UnknownT: According to such pastors, women giving birth like the Hebrew women here means that there won't be any complications, they will just give birth naturally Sorry, for pushing this hebrew women matter further, but it still does not make sense to me. According to such pastors, is it that all hebrew women gives birth naturally, without complications or that only hebrew women that lived in ancient Egypt that always gave birth without complications? Does it also means that only hebrew women have birth without complications? What of Egyptian women, philistine women, Cannanite women, Greek women, Babylonian women (all in the ancient world). Are there evidence of them all giving birth with complications? Finally, does it mean giving birth with cs is neccessarily due to complications? There are many cases where women prefer cs without any complications, especially in the developed world where cs is as easy as pulling out a tooth. So such pastors is telling us that a true Christian is forbidden from undergoing cs? What about other operations, like appendix, tonsillitis, kidney, etc, are Christians forbidden from undergoing any medical operation? |

UnknownT: Pharoah instructed the Egyptian midwives to kill any male child that was born by any hebrew woman but let the female child live. But the Egyptian midwives feared God and never wanted to be a part of Pharoah's plan, so they kept delivering both male and female, when Pharoah noticed, he asked but they "lied" to him that the Hebrew women delivered their children before they the midwives could come around. Ok, but how does this relate to cs? How did this pastor relate this story to Christian women not eligible to undergoing cs? |

eyinjuege: The bolded shows the Dr advised a csec, but she said she was going to confirm from her pastor. The dr never advised her to go seek help elsewhere. He advised a csection. Should her dr have held her down and stopped her from leaving his consultation against her will? My apologies, was working and at the same time reading and commenting. Furthermore, I guess I was overly emotional at the needless loss of lives (mother and baby). If we were in a sane country, an investigation and an autopsy would be carried out to determine the actual cause of death and those responsible. Which hospital or nursing home responsible for the delivery against doctors advice? What of the husband, why did he allow the wife to undergo normal delivery against doctors advice? Maybe it is a problem of finance. Finally the governments needs to do something about the exorbitant and exploitative cost of cs, even in public hospitals. It encourages couples to go spiritual to solve simple maternity problems. Once again apologies to doctors in the house. |

Bhelamblog: This is completely Heartbreaking, I Pregnant woman has died because she heed to her pastor's words, who ordered her not to go for C-Section.. For starters, the Doctors told the woman that her baby was on the wrong side of the womb, and so for that he strongly adviced her to go for C-section, But she told him she needed to confirm from her pastor , The Pastor prayed, and told her that she should never try a C-section, Because it is for Non-Christian, that she must give birth like the Hebrew Woman.. But sadly she lost her life, and the baby too.. so sad, her cousin shared the heartbreaking new on SM.

Nearly ten per cent of new-born deaths in the world last year occurred in Nigeria, a new report by the United Nations Children Fund, UNICEF, has revealed.
According to the report, five countries accounted for half of all new-born deaths last year, with Nigeria third in the list. These are India (24 per cent), Pakistan (10 per cent), Nigeria (9 per cent), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (4 per cent) and Ethiopia (3 per cent). Most new-born deaths occurred in two regions: Southern Asia (39 per cent) and sub-Saharan Africa (38 per cent). https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/246720-nigeria-third-highest-infant-mortality-rate-world.html/amp |

Seun: Here’s the problem with testimonies. They suffer from selection bias. When people experience bad luck, they don’t give testimonies, but when they experience good luck, they give testimonies. That gives listeners the impression that more good things are happening to the brethren.
If you told us the story of your life, mentioning only the positive things you have experienced, we would be envious of your good fortune. However, if you mentioned only your negative experiences, we would think you were the most pathetic loser in the world. See what I mean?
The urge to pray in a church and cry to God was not mysterious. It is normal for a Christian who thinks his wife will die to do such things.
The successful delivery of his second wife was to be expected, since most deliveries are successful. The fact that he lost his first wife and child in childbirth makes the story even less impressive to me, because he would have taken more precautions e.g. getting her admitted at a better hospital. It also made me wonder why his miracle-working God didn’t answer his prayers when his first wife and child died on the same day.
The fact that both wives had difficult deliveries may be a coincidence. It may also be that he is a large man attracted to small-sized women.
Suppose a Muslim told you the same story you just told us, only replacing words like ‘church’ with ‘mosque’, etc. Would you convert to Islam? Oga Seun, the OP's undeniable proof is a sort of anti climax, we were expecting some brilliant and intellectual arguments, but all he presented were unverifiable, incoherent and unreliable testimonies. We have heard many incredulous and stupid testimonies, we recently heard a testimony of someone who by simply putting a sticker on her gas cylinders never needing to ever buy gas again. We have heard testimony of someone driving from Lagos to abuja on 1 litre of fuel. Just enter the nearest redeem or winners church on any given Sunday and you would hear tens of incredulous and stupid testimonies. The OP talks as if atheists do not deliver babies safely or that only prayers to the Christian God ensures safe delivery or even pregnancy. The reason safe delivery is such a big deal in Nigeria that requires fasting and prayers is because we have about the worst infant mortality rate in the world. If the so called testimony giver was living in majority atheist but efficient country like Norway, Sweden, Holland or even China, I am certain he would not have lost his first wife and child. The OP talks about malfunctioning ovaries? Abeg, doctors in the house, what does that mean? All the eggs the Overies will produce are already present at birth. So is the OP saying the ovaries were not releasing the eggs or they were no eggs in the ovaries. Was the lady seeing her period before with the "malfunctioning" ovaries or not. It seems most of these testimonies are in competition to see the most stupid and incredulous. Finally, testimonies can never proof the existence of Yahweh, Jesus, Mohammed, Visnu or any other God. |

