Lama ke, in Abia state? Did not know Lamas can survive in Nigeria. Below is what a lama looks like.
|
1) Your leaders steal your money and hide it in other countries 2) Your children can’t find jobs so they cross the desert, get sold as slaves or make it to the Ocean and cross in dinghies, get to Europe to do menial jobs. 3) Your citizens are embroiled in vicious community , tribal and religious killing and the government is helpless. 4) Your institutions don’t work, corruption is celebrated. 5) Religion is the drug your citizens use to calm themselves and attack each other. 6) Life is short and bitter. 7) Your citizens enjoy luxury goods and produce nothing. 8 ) Politics is do or die and the party in power absorbs every thief because each man wanna chop. 9) Nothing works in your country except faith. 10) Your sisters dominate the prostitution trade in far away lands and excel in “juju” bondage. 11) Workers salaries are not paid, and state governors are arrogant. 12) Your law makers are the highest paid in the world but have not passed one impactful law since they came to office *If your country fits this bill then you are from a SHITHOLE country, face the truth and make it better . Stop blaming even a brainless prat like Trump for noticing*!! |
GREATESTPIANIST:That is the right attitude, different strokes for different folks. If tithes works for you, by Jove pay your tithes peacefully, but it is wrong criminalizing non tithers and threatening them with curses, fire and brimstone. The Catholic Church survived and prospered for over 1800 years without tithes, the Ethiopian Church survived longer without tithes, numerous orthodox churches prospered for centuries without tithes. The first churches in Nigeria prospered, built churches, schools, hospitals etc, for free without tithes and Nigerian Churches now making tithes the basis of their existence. |
GREATESTPIANIST:You were instructed to pay tithes by your pastor and not Christ. You pastor might as well instruct you to drink poison or strap bomb on your chest, it does not mean it was instructed by Christ. |
asuustrike2009:Start reading Malachi from Chapter 2 instead if reading only Malachi 3:8 - 12 in isolation. You will see Malachi was talking about priests who were teaching wrong doctrines and stealing tithes and offerings. Malachi 2:2 “And now, you priests, this warning is for you. 2 If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not resolved to honor me. Malachi 2:7 7 “For the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty and people seek instruction from his mouth. 8 But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi,” says the Lord Almighty. 9 “So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law.” |
asuustrike2009:The issue of tithes wasn't raised because it was not important, and certainly not a requirement for salvation. The only times Jesus mentioned tithes was in condemnation of the Pharisees. are you a Pharisee? Jesus never taught tithing. Jesus never went careful in going against established norms and constituted authorities, that was why he encouraged his followers to pay tax to Caesar. Are you now going to say paying Tax is a requirement for making heaven because jesus commanded Christians to Give what belongs to Caesar to Caesar? Have you given Caesar his due? Have you paid your taxes? If not you will not make heaven. |
asuustrike2009:Malachi was not referring to Christians or even ordinary Jews, it was talking about priests who were stealing tithes and offerings of the ordinary people. Jesus preached and taught the people about lots of things tithing was not one of them. Jesus never demanded for tithes from anybody and never taught his disciples to collect tithes from anybody. If you really want to be called Christians meaning Christ follower, you follow the instructions and teachings of Christ and not anyone else. Christ have already told you how to show you love him. |
asuustrike2009:Gospel according to Nigerian Men of God and their fanatic followers. You have to be pure and holy to make it as if there is any spot, nothing for you. What has being pure and holy got to do with tithe? |
asuustrike2009:Foul! Jesus never tied salvation to tithes. Christ never taught that you will be judged according to tithes. That is false doctrine. @OP, you are on the right path as Jesus commanded his followers to help the poor. Read John 21:15 - 17 to know what Jesus commanded; John 21:15-17 King James Version (KJV) 15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. This is why i support Daddy Freeze trying to Free the Sheeples, which has proven to be an impossible task. Until the sheep is free off their task masters (Salvation according to tithe pastors), the sheep cannot be fed. |
Etianwanokon:God does not blow economies, people do. This is the reason that despite churches on every street (in fact 10 churches in some streets) and mosques everywhere our economy in being blown off, Meanwhile, the Chinese economy is booming and is taking over from the US as the biggest economy in the world. |
engrchykae:Although you are right that mosques have become breeding ground for terrorist, why not condemn Nigerian Christianity also that constitutes nuisance on the community and convert their followers into perpetual ATM machines. They prey on the weak and desperately and in the process destroy million of lives. They promote and jystify all sort of crimes as long as the church collect it's own share of the proceed of crimes. Christianity also contributes to the destruction of the society. Why should the Nigerian government not start destroying illegal churches too? If the government has the right and obligation to destroy illegal structures without approvals like schools, markets, and even people's houses, why should illegally built churches be above the law. |
