i got your transcript, you need to be admitted first then you can then apply for scholarship. Admission for this semester is closed, so you will need to wait till will open admission for next semester. After you are admitted you can email me the required documents for scholarship.

Thank you for the interest shown to study at EMU, we do not offer Msc in biochemistry at EMU but we offer MSc in chemistry and you may be admitted for that. You will need your transcript and statement of result. You may send all to my email address and we shall processing admission for FEB 2013 starting from November this year. When you send and i havd it i will update you. If you have above 3.00CGPA you will be awarded 50% scholarship but less than that you will have 25% scholarship.

Kindly go to EMU intl center, we have dedicated team that will help you with accomodation and registration is simple and you can finish in just 2hrs. Due to huge number of students, we can surely accomodate you for 3 days FREE and after that you will need to make your choice and pay for the dormitory of your choice.

Yeah thats what the embassy say, but from information reaching me few hours ago, EMU rector and Nigerian Ambassador to Turkey are working out modalities on EMU admitted students on rejected visas cases, far appointments date and we shall keep our students updated on new arrangement. Probably before end of this week we shall get a resolved plans to update.

is not compulsory as NC immigration is not interested that you book roundtrip as a student but Immigration officials in Lagos or Abuja extort student with one way tickets. Also note that you can actually get refund for your other way. You will need to inform the traveling agent or Airline before you buy it and they will let you knoe the procedure. I havde done that alot of times tur Turkish Airline.

No you won't do any medical test in Abuja provided you do not have HIV and TB, you will do those medical tests in Cyprus before your resident permit application is considered.

Kindly read the Tukish embassy website for the required documents, take them along and the interview is always short, but you will need to know your chosen university name and why you chose the uni or the course etc. Wish you luck!

The embassy just informed us that, two of the applicants that their visas have been denied before has been reconsidered and the applicants have been informed by email and phone call to submit their application on Wednesday. If such applicants are NL member pls check your email and spam box and we do belive you must have received the phone call from the embassy. Kindly visit the embassy at the scheduled date and time sent to you.

Others that have problem last week and i was informed, kindly make another appointment with the embassy or visit the embassy we have resent all details and negotiate further with the embassy for reconsideration.

Please do not do any medical test in Nigeria. When you arrive here, what is needed for you to do will be comminucated to you. All medical tests are to de done in Cyprus and thats only result that will be accepted for your resident permit application.

Can we know how it went with the rector and president of cyprus concerning those refused visa?

i replied your email so answer my question in the email to know how to help you further. We have about 7 cases of denied 2weeks back, we were able to speak with the local authorities and 4 have been granted visa out of these 7 while others have pending appointment days. We have seek to know the reasons for denial and those reasons that can be corrected have been done by our own part while those from students like presenting fake documents, low bank statement and irregular age etc are still having issues. If you do send me your details as i requested, we shall follow up to know reason for ur denial and how we can come in.

To all EMU prospective students, our last batch for this year supposed to be sent to embassy yesterday but we are taking huge time and patience to ensure all names are not missing. For those that have received the confirmation letters since and names not sent to Abuja, by the end of today we shall send all names to Abuja. For some of our students that Turkish embassy informed their details have not been sent to them and their documents have been taken, we have resent all your details to the embassy and for those denied visa, our rector will be meeting the Cyprus president to intervene this afternoon and i shall inform you when to re-book for your visa.

Today is the last batch to Embassy and Today is the last date to receive payment from International students from Africa. For all that have received their visas, kindly update us your travelling details so we can make arrangement to pick you up at the nearest Airport.

which school did you pay to? anybody can be denied visa even if you pay 4years fees and have all the required documents. Visa is not anybody's right but its a privilege.

hmmmm you want me out of my shell hmmmm i wont mention name of skool but that your skool you just mentioned are just after your money, facility is incomparable, recognition ohhhhh ahhhhhh, structure wise hmmmmmm ohhhh ahhhhhh. Before any student should go for any skool should kindly find student in that skool that will be trithful then the applicant should do alot of search and survey dont be quick to rush to skool becos of name or just you must leave your country. Every semester large number of international students transfer from all these skools back to EMU after spending just one or 2 semesters there. Try check the university accreditation, membership, recognition, facilities, collaboration partners. For example some of these skools give student scholarship and force you to stay in expensive dormitory for your first year but if you wish to transfer from the skool you will be asked to pay all the scholarship given to you and many other stories like this.

ANOTHER BATCH OF NAMES SENT TODAY-EMU

To all EMU applicants, we have sent comprehensive list totaling 380 students name to Turkish embassy Today and official memo to Turkish ambassador Today. We are quite aware of the new scrutiny by Turkish embassy and all visa denial and rejection were all communicated across to us. This will help us to reduce the number of unwanted element on the Island.

We are quite aware of the dates given by the embassy and we have made arrangement to curtail the late registration of some of our students. Our meeting today, simply put the last day to receive student to first week of October. Any student after this date, will not be able to register and we need to stay back home or register next spring.

Our attention has been drawn to some agents charging for scholarship and arrival fees, pls be informed, Scholarship process is FREE of CHARGE and evaluated by ME. All students coming to EMU, should please send us the arrival details atleast 3days before arrival so that no agent should charge you from Airport cos Airport pick up is FREE of CHARGE.

I received the letter sent to you by the Turkish embassy. Your brother called me as well and i did follow up. Am sure your brother already informed you that we have resent your details to the embassy. So relax for the embassy to call you why rushing? the embassy has requested for your details from us and we had sent to them. Its precautionary measure taken by the embassy to ensure genuity. If you are not called till end of first week Sept then your brother will inform me.

Thank for your keen interest to study in Cyprus. I always advise all students to have sponsor so there wont be any problem.Is not as if their is no job at all in Cyprus but the job is scarce and the wages sometimes may not be reasonable but belive me some are very lucky landing the job within months they arrive but beliv me again each person story differs. The government policy of Cyprus do not allow Foreigner to own 100% entity as you will need to partner with one of the locals. You will succeed here if you are very creative, straightforward and always tinking out of the boxess. You will not succeed wen u want to engage in Yahoo yahoo, wen u want to join the groups selling cocain, heroin and Cannabis as these are criminal acts that may land you in jail even if you are caught smoking cannabis.

Like you said, Barbing might fetch you some little living and you may be okay with that if you are very good at that. For instance, in most barbers shop here, students are charge 15-20tl ordinary hair cut and 30-45tl for additional services which is 1500-2000 Naira or 3000-4500naira. If you are very good and can cut those latest trend, have clean barbing equipment and good barbing environment sure you should have blacks barbing at ur end especially if you go low on ur price. learn very very well graphics cos is another hand work that is scarce here, be business minded. but all in all you will need to have sponsor to help you out cos all these have stated might not work for you.

There wont be any issue if you are European or have permit to enter both countries legally.

There is room for excess ranging 4-8kg for students In Turkey and in Cyprus,which i believe should be applicable in your country also. The extra KG in Cyprus cost around 30-80USD depends on content but i have heard students coming From Nigeria that the NAHCO or whatever they call them charges any amount base on their mood, pocket and need. Seems their is no real law in Nigeria as most of our students complain how they were cheated at the point of leaving their own country Nigeria. So pls kindly go with enough money and see how you talk with them if you are over charged. Let them know you are a student.