Literature › Re: The Untold Story Of Adam And Eve by wirinet(m): 10:12am On Feb 02, 2018 |
1dlemind: The Untold Story of Adam and Eve In the beginning God created the earth, He made the sea flow, (1) He lifted the sky above the ground, He made the birds fly and the fishes swim,; (2) He made sure the almighty lightbulb called the sun was switched on by six am and installed tinier bulbs called the stars at night. But (3) from dust and a breath of life from his nostrils he created his greatest work. Man. Man was more superior to any other beast either on land, sea or air, maybe it was his advanced intellect or the fact that he was made in God's reflection. (4) Animals that could swim on water could not move on land and animals that could move on land could not swim in water. Man could do both because he was a fast learner, he learnt how to plant trees and make fire,b God himself was marveled with Man's intelligence that he gave him a name Adam and made him caretaker over His paradise on earth called Eden. (5) Adam's first task was to register every animal a name for easy identification, Adam did as he was told and every animal was given a name they deserved. God was once more impressed with Adam's result that both of them got along well than any other mortal creature of the earth. Adam proved to be an efficient worker that God promoted him from caretaker of trees on Eden to general manager. Adam was resourceful and hardworking, he trimmed the lawns, made sure the rivers and springs were clean for drinking, he tended the trees, planted the beautiful flowers around the garden. Once in a while God came around to supervise the garden and he was always impressed with Adam that He boasted about him (sometimes Jesus was jealous that his father admonished Adam more than him). God believed that every honest and hardworking labourer deserved a reward and He being so just and righteous was a rewarder of every faithful labour so He put the man under a sleep so deep, repeating the same procedure he used for creating Adam, God took a sample from his ribs and from the dust of the earth he moulded a body more durable and perfect than Adam's and breathed life in it, inadvertently giving it more intelligence than man. God had created the most dangerous gift mankind had ever known. Woman. Waking up Adam saw her, at first he thought she was an angel. Out of curiosity he touched her breast it was soft and he liked it. Her skin was flawless, her face was more beautiful than a thousand angels and roses put together, her body parts were a little different from his but Adam knew she was his equivalent. He knelt down and praised God for this gift and he named the woman Eve because she was as beautiful as the evening sun setting down. Adam loved Eve. Eve loved Adam. And God and the angels blessed the quickest wedding on earth gave the newly wed one basic instruction: Be fruitful and multiply. At first Adam was puzzled about what God meant but Eve being the smarter one knew it was sex, actually she taught her husband how to have sex. God gave the couple another instruction, which was not to go to the tree at middle of the garden nor eat of the fruit that grew on it. Reason was that there was a serpent who lived there, he was the craftiest and most subtle animal in the garden if not even the whole earth, the serpent was dishonest, greedy, tricky, rebellious, every animal in the garden avoided him thus he had no friends. God did not want the serpent to be a bad influence on the couple because he was much like Lucifer a former employee of His. Sometimes being newly married was blissful, sometimes it was harsh enough to tear one's hair out, but on both sides there must be a resolution. Good stories do not exist without conflicts so are long lasting marriages, there must be issues to be dealt with that was why God didn't make any mortal perfect. There was a conflict going on in the first marriage on earth, a silent one. The fishes could feel it as it rippled the waters, the birds could feel it shake their trees, the earth rumbled so quietly that only sensitive animals could hear it except our very own Adam. Of course he was busy as usual tending God's paradise, Adam continued being a faithful servant to God, efficient and dedicated to his work, except that he didn't know how to treat a woman. Eve in the opposite was getting tired of being alone, she had fallen in love with Adam a year ago, yet the feeling was fading off like a wax paint. Eve felt like a concubine sharing the love and attention of her husband with his boss God. No! she was never against God, for she obeyed and feared him but God also believed that couples too needed intimacy sometimes but nothing seduced Adam more than planting new trees or keeping the garden clean and when he back home late at night he gave excuses, sometimes she tried to be seductive and alluring when he came back from work, but being so tired even the tail between his legs didn't dare wag. To her annoyance Adam will only devour the dinner she made and will go to bed without saying thank you nor a simple kiss or worse still he gave her a disappointing sex. Inaccurate plagiarism of an inaccurately plagiarised story of the myths of early middle eastern primitive society. 1. Where was the sky before it was lifted above the ground? On the ground or below the ground? 2. Wrong order. The sun was not formed before the stars. Billions of other galaxies were formed or "created" before our own sun, and our own sun is not the first in our milky way galaxy. 3. If only man was created from dust (mainly consisting of silicon ), what did he create other animals from? What did he create gorilla, bonobo, urangutan and other animals has close resemblance to man. What about other living things? How is man's constituent materials different from all other living things? 4. False statements. Most animals can swim, as all animals came from water. Man is not a very good swimmer. While most animals can swim naturally, man need to learn to swim or he'll drown. Some land animals almost live permanently on water, and only come on land to mate or give birth. eg. the hippopotamus, crocodile, penguin, seals, turtles, etc., 5. Very stupid statement. How could Adam have identified and classified all the animals on the planet? There have been over a million specie of animals that have existed on the planet and some are highly specific to their environment. There are many animals that are only found in Madagascar, some are specific to the polar environment and some can only live in the depth of the oceans. New animals are still being discovered and named today and someone is say Adam had already named and classified the animals. Have to stop here, but this write up highlights the sorry state of our education. Our youths simple go to school and learn nothing and so superstition, religion and ignorance is growing in our society. How can any form of development take place? 2 Likes |

