MentalCase98:You don't need the Hunter Biden’s texts with Devon Archer to be released to know the Republicans are serving nothing burger, you can hear from Devon Archer himself. Here is Tucker Carlson interview with Devon Archer himself. No where did he implicate or accuse Joe Biden of any crime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hITifMDSZxI |
IjeBos:He is recycling debunked "rigged election" lies from two years ago. This particular video had been dealt with by the Jan 6 committee. Those women came to testify on how that edited video and lies upended their lives, so much so they had to relocate from their homes. This video had been thoroughly investigated and debunked two years ago, but trust Basilico, he keeps recycling the same conspiracy theories over and over again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vq1QvLdznyo |
Shantyken:It goes beyond repairing refineries. A government with vision will reduce our heavy reliance on petrol to carry out basic socio-economic activities. Nigeria is the only country that vulcaniser, pepper grinder, business centre and urban transportation rely heavily on petrol. |
Depriest2020:Patience you say. So why did rice sellers not excersise patience before hiking a bag of rice from N42,000 last month to N52,000 this morning. I was shocked when I went to buy a bag of rice this morning. So you want workers to exercise patience earning a minimum of N30k, but sellers of food and essential services, and transporters refused to exercise the same patience. Before I forget, what about political office holders, are they also not expected to exercise patience in their allowances and salaries? |
basilico:JB crimes that only you have evidence of. Even Jim Comer is still hoping for evidence against JB. Hannity Flat to Comer: - ‘Will You Be Able To Prove’ Biden Took Bribe? Comer: - ‘I Sure Hope So’ |
basilico:What is the bad news that broke out about Biden's crimes this time? After much anticipation, what bad news did Devon Archer bring that is different from what we had heard that led to Trump's first impeachment? OK, Hunter Biden called his father 20 times in the course of a 10 year period in his presence. OK, Hunter Biden put the phone on speaker phone for his father to say hi to his business associates. Even Jim Comer and Jim Jordan could not say with as much confidence as you that Joe or even Hunter Biden commited any crime https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuEITqtwIiE Another nothing burger to cause outrage among MAGAs |
favor914:The elections conducted by the military was always better than that conducted by civilian administrations. The June 12 elections conducted by IBB is adjudged the freest and fairest election in Nigeria's history. Even the experimental diarchy elections conducted by IBB in 1992 was far better than any elections conducted by civilian administrations. Wasn’t it the Military that installed Shehu Shagari in 1979, then they overthrew him in 1983?, wasn’t it the same Military that installed their fellow soldier Obasanjo & pdp in 1999?You cannot compare the elections under military in 1979 with the one conducted in 1983 by the Shagari administration. In 1979 the issue was not rigging buy if NPN met the constitutional requirement of 12 2/3 of states of the federation. The supreme court gave a controversial ruling to install the Shagari government. The 1983 elections was extremely rigged and flawed. Remember Ondo state almost experienced another "wet tie" before Omoboriowo was removed and Ajasin rightfully installed. Now you want that same Military that wrote the constitution we are using today, to remove an elected government because Peter Gringory Obi lost the election? It's not about Tinubu or Obi, it's about having credible elections. The last elections was anything but credible, even in Obi's strongholds. Rivers State was a very glaring example. Military always use flawed elections or political manipulations by the incumbent government to remain in power as excuse for coups. |
forgiveness:I disagree with you. A war will be very complex and protracted. The Malian soldiers are battle hardened, they have been fighting for over 3 decades. They were involved with the Libyan war even before Gaddafi's demise. Wagner forces have heavy presence in Mali, then there are Islamic State and other terrorist group spread over the whole region. Our soldiers are not even trained, experienced or equipped in desert warfare. |
forgiveness:I agree with you. We must find a way of removing (or rather negotiating) these military regimes from power without breaking the China shop. I do not not want West Africa to the the next theatre in proxy war between Russia, China and the West. Having said that, we also need a way to curtail the excesses of our civilian governments, particularly in terms of election manipulations and corruption. |
favor914:I lived under military governments and I can tell you that military governments achieved more in terms of infrastructure, national cohesion and economic discipline than civilian administrations. The main problem with military regimes were human rights abuses, political instability due to lack of adequate means of succession of power and dictatorship as there was no means to control the head of state outside a coup. The irony is that military governments obeyed court orders than civilian governments. |
stasius:The best way to prevent military coups is free, fair and credible elections. All the military coups in Nigeria against civilian government was because of flawed and rigged elections. |
