RomanceThe Funniest & Smartest Ways Boys Woo Girls by winningwinner(op): 9:04pm On Jun 09, 2019
Hi pals, while growing up, one of the greatest challenges of a young boy is how to woo a girl and retain her for friendship. The smartest but funniest way then is to show her how serious you were with your academics. Girls then love boys who are loaded upstairs. With good grades in school, you're very sure to have girls all around you, free of charge.

Now, a very important personality in this present government who happened to be my senior in school then got his fingers burnt while trying to do the necessary. He wrote his girl but while trying to envelope it, the letter fell down. He ran and delivered an empty mail while I held the original.

Today, I want to celebrate his birthday by making him to laugh loud. He is a Nairalander and so will quickly understand.

We all had our different ways and I do not know if boys are still using the same trick... How about you, while in secondary or tertiary institution, did you try a thing like this? Read...

Dear Sweet

Time and ability plus double capacity has forced my pen to dance automatically on this benedicted sheet of paper. I hope you're swimming in the wonderful pool of Mr. Health there. I am also parambulating in the cool breeze of wellness here.

Sweetie pie, the reason why this miraculous thing is a is because, honey, I love you spontaneously, and as I stand horizontally parallel to the wall and vertically perpendicular to the ground now, I only think of you, since you are a fantastic and fabulous girl, put together as fantabulous. I implore you to decipher this my anthem of love oozing out from the innermost pendulum of my thoraxial cavity.

Darling, please stop haranguing with the feelings in my heart because I love you more than a snake loves rat.
To me each day I start by dreaming of you. Each time I see you, my metabolism suddenly halts and my peristalsis goes in reverse gear. My medula oblongata also ceases functioning.

Crazy, crazy, crazy you may say but this is verily veritable. If only you knew what is going on in my encephalon, you would prostrate. That's why I need to see you vis a vis soon for a better elucidation through tete a tete. No hyperbole & onomatopoeia, simple candidness.

Only you and me are protagonists in this subtle affair. As I cogitate and ruminate over the last episode, I genuflex before the Omnipotent and implore him to let this affair emulsify.

By the way, I was bamboozled, scintilated, exhilarated, and left in a state of prolonged euphoria by the contents of your missive which was quite edifying and exalting. It left my bio-chemistry in a paradise-like equilibrium.

Empirically speaking, I love u chemically... I don't ever want to see gloom and doom looming over your angelic live portrait. Let my appellation be scribbled across your heart, with indelible ink. If any boy tries to ask for your companionship, tell him that u are leased and caveated.

I think I have to pen off here, because I still haven't finished studying electrolysis polymerization. But before I evaporate, I like to revitalize your memory with those encapsulating lyrics which proclaim that your catarrh is my butter, your piss is my mimbo, the world's greatest lover is me.

Catch you later. Sleep tight and don't let those bed bugs bite you because you are too sweet for them.

Goodbye for now.

Your slave in love,
your pillow, your cushion,

Xxxxxxxcccc.

PoliticsBuhari Marks Inauguration With N61 Million 2019 Mercedez Benz by winningwinner(op): 8:26am On May 30, 2019
So many activities headline the second term swearing-in ceremony of President Muhammadu Buhari but one of the other silent things is a new Mercedez Benz car unveiled by the President today.

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 560 was part of the fleet of cars that brought the President to the Eagles Square for the swearing-in ceremony.
Buhari, in company of his wife, Aisha Buhari, were occupants of the new 2019 S560 Benz.

Checks by SaharaReporters reveal that the 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 560 was specially designed for the president.

However, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 560 (Maybach) is being sold at $170,000. It is equivalent to N61,200,000 when converted to Nigerian naira at the rate of N360 per dollar.

The car has special features like Active Parking Assist, Multicontour Front Seats w/Massage Feature, Surround View Camera, Active Lane Change Assist, and Traction control.

The unveiling of the N61m car acquired by President Buhari is coming less than 24 hours after he submitted his asset declaration form at the Code of Conduct Bureau.

The Presidency had said the forms signed by the President and sworn to before a Judge of Abuja High Court, showed no significant changes in assets as declared in 2015 by him.

The asset declaration form of Buhari never made mention of a 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 560.
“There are no new houses, no new bank accounts at home and abroad and there are no new shares acquired,” Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity said.

In 2015, Shehu listed 270 cows, 25 sheep, five horses, birds and economic trees, five houses in Kaduna, Daura, Kano and Abuja, a plot of land each in Port Harcourt and Kano; farms, an orchard, and some cars while he owned a mud house in Daura, as Buhari’s assets.

PoliticsIs APC A True National Party? by winningwinner(op): 8:07pm On May 15, 2019
The Nigeria's ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) right from its formative days, has remained enigmatic to every concerned citizen of this country.

