Just listen to yourself, a few days ago NOI said taxes represent a insignificant contribution to our income as a nation. You think you pay tax? Come to UK and work for one year, drive three cars, then you will know the definition of tax.
You do realize we are talking about a sane banker, wife and nursing mother with her baby with her.

I have just one question: Are you for real?
You see, this is the problem I have with your thinking pattern, so because she is a banker and a nursing mother, then she must innocent. You have a long way to go.
But, I'll let you display this drought of logical reason, cos the media only influences oppinions, judgement still rest with the courts.
That said, I sincerely hope Yinka will be able τ̅☺ prove her innocence, if she truly is. Lessons have been learnt.
It just goes to show you how useless the Nigerian Police are..
Now if this were a civilized Nation, the simple investigation technique would have;
1. Checked the type marks on the body of the victim and compare it to that on the suspects SUV. .
Wrong, there is no way body marks will be compared to the one on the vehicle, the victim could die of shock, bleeding, internal bleeding, broken vesels etc
2. Blood. If the woman ran him over, then there would be blood evidence on the vehicle.
Who says the victim bled to death? When you car hit some, several reasons apart form bleeding could result to death.
3. Damages. The car would sustain damages similar to those on the body of the deceased. .
This your logic is making me laugh, we are talking of car and a human being not a car and a lorry.
4. Eyewitness Testimony: I'm sure that the LASTMA Official wasnt acting alone. If the others there gave false statement to the Police, then I suggest that they be detained for giving misleading testimony. Also they could have asked the people in the vicinity wat happened.
.

Mr man they are all witnesses, let the court decide who is saying the truth
MORAL LESSON!!! Always Take pictures of the crime scene just for cases like this... Some Nigerians including myself had sentenced her to death since!! Thank God for this photo.
Next time a car hit you, bring out your BB and take pictures grin grin grin

aribisala0: We can all see a campaign for what it is ! You post a photo telling this is the vehicle in question and go on to say NO DENT NO BLOOD

Must there be a dent?
Did the deceased bleed at all?.
What was the cause of death.
Was he knocked down and trampled under
We do not know any of this so let us calm down.

We are told he was CRUSHED which could mean anything.

There is no way any sensible person can draw conclusions without listening to testimony from witnesses of which there are some. Any accuesed person should have the opportunity to challenge and cross-examine these witnesses.
All this trial by photo convinces no one.How many deaths by collision and vehicles involved have you studied to pronounce on what the forensic signature of a car involved in a killing must look like.
It is a simple matter.Trial is is COURT and NOT the Internet. Of course she remains innocent until proven guilty.
Guy, you've said it all.

Politics › Re: A Danfo Killed The LASTMA Official. Not The Banker - Eyewitness by wellmax(m): 8:11am On Aug 13, 2012
@Wellmax,

And from the woman's account, she never ran off with her car. If ony that can be proven, it means the police and Lastma are lying.
If the committed the crime, good. But if there is reasonable doubt she didn't, she should not pay for a crime she did not commit.
Personally I'll take the word of ordinary citizens who witnessed the incident over that of Lastma or police officials.
Once again, I'll remind you on the need to focus on issues and not personalities.
That said, you believe the woman's story? hmmm, she never ran off with her car, yet the police had to come before the security men at Okota gate open the gate... Is this logical? If you believe one woman, why would you doubt the police, LASTMA and other well meaning Nigerian at the scene. All you saying the woman is innocent are just doing that because some mischievous persons are sending out some BCs to that effect.
