AroleOduduwa2: 2023 is about North/ South, it’s not a PDP/ APC affairs. The south is not stupid, we will vote for anyone who present a Southern Candidate.
You have said it all.
It is about the presidency coming to the south.
But Garba Shehu is making the 2023 predential election to look like it is a party matter alone.
The various political party can vie for office, go through primaries and contest for public office.
But it still water down to the presidency coming to the southern part of Nigeria.
If you are opportuned to x-ray the heart of a leader like President Buhari he is the guy that want a northerner to succeed him not minding the fact that by 2023 he would have completed the 2 terms allowed by the federal constitution.
Britain will think twice again before sending military ship to tresspass the crimea waters said to be annexxed by the russian government of president Putin.
Ojiofor: He is speaking for his people.Eastern region is now history and so is Biafra, know this and move on.
I like the intelligent reply you gave.
That is Chief Edwin Clarke is speaking for his people which is the south south people ( niger delta region )
Under international law, the Igbos have a good case in seeking for independence for Biafra.
But they are going about their independence pursuit in a wrong way by wanting to annex a fellow southern region.
They even greedily set their eyes to annex Ortom 's Benue state just because of a few Igbos settlement in some Benue community.
Their ally and supporter against oppression for that matter.
If freedom fighters like Mazi Nnamdi Kanu focus on the 5 core Igbo states in the south east region to get the Biafra project actualized.
He will not receive much backlash from people of the niger delta region.
The yoruba freedom fighters did not employ long throat to demand that Kwara states and kogi state including midwest region especially the edo state part join oduduwa republic.
Kwara state and Kogi state have yoruba population but they put aside the feeling or the temptations of annexing those states with yoruba minorities and focus on the main 6 core yoruba speaking states.
The Igbos should follow the yoruba template for peace to reign in the land.
The Igbos feelings of getting access to the atlantic ocean by all negative approach to enable the intended Biafra republic have seaport will cause so much disaffection.
Referendum or no referendum south south or niger delta region do not want to be annexed into Biafra.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should limit Biafra territorial claim to Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, and Abia states.
They should forget Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Benue state even if these mentioned states has igbo speaking minorities or these state were part of the former eastern region that was administered by the late Lt Col Odumegwu Ojukwu before the nigeria Biafra civil war.

Edo state government is one of the state government in southern Nigeria that signed the anti open grazing law expected to take effect as from 1st September 2021.
In Delta state, the bill is presently undergoing 2nd reading in the Delta state house of Assembly.
But little is heard about the level of progress made so far by the Edo state house of assembly.
Is governor Godwin Obaseki backing out on the agreement he signed with other governors from southern Nigeria?
dermmy: Honestly I don't know why western powers always look for trouble. This same Britain forcefully took Chagos Island from Mauritius in the 60's. ICJ ruled in 2019 that Britain should vacate the Island, close the joint military base it built with U.S. there and return the Island to Mauritius but Britain has yet to obey that order it's two years since the UN ruling.
Now they are flexing muscle saying they don't recognize Russia's annexation of Crimea. They don't recognize China's artifical islands in the South China Sea. Are they not hypocrites?
You only remember Chagos island claimed by Mauritius and the issue of the south China sea involving China and its Asian neighbours.
What about the Falklands island and the st George island that Britain under late british pm, Margaret Thatcher government went to war with Argentina.
Argentina called the island The malvinas.
Britain refused to surrender the Falklands island to Argentina even to this day.
Oppression is by almost all the Superpower countries.
Apart from those abokis that are quartered in NNPC housing complex and the rest of it because of government jobs and private oil and gas appointment secured through quota systems.
The rest abokis hardly pay house rent.
They prefer freebies.
They live in ghettos and day break they use their plastic kettles which serve as water storage to wash their face.
They take their bath in rickety zinc built house and they rub scent in their kaftan put arewa cap and head for their selling or transportation business
The Ogun State House of Assembly has passed a bill banning open grazing.
The bill, which was passed at plenary on Thursday, puts offenders at the risk of three years jail term.
Southern governors had during their last meeting in Lagos fixed September as deadline for open grazing practice, a development which has been subject of controversy.
However, few days after the Southern governors meeting, the Ogun assembly passed the Animal Grazing Regulation and Cattle Ranch Establishment Bill 2020 into law.
The lawmakers said this would address incessant clashes between herders and famers.