The party, apart from introducing some strange ideologies to the Nigerian polity, has remained, according to pundits, a party to watch in the game of divide and rule.

Reading from the writings of some concerned Nigerians, the time has come to ask APC this soul-searching question about the unity and indivisibility of the Nigerian nation.

Read this, I believe it is for our national interest:

Interrogating APC’s Muslim-Muslim Leadership Option In NASS By Ariyo-Dare Atoye

The sectional and demographic profiles of his appointees validate a deliberate refusal to show fealty to the constitution, his oath of office and fairness to all. President Buhari has been duly observed to have, in breach, honoured his own pledge to the nation that he did not belong to everyone.

The jury is still out. So, this piece could also qualify as an open letter to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Wisdom is very profitable to direct in leadership. Strategic leadership is central to the progress, stability and unity of every society.

Obviously, we have come to a point where we must ask the “main” drivers of the ruling APC to declare the party’s unwritten codes; unwritten because the party’s dictates have been found to be consistently contradictory to its constitution and that of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

At this juncture, the Smart Alecs regaling us with falsehoods that this regime is for everyone should stop. There is absolutely no need for further pretension about what is unfolding in the polity. We have suspected the President long enough; so, it is about time we openly discussed what the APC truly represents to our nation and democracy. This could help us to better agitate for the alteration of sections 10 and 14 (3) of the 1999 Constitution as amended. The former dwells on our secularity and the latter on federal character principle. Again, I repeat that time has come for us to face our demons and deal with them squarely.

The ruling party lacks fidelity to its own law book. The preamble to the constitution of the APC reads: “We, the true progressives and patriots, determined to render service at all levels of governance; and to build a nation which will guarantee equal opportunity for all, mutual and peaceful co-existence, respect and understanding, eliminating all forms of discrimination and social injustice among Nigerians, rendering selfless service that will rekindle a deep sense of patriotism and nationalism; hereby make, enact and give the following constitution to ourselves for effective governance of our Party and promotion of its ideals, aims and objectives.”

This preamble was framed based on, first, Section 14(3) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) which provides that: “The composition of the Government of the Federation or any of its agencies and the conduct of its affairs shall be carried out in such a manner as to reflect the federal character of Nigeria and the need to promote national unity, and also to command national loyalty, thereby ensuring that there shall be no predominance of persons from a few State or from afew ethnic or other sectional groups in that Government or in any of its agencies.”
And, second, Section 10 of the same constitution provides thus: “The Government of the Federation or of a state shall not adopt any religion as state religion”. This important section, which declares Nigeria a secular state, had, however, consistently and reasonably operated in the consciousness and thought process of previous administrations, national leaders and stakeholders, deliberately guiding them in showing sensitivity to religious diversity. But since Gen. Muhammadu Buhari returned in a civilian garb in 2015, executive provincialism has attained an unprecedented level, fueling concerns over Islamisation plot.

The sectional and demographic profiles of his appointees validate a deliberate refusal to show fealty to the constitution, his oath of office and fairness to all. President Buhari has been duly observed to have, in breach, honoured his own pledge to the nation that he did not belong to everyone. The Punch Newspaper, in an Editorial on August 1, 2016, said: “Buhari’s sectionalism is not only unprecedented, it could not have come at a worse time. The reality today is that Nigerians are deeply divided. Seventeen years of dashed hopes of progress under a democratic dispensation have reopened the deep fissures in the polity and polarised the populace into mutually suspicious camps.” It might get worse in 2019.

The APC has told the nation that the President was consulted over its proposed leadership composition of the 9th National Assembly before it settled for Ahmed Lawan (North-East) as President of the Senate and Femi Gbajabiamila (South-West) as Speaker of the House of Representatives - a Muslim-Muslim ticket. And according to the party, Buhari has endorsed this option. Interestingly, the possibility of the duo also fielding Muslims as their deputies is also very rife. Femi Gbajabiamila’s camp has already settled for Idris Wase (North-Central), a fellow Muslim for the choice of Deputy Speaker.

Religious concern is resonating because only recently, Gbajabiamila’s campaign manager Abdulmumin Jibrin, made an arrangement for him to lead an Islamic prayer in a desperate bid to appeal to the Islamic-centred Buhari regime and Muslims in the North. Jibrin frantically displayed this in the social media and the intent of it did generate concerns. Not convinced, Jibrin has also ensured Gbajabiamila visited Saudi Arabia.