But, if you define critical thinking as actually taking action and solving problems, then the white and even yellow people are way above us. According to the statements from the Nigerian young cosmetologist who hails from warri, Delta state, Decha is a thai young guy who the young beautician met on Facebook group chat and the thai boy was interested in him, but the reason the thai boy was so much interested to see him was because, he came across some people using the products of the Nigerian young cosmetologist in Thailand, he tried to reach him but he couldn't, until the very day he stumbled on a group chat, that was how they met on Facebook. The thai guy told the Nigerian beautician that's he's coming to Nigeria to see him one on one, which he did successfully, and they were but living together in one house
There was a day the thai boy told the Nigerian beautician he will be taking him out, but his neighbor who is also known as a best friend pleaded with him to follow him, but Decha declined because he needed just himself and the beautician, Victory pleaded with him to let her come with them and he agreed. That same night, Victory decided to drink cause its a stranger who took him out, he confirmed he doesn't drink any percentage of alcohol but he did that night,. Decha and Victory got drunk and slept off.
After 14 days ChiChi confirmed she's pregnant for the thai stranger, and her parent said the boy must marry their daughter, they brought in police, took the beautician under police custody and detained, until Decha was tested by Dr Ashaka from warri and noticed he was actually drugged that same night, and got raped by ChiChi, she went further by saying she snicked sleeping pills into the beauticians drink, the case became complicated because she denied the the act until she was made to speak out.
All these things was what she later confessed herself, Decha suggested abortion but the Nigerian beautician refused it because he wants her to keep the baby Decha and Victory are still in a hotel for now till Decha returns back to Thailand 14days time. Bolded red quote suggest gay things! The story does not make sense? Why will a young Thai youth leave his country and start living with a guy in Nigeria he met on Facebook. laudate: If the armed gangs and criminal herdsmen who carry out cattle rustling are not disbanded or eradicated, then ranching is highly unlikely to stop cattle from being stolen. It just means that such armed gangs would then turn their attentions on the ranches, and raid them, at will. They may even extend such attacks to the surrounding community, who have nothing to do with such cattle. It has been said that the inability of the state to effectively respond to conflicts, violence, and banditry, "has allowed an expansion of the frontiers of banditry, and other forms of criminality." Thanks for your expose. You have a better grasp of the situation than most if not all our politicians, including the OP. The problem is highly complex and multidimensional, and it is obviously beyond the mental capacity of our politicians. One of the major problem causing this Fulani herdsmen problem is our borderless borders, especially the northern borders. Presently, Nigeria seems to be the final destination for Fulani herdsmen from all west African countries and beyond. And if something is not done to arrest the situation, Nigeria might end up being Fulani country. It would be difficult for government to assist these herdsmen because we simply do not know how many there are and how many are actually Nigerians. If the government decides to help Fulani cattle herders, more will simply come in from Niger, Mali, Senegal, Chad Mauritania, etc. Nigeria can't cater for all Fulanis on the planet. We need to effectively police our borders to restrict foreigners from causing us problems and destabilise the country. Another problem we have is that the governments accommodation and reward of violence, criminals and criminality. The Nigerian government has a policy of rewarding violence and criminals instead of dealing with it and bringing criminals to justice. Niger Delta militants kill foreigners, kill people and random, blow pipelines and engage in bunkering (illegal), the government rewards their leaders with billions and reward tens of thousands of foot soldiers with N65,000 per month. Boko Haram takes up arms and kills tens of thousands, displaces millions, burns thousands of villages and kidnaps and rapes thousands of young ladies, what does government do? Bribe their leaders with millions of dollars and offer them amnesty. Too bad they rejected amnesty. Currently, cultists (another euphemism for ritualists, armed robbers, kidnappers,) have taken over Lagos, Ondo, Ogun, Rivers, and some other states, the government responded by hosting them to lavish receptions and giving them amnesty. So the Fulani youths also need to cause carnage to attract governments attention and obtain their own concessions or amnesty. Pity my igbo in laws decided to take the peaceful path. That was why the government dealt mercilessly with their own agitations and conceded nothing. I put all Nigeria's problems to lack of governance on all levels. |

