justwise: Some of you are good at making things up, was this targeted at Nigerians alone?£3K was suspended since and its because we stood aginst it. Fine they are free to have health protection rules but i dont surport going to a uk desgnated place in my contry to pay more than what it should cost. That is what am aginst. |
justwise: I think carefully before leaving Nigeria to any country because you might end up wasting that money. That as it may be. Its worth thinking but at the same time i know of students that schooled in Germany' and they are far competitive interms of out put and they both speak german and english language and can tell you they are verry good enginers today. |
miz Gene: Exactly which of the tb tests is it? Der r different tests, am sure your wife was referring to sputum AFB which is the cheapest, but there are others like PCR, quantiferon, chest xray etc which are more expensive doh nowhere near 20k ( not sure of PCR though). I expect it might be d more expensive ones cos even for AFB u r sposd to bring 3 samples of ur sputum on three consecutive mornings so am pretty sure dy won't be using ds method.Even at that.its Nigeria they can exploit. I checked this also for china. They didn didnt use one center as a place of testing but sevral other centers locally. If goverment hospital labs cant be trusted i know of far better labs in nigeria with international ratings that can handle testing and will never be up to $130. This is big scam us. And come to think of it People going to the uk for less than six months are xempted so thoes ones cant spread tb? Let them continue. No wonder other eu contries are already making a booIII mm from educational tourisim. |
Anually the Nigerian student contributes over £1millon to Britain's economy. If i spent over two decades of my life learning and using a white man's language as my first language and that same white man tells me to pay $145 to be tested in that same language am typin on now to comunicate and also to pay them $130 for health check. At this point i dont mind collecting my tuition fee back going to a contry where i have to first learn their language for a year and follow my coutse of study in their languge which i know is far better than his mess one white english man is offering. |
miz Gene: if that is the case we should all go through that same process. And if we have to take any test from Nigeria it should be done at our government hospitals like luth or lasuth. Not at their own center. My wife is a medical doctor and i called her up this morning to enlighten me better and she told me the test just cost about 1k or so. So why will they tell me to go pay $130 for that test. That is really bad. |
mrkossy: the link posted is not a ukba site its another kind of link like that not ukba site. |
] i am also yer to seeNigeria on that list oo. Nigeria is not a tb prevalence contry and i know for sure that if all tier 4 applicants are tested it will be verry difficult to get 1 out of 100 with tuberculosis. This is another scam on Nigerians by the british goverment. Two yers ago it was english language test now for us whoes first and official language is english and to top it all a British colony. If Jamaica could be exempted from english languge test i wonder why Nigeria should be on that list. If they were to be sincere with them selfs is Nigeria rated by the WHO as a tb nation? And why do i have to get tested and pay in their own specified organization? Too many questions begging for answers. The british government is takng us for a ride. 22K plus visa fee of 80k plus meaning its a 122k t there about for student visa application and still didnt mention the pearson test of english language fee of 30k plus. So a total of 150k plus is needed to make a tier 4 application. The British government is in no way bettter than the Nigerian goverment in terms of making life difficult for people. Didn't tbey realize that we tier 4 students contribute to their economy due to educational tourisim. Things has really got to change as we can not continue to be exploited like this. Did not see nigeria on the list too.
