). And to think the special edition of DMC3 features his brother vergil as a playable character! it doesn't get better than that. (Nobody should shoot me if i haven't finished god of War. some idiot broke it when i was halfway |
I'm interested. How do i get them? What's your price? thanks a million. |
i guess there really isn't much to say to it, is there? Prodgalson nailed it. As for gleyo, the isssue was between fireworks and photoshop, illustrator is good, but i didn't recall emphasizing on it And it's nice to see major people posting on the topic too. Thnaks to all PS: Why was the post relocated? And in another name? |
Nothing to get too carried away about. I'm not saying that PS is bad, I'm just saying i don't see many people use it , let alone well. And that photoshop is more flexible (design wise) than fireworks. The follwing should suffice though: *There aren't much tutorials for Fireworks than Photoshop, although fireworks beats photoshop when it comes to integrated workflow (since almost everybody uses dreamweaver) *besides, you can't use firworks to create Non-regular interfaces like photoshop *Fireworks is easier to use (by far), and pretty good for making buttons, interface, and sometimes layouts. But its not good for making abstracts and effects like the things most people make in photoshop *photoshop is way more powerful in terms of bitmap images etc. but fireworks is the one of the best vector web based graphics program on the market today. but don't take my word for it As my2cents said, most of the people he's worked with since his days use photoshop, and even though he's uses the two, he isn't exactly going to start switching boats. There are loyalists on both sides, and i don't mind a mini war of some sort We live in a world where people expect more (graphically speaking) and at the same time fast service. i can look at a site and tell outright whether they used fireworks or they used photoshop before exporting to fireworks. they go together somehow, i just love photoshop more ![]() But it was from your responses that i did a little diggin, and realised that this sort of photoshop vs fireworks arguement is a very hot issue indeed. I think it wouldn't be a bad thing if i a brought a Photoshop vs Fireworks war, i'll just get credit for it. Everybody wins ![]() And, concerning smartsoft creating a similar layout in Fireworks, lets see it. Mine barly took an hour or two, and to top it, i posted it free in this forum. I'm not bragging |