Bigpat:You seem obsessed with igbos. You fail to see Boko Haram that have been fighting for an Islamic Kanuri Republic for decades, you fail to see Fulani herdsmen that want to turn Nigeria into an Islamic Fulani caliphate, its only IPOB you see. Besides coups happens due to bad governance and not due to negative energy by anyone. |
Khyrvxjzy:False. Terrorism - the type we have in Nigeria whereby terrorists control areas and challenge government authority can't happen in US or even Europe. They will be neutralised within hours. |
Blazebond:Who now are the bigger thieves civilians or military? Yahoo boys and terrorists thrived better under civilian rule. |
Racoon:That's what many people fail to understand, corruption, ethnic, tribal and religious baiting, lack of credible elections and prioritising politic over effective governance will always make military coups attractive. West Africa is becoming the poster region for bad governance in the whole world. |
1stGenAmerican:At least Jim Jones claimed to be a Christian and he is guiding his followers to heaven. Trump never claimed to be a church goer before even talking about being a Christian. Trump's only claim is that he wants to Make America Great Again. He does not promise anything, but is able skim of millions of dollars from his worshippers. He simply feeds of their fears, hatred and frustrations. |
DeepSight:They even worship a golden image of Trump. I predict Trump would be a full blown religion after his death. MAGAs would claim he under went more persecuted than Jesus in order to save mankind
|
budaatum:I am not shocked that MAGAs believe in alternative realities that Trump feeds them, what I am shocked by is the belief that Trump could make something happen just by thinking about it, just because he said do. That's Godlike. Even Jesus took certain physical actions to make things happen. |
budaatum:I am beyond shocked by that statement. So because Trump said he could declassify any document by just thinking of it, that makes it a fact. Truly Trump must be God according to MAGAs. I am sure that Trump could make a baby by just thinking about it according to them. Even Trump himself did not believe he declassified the documents before leaving the white house. The irony is that whenever Trump is caught in a obvious lie, they resort to he was only joking, he was being sarcastic or he was only boasting. |
basilico:Not exactly correct. The president is not the ultimate declass authority. It depends on the type of document and the reason for the declassification. Congress has the powers to declassify certain types of documents, while the president has the powers to declassify certain documents. Agencies of government also possess the powers to declassify documents originating from its departments. He can order a declass of any document. Guide me on how he is supposed to do this in law, what does the law say is the process? Did he follow the law because you claim that his declass orders can be debunked?Once again the president cannot order a declass of any document. There are guidelines and procedures for declassifying classified documents. The president can declassify most classified documents with the use of executive orders. He has to actually sign an executive order before the process of declassification can commence. Even at that nuclear secrets and certain defense information cannot be unilaterally declassified by the president. The Atomic Energy Act of 1954 mandates that Documents containing Restricted Data/FormallyRistricted Data are exempted from automatic declassification and must be reviewed by Department of Energy prior to release. Iran documents. I posted what Trump said...Verbatim. Those were newspaper clippings. I also posted a cbs article quote -His attorneys did not find that specific document. The documents you are referring to were FBI investigations on his 2016 campaign’s contacts with Russia. Its not a blanket declassification request for all government classified documents. Trump had requested the declassification of the documents since December 2019, and FBI had given its approval after redacting some names. I don't understand the relevance of this with the Iran documents. Why would a president declassify US invasion plans of Iran or any other country? |
FreeStuffsNG:Is he the only person in Nigeria with first class brains? You mean there are no other Nigerians in their 40s with first class brains? OK, with his first class brains, what has he contributed to Nigeria before we start talking about humanity? In his 8 years as governor of Kaduna State, what has he contributed with his first class brains to the economic and social life of kaduna? Does it sound logical that a man became a minister at 43, became a 2 term governor (chief executive) and now go back to become a minister once again at 63? Is thar not a retrogression? Shame seems to have disappeared from the conscience of the blackman. |
IjeBos:You have time to be responding to him. He says the most stupid things in his rabid defense of Trump. How can the presidential records act say a president can keep any government documents he likes? The presidential records act was referring to how incumbent presidents treats records - classified or not. Where there is a dispute in the presidential records act is personal documents/records of the president and not nuclear secrets or military documents. The law can never mandate all former presidents take all government documents as his personal property. I honestly believe Basilico's life is tied to the defense of Trump. He says one thing, if that thing is debunked, he jumps unto another, and so on. Then a few weeks later he starts the cycle again with the same debunked claim. He says Trump was showing newspaper clipping and not actual Iran invasion plans, once that has been debunked, he switches to Trump had declassified the documents (a claim that Trump's lawyers refused to present in court), if if it was debunked that there is no evidence Trump declassified the documents, he then switches to whataboutism and 2 tier justice system. Reading his desperation at grasping any straw to defend Trump is annoying. |
