A seriously tripping aboki. Hope he realizes that the moment he gets divorced by his wife, he becomes a nobody? ![]() He's letting us know that he is whatever he think he is, by virtue of being an inlaw to the governor. Being an in-law to a governor also guaranteed his job position of "Senior Special Assisitant" |
DesChyko:I tell ya! If she did kill it, then I wouldn't want to cross her in a dark alley. Is she from Delta state? The women from there are very strooong. See her cradle the animal. |
There are times when, only going to extremes can send the proper message. That was one deeply pissed off traveler! |
Sick country. It is apparent in everything: From the security personnel who offered to buy the counterfeit note to the operations manager who couldn't think about confirming your claims first via the CCTV attached to the ATM. I thought these machines can detect fake notes and have them destroyed promptly...? Wont be surprised if a machine in Naija dispenses a blank piece of paper cut to the size of currency notes. |
vjsmiles:It is, indeed. No need to guess. You can see it in the trade mark turbans worn by the bride, and the woman taking a snapshot at the background. That the couple summoned up the guts and kissed in public is a HUGE leap! Awww.....such romance ![]() |
Women from Delta state are amazons! The rider is actually that girl in the middle, who could be no more than a 16 year old! I'm both impressed and appalled. |
Charlatans. Can't really blame them. Poverty and mischief made them employ every means to fleece the unwary. There are tons of gullible folks to keep their worldly ministries in business. |
JESU!!! I just lost every appetite I had before reading this piece. How I wish I had the power of the devil right now. We don suffer for dis country! |
No surprises here, really. The black race still has a long way to go. You can't seriously expect to be treated with respect when we don't care about looking after ourselves first. When our government falls short of expectation, even foreign firms operating on our soil shouldn't be expected to do any better. We still remain our own worst enemy. Arik Airline dare not neglect it's passengers from London the way it shabbily treated it's Nigerian patrons in Lagos. They will get inundated with lawsuits so fast, the airline will need to temporarily suspend it's operations till the mess gets sorted. |
Everything is subjective - meaning, the individual can interpret it in whatever way his mindset leads him. |
I've only seen this happen in foreign movies ![]() If someone happened to have a cam rolling when it happened and caught the incident on tape, maybe them nollywood empty head producers woulda bought the clip to be used in a movie...and save on trying to come up with horrid visual effect. But seriously, this incident is cray. Im just wondering how fast the car was moving when it happened. |
spyder880:Kindly make the plots a bit substantial . I get tired of the 100ft x 50ft that is common in the SE |
Meringe:Pls modify your post. Make it more understandable. Were you trying to specify the distance required for siting structures close to water or drainage? |
Nutase:You are obviously a newbie here. Just watch, learn, and more important, be a part of it. Spyder880 has nothing to prove. |
Home, sweet hospital. He probably gets better care from the hospital and felt more at home there, than he did at his house. I bet he would still sneak back there after a few weeks, with bigger chains! |
spyder880:Confirmed. That experience was a learning curve. The way you handled it was very commendable. Just shows the level of care one must take when handling land issues in Nigeria. We got nowhere else to go, other than take forward steps....let's go there! |
spyder880:Then get down to business fast. I was praying that you would settle for this property then. That river nearby is a big plus. Not just as a source of water for building, but it can add a great aesthetic value when it's banks are properly managed and developed to serve as a resort for the proposed estate. We don't seem to appreciate the value of clean and natural bodies of water around residences in Nigeria. Make very careful and deep inquiry to ascertain that it's free from every encumbrance, please. |
Spyder880, If im not mistaken, this is the land that is bordered by a river, one of which you inspected last year, right? Pics of the river below..

