What Nigeria needs desperately is population control, all this IGR stuff can never keep up with the babies this country keep producing

US and the west took a unilateral decision without UN approval to invade iraq.

At the end no WMD was found any where in iraq and nobody was prosecuted for such lies and death of innocent iraq civilians.

At the end The human, and economic cost of such war drove america Into recession twice and yet nothing changed rather the world became even more dangerous for everyone.

The west intervention in syria was to create perfect corridor to stealing iraqi and syrian oil through turkey.

They created isis to facilitate that agenda.

Russia realize that it's a danger to world peace if they allow the west to succeed in syria to create such corridor of smuggling oil to the west and they started their intervention in syria bring an end to crisis in the middle east.

Turkey later realize that they are been played by the west by promise of joining nato but the west was arming turkey enemies in north syria which are the PKK this was the turning of events in the senseless wars caused by the west for selfish reason.


Turkey started intervention in libya for same reason of not allowing the west to steal libya oil.


Well while america and west were focused on destroy the middle east which affects both dir economy and military china on the other side has gain alot on the world stage and now boosting the largest economy and military in the world.


The rise of china is the beginning of sense for america.

This is why they want to end all wars and focus on building both economy and military because china has start projecting dir dominance on the world stage.

The fact that he has the means doesn't mean he has to give birth to numerous children, he can adopt some of the almajiris in his home state, invest in other people's education so many things. He comes from a very privileged family with their wealth tied to public funds (sometimes favors due to their royalty)

The problem with Africans is an inability to conceive what future you're living for your children and children's children and descendants to inherit. Maybe instead of "born as much as you can take care of", you should focus on "born as much as our society can take care of". You're not going to build the infrastructure or provide the services that will take care of the exploding population. It's why people like my father schooled in UNN with 2 people assigned per hostel room and food vouchers paid off by the government among other goodies and privileges while people like me were in a room of 6 people (minus squatters) in the same UNN hostels with crumbling infrastructure all over the place. You're not going to clean up the environment and waterways that the exploding population will pollute. You're not going to arrest the ecological damage and threats to the ecosystem of the exploding population.

It's why I laugh when oyinbos are talking about climate change and environmental conservation. They can't seriously talk about those things without getting Africans to stop breeding like rats.

How do I like this a hundred times, I recently observed that most Nigerians talk mostly based on their emotions and what they see within their reach discarding facts and the wider scope of issues

I still don't understand the obsession of having plenty of children in Africa as a whole despite the high level of poverty and other negative situations. I observe people talking about giving birth to plenty of children if you have the resources - that's plain selfish if you have plenty of resources you can decide to help others, donate to charity, help in funding scientific research, etc. life is not just about giving birth to babies. The advanced countries we all envy with high social benefits don't go about giving birth to children because they are rich, cos they understand the whole continuous economic prosperity does not exist, the earth alone is already overpopulated, we humans are not the only species in the world - ask yourself when last you saw butterflies if you live in big cities like Lagos. Giving birth to children is not just about you, its the road they will use, the new schools that need to be built, the jobs to accommodate the population, land to cultivate enough food for everybody without destroying the ecosystem, etc.

Yes the leader has great vision, but without the oil luck (very tiny population with very huge oil resource - over 80% of people living in UAE are foreigners) UAE will still be very poor, no single innovation from the indigenous people, just spending oil money on huge construction (construction led by mainly smart white people). Nigerians are not smart the fact that we can't even choose our best in the various sectors in Nigeria proves it.
