There is a historical perspective to it. Good point! Open new thread and tag me lets talk about it.

Early years in a white dominated community is not the best thing for an aspiring black child. They will subconsciously believe in the second class human theory.

DexterousOne. Hope you are now seeing Adron Homes for who they're

Funny thing, this is the first time i'm hearing something funny from these guys. I have two old time friends that live in on of their estate. It seems to be a well run estate. Like I said I have not been there in a while and I see my ploy cost 400% higher now.

Well, since we never know in this part of the world, I will need to secure the asset by putting something there.

That is investment. In Lagos and Ogun when you resell, you are expected to make another payment and get another receipt from the original owner is Omo onile.

The Investor who bought the farm land for N120 million must be ready to pay another money to Omo onile, if not he can't build anything on the property

Does this include land that has been regularized. I recently spent an amount almost equal to the cost of the land i bought years ago in the Ibeju axis registering for governor's consent. I was made to understand that have the governor's consent totally absolves the omo oniles of the land.

I'll appreciate if your share your experience, I bought something with them years back. I see the estate sells 400% above what I paid for it then. I have not been there in a while though.

Nollywood and our music industry are big brands

The Dangote Group is another big brand

Dangote is known continent wide

Then we talk of the banks

UBA, First Bank GTBank and the list goes on

Then we also have Innoson growing his brand on the continent

These are just few of many

I remember in Ghana
I had an associate who had nothing good to say about Nigeria and Nigerians
For those of us who frequent Ghana
We know that type of Ghanaian

So I asked him what bank does he bank with

It was a Nigerian bank

Very hilarious story j tell u

A number of Ghanaians actually have that feeling towards Nigeria.

Every other African country has its own brands they project to the world too. To me I've not seen much of any Nigerian strides in Africa apart from the oil and gas sector.

Definitely, political and economic restructuring along region lines will bring the best out from Nigeria/Nigerians.

Nigeria has some of the biggest business in Africa. I'm pretty sure we own the biggest bank, biggest cement company, etc in SSA (Sub Saharan Africa)

Nothing is too big to fail. If Nigeria was a fortune 500 company, it won't make top 100 and some of those companies go bankrupt every now and then. If the numbers don't add up, it will fail and that's what is happening with Nigeria.

Nigeria is not a company, and it too big too fail. 200 million+ big.

Infact, West Africa, Africa and the world at large cannot afford to have the largest independent black nation fail.

Show me another country filled with this many black people and still functioning independently.

We need to appreciate what we have. You will be proud when you see Dangote's cement factory towering over the Douala jetty, or when you when you hear from a Chadian that his preferred bank to get salary in his home country is UBA, or when you complain to the Ghanian on the streets of Takoradi about poor network and he recommends GLO mobile, or when you drive through the streets of Abidjan and you see Asa's concert billboard beside the city's Arik Air office.

Too big to fail.

The lifespan of Nigerian bonds will soon reach it's elastic limit, the debts has been stretched beyond limits, the country Nigeria won't be able to repay the debt in 250 years from now, it is too much debt, the solution for the government is to keep servicing. There will come a point when the foreign investors will carry their money then Nigeria will be left with local investors money, we are not far from it. Sukuk was to borrow N150 billion but they ended up borrowing N162 billion, what is the plan for the additional N12 billion? Nothing but to embezzle.

It has happened in Zimbabwe, It has happened in Venezuela, it is happening now in Nigeria. Bonds are good in a growing economy but Nigerian economy is at decline phase. Recently i realized the money generated from 1 year bond period is what i can make within 6 months of investing at the right place, eye opener indeed.
Obviously it is better to have your money work for you but there are better aspects that generates double. Recently i made N1.3m interest within 2 months doing nothing, this same amount i would have to wait one year with fixed bonds capital of N13m to generate that interest. In another 2 months i will make another 1.3m doing almost nothing, short term investment is a key to wealth multiplication.

Nigeria is not Zimbabwe, Nigeria is not Venezuela. The largest black nation on earth is too big to fail!!!

foreign exchange markets trade $6.6 trillion per day, forex is not the only investment for profit.

Good you said $6.6 trillion transactions per day. Another round of schooling.

This is not $6.6 trillion dollars in profit. It is only transactions. That is money exchanging hands or buying and selling.

I'm just saying if I was Dangote, and I have the money to afford the best financial advisors in the world. I mean the likes of PwC advisory, McKinsey, etc. and they have not advised me to put my 7Billion USD in MBA Forex to generate 207 Trillion in the next 10 years. I am firing all of them.

There has to be a reason why big money is not doing this.

