saphiere:So guys invite you to their house or on a date just to rape you? Eyaaa, sorry. You need psychological evaluation and treatment. Being raped multiple times can damage a girl permanently. I agree with you on the issue of order, shipping costs must be included in any mail order. But then, it means you would not mind if the guys orders for 5 girls (I mean items) and pay transport (shipping) for all 5. |
Zedoo:But why then if a man wants to extend his territoriality to include other economic outlets, these same women would start crying. |
bemeruca:So it's no longer about Hunter Biden, Burisma or $10 million bribes. So the hearings and the impeachment threats is now about Joe Biden hanging out with KKK and fighting to keep segregation. Shebi, you guys want to hold impeachment hearings for a current president for alleged crimes commited as vice president 8 years ago? Don't worry, the next Republican president would be impeached for an alleged crime he commited 20 years back by a democratic party led house. |
Shokoloko:They don't have the same benefits my sister. Green Card gives people the benefits to travel to the US to work and live. Thar means the person is ready to work to make make a better life for himself if given the opportunity. A gold digger is a lazy person who wants to live off other people's sweat. Now, why do you think a woman should not work in the 21st century and depend on living off men? |
NaijaSumigan:Imagine asking for transportation just to visit a friend or a boyfriend. It's shows that both her and her family are living in poverty. I advice guys to avoid such ladies, either as friends or girlfriend. If you befriend her, she will be a charity case. |
saphiere:Most Nigerian men who marry old white women do so for Green Card and not gold digging. You will find out that they abandon the old white women for younger black women once they obtain the green card. Meanwhile, the reverse is the case for Nigerian women marrying old white (or black) men. Its all about the gold. |
basilico:They wanted to investigate, question and charge Hunter Biden, but they were impeded. Who were the they? Don't they have names? Why is the Republican led house not investigating the officers that impeded the wheel of justice? Why not invite Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr who were the Attorney Generals at the time? Why not invite the FBI and DOJ officials directly involved in impeding the investigations. Why moan and cry from one whistleblower to another? 100 whistleblowers will not achieve anything other that rile up MAGAs. All these payments Hunter received, he was wiring money to 9 other Bidens including toddlers, money laundering and tax evasion. Paying for prostitutes and calling it a tax deductible business expense.I still ask, where is the crime? Wiring money to 100 Bidens is not a crime. If the Republican led house have concrete evidence of money laundering and tax evasion, they are aware that they can forward their evidence to relevant departments and then subpoena them if they fail to act. If the have actual evidence of Bribery against Joe Biden, why are they keeping them hidden from the public and relevant authorities. Afterall the Bribery was supposed to have taken place more than 8 years ago even before the Trump administration. You guys are just repeating Benghazi and Hillary Emails. Years of legislative investigations without even a hint of indictment. All you guys after is just noise and wailing until after the elections. |
COMPAQ:This the problem I have with Nigerians, they are not holistic in their thinking, they think piecemeal. Now tell me even if uber driver makes N100k per month, you think he will pocket the whole N100k. He won't maintain his vehicle, he will not suffer unforseen but foreseen circumstances like LASMA, Police, FRSC, VIO. One of these circumstances can wipe out the whole N100k at once. Then your driver, se he will not pay transportation to your office or house? Unless he is a live in driver. I has to increase the salary of my driver from 60k to 70k this month as he complains thar he spends more than N20k to transport himself every month. And we are not talking about cost of maintaining himself while working - launch, water, drugs, etc., before we now start talking about maintaining a house and family. |
basilico:I glanced the link and it's the same old story from 2019 (that led to Trump's first impeachment). Burisma this, Hunter Biden that, chinese payments, Romania. All its says are "Biden's family, Hunter Biden, Biden's Business associates, etc. What are the exact criminal allegations (according to US laws) and who are the exact suspects. Biden's family is not a person. Is there any allegations against Joe Biden? Or are you guys still searching for a crime? Hunter Biden had been investigated since 2019 under Trump's DOJ, and most of the prosecutors involved are carryover from Trump's era including the judge. Hunter has pleaded guilty to tax crimes, for which we await sentencing. So, what are you guys and the Republican led housing wasting US legislative time for. If the prosectors are not satisfied with the judicial process, they have the rights of appeal. If the legislative are not satisfied with the prosecutors handling of the case, they have the rights to call them in for questioning. But to be making noise day and night about Hunter Biden is just insane. |
Lies or ignorance. Nigeria's petrol is not the cheapest in the world, it's not even among the first 10 cheapest. At and average of N600/litre and 850 to the dollar. Nigeria's petrol is about 70 cents. Nigeria's petrol is currently among the most expensive among OPEC countries. |
budaatum:The lies and conspiracies are to energize the MAGA Movement and their white extremist supporters, while at the same time discouraging weak democrats and independents from voting for Biden, just enough to win the electoral votes (not necessarily the popular votes). This was that strategy that won against Hillary Clinton in 2016. Crime is a virtue among MAGA and republicans in general, the more Trump's crime is exposed and indicted the more they idolise him. See how they idolise George Santos and Marjorie Taylor Green. But in the democratic party, crimes and indictments will make you lose support. Hillary lost because millions of democrats did not turn up to vote and not because Trump was able to convince Democrats and independents to vote for him. This is the reason the Republican party has gone overboard with Burisma and Hunter Biden. The Republican lead house will not carry out any legislative duty until the next election outside Hunter Biden. Burisma, Ukraine, Hunter Biden's person life will be the principal legislative agenda of the Republicans. They will now attempt to use whatever crimes they can conjure to paint Joe Biden. |