An insensitive ethno-religious game is on in the APC. While Senator Ahmed Lawan is yet to openly make commitment to anyone, his fellow senator also from the North, Kabiru Gaya, who has openly declared his interest to vie for the deputy senate president’s slot, has however told the South to perish the idea of securing the number two seat in the Senate. “It is not fair because with six million votes, 20 senators, I think North West deserves the deputy senate president slot,” Gaya said in a recent declaration statement.

The Hausa-Fulani Muslim North is in a majority-take all mood in the APC. The body language is to win Nigeria forever for themselves. And Northern irredentists have started telling us to perish fairness. Doom looms. The President is unperturbed and has not deemed it fit to question his party’s arrangement that would not reflect the country’s ethno-religious diversity.

Remember when Gov. Nasir Elrufai told a bewildered nation that he had consulted the President before he settled for a Muslim-Muslim ticket in Kaduna – a state with more than 40 per cent Christian population, and which had, in the past, maintained a tradition of religious sensitivity and balancing. Also recall when the APC brooked the idea of a Muslim-Muslim ticked ahead of the 2015 Presidential election before former President Olusegun Obasanjo and other notable Nigerians kicked against it.

The whisper about the APC being an Islamic party is getting louder.

Resentment. Unease. Bad blood. Mutual suspicion. Hidden Agenda. These and many more are the consequences of the avoidable agitation that will ensue post the leadership arrangement being proposed for the National Assembly by the leaders of the APC. Head or tail, the “real drivers” of the APC have plotted an arrangement that is a Muslim-Muslim agenda for the National Assembly except the lawmakers themselves oppose it like they did in 2015. It would be disastrous for the country if the lawmakers endorse what is gradually emerging as ethno-religious conquest of the country.

According to APC proposition, this is how the first-line leadership composition of the country might look like after June 11, 2019: Executive arm – led by Buhari (Muslim), Legislative arm – President of Senate – Ahmed lawan (Muslim plus a likely Muslim Deputy), Speaker House of Representatives – Gbajabiamila (Muslim plus a Muslim Deputy), Judiciary after the conspiracy against and removal of Justice Walter Samuel Onnoghen – Justice Tanko Mohammed (Muslim, plus other headships of the lower courts). Today, Nigeria is led by a party that is pursuing an ethno-religious domination of the country. Nigeria risks being consumed by deep-seated resentment that could blossom into serious agitation and political instability.

Every administration must be conscious of “the need to promote national loyalty, thereby ensuring that there shall be no predominance of persons from a few states or from a few ethnic or other sectional groups in that government or any of its agencies.” One Nigeria has become a mirage under Buhari as Hausa-Fulanis plus Kanuris – tribes directly related to Buhari – dominate every arm and agencies of government at the expense of over 340 other groups. Political conquest? It is a shame and very unfortunate. I could as well have titled this piece, “NASS Leadership and the Islamic Republic of the APC.”

CelebritiesWhy Are Nigerians Only Interested In Bad News? by winningwinner(op): 10:23am On Apr 26, 2019
Today in Nigeria bad news sells more than anything you can think of. When a Nigerian scores a great positive point, he receives no accolades, but stands villified and condemned when he/she performs otherwise. I ran into a post on facebook describing how selfless someone became after retirement from service and not many people typed some words to celebrate or appreciate him.
Just like me, someone took the word from my mouth and wrote:
"Is anyone surprised that many Nigerians will not comment on a post like this one; we have lost every moral Fibre to appreciate heart touching gestures such as this. We comment on very useless political issues which even may have no bearing with us. We take positions to insult people who lament the misdemeanor of our political leaders/opportunists. When good people put their faith into practice, we see them as strange fellows. Yet we profess our religious beliefs to high heaven."
This line of thought got me. I was so ashamed of myself that even the youths of Nigeria have no feelings for self sacrifice. This is truly what I read, produced here for all to see. Let me know if this fellow does not deserve even that house he rejected put together...!

Excerpt:

Gateman rejects house offer for borehole in his community

A gateman, Musa Usman, has rejected a house offer as parting gift from his boss whom he served for 25 years, requesting for a borehole for his community instead.

Usman, who hail from Giljimmi, a Fulani settlement in Birniwa local government area of Jigawa state, lives with his family in a thatch house.

Usman, who served the Indian national, the Managing Director of a pharmaceutical company, Jawa International Limited in Lagos for 25 years, left the services of his boss in order to reunite with his family in the village.

When Usman was leaving, the Managing Director of the Jawa Internatiinal Limited, Mr. V. Verghese, decided to build a house for him as part of appreciation for his diligent service while he was his gateman but Usman, whose community is suffering from acute water shortage, rejected the offer of the house and asked for the construction of borehole for his people instead.

People in Usman’s community, who hitherto had to trek for long distance to fetch drinking water are now having drinking water in the community.