This should be my last comment here till further notice. Apologies if I hurt some feelings, I didn't mean to. It was one of you that pull me from another thread and mentioned me in this forum. This is a nameless forum, so be kind to me. I might just be your friendly neighbor.

Young man. I repeat, my problem is with the word "guaranteed". That tells any financially intelligent person that something is wrong. Now that you mentioned bitcoin. Let me school you. Bitcoin has gone from 10,000USD to 8,980USD in the last one month, i.e. a loss of 1kUSD. The same bitcoin has lost maybe 3k-5kUSD in the last 3 years.

That means investors in Bitcoin have lost money, traders on the other hand make money buying low and selling high. Goodluck trying to do that expecting 180% annual guaranteed profit like MBA offers for Forex.

oga, pls can you tell me all you know about fx trading and not analysis you posted above? the same pandemic period people have made millions on NSE and there is still room to make more. My portfolio is currently on 30% gain still same pandemic period. I brought this out cos i know about investing in stocks and i can authoritatively tell u out it works. I know of someone that has gained 73% in just one stock so pls tell how fx trading works and not the analysis u posted above. From my findings i was told that the 15% monthly roi can even be made in a trade or also blow same in a trade depending how sound the trader is so dont tell me its not possible if u are not an authority in that field. I currently mentor some guys about stocks trading and their view before was just like yours that its not possible to make money today on nse but when i tutored them on it and they started wt small money today they are looking for more money to invest cos they can see it thrmselves. One is even serving and he invest 20k of his alawie every month so if u cant tell me how it works then you only did analysis paralysis

The problem here is the word "guaranteed profit". I see you know much about equities. But there is no where in the world anybody will guaranty you even 70% per annum in equities. MBA is guaranteeing (15×12) 180% per annum.

Let me tell you what 180% per annum is: Dangote is currently worth say 7Billion USD. If he close down all his factory, sell and convert he proceeds to cash. If he the invest all his money in MBA forex and do NOTHING ELSE for 10 year. Compounding annually the interests, he will have:

USD 207,337,736,686,796.62

That is 207 Trillion American Dollars. He will be richer than a lot of developed countries. I hope you now see why the interest rate from MBA doesnt make sense. Big money knows it cant work. Unfortunatley, people with small money will see it as a way. That is why I said we all know where it will end.

Na after dem bury u, he go end. Mumu

Young man, my post was on a totally different thread. How did you even pull me into this thread,
you must be smart. Now that you have brought me here, I will school you on how money works. Take time to read this, future you will appreciate it:

1) Wealth takes time and effort. It must have one or two of these. Either you are an employee, investing, running a business, looting in politics or even African voodoo money.

2) Item {1} above is because money can't be created. It can only be exchanged for something else.

3) Now forex. It is traded in two different ways, i.e. the book maker method and ECN/STP. Either way, you are buying what someone else is selling. This means when one person is losing another is gaining. Tell me, who is losing the "guaranteed" 15% per month you guys are making.

4) The answer to number {3} above is "nobody" in the forex market. The 15% gain is from the "guaranteed" new MBA investors. That is why it is called pyramid scheme. It has existed for ages, and it will exist even generations after you.

5) The only people that will build wealth here are the owners of MBA because they are giving one or two of the items I listed in point {1} above i.e. time or effort. Take it from me, it takes effort to run a scheme like this.

It is better you take time to learn and divert your skills into wealth building techniques, not trying to magically turn 20 in 40 without "effort" and in no "time".

Well, you are still young....

There is also an analogy: Tomorrow, I could win a million dollars or tomorrow I could get hit by a truck. There is also the possibility I could win a million dollars and still get hit buy a truck.

Tell me this...

Is Warren Buffet a Genius or someone who just consistently kept investing?

They said he started investing at the age of 13, now he is 89. Hmmn... 76 years difference.

If you compound 1 million naira at the rate of 10% per annum, in 76 years that money will be almost 1.4 billion naira. Take from that what you will.

The idea that everyone should try to make money fast doing? Is I don’t know. All economies have a fixed amount of money. Meaning for you to make a lot of money some other people have to not make money like you do. Not everyone’s business will succeed because of that. We can’t make more than the economy has. There can’t be 100 Dangote’s at the same time, e no fit work!

So let people invest in what they know and start from where they understand, with time they will grow! I can bet many here have jobs and are also investing in their Skills and careers! The 10K they invest monthly will be 100K monthly one day and then 1 million one day.

Seems what Barrytone and the other guys keep explaining here is not getting through to people’s head.

Compound interest...Such a beauty:
