TEMAS is right. you have total 46Kg. But you may choose to hold almost 10kg as hand luggage. So pack most stuff in ur hand luggage but not liquid anyway.

I applied to EMU then left the country for holidays and now I received an email saying I was late on paying my tution fees. However, I would like to deferr my admission till next year Jan/Feb let me know if this is psossible. Then I will like to know how to go about the scholarship as I finished from Aptech and have complete my Bsc in Middlesex Uni in the U.K. I also sent the international center an email.

I would also like to know the proceedure to apply to any university in South Cyprus. Thank you.

Thank you for the interest shown in EMU. I received your email from our international center email address and i have replied you on what to do. I remembered i have awarded you scholarship as well under MTech infor tech. Kindly follow the procedure sent to you from our email. If you love yourself dont bother applying to South Cyprus. Dont be deceived by unwanted element that has never step in any of these countries before but based their statement on here-say. I have access to both countries and i can 100% speak about both countries but if you choose to go further to South Cyprus then ask me any question i will be of help. Some tips about the South Cyprus for you. Kindly do some search of the university you wish to go there, check the accreditation, ranking and recognition of the university, the living conditions and financial implications. Then make your choice!

Starting from Today, our university will be closed to enjoy the Ramadan celebration till Thursday. Your details MUST be sent to the embassy before you can be issued visa to travel to Cyprus. All students that paid the university fees will have their details sent to Turkey (Istanbul) and the Turkish embassy of your country.

My candid advice for those new students like me based on wht i have gathered so far from this forum,please have a good sponsor back here in Nigeria at least someone that can pay your fees and accommodation and i believe none will regret their decision going to NC....

imperiouxx: Ok. Canada and Russia do the same thing too but it's during their the visa processing which is better when the person gets there only to be send back home.

Yeah very long time around 2006-2007, applicants have to do the medicals from their home countries and submit the results during residency application and take another medical test after arrival to ensure authenticity. As i know, even after most students take the medicals in their home countries, most countries also perform another medicals to confirm the results submitted, such case is still on on the southern part of Cyprus both at the Northern part, it was stopped when the immigration office were bombarded with fake medicals from students home countries. Students will need to do the medicals here now and any affected students will be sent back home is just a way of managing medical crisis in a low population.

3rd Batch of NAMES SENT TO TURKISH EMBASSY -EMU

To all our applicants and admitted students, we had sent the 3rd batch of names to Turkish embassy around 2am today. Kindly book appointment for your visa. Another list will be going to embassy on Monday in case your name is not inclusive in our last list.

I will be part of the committee that will be meeting the Turkish ambassador first thing tomorrow in Ankara. I do implore those students that have applied for appointment and got very very far dates to email me or state here their real names and confirmation reference number. This will help me to draft my letter so as to allow the ambassador to intervene with the consular on EMU students and make the appointment more closer and visa issuance faster.

Hmmmm is not condemnation anyway just a way of ensuring the foreigners coming do not affect us living here oooo. As Cyprus population is less than 1million so outbreak of diseases can kill fast.

NO medical test while you are still in Nigeria or your country. After arrival at Cyprus, you will need to go for medical test and ensure you do not have the following HIV, TB, Hepatitis. If you have any of the above, you will be deported with the next flight back to your country.

EMU APPLICANTS

We have extended our payment deadline to 30th August, All payment must be received on or before this dateline so as to allow us finalize with the embassy and prepare for arrival of the students. We advise all applicants to send us pick up form atleast 3days before arrival so we can prepare to you up at the embassy and give you free accommodation for few days so as to settle down.

We urge all EMU applicants, that have paid tuition fees to kindly apply for appointment at the embassy as soon as possible, we have sent delegates to the embassy and the concerned authorities on behalf of admitted EMU students so as to make the whole process smooth and fast. Do not wait for your confirmation letter before you apply for appointment. Also for those have paid but yet to get confirmation from us, kindly ensure you paid the correct amount set for issuance of confirmation letter.

We need to confirm your payment first. It takes 3working days for transfer to reach our bank from Nigeria. After your payment is confirmed then we send your confirmation letter. We do FAX names to embassy in batches, if you apply for visa without your name at embassy you wont be attended to. When we send another batch of names, you will be informed.

Go to EMU website you will find the address, google Turkish embassy address in Abuja you will get it...sometime you guys amazes me with sort of questions you ask and you are sure you are a student? and thats why i only answer questions not just typing pool

Your visa started from 3rd August and will end 2nd sept so you must come here atleast 2days before your visa expires ooo..

Check your email, i have sent you your admission letter and awarded you 50% scholarship. As soon as you make your payment kindly send us your payment slip so as to allow us send your name to the embassy.

Wip how is Emu goin to handle the population explosion they are going to be having come september,every student on the queue today was heading to Emu,though am heading to CIU.

Thank you for the interest shown in EMU, you maybe admitted into our Master program in Economics with some deficiency course/s such as econometrics or without deficiency course if you had taken such courses as part of your undergraduate degree.

There is no job restriction here but the questions is there job out side the university or within the university ? Which the answer I will say all intending students must have standby sponsor and complete finance before embarking abroad or here as job is scarce and may not be available and might be available. Job Is
Very very difficult to get pls note that.

You may get research or teaching assistant position which is highly competitive as I know more than 5 brilliant master students in same economics fighting with their blood to get this position since 3 semesters ago but very difficult. So only student that are financially bouyant will enjoy education here.

Are you sure you are not banking with Boko haram Banks cos am just hearing this for the first time that bank manager refuse to give customer bank reference letter.

The consular decides who to approve and who to deny, WIP cannot say and nobody has power to influence visa decision except the consular as far as i know. Get your right documents and ensure your university have proper and daily contact with the embassy. At EMU we do fax and send down our registrar to the Turkish embassy Istanbul and always on alert to provide needed support for our students that is why we are reputable university. wish you luck!
