sanphem:Hello, Since you have a valid study permit in SA, you can apply for a Canadian study permit from there. Do you have a genuine reason why you're going for another masters after your current masters degree in SA. CIC would normally expect you to show a progression in your study. so, I would suggest you explore the possibility of securing a PhD admission. Your Nigeria bank account statement shouldn't be a problem as long as it is verified by the bank (stamped statement and attached cover letter from the bank). Regards. |

esefrancis: Hello Francis, Sorry about the refusal. You don't have to reapply "sharp sharp". First, you need to request for gcms note. Also, you need to get a new admission letter if the current one is for fall. Ircc will still ask for a new offer letter when they are about to approve your visa for subsequent term. Best. |

reichwolf: Hello; Yea, it is a good sign but not a certainty the person will get the trv. Put in mind that people still get denied after medical mail. The thing is, you have moved a step further as people sometimes get rejected without receiving the medical mail. Best |

Asapant: Hello, Are you talking about Ontario University Application Center?. OUAC gives you access to apply to your school, once your payment has been confirmed. After making payment, you create a profile on ouac. I really cant remember the next step. You will use this ouac to submit your application 1 Like 1 Share |

justkay22: Hello, By "prepared to spend any amount", you just attracted fake agents to yourself. Well, my advise to you is that you should shun any agent and do it yourself. Also, considering your grade from the University, i would say you should consider going for a new undergraduate course, that is if age is on your side. Best 2 Likes |

Lifeof04: Hello, The last time i checked processing time, it was 9 weeks and that was last month. You can apply for your TRV as soon as you get all your necessary documents; admission letter from the school inclusive. They dont keep applications, they start processing as soon as you submit. Applying early would give you the chance of getting your TRV early or also reapplying if denied. I would advise you apply now, if all your documents are ready. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Pesbest: Hello, For the last two parts, as an international student, your wife is eligible to apply for spousal open work permit. This enables her to work in canada while you study. Also, upon completion of msc or phd, youre eligible to apply for a postgraduate work permit which is usually 3 years. .. depending on the duration of your study. Finally, cost analysis can be gotten by simply checking the school web page. Regards. |

drdamy: Hello, IELTS is not required in any canadian institution that i know of. What they normally ask for is TOEFl and its usually waived for nigerians because nigeria is classified as english speaking country. Some schools might still request for it though. 1 Like |

sogima: I do not know if this has been answered. Accommodation is usually shared 3 to 6 bedrooms around the school area with rooms in the basement, ground level and upstair(attic). Houses closer to school are more expensive compared to farther distance from school. A budget of 350 to 450 a month will work fine for accommodation. Except you want to stay alone, you should budget more. There is also the option of getting accommodation on campus. |

mightyola: Hello Mightyola, I will not advise you to do that. Schooling in canada is not any easier. So if you cant get a good grade in your home country, you probably would appear like someone who cant in canada. i would suggest you state other reasons like looking for more skills or knowledge in that particular course. It is just a personal opinion. Best wishes 3 Likes 1 Share |

Prudento: Hello, Before you apply, check the cost of your annual tuition, living expenses and incidental cost, will the 16k cover all? Some schools and programmes are so expensive that 16k is not sufficient for just tuition. Best. |

Osemigho: Hi bro, You are one of the persons that inspired me. Thanks. A quick one for you, one of the conditions on my funding is that, i have a valid study permit during the duration of my studies, if i decide to apply for the express entry and i get it, what happens to my funding? Or is it possible to keep the PR and complete one's study with the study permit? |

Jewel80: Ma, Your parent, sibling, and parent's asset are good enough home ties to get your visa. The asset does not necessarily have to be linked to you. Just show proof it exist and it belongs to your family. You can attach the Certificate of Occupancy, survey plan and valuation of the land. As long as you show enough fund to cover your tuition and living expenses, you should be fine. Also, the job is not a necessary requirement as youre just completing your mandatory NYSC. I just suggested it as a good home tie. Best. 2 Likes |

Jewel80: There are a lot things that can serve as home tie. Anything that will make you want to come home at the end of your study. It could be your parent, siblings, a large sum of money in Nigeria, a business, your parents assets, or a job prospect in Nigeria. The onus is on you to prove its a tie. Best. |