These two paragraphs are the koko of the matter; ChinaAid, a US-based Christian advocacy group, said local authorities planted explosives in an underground worship hall to demolish the building following, constructed with nearly $2.6m (£1.9m) in contributions from local worshippers in one of China's poorest regions.Poverty is correlated with religious fundamentalism. The poorer the community or religion the more religious the people. The poorest nations of the earth are the most religious. It is no surprise that the poorest regions of China will contain the most religious. Imagine poor people contributing $2.6m to build a church but cannot contribute money to help themselves out of poverty. But the surging popularity of non-state-approved churches has raised the ire of authorities, wary of any threats to the officially atheist Communist Party's rigid political and social control.Religious organizations especially the fundamentalist ones tend to believe that they are law unto themselves. Why should religious bodies operate without government approvals or controls. Some tend to challenge government authority and the countries constitution. They teach their followers to disregard civil laws and elevate their doctrines above that of state laws. I wish Nigeria can take a cue from China and actually regulate religious institutions. The only problem is that it can lead to anarchy as Nigerians are ready to die for religion. |
TreasuredGlory:RCCG should then deregister as a Non Profit Organisation And reregister as a limited liability company or better as a PLC, since it must always make profit. |
Enskynelson:Money making reasons by sharing on Facebook and WhatsApp? Please explain. |
GavelSlam:Glam! Why did Okupe (the bastard) not write these long epistle during the time he was advising president Jonathan, when Fulani herdsmen had free reign in the middle belt.
|
Themandator:You know nothing. You were just in secondary school making all sorts of assumptions. It is very annoying when someone who was too immature to know what actually happened behind the scenes arguing with someone who was directly involved and directly affected by the conflict. What did the army do for the itsekiris? Did the army stop any village from being burnt and the citizens murdered? Did the army prevent any of the numerous attacks on warri? The Ijaws were attacking warri almost on a daily basis and there is an army barracks at effurun. The final attack on warri in which the Warri boys were annihilated was a well well planned operation, the army came in after we had stopped the Ijaws from progressing to the palace. The Ijaws got as far as they did because we allowed them, we did not confront all they way from cemetery road. After the defeat at warri, we went on the offensive, we ransacked many Ijaw villages, so much so that we started seeing Ijaw internally displaced refugees in the news. Before then it was only itsekiris that was always in the news as internally displaced people. |
ThisTrend:This bolded is the koko of the matter. He obviously was not impressed with the sex. Why will a man marry a lady who does not get sexual urge? |
Themandator:You just do not understand anything and you are just arguing blindly. At least you knew the commanding officer was arrested, even with his "injury". What did that tell you? That the soldiers under the commanding officer was highly negligent or highly compromised. When I tell you that the military were bribed, I did not imply the military high command or the G.O.C, it was the commanding officers and a few officers that needed to be bribed. As a result, the troops would not be deployed effectively or at all. This was the same case with Boko Haram. Before Boko Haram is able to successfully invade military barracks and formations, the commanding officers and a few officers were usually compromised. The Boko Haram boys were able to overrun well armed and fortified barracks without much resistance. Military officers getting injured does not mean jack. Many officers are known to inflict injury on themselves to avoid postings to war front or to avoid responsibility for some crimes. You are not more knowledgeable that the superior officer that ordered for the arrest of the injured commanding officer. So you are now exonerating the military of negligence or complicity in the blatant attack on koko with the excuse of "Truth be told, those guys are good with waters ", you should also exonerate the military in the current onslaught and massacre of villages in the middle belt by Fulani herdsmen with the excuse "Truth be told, those guys are good with the bushes" I wonder why your are condemning the FG the military for their lackadaisical attitude towards Fulani herdsmen. |
Themandator:You know nothing, you were probably too young to understand what was really going on at that time. Artillery in a city like warri? Do you even know what you are talking about? The Ijaws came in speed boats, shoot people at random, burnt down houses they suspect belongs to itsekiris and disappears into the Creek. So how will artillery work against them? Artillery will only destroy people's house and kill civilians. Which Nigerian Army pushed back Ijaw militants? The Ijaw boys that attacked warri multiple times and at no time were they confronted by the Nigerian Army stationed at effurun. They usually come long after the Ijaw militants leave. It was later on that we learn that the army was bribed to stay away for a few hours for the Ijaw boys to conclude their operations. I was in koko a day before the 2003 senatorial elections and I saw heavily armed soldiers stationed at koko. A day after I left, the Ijaws attacked koko, and burnt down many houses including the local government secretariat, kill many people including old people who could not run into the bush, the strange thing is the army did not fire a single shot. The Ijaws boys came, carried out their atrocities and left in their speed boats. I and many members of my family were involved in the counter offensive, i know how we were able to acquire weapons, some of our university student helped produced and modified some weapons. We were able to block food and supplies from getting to riverine Ijaw towns and villages on the Benin river. Look I could not reveal more as I would not want to reveal too much as the Ijaws might want to try us again. |