eldoradoxx:Nigerian judges can turn logic on its head in making bias rulings. No one had questioned INEC's discretion in making electoral guidelines on how election results should be transmitted, the dispute is whether INEC can change those guidelines after making them, putting then in the electoral laws that's approved by the national assembly and assuring the political parties and Nigerians on the implementation of these guidelines. You can't change the rules in the middle of the game or after the game. |
lawani:Thats not what the argument is about. The argument is about claims that certain people developed Lagos, and all these claims are fairly recent. First the igbos who started coming to Lagos at the end of the civil war, claimed they developed Lagos, then during elections we hear Tinubu developed Lagos, now Yorubas are claiming to develop Lagos. People like me try to educate these groups that Lagos was just a tiny fishing settlement before the coming of the Portuguese. What attracted the Portuguese and British to choose Lagos as a trading port was not because they met a developed Yoruba settlement, but because of its natural harbours and lagoons that allowed them berth their ships very close to shore and navigate far inland through creeks and lagoons. |
MentalCase98:Why are you shocked? Yes 90% of Nigerian don't know what a trans mean. The few that does are those that lived or travelled to the US or get their news from US media particularly Fox news or CNN. That's why I am shocked that some people here are so obsessed with trans and LBGTQ issues and cannot issue two sentences without talking about them This conversation is pointless I swear. Many gays don’t even agree with transgenderism. That's why I never involve myself in the heated debates on trans and other related issues, it's pointless. |
bemeruca:That's because it's a strange concept to me. It's a concept I most probably will never encounter as a Nigerian living in Nigeria. It has no bearing on my life whatsoever. They say gender is a social construct right? And gender is how one feels... Why do they need to fake or construct private parts to go inline with the gender they want to switch to?Who says? Who is the they? To me these are political issues only in the US. Its one of the Democrats vs Republican talking points. I have not heard of such debates among liberals and Conservatives in other liberal countries including highly liberal Scandinavia. We are talking about peoples children. Being gay is different from being transWhose children? Have you ever heard of any Nigerian child being referred to as trans? What we are familiar with here is gayism which has even been considered a crime in our highly religious but hypocritical country. A Nigerian that wants to trans would be taken to a Pastor, Imam or babalawo for deliverance and not a doctor for surgery. |
Heasykenny:It does not. I have been using the LPG carburetor for a week now, I only had that problem the first time I used it. I used my experience with petrol to correctly diagnose the problem. The problem is over floating, you are flooding the engine with too much gas. Press the button on the lpg carburetor two or three times then start the engine. If it does not start then push it one more time. If still it dies not start then shut the gas valve and pull the cable a few times to start the generator, that should get rid of excess gas. It will start or attempt to start. Then open the gas valve and pull once more. It should start. |
basilico:These are not issues I have to deal with and will probably not deal with in my neck of the woods. I even hate discussing LBGTQ matters as I can't really relate and I have more important issues to waste my thoughts and emotions on. Homosexuality is an issue with few Nigerian families, but transgenderism involving mutilation of bodily organs is something extremely rare (even non existent) in the Nigerian society. I have encountered a few Homosexuals, one even worked as a sales boy for me once. He was actually caught with another boy at the back of my shop doing the deed, he was stripped naked and almost killed. I gave him serious warnings but allowed him to continue working. Not more than three weeks later he was caught again. I had to let him go. As I said,I do not support criminalising Homosexuality, because I don't care what legal adults do in their private bedrooms. My problem is when they bring such acts into the public - whether gay or straight. |
donjazzet:It depends on your definition of transgender. If it means having sexual attraction for a person of the same sex, then I have no problem with it as long as you don't take it beyond your bedroom. I believe I should not be in a position to impose bedroom etiquette on any body as long as minors and rape is not involved. If transgender means having natural features, psychology and social behaviour opposite to the gender associated with the Instruments the person possesses, I also don't have any issues with that as long as I am directly involved. But, if transgenderism means having surgical operation and hormonal treatment to convert one gender to another, then I do not support it. But if the person is a legal adult, have the finances and ready to bear the consequences, then that's their own problem. I hate discussing sex and sexuality in public. Some people are too obsessed with these issues. They seem to verify Sigmund Freud's theory that men thinks of sex most of the time. These issues are very personal issues and should never be flunted in public. There are children reading and watching for God's sake. Muslim and Christian fundamentalists are too obsessed with sex, particularly who, how and when women have sex. The also seem not to have any level of self control, and becomes crazy on seeing any part of a woman's bare skin. |
Nononsense247:False. For a population of 200 million, the oil is not enough to go round. |