In his address at the commissioning of the borehole, Mr. Verghese, said his decision for the parting gift was as a result of high degree of honesty exhibited by Usman while he was working for him, saying there was never a time when any of his items ever missed in the house for the period he had stayed with him.

“Musa has served me diligently for 25 years. We will travel to India and leave our house under his care and behold, we will meet everything intact. He is indeed, a honest Nigeria.”

In his address, Usman, thanked Mr. Verghese, for the kind gesture, saying there was no regret in rejecting the house offer.

RomanceWhy Are Women's Anger Uncontrollable by winningwinner(op): 8:08am On Apr 10, 2019
Ufuoma Bernard told a story of how his friend was killed. In his story, one can see the manifestation of a woman's two sides. With time, I have come to know that when a woman loves a man, she does it with her heart and when she hates a man, that hatred is total and irreversible. I might be wrong on this, but overtime, I have drawn some facts from practical issues. Let me hear from you on this so that I can be a bit more accurate.
The story below can be of help.

My friend and Pharmacist allegedly killed by the wife. Alloy Is Dead.

Alloy my amiable friend and health provider is dead. I met Alloy in 2009 when I moved to the Oyigbo Expressway axis of Port Harcourt and we were friends at first sight. Alloy is from Ehime Mbano and the owner of the biggest pharmacy at the Oyigbo Expressway axis.
I can remember vividly our first day of meeting. I had a stubborn cough and have been to the Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital but was still coughing. Alloy listened to the dry irritating cough and prescribed Beehive Honey cough syrup and some antibiotics and I was relieved.

Alloy and I became friends and over the years I bought my drugs and toiletries from him and we hanged out with a bottle of wine and pepper soup from time to time.

Alloy is blessed with an affable wife and four beautiful kids. He's quite comfortable and travels abroad several times a year for fun and business.

Trouble started when Alloy's older sister had accommodation crisis and she had to move in with the Alloys. Alloy's wife vehemently refused that the sister stay in the guest house. Alloy's house is a three bedroom bungalow with a two bedroom guest house behind. The guest house is vacant but his wife insisted that the sister and kids should keep their properties there but sleep in the sitting room of the bungalow. Alloy pleaded with her to allow the sister stay in the guest house but the wife refused insisting that staying in the guest house would make her stay permanently with them and that sleeping in the living room will make her aware she's a guest.

Alloy registered the wife in a gym as she was getting out of shape and the schedule was three days in a week. Since January this year she goes to the gym daily. This is a woman Alloy bought a 2013 Toyota Corolla sedan for and gives a handsome monthly allowance. She lacks for nothing. Monday to Saturday she'll never be at home obviously staying away from the house because of Alloy's older sister. Alloy had gotten an estate agent to look for a two bedroom apartment for her. Anyway on April 1st Alloy went to the gym to see her personal trainer and asked why the change of schedule and why the wife will be at the gym six days in the week. The gym management denied any change of schedule and insisted that she only comes to the gym three days a week.

When Alloy got home he confronted his wife.
" I was at the gym today and I was told you only go there three days in a week. Why are you lying? Why do you go the other days?"
"So, it has reached this stage where you are monitoring me?" the wife shot back.
"Tell me what's happening or are you cheating on me?" Alloy angrily demanded.
"You're calling me a harlot abi? You yeye man".
The wife lurched at Alloy and held him in the neck and Alloy wriggled himself out of her grip and slapped her. Immediately Alloy knelt down begging her.
"I'm sorry for slapping you. In twelve years of marriage I have never hit you. You were choking me and I was losing my breath. Abeg."
"I'll never forgive you. Useless man. I'll deal with you. You'll know I'm an Umuahia woman".

Alloy's older sister and Alloy's pastor from Redeemed Church were called by Alloy to beg her but she was still fuming and baying for blood.

The next day as Alloy was driving to the gate of his compound at about 6pm in the evening four young men intercepted him and dragged him out of his Toyota Prado SUV and one of them said, "So, you are not afraid. You beat up our sister. We'll deal with you." The four miscreants beat Alloy black and blue. They kicked him in the ribs and groin. At the screams of Alloy neighbors ran to the scene and the criminals fled. Alloy was rushed to the hospital and given treatment and discharged from the hospital around 10pm same day.

Alloy called me the next day and I drove down to see him at the pharmacy and he narrated the ordeal he suffered at the hands of the hoodlums the previous day. He wasn't looking too good but I never feared that the beatings he received would be fatal.

This morning Alloy woke up with a headache and a cough producing blood. He drove himself to the hospital. After a series of tests internal bleeding was diagnosed. Surgery was recommended but before he could be taken to the theater for anaesthesia and shaving he slumped and died exactly 3:36pm.