|
I have checked the ukba website and i dont seem to find any where nigerian tier 4 aplicants had to take tb testing. And if one must a test i dont i have to go and pay any stupid organization 22k for a tb test. For me its my millons am paying to their economy. If their wahala is gettng too much i will rather collect my full tition back and and apply else where. |

Pls @ whate exvhange rate rate were you charged? That is what rate was used in the tuition fee payment. |
danny4sure: bunburized
ok,the account u run with ur ATM card is it domicilary acct or Naira account for u to be able to pay for ur tuition online? I don't think its easy paying full tuition fee using your Nigerian ATM visa or master card. I have been having issues with mine paying a tuition fee of about £6000. The finance department told me my card declined up to five different times in different days. After full investigation with the bank I found that the quarterly limit for the Nigerian ATM master card or visa card Is $5000 so it is impossible to pay full tuition using Ngerian visa or master debit card except if the card is linked to a domiciliary account then on that you can be able to pay full tuition fee using that without the $5000 limit. In my own case I had to go for transfere option since I am not ready to open a domiciliary account. But I got a fair rate from thw bank two days back of £265.5 to a NIra and paid the normal charges then i am done. Its really the safest means to pay tuition. |
Thanks. Iafter all delibrations with my school they finally agreed to use the debit card payment system.but I don't expect the card rate to be @266 NIRA to a pound using that meghod . that's really bad of banks in Nigeria. I don't see their function in rendering proper good services that over all pays their customer. royalsweetness: I paid with my GTB debit card at the beginning of this week, and I was charged 266 naira per GBP, it broke my heart. Not such a money-wise option afterall |
@house what is the best way to pay tuition fee payment. The banks in Nigeria sucks. Buying pounds sterling @265 is too expensive . what can I do I want to make my tuition fee payment to my school.how best can I do this with out putting a hole in my pocket. |
@ house. Pls does anyone know the standard exchange rate value on the oanda currency converter the ukba uses to convert the funds on our bank stament during visa application. I.e is it the inter bank rate or typical ATM rate or typical kiosk rate. Cos I want to be sure of funds to be in NIRA value on my account. |
miz Gene: Hv u checked to see if ur result is still available online?I have checked it now It's back online. Which means It's still valid. |
What is going to happen. To those of us who took our test last year And got the original report. Sent over via normal post? A test taken already. Since. Last year August. Is expected to last for 2years. |
You have to also have the bank stamp on the online bank statement you provide as the tier 4 immigration rule applies. justwise: if the one online contains all the standard info of bank statement then use it else print from your bank branch |
since you have been issued CAS on the basis of your document submitted to your school.its still a ukba requirement to that you have to take a SELT to prove English language proficiency since you are from a non majority English language country therefore they could suspend the CAS you are been given. just take the test and pass. |
djunit1:you have a point there about asians indians etc as they are also faceing thesame problems and with Gods favour anything can happen. the school i applied to came to Nigeria and they were at the embassy and they told them lots of rubish about the Nigerian student seeking F1 visa. infact they were told not to issue I20S |
imperiouxx:my guy forget that one the black guy doesnt want to give the visa out. he has started adiopting the short white lady's principle. amd by the way he is going for an under graduate course. I am still saying it that if a guy that could not express him self properly in english language could get an F1 visa then i know all we go there to yalk about to the vo is notthing. the truth is that many Nigerian student are much in the united states whom did not report nor attend thier proposed school for studies. that is why they willl ask have you travelled out before? to be sure you are not one of thoes seeking f1 visa to enter the us and run away. |
Tittolala:pls house, dint talk like that. the guy gave his best and he took the SAT test and he was OK in my own opinion as he wasn't questioned much and haven been denied once or so don't expect the consular to ask much from him. the truth of the matter is the united states embassy in Nigeria here are not for now ready to issue much student visas at all. But for exceptional cases like special programmes like MSC, PHD in top graded institutions etc. many students in 2010 on F1 student visa don't or did not report to school after their arrival in the united states. some of them attend 1 semester and disappear in to tin air. they have all their facts and figures. i have been to Lagos and Abuja before i know how both operates. that is why they will ask'' have you traveled out before'' if they note that you are ok as per the detailed information you gave. if as of july 2010 a guy that can not really express himself could get an f1 visa then notthing is special about the interview, |
Dis Guy:that is just it. even with all documents they just act anyhow. its a 101010100101 anyway. but it would have been nice and stright foward having something like the pbs in place. |
In my own opinion i think the united states should consider adopting the point based system of immigration policies where every thing is been on point.it would be rather fair on applicants for the purpose of visas. i like the uk teir 4 policy it is self explanatory for students visa and easy on the side of genuine applicant as many as of today got their visas to study. |
darkman200:our leaders are resisting change and if you there try to change anything then you will be witch hunted. |
