bluespice: if she sues him to court its possible she gets away scot free
she can claim he was aware, forced her to have the property in both their names while refusing to include hers in his
He can claim he never knew about his condition, and if he can prove it medically, her case is as good as useless. If she decides to divorce him, then she'll go with less than a million pounds after settling the lawyers and legal fees e.t.c. This is why it is good to test drive the motor before purchase. . . especially where goods purchased cannot be returned
Secretz: Call her and say what EXACTLY That you're his wife? ehen? and then what? she already knows!
YOU ARE MARRIED TO HIM!!! So for now you are tied together, until you decide to die-vorce!
Please abeg! Come correct and use sense to deal with this situation! Wait for him to come back to US and them GBAM! You will make all the necessary arrangements, if you get my drift!
LMAO
Get into the next airplane to naija, go and claim your husband
bluespice: what if she comes with all that and is pretty will u reject her?
God did not give it all to one person, there must be a flaw - look carefully and u'll find it. She may be all beauty but no brains, or she's all packed up but has an offensive odour, there's always a catch
Guys can afford not to date pretty women, their stress is too much and beauty is something that gets into a woman's head too much. I'd rather a girl who's smart and mature, someone who can add to me and not someone who will bring me down
vivaladiva: u girls having these problems, i cant marry a person who hasnt left the shores of nigeria for more than five years. trust me there are enof nigerian boyz in uk looking for wives, the problem is una naija girls too they pretend.
bluespice: thats true but from the story, the woman seems like a questionable character why impose a restriction order on the man, refuse him access to his kids and live in his house with ur current boyfriend all because he raped u . . . naw she has somn fishy about her
Seun: @whitelexi: (1) The case of a man falsely accused is different from the case of someone who actually assaulted his wife. (2) Criminals never admit to their crimes. Unless you were there, you can't say he didn't do it.

lizzy A: @ whitelexi,i never said i wanna call cops becos i dont want 2 spoil his career wit bad CRB record.
@Post: People get beaten everyday in naija, i even have oyinbo neighbours who fight like every night and they dont call the cops. . . Why is our own different??
lizzy A: I had no choice then becos d suffering was too much 4 me when i was in nigeria,am d last born of my family,my mum is an old woman and my elder ones are not really well to do,so travelling out then was d best thing dat happened to me and my family.
bluespice: whitelexi cover ur face in shame if u dont think a wife-beater is a criminal, one that beats his wife so much that she dislocates her shoulder, refuses her access to her parents, refuses her access to her self-earned work-pay, and above all refuses her the right to travel and be independent by seizing her passport for no reason
if u dont call this slavery, pray tell, mr nice guy what u would call this?
advanced form of love? the isolation of the loved one from the evils of independence and social interactions ?
All i'm saying is, u never know until u hear the entire story! Read my initial post.
lizzy A: Imagine a guy dat took me away frm poverty, when i couldnt afford to pay my school fees back then in nigeria,i just pray things will work out for good,i have seen what they call poverty dats why am still very grateful 2 him to dis day but i have no choice but 2 move on,atleast i can be justified 4 leaving him
The dude is a monumental ass**** for laying his filthy hands on u, he is not a mature man - thats for sure. He appears to be a control freak, and thats just unacceptable in this day and time. However, i will advise u not to get the cops involved. . . I say this because i witnessed something very similar to this like 3yrs back when a grown naija man in his 50s was shedding tears in my office [my boss's friend]. He had lost his house, car, business, everything. . . He even had a 300 meters perimiter restriction from his house and kids. He came to beg my boss to offer him the security-man's post, he didnt mind starting from scratch - living in a £50 p/week rentage. . . What was the cause of it all, his wife called the cops and said he raped her, he said it was a lie - they had only made love like husband and wife and he only went in to clean up when she phoned the cops.
She lives with her boyfriend in his house today, and those kids have no respect for anyone as a result.
For God's Sake, she can leave the guy, but why get the cops involved? Do u know what it means to have a criminal record in this Country? Do u know what it means to have your name on the criminal database that is accessed by european and American nations?? The dude has got u over here, given u a roof over your head and all u do is provoke him (As u rightly used in the initial post!). If u know he beats u up and u dont want to leave him, then why provoke him? If u know what u do that provokes him, then why do it?
That guy is someone's child as well, he has people depending on him back home. . . A poor mother and some siblings too! If he's disrespecting u, then LEAVE him and move on! Dont ruin somebody else's future and life because u provoke him and he beats u the hell up pls.
If u want to speak with your family, go to a pay phone! They are everywhere, borrow £5 coins and ask your mum or dad to call u instead, give them your mobile number! Involve family if u want, involve friends, but not the cops pls. . . If thats not an option, buy a £5 call card and use a Land phone at your work place to call naija, it is allowed if u speak with your boss!
Dont call the cops, shit gets escalated when it hits the fan. . . Even u are not safe when the cops step in. They'll just push u to press charges, then when he's gone to jail, what will u do?
What sort of papers did he even process for u? What status do u currently have? can u work?
ZAINABABY: Of the three years we have been friends, we appear to be the best for each other. A couple of weeks ago, he invited over a friend (male) of his to my house and we all went on an outing together. After that his friend became a regular caller to my house and not only that, night calls and sms become frequent too.I remember on a few occassions when i told my boy friend that his friend likes talking/communicating to me but in each occassion his response was' too positive' and kept me surprised. What prompted me to bring this to nairaland is what happened this previuos evening. My boyfriend met his friend in my apartment in such a suspicious atmosphere and mood that even I myself was afraid of(note that I never and had no intentions to give in ) but to my chargrin my boyfriend maintained perfect politeness towards us ( his friend and I ) I swear, no boyfriend could have tolerated such a scene. I am now in quandary as in whether this is a display of maturity, trust, love, gang/set-up or if you call it simply being neutral is such neutrality not being inimical to our love and future plans? PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF ALL THESE!!!!!!!!
Its a tough call, perhaps u can give us the exact words he used when responding to the areas i've highlighted above and we can make an organised guess as to what was going through his mind.
Kentr0: I met my girl in a tutorial class and we hav been 2gether 4 3yrs nw bt i never knew she has a twin until last sunday. And i made love to two of dem witout knwin who is who. Pls tel me wat should i do.
