I really admire your energy at engaging theists especially the Christian variety in arguments. I remember my university days when we argue from evening till the morning of the next day. 3. It was actually day, but the other verse said night due to translational issues. The original Greek translation actually meant late in the day, when the sun has actually gone down. But when they translated to English they removed the late, so it read as if it was day when it actually meant night.

4. It is irrelevant of Jesus died at night or in the day, the most important thing was that Jesus died, that was a fact and no contradiction there.

The excuses can go on and on to explain away the numerous glaring contradictions in the bible.

And how do you measure the amount of pain all animals have during child birth? Do you have a pain meter or you can communicate with animals to ask them the degree of pain they experience during child birth. Note that there are some species of animals that die soon after giving birth.

Now you may wonder why I hold this view, I'll tell you. It stems from my experience of childbirth. You see, I was in fullblown Labor when my baby's heart beat dropped. There was panic in the room with midwives and doctors dashing around manically. Whilst all this was going on and I was in excruciating pain, I started pushing. Kinda like straining to have poo only this time, I was doing this and I had no control over it.

It was really weird because I was thinking (kinda like observing myself doing this and wondering "what are you doing". I could formulate the thought but could not influence the very action of pushing, it was like being in a vehicle (my body), very aware of what was happening but having no control, I could only watch, feel but not act.

That was nature doing its thing to expel the baby from my body, doing what my body had been programmed for over years of evolution. I had no control.

So I believe the same goes for the desire to have children, to propagate. Yes we are enlightened, knowledgeable about the mechanics and the world at large but that desire is primal, from days where we hadn't evolved to the beings we are today. Kinda like the fight or flight instinct.

1. The x:y ratio of the sperm released.
2. The timing of copulation.
3. The PH of the woman's body which is determined by her diet. Alkaline PH favours y chromosome sperms, while acidic favours x chromosome carrying sperm. So eating acidic foods and gulping down carbonated mineral drinks does not favour y chromosome carrying sperm.
4. Receptivity of the egg to x or y chromosome. Believe it or not, some women have eggs that shows preference for either of the chromosomes. Sad story, but I have learnt not to pass judgement based on one side of a story, we need to hear from the husband's side.
In the meantime, the story get as e be. How can the woman say she has no where to go, did she fall from Mars? Does she not have any family or friends? Does she not have someone she can call to help her temporarily until she can go to her family's house?

Was she really married to the "husband", either traditionally, religiously or legally, because if bride price was paid on her head, the woman's family would come for the head of the man and his family, and if they are legally married, the law would come for the man( assuming the woman knows her rights), the husband cannot sent the wife out of their matrimonial home without a court ordered divorce settlement.


Is she really sure the 10yr old belongs to the man or was the man unsure of the paternity of the girl? No man would throw his own 10yr old into the streets, no matter how angry he is at the mother or the gender of the child. Paternal instinct will always kick in.

Finally, why now? How come the husband waited 10 years before he rejected the child because of her sex. I assume the husband has been caring for the child for the past 10 years, so why did he suddenly disown the child because of the woman's ability to bear a male (or any other child). What would have happened if in those 10 years of trying she gave birth to more female children?

Why did she decide to sleep outside a bank? I would have thought a church or mosque would have been more appropriate. How are we sure the lady is not schizophrenic.