i honestly gained alot from the tread and i dont belive it should be locked all because of some uncultured and uncivilized individuals who are bent on making things go the way it went. the modrator should only block thoes guys from posting any thing on the tread. the tread helped me to prepared for my interview and answer many question i would have love to ask, infact i was preaty informed about all i needed to do and how to go abouth it.pls modrator i will like to plead on behalf of all Nigerians who are on the tread and are still benefiting from it for you to pls restore the tread back.i have told friends about it and how post of questions and answer could help anyone going for interview and all the schooling processs in the united states. This tread has touched my life in a positive way, although i was refused visa but still that tread kept my faith going.it will be verry unfair and a hasty step to lock the tread because of some few pepole who are uncultured. please reopen the tread in God's name as i, we all need informations. thank you. |
The UK government makes millions of pounds from Nigerians each year fro student that's desire better and qualitative education there by making a policy that the UK will always remain a place were foreign student with high intelect will be allowed to stay in to develop their enterprenural skills and ideas. The question is what is Nigerian government doing about this? the educational system is decapitated and overstretched there by living them with poor and substandard graduates who can not stand the international pressure of a standard education. |
I as person will migrate due to poor educational facilities and lack international endorsement of the qualifications obtained form the contry called Nigeria. i will still keep hope alive but 2020 is not realistic or can be archived with the present status GDP. at the momenti will classify Nigeria as a failed state due to the inability to invest in its people. Nigera practices an educationl system that is outdated, a nation with just 1 admission in to higher education in a year. there by living the delapitating sector overstreched. |
@ erico2k2.abi o. dont mind them jare the poster will never look at the issue from both differen angles. he talks about 500k Nira and other stuffs without talking about the job opportunities associated with getting the 500k to start a business. he talks as if there are credit facilites in the contry Nigeria needed to drive SMEs of today. as if there are basic ammenities to drive potentials in Nigeria and proprer policies and framework to take Nigeria to where it is needed to be. he as failed to say that its is the duty of the goverment to use the resources to build its citizenry there by setting out abetter future for all. |
@justwise, you have spoken the main word about where you call home. anyone came make it anywere provided he or she See's the chances abound.in place of no chances migration to another part of the world is justified. what i can only emphasize on is that no matter where we find our self's lets not forget where we come from and have a belief of collective responsibility to add ones quota to where he or she comes from.for me there is notting bad in travelling abroad if indeed there is a good reason to go out there. western education pays allot rather than the fallen standard and outdated forms of education in Nigeria.basic amenities is not left out i this matter.a place you call home with no basic necessary amenities to drive potentials will equally kill them.a nation that will not invest in its people will not or may get little from its citizenry. for instance if a Nigerian gives birth in the united kingdom, automatically becomes a citizen and he or she well caterd for by the policies been in place where future of the said child is guaranteed with all it takes to be worth a successful individual in life. so @ Mr poster, notting of your said magnitude can be done without the enabling environment with the right policies and proper legal framework to drive our nation to the china and America of today.the thing is Nigerian leadership is filled with high greed. if those nations you mention were as Nigeria their nation will not be the way it is and we will not want to go there.Nigeria of today can never be in recession because they have not invested in its people in anyway with the aboundant resources piling billions of dollars and yet the people are still poor. all these are enough to migrate. but i will say when anyone migrates to the other side they should try do something home as we are thinking people with entrepreneurial skills needed to drive the nation. that is my contribution. |

i have sent you a mail via your website. if indeed you are genuine i am intrested in your services and i have people whom will be intrested in doing business with you. but i will like to say that on the student level no upfront payment untill visa is out and confirmed then you can get 100% payment since the intended student must have gotten admission later and confirmation latter.so waht is just needed is just the visa suporting document such as the confirmable bank statement neeed for the UK student visa application. |
[How can you say that with a Georgian student visa, a student is at liberty to travel to any part of the world?! Did you even bother to read what you wrote before posting?! Yes, Georgia may belong to the EU, hence a student may be able to use their visa to travel within the EU for no more than 90 days, but saying that a student can travel to any part of the world with it is just being plain deceitful. quote]

. i talk am oo. this Nigerians self dem think say we go school we no sabi anything at all. my guy you na embassy wey you dey give 100% gurantee for visa. pls try next time to come up with another format as this one don expire eversince christal scammers don use that format before. niraland is a aite that you can have different user name to do or say or advertise any of your latest formats. |