Alloy is dead.

*The wife has been arrested and handcuffed by the police and investigations have commenced into the death of Alloy.

PoliticsAkpabio Blames Tinubu, Amaechi For His Electoral Failure by winningwinner(op): 8:49pm On Mar 10, 2019
Akpabio blames Tinubu, Amaechi for his electoral failure, Says; "God will shame them"

Godswill Akpabio, a senator from Akwa Ibom North-West District has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Tinubu and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi for his failed bid to return to the Senate for a second term, saying "God will shame them ultimately."
Akpabio, who lost his reelection bid to Chris Ekpenyong was quoted by a very close source as saying that Amaechi particularly worked against his reelection so as to maintain his leadership of the APC in the South South.
The former Akwa Ibom State governor, who was PDP Leader in the Senate before decamping to the APC had scored 83,158 votes, while Ekpenyong scored 118,215 votes.
The source, who preferred anonymity because of his closeness to the Senator said he accused Tinubu of deliberate refusal to use his influence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure the removal of the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mike Igini.
Akpabio was said to have vowed to fight with his last blood to retain the senatorial seat to shame Amaechi, whom he said never liked his defection to the APC.
The source said he charged some of his core loyalists in a meeting on Friday, that they should all rise and fight to regain his political pride.
"Oga is bittered, he is very angry. But he does not want to spill the beans yet, so as not to jeopardize whatever assistance that can be rendered on the Saturday governorship and House of Assembly elections. If not for the elections, which he is still hoping that federal might will be deployed to impose APC, he (Akpabio) would have started speaking against Tinubu and Amaechi," the source said.
Speaking further, the source quoted Senator Akpabio as saying; "In 2015, it was Amaechi that singlehandedly nominated the Ministers from South South States except Edo and Bayelsa. He also got his loyalists appointed into the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
"Amaechi was even the one who got Nsima Ekere appointed as Managing Director of NDDC and when he resigned to contest the governorship of Akwa Ibom under APC, it was Amaechi who singlehandedly appointed his replacement.
"It is his (Amaechi) calculation that my return to Senate will place me in a vantage position to be the Senate President and that will automatically take the party leadership in the South South from him.
"In the case of Asiwaju Tinubu, he wants his wife as Deputy Senate President and that will only be possible if no one from the South emerges as the Senate President.
"As a two term governor with a lot of political influence, he (Tinubu) feared that if I'm reelected, it is as good as I'm the next Senate President and that he never wanted.
"Those are the reasons the duo of Amaechi and Tinubu worked against my reelection but I will shock them soon because we have not heard the last on the election."

RomanceShould He Call Off The Wedding? by winningwinner(op): 8:54am On Mar 05, 2019
I have a very good friend who studied the problems I passed through in my marriage. In fact, he vowed to be more careful.
I was in my house one day when he came visiting. He broke the good news to me: "He has found a wife!" Waaoooh! We danced and jubilated. The wedding day was fixed and my guy showed up again, feeling dejected.
I managed to console him but he was adamant. The problem here is this: the lady in question did not come up open with some crucial personal matters of hers. One of them is her age. She hid her age to him and my guy got to know it somehow.
This lady, according to peeps, has four younger sisters who had long married with children. In fact, the youngest married my friend's schoolmate's elder brother whom they usually visit. During their wedding, my guy was there too with his friend from school (the groom's younger brother). As at now, that marriage is blessed with three kids.
It's now the turn of my friend to marry. He has done almost everything to prepare himself for the wedding. He sent an invitation to his former schoolmate who now lives in the US. The friend has to call on phone after seeing the name, surname, village and town of the bride and wondered if he had anything to do with such identities.
Investigations confirmed his former schoolmate's suspicion and problem began. Despite all, the real issue now is this, the lady in question (bride to be) is older than the groom by 10 solid years! They love themselves, but the age difference is not funny. The lady too is rich, running almost neck-to-neck with my friend, which some say is not a problem, since both of them are well to do.
Please, he needs your sincere advice as you did to me when I equally ran into troubled waters. Yea, your opinions did the magic coupled with prayers.
The question he's asking now is, if he should cancel the marriage plans due to age difference?
Your contributions are appreciated...

If you cannot stand the bitter truth, then better stop reading here, because you will get angry and shorten your lifespan by the truth I am about to reveal here.

But if, like Shehu Usman Dan Fodio, you know that conscience is an open wound that only truth can heal, then read on.

I decided to write you this open letter after seeing multiple Northern youths jumping into sewers and gutters to celebrate President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election.

Ask yourselves what are you celebrating. Under Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria is the world headquarters for extreme poverty. Not poverty, but extreme poverty.