greggng:If the strategy is to tax the people into poverty to reduce the population, then it would fail woefully. In fact the reverse will ensue. Even though poor people die earlier than rich folks due to poor living conditions and poor heath services, they procreate more children and much earlier. Among poor families, the daughter gets pregnant and give birth (often in her fathers house) before the age of 18, many before 16. By age 21, some would have had 2 to 3 children. Same goes for boys, by 25 many would have had 2 or 3 baby mamas. For rich families the daughters often marry and have children late, often in her Kate 20s to early 30s due to schooling and career, and have fewer children. This is the main reason the population of rich countries is declining. Their women are delaying having children due to schooling and pursuing a career. |
Cyoung4real:Gbam! You are very well informed. |
Khyrvxjzy:That's not the current street value of dollars. I get the current minute by minute naira to dollar rate by checking the USDT to naira rate on binance. It always almost correspond to the street value. |
cjudy:No mind them, dollar that has been hovering between N150 and N155 today is what someone is saying is selling at N742. These people no fear God o! |
sharone21:Even though Buhari was a disaster, one thing I gave him credit for was resisting pressures from IMF, world bank and international financial gurus to float the Naira. That was why inspite of his terrible economic policies and excessive corruption, Nigeria's economy did nor collapse. Tinubu forming Jagaban by floating not only the Naira bit also petrol will collapse the economy in a year. I expect agbadoans to blame obiedients when that happens. For your information the Naira fell from N750 to the dollar two days ago to N850 right now with the announcement of petrol at N617. I have been depressed since yesterday as my logistics business and other businesses are suffering right now. Apart from high cost of energy there is the double whammy of law patronage. Anyway I know the economic uncertainty is not affecting APC and their supporters. |
lordprogress:The first screenshot below the historical data showing petrol price increases since 1978. The next 2 shows dollar to naira rates since 1983. You will notice that once petrol is increased dollar always follows. In Tinubu is as smart as agbadoans wants us to believe, he should have reduced our demand for petrol by increasing gas (especially CNG) production, distribution and use, Make sure both private refineries and public ones are working, and then invest further in mass transportation for movement of goods and people (particularly trains). If he then removed subsidy on fuel, ordinary people would not cry. Only the rich would be affected.
|
Eriokanmi:Have you bothered to ask why dollars jumped from N645 to N830 in just one month? It has to do with more dollars chasing the same Naira. NNPC granted licences to import petrol, and those importers needed to buy scarce dollars in the open market. After this round of imports runs out the Marketers would need to change their Naira for dollars again for the next round of imports. I am sure by then the dollar would be close to N900 |
Acekidc4:I hope you are being sarcastic. Because if you are not, then you need to explain to me who removed petrol subsidy without one litre of petrol being produced in Nigeria. As long as we rely on importation for our fuel supply, the demand for dollars to buy this same fuel will increase, which in turn will put upwards pressure on the Naira, which will further push up the price of petrol. We have been on that merry go round since the 80s when petrol was less than N10. Only a madman keeps doing the same thing and expects a different result. A wise government would have made sure local refineries are working before removing subsidy. That way we can determine the price of petrol and hence the value of the Naira. Floating the Naira and at the same time relying on importation of fuel is economic suicide. |
lishman1010:Shey they did not ask your for speed limiter? I have Toyota hilux with commercial number. They always stop me demanding for speed limiter and using that excuse to collect 4 or 5k everytime - even in traffic inside Lagos. Instead of FRSC to deploy speed scanners on the highways if they are really interested in enforcing speed limits, they are putting burden on vehicle owners to install speed limiter. That's an infringement on the fundamental rights on Nigerians. |
The concept of heaven is primitive man's refusal to accept the finality of death. It is a make believe world to pacify the exploited and enslaved. They are made to believe all the suffering and exploitation is temporary and enjoyment and luxury awaits them after their death. In contrast they create the concept of hell for those that is disobedient, those that resist, enslavement and exploitation, those that have independent minds. That some people still fall for such rubbish in the 21st century is unbelievable. I subscribe to the finality of death, that we have one shot at life and have that one shot to make a meaning of it. Neil DeGrasse Tyson put it succinctly here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3G9LOJZTmM |
2mch:I will say it once again and maybe it will begin to sink in. The Portuguese, British and returned slaves built Lagos. Yorubas never came together and decided to build a city called Lagos. Even the name Lagos is a Portuguese name. Until very recently most places and streets in Lagos Island (which eventually led to the development of the whole of Lagos State) were name after Portuguese English or Edo names. The place that yorubas came together to develop was Ibadan. I am sure if I ask where your ancestral home is, I am sure it will be either Ijebu or Egbaland of Ogun State. Most people that shout "Lagos Belongs to all Yorubas" are recent immigrants to Lagos. |
mikeoreoluwa:Imagine asking you to buy her JAMB form. She for tell you to process her admission, pay are school, accommodation and upkeep fees, and then attend parent activities in the school. |
Jozibrainz99:Years to come ke? It's happening right now. Go to both public and private offices in Lagos and Abuja, you will find many 30 - 40 year old single ladies. The possibility of a husband is remote. The lucky ones quickly opt to become baby mamas or second wife. |