Polymath56:The problem I have with Winners Chapel and his fellow prosperity gospel doctrine is that its always about me, me and my interests. People are not taught love of neighbour, sacrifice for the common good of the society, compassion for others and even love of God. Is always a quid qro quo of giving to God and the church (which is actually the Pastor) for individual selfish benefits. People are wired to become "born again" for selfish reasons. The irony is that the people are getting poorer and poorer, while the churches (aka pastors) are getting richer and richer, on the blood and sweat of their believers. Same situation with scammers and money doublers, who promise unattainable personal wealth by first collecting seed money from victims. This selfish prosperity doctrine is actually responsible for tearing the very fabric of our society. It has rendered Nigerians outcasts among other people of the earth. Very soon even benin republic and Ghana will start rejecting Nigerians based on our lack of moral values while looking for prosperity. The average Nigerian is ready to do anything, comit any crime in order to attain the prosperity. And others are wired to celebrate this prosperity without question no matter how it was achieved. |
online4business:Democracy is a popularity (and in the case of Nigeria a rigging and Bribery contest) and not a test of competence. That's why it throws up criminals and criminal minded people with no idea of what governance means. |
Sunnic4sure:What's the total cost of equipment - hardware plus installation? Are they in Ikorodu? |
SamuelLoch:Exactly. I am thinking of switching to Tizeti. I hear their unlimited plan is just N13k and its never throttled. The only catch is that you cannot connect more than 5 devices. |
morikee:I suspect this data plan. Why give 10gb daily after exhausting the 1TB plan? Why not just make the plan 10gb daily for 1 year straight. At 10gb daily, you would exhaust 1TB just over 3 months. Then you will have to rely on the 10gb daily bonus. I suspect the 10gb daily bonus would be throttled. I had that experience with swift network. I switched from the regular plan to the unlimited plan, it was so throttled that I could not even watch YouTube videos with it. I had to call them to switch me back to the regular plan. I would believe this 1TB offer until I get feedback from an active user. |
basilico:Sp what's your grouse now. Should you not be happy that the wheel of justice is grinding slowly but surely? So what exactly concerns Joe Biden that warrants an impeachment inquiry in this case? If Hunter Biden is found guilty of breaking US, I support he face the full extent of the law, including jail time. It does nor require legislative investigation yo prosecute Hunter Biden or any other private US citizen. |
bemeruca:So you need an impeachment inquiry in order to ask FBI and DOJ to investigate an alleged Bribery crime? Why is it so difficult to invite the officers directly involved in the investigations for questioning? Why is the investigations only about whistleblowers? To prosecute a case you need actual evidence. 100 whistleblowers without concrete evidence cannot lead to indictment not to talk of conviction. Till today, the Republican led investigations have not revealed who did the bribings, documents and money trail that connect to Joe Biden or even video or audio recordings of Joe taking bribes. What evidence to you guys think is admissible in court to support your Bribery allegations? |
MentalCase98:In effect the whole legislative investigations is just to revenge Trump's impeachments. At least Trump's impeachments were actual allegations against Trump himself for actions he took as president, and not allegations against his sons, his dead father or grandfather, or even his dead alcoholic brother. There were the phone records with Zelensky, there was col. Vinman who reported the blackmail of Zelensky. There were administration officials including the European ambassador who found the call inappropriate. Even Zelensky and Ukrainian officials found Trump's request inappropriate. For Joe Biden's, the Republicans have no allegations not to talk of proof. The is no direct allegations or even complaint against Joe Biden. The allegations are against Hunter Biden, Biden family and Biden's Business associates. They say they want to hold impeachment inquiry to search for proof. See David Packman's take on it to see how ridiculous they sound. Marjorie Taylor Greene wants Joe Biden impeached and Donald Trump's impeachments expunged. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94km-_Faa2M So the Republicans are wasting legislative time and tax payers money because they are still wailing Trump's impeachments |
bemeruca:From what I am made to understand, she did not exactly strike down the deal, she is only questioning what exactly the plea bargain covers. Is it just the tax fraud or the illegal gun purchase too. Because purchasing guns using false information is a more serious offence. Still the allegations and plea bargains have nothing to do with Burisma, China, Romania or Bribery, and certainly has nothing to do with Joe Biden. |
asanausana91:She said she had been raped multiple times. |
