1. Massive youth unemployment
2. Lack of basic infrastructure in the crude oil producing community

TALIBAN GOVERNMENT IS KNOWN FOR THE WRONG THING.

It is as if they came to make life miserable for the ordinary afghan.

Since they took office from the fleeing Pro-western government they have not talked about how to revamp the economy of Afghanistan.

How to establish ties with foreign government around the world especially africa.

They just carry KALASHNIKOV gun threatening the shii..t of anyone who stood against them.

For how long are they going to go with this TERRORIST STYLE OF HOLDING THE NATION to ransom.

The killings of the new security employee by the sacked security man did not change the story but made it worse as he will face murder trial that could led him to being hanged or serve long term jail.

He should have MOVE ON with a new life allowing bygone be bygone.

People should learn to control their emotion.

In this 21st century, nations and their people still behave like BARBARIANS.

The white rascist rule in south africa during the time of apartheid was condemned round the world and the Botha government was isolated by many nations that also imposed economic sanction.

Nations across the continent should isolate the Taliban government and put pressure on them to change from the barbarian system.

Why are they celebrating the exit of the western countries that spent 20 years to build their country?

Foreign Affairs › Re: Former Translators Who Helped British Troops Left Behind In Afghanistan(Pix) by wink2015(m):
It is a betrayal of trust by the western countries such as Britain.

Even if it is a mistake, error, omission or commission on the part of the British government to have left him behind this actions needs to be corrected immediately to serve future effective collaboration effort both at governmental level, individual level.

History will always repeat itself and it might not go well for Britain if they USE THIS POOR INTERPRETER and leave him back home to be murdered by the Taliban terrorist government.

The British government can help him settle in neigbouring countries or arab countries such as Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Algeria, Morocco, UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and also fund his stay there.

It does not have to be taken to the United Kingdom.

He can easily adapt to the cultures in the neigbouring countries that border Afghanistan.

When situation changes back home he will then return.

I think it is improper for the British to abandon the Interpreter back home where he faces the risk of execution by the Taliban for the role he played in helping the occupying western forces.

If the British government or any western forces failed to rescue him he can smuggle himself through the border and enter neighbouring countries.

I think the western countries occupying forces did not factor a lot of things right before leaving Afghanistan.

PRESIDENT BIDEN OF THE UNITED STATES AND PRIME MINISTER BORIS JOHNSON MADE THEIR OWN MISTAKES GIVEN THE SUDDEN POOR PULL OUT.

The pull out exercise should have been strategic no matter the financial cost to their government.

They should have remain in the country while they put things right that will carry all stake holder who help them during their stay in the country not only their military or civilian national and their family members.

I blame governor Lalong and Buhari for the poor handling of the crisis in Plateau state.

But where is General Yakubu Gowon ( rtd ) in all the events happening in Plateau state?

He had sermonized "ONE NIGERIA" throughout his public life describing it in the sense that KEEPING NIGERIA ONE IS A TASK THAT MUCH BE ACHIEVED.

Now that Fulani are destabilizing his state he should not be keeping quiet.

REGIONAL COUNTRIES LIKE PAKISTAN INDIA, IRAN, UZBEKISTAN etc should play an integral role in serving as a recieving point to receive fleeing afghan who are afraid of the Taliban.

Every afghan should not think they should go to the europe or other western countries their own regional neigbour can play significant role in bringing peace to afghanistan.

PAKISTAN, INDIA, IRAN, UZBEKISTAN should open their road border with Afghanistan.

Families can relocate to neighbouring countries through road.

Must every Afghan leave by airport?

Many of these guys are looking for ways to enter the western countries for economic reasons not just the Taliban threat to their lives.

I must commend the United States, Britain for the role they have played in bring peace and stability to Afghanistan despite the shortfall.

Indisciple in the judiciary is becoming a norm in Nigeria.

We should pray for God intervention in the life of Nigeria going by the way events as it relates to our national life is being played out here in Nigeria.

A judge in Rivers state gives judgement and judge of the same level in Kebbi state gives a counter judgement paving the way for two pdp chairman to hold the same office.

IS THAT NOT KATA KATA FOR NIGERIA at a time we are facing insecurity challenges and economic crisis ?

Komu1048:
Go learn handwork and thank me later. No job anywhere
There are jobs but the will power to create these jobs is not there and that is where I stand here to draw the attention of Nigeria leader to their responsibility.

If you follow their speeches closely you will notice all the promises they made that they will revamp Nigeria 's economy.

But when they get to power they do a different thing.

The youth must not allow the leader to continue to let this nation down they must continually reminds the leader of their responsibilities.

I refuse to accept the fact that there are no job anywhere.

That is not true.

There are job but the system of government that the leader practise make jobs unavailable and that is where the youth should continue to challenge the leaders to its responsibilities.

NIGERIA YOUTH SHOULD NOT FAIL IN THIS REGARD.

Use your vote to bring the needed change that will drive the economy of Nigeria to prosperity.

Majority of the people in Nigeria are youth and they can bring the needed change if they are determine to actualise that objective.

These guys should come with INDUSTRIALIZATION master plan for Warri.

Youth unemployment cries to the HIGHER HEAVEN IN WARRI and other parts of Delta state despite the crude oil the state is producing for the federation account.

Companies sneak into Warri enter offshore and do their business and sneak out without carrying the people along.

Warri need industries especially those manufacturing industries one can find in the south east and Lagos state that will change the economic life of the people.

The Warri seaport is presently not adding much value to the social life of the people in Warri because of the federal government preference of using the Lagos seaport to the disadvantage of the port in Warri.