Long title of the bill reads, “HB No. 045/OG/2021- A Law to Regulate Animal Grazing, Establishment of Cattles Ranches in Designated Grazing Areas of Ogun State and for other Matters incidental thereto and connected therewith.”
The bill scaled the third reading and final passage following the presentation of the report of the House Committee on Agriculture by the Sponsor, Ganiyu Oyedeji, at a plenary presided over by the Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo.
Oyedeji, thereafter, moved the motion for the adoption of the report, seconded by Hon. Olusola Adams, and supported by other lawmakers through a voice vote.
The legal framework was later read and adopted clause-by-clause.
Thereafter, the Majority Leader, Yusuf Sheriff, moved the motion for the third reading as it was seconded by Hon Wahab Haruna.
The Clerk of the House and Head of Legislative Services, Deji Adeyemo, took the third reading of the bill before the lawmakers.
Part of a section of the bill prescribed a jail term of not less than three years without the option of fine “including the forfeiture of the herds of cattle or livestock under his/her control to the State Government for anyone who rears, herd or grazes any livestock in any part of the State except within the permitted ranches or anyone who rears cattle or livestock outside the permitted ranches after the commencement of the law.”
Responding, Oluomo directed that the Clerk to prepare a clean copy of the bill for the assent of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
AT LEAST SOUTHERN GOVERNORS ARE TAKING BOLD STEP TO BRING PEACE TO THEIR LAND.
NIGERIA CAN NOT CONTINUE IN A WAY OF LAWLESSNESS ESPECIALLY BY THE FULANI WHO WANT TO CLAIM THE LAND AND WATER RESOURCES OF THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE.
No southerner doing business in the north will be bold enough to tresspass into land that belongs to hausas, fulani etc in the core north.
These ABOKI..s will carry poisonous and charm induced dagger to stabbing the SHI...T out of the southerner, if a southerner attempt to encroach on their land for agricultural purposes like farming.
But in the south it is where you find cattle herdsmen moving their cattle lawlessly across farms settlement eating up the crops the farmers had laboured for.
Some of these poor farmers even took bank loans, borrowed money from friends and relatives to buy seedlings and fertilizers to support their farms of which they are expected to pay back borrowed money to the borrower.
Kaduna1stson: As a northerner, I support this man. Its high time we in the North start telling ourselves the real truth, and that is that our leaders has destroyed Nigeria with our regional incompetence.
NOT ONLY TELLING YOURSELF THE TRUTH.
PLAN A REVOLUTION.
AND FREE YOURSELF AND YOUR NORTHERN PEOPLE FROM NORTHERN POLITICAL CLASS THAT USES DENIAL TO THE RIGHT OF EDUCATION, CHILD MARRIAGES AND SHARIA CODE TO KEEP YOUR PEOPLE FROM DEVELOPING.
damilola4162: The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has condoled the families of two Nigerian Army and Navy personnel who paid the supreme price while defending students of Bethel Baptist High School, Kaduna, Newspremises reports.
The two personnel, Private Salisu Rabiu and Ordinary Seaman Bilal Mohammed lost their lives while engaging the bandits who attacked the school and kidnapped an unspecified number of students in the early hours of Monday, 5th July 2021, Newspremises reports.
The Governor said that the duo of Rabiu and Mohammed are heroes who lost their lives while engaging outlaws who represent the worst of humanity.
He added that their lives would not go in vain as the victory of evil men is only temporary, but their retribution permanent.
The Governor who prayed for the repose of their souls said troops and all security personnel on the frontlines deserve solidarity, motivation and gratitude, instead of condemnation.
He described negative comments against security personnel as a most unfortunate display of ingratitude in view of their sacrifices and patriotism.
The Governor has on behalf of the government and people of Kaduna State offered financial assistance to their immediate families.
Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner Internal Security and Home Affairs represented Governor El-Rufai at the funeral of Seaman Mohammed at Ungwan Kanawa Cemetery, Kaduna North LGA. Prayers were offered for Private Rabiu at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital's mortuary before his remains were taken to Daura, Katsina State for final interment.
Sadly, it is taking the problem to rub all the regions of Nigeria as money meant for development is spent on security.
BUHARI is not putting effort to fight bandits and kidnappers in the north but he put a gigantic effort towards lobbying the Kenya governnment to extradict the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu to Abuja, Nigeria under DSS arrest.

WHY DON"T THE KILLER POLICEMAN JUST PART WAY WHEN THE RELATIONSHIP IS NOT WORKING?