The 3 most important things Naija politicians consider are: 1. Their stomach 2. How they will fill, and continue to fill their stomach (It has no breaking point) 3. Who to support to ensure their stomach never goes flat (six pack? Nah...that's for "poor", hustling men. Their main stomach, spare stomach and reserve stomach must be perpetually filled, so backing the candidate who will ensure this, is paramount) What they say isn't important, so long as it will ensure their stomach gets filled. So, their word means absolutely nothing Doubt this? Ask Femi Fani Kayode ![]() |
Mynd44:Of course, genius, they are in-built. Never said otherwise. After decades of use, and with the aircraft finally getting passed off to local domestic operators, who don't really pay much attention to routine maintenance, you don't really expect every component of the aircraft to work, do you? Haven't you heard about cases where the air-condition didn't work during an entire flight? Wasn't the AC "in-built" too? |
Im pleasantly surprised that the oxygen masks were able to deploy. Med-View.....the airline of Nigeria ![]() When the agency that ought to regulate and inspect aircraft airworthiness are in cahoots with these airlines, don't expect much improvements. Aircraft on their last leg are bought and sent into Naija for it's final journeys. |
The military and BH are taking turns to use them. Once the military gets bored, they allow BH to "borrow" the weapons Next, the military forcefully recover them once it seem that BH is getting over excited with the weapons... The weapons get damaged during this recovery exercise, and the government is obliged to provide replacements. And the cycle continues....with mounting civilian casualties. ![]() |
lokito:Surprisingly, men who rape have it easier under these barbaric laws. I once read that if the woman victim cannot produce 3 or 4 witnesses to confirm the incident, then the rapist is not penalized! Can you beat that? I won't be surprised if no man received any punishment for this crime. Women are usually accused and penalized for unwittingly tempting and seducing men. But men don't often get punished for falling for it. Women suffer terribly under sharia law. |
Seriously? That building is a night club? What kind of people go there? |
It might get stained before it gets dry. That way, the stain is on the inside, and you may not need to wash again. |
Abagworo:Nwanna, where is this place? Pls describe how I can locate it. Would like to visit there ASAP |
There is ALWAYS a logical and scientific explanation to every sort of magic trick. In this case, I believe that the bus is a part of the trick. Some hidden mechanisms in the bus aided it. Im thinking of something that could generate electromagnetic force fields, with similar, but smaller devices hidden under the "magician's" clothes and in his shoes, to create a repulsion to the generated force from the device in that bus. This in turn generates the force which elevates the trickster. If he is asked to perform this trick without the bus parked anywhere near him, he would likely decline to. Im just guessing, but the method employed wouldn't be far from this. |
When Africans got bitten by tse-tse flies, the parasite transmitted got lodged in their genes. They keep passing it down to subsequent generations...... It turned out that once a black man sits still on a plush seat, in an air-conditioned environment..... The parasite goes into overdrive! The result is what you see above. Africans on sleep conference since Mungo Park discovered the source of river Niger! ![]() |
What part of Nigeria is this? I don't think it's circulated around the country that much The answer they gave to the number 1 question is almost an outright lie. The comment he made about his support for sharia, and the effort he is going to make to ensure that it gets implemented across the country is on record, and available on print. It was published on newspaper pages then. Picture extracts of it has been made available on this forum too. I don't want to read the rest of their denials, if they already started the image laundering with lies. A statement he didn't know would come back to bite him where the sun don't shine. It's a pity that religion couldn't be divorced from our politics. GMB is a credible candidate, but I think his campaign handlers are biting off more than they can chew. Let them face topical issues instead. What comments GMB made cannot be unmade. What he believes in is a whole lot different from his comments, and his open view about sharia. |
euromilion:You are right. I was about to make this comment too. I have fenced some of my projects, and I keep getting arbitrary quotes. It occurred to me, there should be a standard way of calculating the amount of materials required. I am going to make a copy of this, print and laminate it! ![]() Some of the masons I hired love to argue. They will tell you that the job doesn't get done by simple arithmetic. Well, the truth is, simple arithmetic/calculation/estimation is the bedrock of building and other technologies. A thousand thanks for this posts! |
Just shows you that politicians can go anywhere in search of voters. If it wasn't for the approaching elections, this visit wouldn't happen. The same Maiduguri/Bornu where the entire country had cried itself hoarse for him to show his presence, to let the inhabitants know he's in charge? |
Even though it's such a despicable act, I must confess, I admire that guy's guts Such a smooth criminal ![]() And such gullible victims! |