In Kenya, when Uhuru Kenyatta was re-elected, Kenyan youths trended on Twitter for celebrating with nyama choma (Kenya’s version of Suya). But here you are celebrating by jumping into gutters and sewers.

Prepare to get angry by what I am about to say: Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s biggest sin against the power elite of the core North, was his determination to educate Almajiris. People like Muhammadu Buhari and Nasir El-Rufai feared that if Jonathan succeeded in educating the almajiri youth, they would lose their army of gullible youths, like those now jumping into gutters to celebrate Buhari’s reelection.

Let me pause for a while for the truth to sink in, for you to get angry, and then for you to insult me and my lineage.

In case you do not know, there are 12 million children and youths in Northern Nigeria who do not go to school. Those youths are poor. Extremely poor. The ONLY way they can escape from poverty is via education. That is why former President Goodluck Jonathan built 165 almajiri schools and nine new universities in the North.

You are celebrating Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election. You claim he is your champion. Now let me ask you this question: How many schools has Buhari built for you in Northern Nigeria? Not one. Not even ONE. Do not accept my word. Go and investigate. I deal in facts, not fiction. Facts!

In the last four years, one man, Bishop David Oyedepo, has built more schools than the Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government of Nigeria. Again, do not take my word for it. Go and investigate what I have just written above.

Are you aware that while he was President, Goodluck Jonathan’s children ALL schooled in Nigeria? Compare that to President Buhari. ALL Muhammadu Buhari’s children schooled abroad.

Muhammadu Buhari knows the value of education, so he educated his own children. He also knows the political value of illiteracy, so he leaves your own Northern children uneducated. I know what I am saying is annoying you. I know if you see me, you will stone me. But I know that you also know that it is the truth. That is why it is bitter.

Other than your value as pawns to getting him to power, what other value do you have for Buhari? The Lagos-Kano rail was revived by Jonathan, not Buhari. The Abuja-Kaduna fast railway was built by Jonathan (although conceived by Obasanjo), not Buhari. The only federal university in Buhari’s state of Katsina was built by Jonathan.

You claim he is fighting corruption. Atiku Abubakar has known businesses. He employs over 40,000 Nigerians and yet you call him w thief. Bola Tinubu does not own any known business. Yet money moves into his house in bullion vans. Have you heard that EFCC went to his house, or arrested his people?

Before your very eyes, Buhari, who is fighting corruption, raised the hand of Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano and asked you to vote for him. Have you not seen Ganduje’s video? The man is a common thief. He is a barawo. But that is the man your corruption loving Buhari wants you to vote for.

Other than the mental feeling of superiority that you have over Yan Kudu by having Muhammadu Buhari as President, what tangible benefit has his Presidency brought for you? In Zamfara, Governor Abdulaziz Yari confesses that insecurity is worse now, than under Jonathan. The other day, Governor Kashim Shettima went to Aso Rock to cry about the worsening state of insecurity in Borno.

All these are happening and you are there celebrating by jumping into gutter and sewers. And when one Yan Kudu points out the truth to you mutanen Arewa, you start vibrating in anger.

I have read The al-Quran. The very first verse in the Quran highlights the importance of education by asking you to read and recite the Message. In Islam, the acquisition of knowledge is among the most important and sacred duties for every individual.

The numbers the whole world is now using (1 to 10) are of Islamic/Arabic heritage. The oldest existing, and continually operating educational institution in the world is the University of Karueein, founded in 859 AD in Fez, Morocco by Islamic scholars. Islam is conducive to education. It is left to you my Northern brothers to decide if Muhammadu Buhari is conducive to education.

Nigerian activist, frontliner of #Ourmumudondo, Charly Boy Oputa, has taken to social media to ask Nigerians to brace up for hard times following President Muhammadu Buhari's victory on Wednesday.

According to Charly Boy, President Buhari’s second term will be welcoming Nigerians to a whole new phase of slavery. The music veteran made this known via his Instagram page. He credited Buhari`s victory to his ”cabal’s smartness”. He said:

Chai, Atiku is even being endorsed by prostitutes! What does this signify?

Read what Abimbola Johnson reported:

No less than 10,000 prostitutes have endorsed the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Part, PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

The prostitutes, under the umbrella of the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes, NANP, on Tuesday, stormed Abuja, ahead of the February 16 presidential and National Assembly elections.

Secretary General of the group, Sandra Efosa, said they resolved to settle for Atiku’s candidacy following the low patronage they suffered under President Muhammadu Buhari.

“Just entered Abuja with my President, Madam Tamar Tion and 10,000 other members ahead of the presidential election to declare our support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar,” a message sent to Daily Post read.