Bobby808:You lie on all fronts. The Ijaws had the upper hand for most of the conflict because they were well prepared and their main objective was to carry out ethnic cleansing and drive the itsekiris out of their lands. They used the excuse of relocation of local government headquarters as a cover to carry out genocide against the itsekiris. We the itsekiris were taken completely unawares, we had no guns, no trained fighters, nothing. We were simply sitting ducks, and the government did not do much to protect the itsekiris, they only set up committees after committees. The Ijaws burnt most of our villages and even large town like koko. The kill women and children including one of my nephew. It was after we organised ourselves were we able to plan a counter offensive. We had to arm ourselves, luckily the same people that sold arms to the Ijaws also sold arms to us. We took our boys into the forest and gave them military training. By the time the Ijaws felt confident enough to carry out a full scale attack on warri, we were ready. Our newly trained boys killed so many of the invaders, that their fighting force were decinated. It was then we went on the offensive. Our boys also started ransacking their villages. But the itsekiris were not so inhumane to start killing women, children and old men as done by the Ijaws. Immediately, the Ijaws saw that the itsekiris were now on the offensive, they ran to abuja and asaba to sue for peace. It was then we sat down and negotiated peace. Now if the Ijaws want to start another conflict based on any silly excuse, be my guest, but this time it will not be easy as the itsekiris are better prepared. As per itsekiris girls being flirts, well that is a lie. There are many people on this forum with itsekiri wives, ask their opinion, and there are many celebrities with itsekiris wives, have you heard any scandal involving married itsekiri ladies? |
Themandator:Please go and ask your father or uncles the outcome of the 1999 - 2005 Ijaw - itsekiri conflict. It was the Ijaw that begged for peace after the warri annihilation of the Ijaw boys and for the first time the itsekiris went on the offensive. |
buchilino:My broda, dey tin weak me o. Hausa man talk, the Ijaw youths take offence on itsekiris, threatening to kill itsekiris. Watin concern itsekiri for the matter? Why not direct their threats to Garba Shehu or the Hausa tribe in general, or are they scared of the hausas but feels like incredible hulk towards the itsekiris. |
EternalTruths:Don't mind afonjas, they are jealous that some globalized companies of Igbo majority ownership is richer than Nigeria. Globalized companies of Igbo majority ownership are even richer than the USA, since the USA does not post profits, In fact the USA ran a deficit budget of $552 billion last year so igbos are richer than the whole USA. Pascal Dozie an igbo man is richer than Dangote, richer than Bill Gates and even richer than Solomon. |
kettykings:I thought you were the one that wrote the heading of the topic and the opening post, or did someone ghost write it for you? The heading of the topic is 5 Nigerian Companies Bigger And Richer Than Lagos and Ogun State So what this new discussion about profits. Are you now insinuating that because Lagos state does not make profits, so all companies in Lagos posting profit are bigger and richer than lagos state? Does even MTN group of South Africa have as much assets as Lagos state? |
EternalTruths:You people have very serious psychological problems, you tell lies just to massage your ego and any one that fact checks and burst your lies must be Yoruba. You post the blatant lie that Pascal Dozie, an Igbo by tribe heads MTN that posted a profit of $15 billion, now you are screaming Yoruba because you have been bursted. |
kettykings:So now it is not more about MTN, being chairmaned by Pascal Dozie, an Igbo by tribe posting a profit of $15 billion, but is now about MTN Nigeria of which Pascal Dozie is the chairman made a revenue of N870B in 2017 despite scorched earth policies of the Govenrment. In your school, your teachers taught you that revenue equals profit? |
The MTN that posted a profit of US$ 15.432 billion is MTN Group, a south African company with a 35% share in MTN Nigeria. Pascal Dozie, an Igbo man is not the chairman of MTN group, the chairman of MTN group is Phuthuma Nhleko, a South African. In fact MTN Nigeria under Pascal Dozie, an Igbo man actually posted a $200 million loss in 2016

lawman88:She had to tell you or how else would she explain to you that she does not have money to fulfill basic obligations for the whole month of December. You are the one that will still pay her her transport fare to work and give her pocket money for launch for the month. You need to have a hard talk with your wife and impress it on her mind that family is more important than any man of God. She needs to know that her money belongs both of you and not hers to spend as she likes, else you too will spend your money anyhow you like without minding her. |
rossyc:I went to Catholic primary and secondary schools, I attended catechism and was confirmed. All through my Catholic education, I never heard of the sow seeds before blessings doctrine. No Reverend father and I repeat no reverend father would preach as a Catholic, you must sow seed or pay tithes to him before you can be blessed. Blessings and salvation according to Catholic doctrine is free. |