londoner: And Nigeria is only complicated under Buhari but not under GEJ?
The same things Nigerians complained about under GEJ are happening now but the difference is that Nigerians are not up in arms about it as they were under GEJ because THEY DARE NOT. The same corrupt members of PDP simply cross carpeted to APC under your very eyes. Anyhoo, enjoy your Buhari. False! Nigerians are not scared of Buhari. If Nigerians could confront Abacha, who is Buhari? The reason Nigerians have not taken up arms against Buhari is because of what the OP said, Jonathan imposed Buhari by his abysmal performance. Without Jonathan's corruption, ineptitude and naivety Buhari would never have stood a chance. Buhari has the luxury of putting the blame of the present state of things squarely on Jonathan. |

londoner: You chose hot pepper soup from the menu in protest against rice and stew but you are complaining about the spiciness and blaming the rice. Lool Jonathan rice and stew? Well I am not surprised, to most Koreans Kim Jong Un is salad and chicken. Although Buhari is messing up big time, Jonathan was a bigger failure. |

tuniski: No she certainly can't! Macron example doesn't suffice! Why can't she? Give valid reasons. Macron example suffices. We have had our own "Macron" at state levels in Nigeria. Tinubu formed a party AC and defeated the 3 existing pioneer parties. Orji Uzor Kalu single handedly formed a party and within 6 months defeated the highly established parties. Even the current running party was registered a year earlier and went ahead and beat PDP that was over 18years. Someone or some people can form a new political party tomorrow and the party can go on and defeat APC, PDP, APGA and the rest of them. |

XingXhang: Jesus didn't dance nor sang. The Old Testament, they sang and danced.
Jesus didnt tithe. Abraham tithed.
And Jesus tied our prosperity to Abraham. We are all children of Abraham, by faith, in Christ.
You wee never understand coz you're not saved. Since Abraham tithed and Jesus tied your prosperity to Abraham, it means you must follow Abraham footsteps and not Jesus, so go sleep with your maid and marry your half Sister so you can be richly blessed. |

tuniski: Wrong and big lie! Macron was/is part of the establishment he only broke away like nPDP with Saraki now senate president! What is the big lie? That Macron did not form his own political party and won the established big parties? You said that PDP/APC cannot be defeated, I provided an example where a newly registered party defeated the established big parties and you switched the argument to "part of the establishment". Did you expect someone who could achieve such feat to be a complete stranger? Was/is Oby Ezekwesili not part of the establishment? Can't she achieve the same feat if she registers a political party and actually give PDP/APC a run for their money? just as macron did (assuming we can organise free and fair elections), as she has proven to be a great mobilizer. |

tuniski: The question is whether red card is a political party or a pressure group? As it stands APC/PDP can't just be dismissed with red card! Says who? Emmanuel Macron formed his party La République En Marche! In August 2016, and won the presidential election 7 may 2017. What we lack is visionary leadership with ideology, something we lack seriously in this part of the world. The only thing binding PDP and APC is sharing of the national cake. |
