Dangerous animals

Descendants of convicts. .worse than being a slave descendant from the Caribbean

It's hot. . don't have winter like america and the uk

There is soo much ignorance here.
(1) Dangerous animals are not domestic, so don't expect to find them in your house.

(2) 30% of Australians were born oversees, i.e. Indian, Nigeria, Europe, etc. more are decendants of immigrants. There is a large percentage of native Australians, who are black. Then there are 5+ generation decendants of British settlers, and decendants of British prisoners.

(3) Most cities in Australia, experience winter...and some of those, experience sub-zero temperature leading to snow. Snow is not necessary a comfortable weather, so people don't look forward to it.

MYER is a clothing store, they will for sure have verified accounts. What they don't have is an investment platform.

This is like a case of someone using MTN's name to sell car tyres. We both know MTN doesn't sell tyres.

I'm answering because I feel you genuinely asked the question.

This is purely a scam. MYER is retail store that sells cloths in Australia. They are NOT an investment platform.

I'm not asking you not to invest, but I can assure you that this is a scam, that will eventually collapse.

Yes, CSS is quite complicated if you need to implement your designs outside of popular frameworks.

Width property defines how wide an element will become while the position algo defines how far or close an an element is relative to its parent container.

I stand to be corrected, I’m still newbie in tech.

Nope, it's not. It's a selfish reasoning.

Opening up other ports in Port Harcourt, warri, calabar and river port in Onitsha is the final solution if they are operated modestly.

This will only worsen traffic situation in Lekki/Ajah axis which is already deplorable

There are roads that lead to out of Lagos from ibeju. They don't need to come down to Ajah or 3rd main land bridge.

This question is synonymous with: do I buy a Honda or a Toyota, or maybe asking to use Gtbank or Zenith Bank.

It is also similar to: Do I go to UI or OAU?

Meaning, it is not about the institution or the car.. it is the student or the driver...ciao

In order words you ignored the data from private institutions where students pay millions of Naira per annum (despite the ridiculous minimum wage) and made your post seem like medical training is cheap all over Nigeria.

Well-done

Bros...I give up on this argument. It seems we are talking about different things. I was talking about government subsidy to medical education. This applies to only Federal, and State universities in Naija. These lot are cheap for medical education by all standards.

I guess what you are talking about some different. Seems we both wasted our time...sorry.

Did this your data include private institutions accredited for studying medicine or you willfully ignored it?

The argument here was about Nigerian government subsidising medical education. Private institutions are not relevant to this discussion. Also, a significant percentage of Nigerian doctors, i'll say over 80+% are from government subsidised institutions.

Ok, what is the average cost of studying medicine in Nigeria?

...please understand my point, not matter how high studying medicine cost in Nigeria, it cant be at par with US.

I ran the numbers with data available on public sites...Nigeria's federal institutions should be charging at least 750,000 Naira to come close to US medical school. This is just basic tuitions.

Now tell me what is the basic medical tuition fee in Naija universities. OAU, UNILAG, etc.

To be honest, I don't know where you are pulling your figures from but the average cost of studying medicine in Nigeria is not what you put out there.

My figures are very approximate, but there is no way in the world you will compare the cost of medical education in US with Naija.

Add up all the variables....minimum wage, cost of living, etc. Naija is multiple folds cheaper...

What do you say about minimum wage?

Medical school is about 10/20x or more US minimum wage....

In Naija, you can pay for medical school with 2/3x minimum wage...Nigeria is one of the cheapest places to study medicine in the whole world.

What if the account number belongs to Jumai, konga, etc. The card could have been used to buy goods on a big site.

The funds might be long gone. There is not much motivations for big banks or companies to follow through with this type of investigations in Naija. Consumer protection is dead in Naija.

He needs to explain it if it has signs of fraud, let's be sensible. If 5,000 was to me by an account that was flagged by EFCC for fraud, I will be block...