“We shall be mobilizing our members across the country to work for the election of the PDP candidate. I shall let you know of our next step,” Efosa said.

She further said the association would be declaring “free sex” like they did in 2015. “Of course, that is our tradition but I will issue a comprehensive statement on why we settled for Atiku having endorsed Bukola Saraki earlier,” she added.

Have the masses ever enjoyed Nigeria's money directly from government before now?
Because some of you had direct or indirect access to treasury looters doesn't mean same applies to the masses?

Those same masses plus the farmers reaping from the Anchor Borrower's programmes that has created millionaire farmers are the people trooping out to welcome PMB/PYO during campaigns and will eventually vote for them.

Maybe your Atiku who has promised to empower his already rich friends by selling NNPC to them will get his votes from the US where his irrelevant entry is being celebrated.
I would have kept quiet on this, but your last word on Atiku got me: "...US where his irrelevant entry is being celebrated".
Well, if you must know, the ceremonious entry of Atiku into the US is occasioned by APC's claims and chest beatings, that "Atiku can never enter the US".
You sound so much as if you're not in Nigeria again. I wonder!

PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Seizes 6 Borno Towns by winningwinner(op): 8:38am On Jan 02, 2019
It is obvious that the Nigerian Military may have lied, as reports indicate Boko Haram is now in charge of 6 towns in Borno State.

Multiple sources and fleeing residents have confirmed control of six towns of Baga, Doron-Baga, Kross Kawwa, Bunduran, Kekeno and Kukawa towns of Borno State by Boko Haram fighters.

They reportedly invaded the town, driving in a convoy of more than ten fighter vehicles, using the main road from Kros Kawwa to launch coordinated attacks on Wednesday December 26.

They overran the Multinational ‎forces’ headquarters, a naval fighting base and a Marine Police base in some of the attacked areas.

Sources who spoke with Daily Trust narrated that the insurgents first attacked a base of the multinational forces located in Mile Four (an area outside Baga town) at about 4pm and the military responded. Fighting took place till midnight after which the insurgents took control of the military base while Nigerian soldiers retreated.

Commander of the multinational force, whose name was given as Brigadier General Hassan, was said to have escaped at night to a police base in Baga town alongside some of his men.

The following day, Thursday, the Nigerian military deployed fighter jets between 6 to 7am, bombing the multinational forces base hoping to prevent Boko Haram from carting away weapons in case they didn’t do that the previous night.

‎The insurgents, said multiple sources, then attacked Mile Three, where the Navy had a fighting base. The Navy was said to have put up stiff resistance but eventually lost control on Thursday. A commander of the base whose name was given as Air Commodore Degel escaped to Monguno.

On Friday, the insurgents reportedly moved to another naval base located about three kilometers north of Baga in an area popularly called Fish Dam on shores of the Lake Chad, through which imports and exports take place between Nigerians and Chadians.

They however spared residents, saying they were after military and civilian JTF fighters. The insurgents gave civilians the choice to stay or to freely leave the town. Majority of residents numbering about 2,000 trekked sixty kilometres to Monguno using bush paths. Commander of the Multinational forces and members of the civilian JTF were said to have joined the residents, whose knowledge of the terrain helped the party to reach Monguno.

Sources added that the insurgents were also in Doron-Baga where hundreds of residents fled through the lake on local boats. ‎The residents are said to be taking refuge in a border village under the control of Chadian authorities.

On Friday, the insurgents made attempts to take over the army’s 8th Brigade in Monguno town but the military repelled them. The insurgents however overran an army base in Kekeno (a town in Kukawa local government area), our sources said.

The sources said the insurgents are currently in control of the six major towns in Kukawa making them in full control of the local government area with water ways accessing Chad.

It was gathered that weak old men and women are currently trapped in the six towns even though majority have freely left.

Residents were forced to trek through bush between Baga and Maiduguri.

A Borno State Civilian JTF leader in Borno State narrated that no fewer than two thousand people fled, including soldiers while weak men and women stayed back.

“The Divisional Police State at Baga is empty as the DPO and his men there fled because an insurgent happened to be arrested by the police and his fellow insurgents had vowed to get him out at whatever cost. This is the much I can tell you. Security there is very fragile and, if there are people there at all, they may not be up to 500 as at today (Sunday),” he said.

“The insurgents invaded our town on Wednesday,” Garba Adam of Doron Baga said. “When they came, they told us not to fear, that the town had now become part of Daula [Islamic State], and that whoever wished to stay as a resident of the Daula could do so and whoever wished to leave could also do so. So on Thursday, we left the town. Residents fled in different directions.”

The question that is begging for answers now is: How did the "technically defeated" Boko Haram get the strength to disgrace the Nigerian military in this manner?