The Ibori boys of the PDP that have ruled Delta state for over 15 years have destroyed the economy of Warri and looted the state to CARCASS.

ALL ABOUT WARRI IS " SUFFERING AND SMILING" according to Fela.

Politics › Re: Miyetti Allah To Southern Governors: We Won’t Recognise Your Anti-Grazing Policy by wink2015(m):
Miyetti Allah is stating that they are not ready for peace by their statement of not recognizing the anti open grazing laws.

I am happy that guys like Ex- President Olusegun Obasanjo and General Yakubu Gowon ( rtd ) are seeing the problem of being in one Nigeria under the present federal system.

OBASANJO AND GOWON SERMONIZED THIS ONE NIGERIA TO THE EXTENT THAT IT BECOME OUR SECOND NATIONAL ANTHEM.

Now the problem of that so called ONE NIGERIA is beginning to surface while the leaders that preached it are aging and in a few years they will die natural death and leave the problem for young upcoming Nigeria to face.

Southern Nigeria allowed the core north to depend on crude oil money for so long that they now want to add ancestral land and water that belong to the indigenous community in the south to the demand of the fulani.

SOUTHERN GOVERNORS SHOULD NOT BE DELAYING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RESOLUTION ON OPEN GRAZING THAT THEY TOOK AT ASABA, DELTA STATE.

IT IS THIS DELAY THAT IS GIVING THE FULANI HERDSMEN A MIXED SIGNAL THAT THE LEADERS IN THE SOUTH ARE FEARFUL, DISORGANISED AND DISUNITED.

I wish to commend Rivers state governor Nyesom Wike, and Bayelsa state governor, Douye Diri for quickly implementing the anti open grazing resolutions in their respective states.

Fulani are traditionally stubborn people by nature and they need HOT HAND and HOT HEAD LEADERS FROM THE SOUTH TO DEAL WITH THEM.

IMAGINE CONTESTING LAND AND WATER THAT YOU DO NOT OWNED.

Then what is the use of the land use decree being administered by the state governor on behalf of their state.

Another Osama bin laden will be groomed to cause problem that will threaten the interest of the united States and other western powers.

Rather than rushing out of Afghanistan the west should station a US military base somewhere around Pakistan, India or Bangladesh or the UAE, Oman.

From that base their military will be watching events in Afghanistan.

If they observe a terrorist threat they respond immediately.

Politics › Re: Open Grazing Ban: Southern States Set To Miss Sept 1 Deadline by wink2015(m):
AnanseK:
I agree with you about the need to modernize animal rearing away from open grazing for many reasons including the ones you listed.
But people are creating the impression that Fulani herders are there to confiscate and own land perhaps as certified owners, which is not true.
In the past the nomads had country owned land mapped out for them to graze their cattle. Government owned land, not farms or individual privately own lands. This was interpreted as common good , the same as the government build roads for people move with their goods and to travel in conducting their businesses. In those days , cattle tax was paid to the Government per head of cattle.

The impasse about rearing of cattle can be unraveled and dealt with sensibly for the benefit of all, if the goodwill was there. Threatening fire and brimstone by politicians just to impress the masses cannot be the way for progress.

The outright ban on open grazing in specific sections of the country, and without any national plans for herding animals will, rightly or wrongly attract economic retaliations. There is wisdom in discussions and building a consensus.
The largest landmass is in the northern part of Nigeria.

The herdsmen should restrict themselves to the core north especially to states they are indigenous to.

The landmass in the south is not so large and with the economic problem in Nigeria many people are taking up farming as a means of livelihood.

Where then is the land to accommodate herders in the south?

Settling fulani herdsmen in Southern Nigeria is unsustainable and dangerous to the peace of the land especially given the killings that Nigeria had witnessed from the fulani herders and farmers clashes.

Northern states governors who are supposed to stand by this herders are keeping silence while they collect federal allocation from the federal government.

If the northern states decides to take some retaliatory step against the south it will be considered a cheap blackmail and like BITING THE FINGER THAT FEEDS YOU.

MY CONCLUSIVE TAKE ON THIS FULANI HERDSMEN IS THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD ENCOURAGE THE HERDERS TO SETTLE IN THEIR STATES OF ORIGIN, THE STATE THEY ARE INDIGENOUS TO.

Assist this herders to settle in their homeland and assist them to develop their cattle business in line with ranching and with respect to the federal government livestock transformation plan.

IT IS WICKEDNESS FOR THE NORTHERN ELITES TO ENCOURAGE THEIR FULANI SONS TO BE ROAMING THE FOREST LAND OF NIGERIA WHILE THEIR ELITE CHILDREN STUDY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND TAKE UP BIG FEDERAL GOVERNMENT APPOINTMENT.
Politics › Re: Open Grazing Ban: Southern States Set To Miss Sept 1 Deadline by wink2015(m): 4:04pm On Aug 28, 2021
Southerners should continue to respect people like Sunday Igboho and Nnamdi Kanu.

They should stand by them in this difficult moment in our history as a nation.

Nigeria had never been like this but with the coming of Buhari.

These bold guys DRAW THE LINE IN THE SANDs that they are not going to accept DICTATE from the fulani.

Fulani herdsmen who have no ancestral land in the south want to grab LAND AND WATER at their own terms.

BY THE TIME BUHARI finishes his tenure all this will come to an end.

LATE ALHAJI SHEHU SHAGARI AND ALHAJI MUSA YAR'ADUA despite being fulani did not instigate their people against the south and the middlebelt to favour fulani selfish interest.

They rule Nigeria with the fear of God.

But Buhari 's case is different.

He has been having a running battle with governor Ortom over fulani herdsmen killing in Benue state.
