Nbote: At this point, it is very very very very clear that these people are very very very very clueless. This is what you get when you bring in relics as leaders. Is Nigeria the only country using Binance? How can anyone who isn't a slowpoke claim Binance is a sophisticated heist against the economy? Your borrowings, your cost of governance, your unapologetic pilfering of public funds aren't all against the economy but na Binance that's has no physical office in the country, used by hundreds of millions worldwide in hundreds of countries that is a heist against the economy?? How is this any different from what Buharia did by banning crypto??
I didn't campaign for the job, I am not being paid for the job neither am I qualified for the job but arleast the little knowledge I have is enough to know that this is foolishness. I don't expect an imbe.cile to know that Can you see how useless and clueless you and all the people that likes your comments. So France, Malaysia and other countries that ban it are clueless. |

The Lagos-Ibadan Express Media would not credit her in the same way that they did with the besieged Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. You are spewing rubbish. Government can only pay out money they have. Or do you want them to be printing money just like previous regime which lead to the current inflation and high cost of living in Nigeria |

happney65: In 2015. We told them in simple and basic English.
You do not remove a nagging wife which was GEJ and replace her with a road side prostitute. It was the analogy I gave them.
I told my friends voting for these people then that you do not on no occasion vote for a Buhari.
A Buhari is the road side prostitute who will sleep with your neighbors and friends.
Either you replace GEJ with someone better or you leave him there. The ones coming will make things worst for us. His antecedents are glaring.
But with stupid emotions, they didn't listen so some of us stayed away from the polls in 2015. I wasn't ready to vote for GEJ again, but it would be over my dead body I would vote for Buhari because I know who exactly he was.
Coming down to 2023, The one taking over from him was even worst than him. All he said was Emilokan. He never promised us anything whatsoever.
It was just about him and his EGO. While a candidate was telling you and telling us we have to move from consumption to production. Mr Emilokan proudly said " shey na statistics we go chop"
How a presidential candidate can say that and so callee educated people still voted and campaigned for him is one of the wonders of the 21st century
24hours before his inaguration. I said it in black and white on my status that he will be worst than Buhari. Apart from the fact that he said he would continue from where Buhari stopped, Himself and Buhari are nothing but birds of the same feather
The Economy that was the fastest growing in Africa when they got power, has turned to the poverty capital of the world and our people are now poorer than they have ever been since 1960
See,This is just the beginning. We haven't started and we haven't seen anything yet at all
Brace up fellow Nigerians!

nairalanda1: Before anyone comes here and starts abusing SOuth Eastern states, or any other state, consider that Lagos is the economic capital...and as such has the tax revenue to pay for projects like this.
Other states cannot command the revenue Lagos commands...even places like Kano.
A light rail costs a lot of money. A lot. Most states cannot build one...which is why only Lagos (and the FCT ) have working light rail projects. They can do it. Its lot cheaper than road in the long run. |

That way you wil be less disappointed about the happenings in Nigeria. Folks like you are the reason for bad governance. In order words, we should not demand security. We should provide security for ourselves. I would like to counter this ludicrous statement by charging Nigerians to demand their rights from their government at all levels and be constantly on their guards to challenge same government on providing the critical things they need as enshrined in the constitution. |

onuman: Courting foreign investors to a country with spiralling inflation? Tinubu people can tell that only to their equally empty head supporters. The foreign investors they can court are those who come to mine crude oil and other mineral resources and pay a token for royalty, cart the crude oil and other minerals away to their home countries. Nigeria's politicians use the token to form a resemblance of government in Nigeria, pay the armed forces of Nigeria to silence dissenters, and steal rest of the tokens. You are the one with empty head. With the floating of the Naira foreign investors can come in and exit at anytime. The different rates was a scam before. And a time will come, when all those people who are arbitrary increasing price would not be able to do so. Consumers would always look for alternative. |

abhosts: Who exactly is benefiting from an ever falling Naira? What kind of cruelty is this? In 2019, a friend of mine based in the US invested $200,000(N72,000,000 at that time) into Nigerian real estate. Now his investment is valued at about N200,000,000($135,000). Despite the fact that his naira investment tripled in value, it was still not worth it from a dollar perspective. He is now regretting his decision because he would have been better off just leaving his $200k in the bank when you consider it is now worth 32 percent less. This is an example of foreign investor they claim to be courting.
You are damn wrong. If he invest in real estate the value of those properties would also be higher now. Has your rent not gone up? |
