Family / Re: What Makes A Good Wife? Wife Poll by wendymanda: 5:01pm On Apr 24, 2008
sandra17:

cheesy hello everyone,i`m no Nigeria woman but my husband is Nigerian, please any advice how Nigeria man like to be treated (for him to never get angry with me)?thanks

Its virtually impossible to be in any form of relationship with a person and never have disagreements. Therefore your question is one of those to be cast to the inner abyss, well if you become his mat to walk all over, he might still get angry if you got dirty or showed wear and tear.
Romance / Re: True Love: Can U Marry An Albino? by wendymanda: 4:50pm On Apr 24, 2008
No an albino can't marry you. Such idiotic questions like the one you posed while positing love should immediately make her love for you degenerate to an albino and an imbecilic-slowpoke. I would rather be an albino.

Jokes Etc / Re: BEST OF DJCROOKY by wendymanda: 3:47pm On Apr 24, 2008
djcrooky:

There was a married couple who were in a terrible accident. The woman's face was burned severely. The doctor told the husband they couldn't graft any skin from her body because she was so thin. The husband then donated some of his skin.

However, the only place suitable to the doctor was from his buttocks. The husband requested that no one be told of this, because after all this was a very delicate matter.

After the surgery was completed, everyone was astounded at the woman's new beauty. She looked more beautiful than she ever did before! All her friends and relatives just ranted and raved at her youthful beauty.

She was alone with her husband one day, and she wanted to thank him for what he did. She said, "Dear, I just want to thank you for everything you did for me. There is no way I could ever repay you."

The husband replied, "Oh don't worry, Honey. I get plenty thanks enough every time your mother comes over and kisses you on your cheek!"

Ha. Way to stick it to her.
Politics / Re: Where Is Yaradua by wendymanda: 3:10pm On Apr 24, 2008
Who cares where he is whether or not he is in Nigeria or else wehre isn't it about the same thing? He ends up achieving nothing and making Nigerians look stupid (like so many before him). I think rather than Nigerian newspapers looking into women giving birth to fish and such nonsense they should concentrate on attacking him with questions on how he views his own country's medical system and his betrayal of the afforementioned

Oh I changed it. Does it make sense now?
Music/Radio / Re: Lyrics Or Beats by wendymanda: 10:09am On Apr 24, 2008
For me the beat is what is important because half the time all I hear from the song are the chorus because it is repeated multiple times. Like Umbrella by Rhinna she sounds like a whinning dying puppy but the beat to the song is great.

Chris Rock always sets my teeth on edge but "Kiss Kiss" I like because the beat is grand.
Music/Radio / Re: Who Listens To Enya? by wendymanda: 10:06am On Apr 24, 2008
I do I do I do. I don't think Adiemus is by her. It is rather by an Irish composer who is amazing. If you google the song you will hear and see the actual people that performed it.

Is your cousin still alive after getting shot 4 times? How is such an incident downplayed? Oh the shooting noises in the middle of the night are invisible fire works?

[color=#9900ff]I won't say am a huge fan. I like some of his works mostly for saying things as they were and not backing away from it.

Well I guess I don't watch much of his stuff but since he is one of the few black ones I give him props.

Romance / Re: Why Do We Have More Unmarried Women These Days Than In The Past? by wendymanda: 9:51am On Apr 24, 2008
Common sense is the password. Less women are married its probably because they don't have a man to marry. Women still want to marry even if they are career driven they might just not have children.
Romance / Re: Why Do We Have More Unmarried Women These Days Than In The Past? by wendymanda: 9:37am On Apr 24, 2008
There are more unmarried women these days than the past because there are more unmarried men these days than in the past.

Romance / Re: Flowers ; Does It Mean Anything To You by wendymanda: 9:17am On Apr 24, 2008
[s]I look at the real aspect of things rather than the superficial aspect that we are supposed to adhere.[/s] In saying this flowers is the vagina of the plant so unless there is a deeper meaning to that no they mean nothing to me.
Business / Re: Yar’adua Orders Investigation Of Maltreatment Of Nigerians By Foreign Airlines by wendymanda: 9:03am On Apr 24, 2008
@ outlaws I think that is what Almondjoy is trying to get across and everyone is calling her an assimilationist of the American way. I don't think she is an American want to be had she been she would not give a flying (fill in the blank) about Nigeria. Whenever someone criticizes Nigeria which all other people of other country do of their own country (exception of the crazy part of Korea) they are considered a sellout. The sellouts are those that pretend to care but don't. Rather than implementing a fine on people who don't care why not take care of other pressing matters. The choice can be left to us as to whether we want to fly BA or somewhere else. We should boycott president "Your Idiot" for basically calling the Nigerian health sector slowpoke by going to Ghana. As a person interesting in pursuing the medical field (all Nigerians are) and planning on going back to practice ( all Nigerians claim to be) in Nigeria I think what he is saying is that Nigerian doctors are worthless. If they can't churn out trust worthy doctors then he should implement policies that will force them to.

All in all why go chasing unicorns when we all know they don' exist meaning the BA won't give a sh** if they are fined because we need them more than they need us.

Romance / Re: Do Virgins Make Better Partners? by wendymanda: 12:21am On Apr 24, 2008
@ mystery 1

r u sure that your fiance is a virgin?

hope u don't find out otherwise on your wedding night, cus that your teasing & her returns sound very suspect

If he isn't a virgin then he shouldn't be too disappointed. Being a virgin doesn't mean someone can't tease sexually. You make it seem as if having sex for the first time is the only time someone knows anything about sex.
Music/Radio / Re: ~Raggae ~Dancehall ~Lovers Rock by wendymanda: 12:17am On Apr 24, 2008

I think he further screwed himself on his faith in his own country when he went to Germany to get medical treatment. That action was a slap in the face to the Nigerian people. Sometimes I wonder if these people in power use their brains to think.

reindeer:

Are we still talking about Oga yar'adua ?
The same president who ran to germany for what they told us was 'allergic reaction?
very soon they'll start maltreating us in their hospitals over there! why can't he equip national hospital ABUJA to take care of him?
Its exactly the same way with british airways, lets resuscitate nija airways and we wont have to face their crap!
That is what happens to those who have nothing to maintain self pride, we are so overdependent on oyinbos,we run to their country so we can scrape dollars and pounds to come back and 'oppress'. SHAME!
though the guy try sha, at least he know say wahala dey.

Here here!! but on resuscitating our own airways someone told me that Nigerian air planes are flying coffins so I don't think many people will be flying it. We should still have one in case but I think what British airways did was due to the whole terrorist scare. Everyone is now being super careful.