During the flag off the Muhammadu Buhari presidential campaign in Uyo, the degradation of Boko Haram took the center stage as one of the promises of his government that was fulfilled. Going by this present development, where does this claim fit in comparing the much talked about credibility of the present?

In your own opinion, describe the "technically defeated" Boko Haram cliché. This will help Nigerians understand credibility and claimant better.

So many children of hate on Nairaland! When has the business of the Church become the concern of satanic children?
People who do not know the road to a Church, who are tight-fisted, who can never help themselves, let alone giving to others, always believe that pastor has no other job other than eating Church money. Please, nobody is begging you for money, keep it for yourself and let us hear word. Is it by force that you should give your cursed first fruit? Those who know what it is, are giving regardless of your meaningless write-up.
The day is coming when if it not a pastor that is called, the case will become bad.
I have discovered that this generation of youths is the most unfortunate. They tell dreams they never dreamt. How could you be in your father's house (because I know you're still in school), and label every pastor as a thief?
Did you see that the fear of God is no longer in your eyes? You have left the good path your parents wanted you to follow and now gone astray. You need to come back, otherwise, your parents will curse you more from their graves!
Face your life, and leave pastors alone. Since you have decided on your own to go to hell, go alone, and don't try to drag others with you. Be warned!

Not here in support of Buhari, just letting you know you don't speak ill of your elder, he is still your president and your eldere no matter how you or anyone might see it, and also I'm here to tell you a fact.

Atiku will only win in your dreams cos despite all, Buhari still possesses more popularity than him (Atiku) and he has integrity more than Atiku and He has the people from the North to bank on too. They love him in the North than Atiku, go to the North don't just stay online and depend on all the rubbish going on social media. He only needs maybe 2 states in East, and the majority of the states in West will vote APC no doubt, even though not all, but I can guarantee you majority will vote for APC. And majority may not vote for APC in the North but for Buhari. Atiku using Igbo man does not imply he will win. Some Igbo may not vote, remember IPOB leaders call the shots in the East, they might direct their members not to turn up. Also, APGA will split PDP votes in the east, especially in Anambra thereby causing problems for Atiku, and some few others will vote APC. And go to the North, its majority for APC despite all. North consist of 19 states remember and almost all of the states scream SAI Baba, Sai Buhari, Majority of this states root for him.

GEJ tried it and failed in the North. No matter what you say about Buhari he has the North covered and the North does not want to hear rubbish talk about him, no matter what is said online, they still love Buhari. The other day I went to the North, do you know as bad as people from all over Nigeria portray Abacha as an evil man, some offices still hung his pictures as if he was the country President, I was amazed. They love who they want and nothing anybody can say to change their mind against their hero. The same thing with Buhari, they just love him. He used the lopsided that you talked about to earn their love. He did that by taking every viable institution to North. Giving North enormous power. This OBJ and GEJ failed to do. OBJ ruled the country for 8 years and never deem it fit to bring most development to his own people in the west. Most little development you see in Abeokuta is by the current governor and some by Oshoba. Gbenga Daniels of PDP did not do anything or much. GEJ also was scared of what the people might say, thereby didn't concentrate much in Bayelsa state and Niger-Delta as a whole. I love him, but he failed in that area. But Buhari never cared about what people might say, he just took most institutions to the North and development too and gave his people so much power and position. And you want North to vote against such man that have benefited them? Other areas can Bleep him up NOT NORTH. IBB also did the same thing while in power, he took most Nigerian Institutions to North, he changed Nigeria capital to Abuja, now go to Abuja, it's developed more than any area in Nigeria.

The best time PDP would have successfully defeated Buhari was in 2015. If GEJ had stepped down for a Northerner but he refused. Not now that the people of the North have tested the man Buhari and he favored them more than any area in Nigeria. I am not saying 2019 will be devoid of election rigging. No, I am not saying that. But even without rigging, Atiku can never defeat Buhari in the North. All politicians that know what's up will know that North is the most powerful area in Nigeria when it comes to election because that region has 19 states, landmass and populations, once you can win in those 19 or lets say 16 or 17 out of 19 states in the north.. you just need a few more states to win such an election. Atiku concentrated more in East, which is just 5 states, tell me how will that make him win? 5 against 19? Most Easterners don't even see themselves as Nigeria (IPOB) some of them will still stick to their guns or their leaders might ask them to stay indoors as usual and they will not come out to vote and if that happens Atiku will be in soup, all he and his party will be screaming then will be APC rig the election.
See who is speaking! So now you can respect elders and leaders, abi?
Well done, or are you also just arriving from Sudan yourself?
We were all here when because of Jonathan, you all poured invectives on your leaders and openly disgraced them. Have you repented?
