OneCandleAway:Check his past post, and that of his other aliases here to include SadWaste and PrinceOfLagos, to note no day goes by he does not ungraciously attack the SW region or Yoruba people. This is someone of Imo State origin yet living in Lagos. |
Predictor3:What "wokeness"? How about you refrain from talking as if we are in 1862? She is wearing a full-length dress, that even resembles a glamorous wedding gown, that has a body-coloured lining underneath at a photoshhot for her 40th bday. Dude, are you serious? Problem is that most of you are kids lacking the experience and wisdom proper men have had. If you been married and have a wonderful wife who has given you three kids, you would not begrudge her a photoshoot on her birthday where she dons a glamorous but decent dress that makes her feel good on her special day even if she is Mother Teresa. Everything, to include things that should not concern you, Nigerians will ungraciously put judgemental and bad mouth in. Imagine even hinting her marriage failed because of her. Could it not be for a million reasons to do with the husband like infidelity etc? This repellent conduct of you lot would not be so bad if most of you are even virtuous and upright in real life, as you pretend to be, whereas the opposite is 100% the case on the ground. You people should be attacking philandering Pastors like Suleman and his ilk you go and tithe into greater riches, every other day, and not this lady who has done nothing wrong. |
zoedew:Dressing like what exactly? She is not nude, as the full-length dress she is wearing has a body-coloured lining underneath it. Also, that is a photoshoot for her 40th bday. Is she not a human being allowed to be decently glamorous on her most special day of the year? She commits no sin nor crime. You are the one who should look in the mirror honestly for possessing a prejudiced mind eager to rush and judge others wrongly.
|
Globad:It does. You may not know him, but many here do to confirm he hates anything/anyone Yoruba. Check his past posts. Also check the past post of his other usernames here like SadWaste and PrinceOfLagos. There is nothing in the woman's daily conduct or dressing (see below) to validate anyone rushing to call her a "stripper". It is wrong, ungracious and wicked to assassinate character of others like that. Decent and objective people refrain from doing such. Your comment below show you are no better than the person you are defending. For example, does it make sense for a naked person to call himself or herself a pastor. Stop justifying everything. The Bible is clear on so many things but people do selective readingShe is not "naked" and not in church. That was a photograph from a photoshoot for her 40th birthday. She is wearing a full-length dress with a body-coloured lining underneath and clearly not nude. The above you'd know if an objective person who gave her the benefit of the doubt to do basic research rather than think the worst of her as most puritanical and over-religious Christians do. You guys never live and let live and aren't greatly different , in my opinion, to moslem fundamentalists drowning Nigeria in death, terrorism and misery currently.
|
LagosOrigin:That is a photoshoot for her 40th Bday. The outfit has a body-coloured lining underneath so she is not displaying flesh. Also it is a full-length dress. I am not surprised at your ungracious talk though as it is in character for you to use your uncouth mouth to run down anything and anyone Yoruba. It is only confirmed personal conduct, such as immorality and daily scanty dressing, that should warrant anyone calling her the bolded. When both are not her reality, and the second set of images confirms how she dresses daily, what does such say about you and the motivation behind your false accusation against her?
|
RISQUE:Lol. You think I am like you? Anyone can inspect our past posts. Yours will show you are a petty, vindictive, bitter and joyless individual like most Nigerians are or allow themselves to be. While mine defines a poster who gives credit where and to whom due, consistently, regardless of who is involved. Like on the thread below where I never saw many of you, who are shooting your mouth negatively here, show up to commend something that appears transformational for a Nigerian State. Of course you won't. You only want news of killings, death and misery. I have always criticised Bayelsa leadership, including GEJ, for leading the State to a situation where she is near failed considering small population and 13% crude oil extra derivation allocation. You can see, despite that, I am giving Governor Diri credit below and optimistically hoping his plan for optimal electrification of Bayelsa becomes reality. Have you ever done what is shown below I engage in consistently here whether it is on behalf to Niger, Anambra, Enugu or Benue Governor? You can't fake being progressive. Your post will confirm or deny that. You are the one who "isn't okay". You just can't appreciate that. The thread below is always a good litmus test. How many of you hyperventilating negatively here showed up on the thread below? Is that not confirmation most of you are 'damaged' and only love seeking out negativity and misery? https://www.nairaland.com/8528525/bayelsa-state-first-state-nigeria WizardOfNG: WizardOfNG: |
Powersurge:You're arguing without thinking sir. Is it on a thread where a promise made by the Buhari APC Goverment to fully refurbished the National Theatre has been fulfilled to the extent Buhari's APC successor was formally inaugurating the refurbished venue as part of our independence day celebration, you people should be talking about "useless promises"? They promised and delivered, within time, and it makes sense to you and others to prattle on about "useless promises" at an event showing 'promise delivered? Anyway, watch the talk of normal and objective Nigerians below discussing the inauguration of the National Theatre now renamed after Wole Soyinka. Perhaps you will learn something from observing how balances and objective people, who know how to criticise appropriately and commend fittingly, behave. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G65XWWnAjZY?si=DDb57WszGPZHoJLx |
DeepSight:Your words are clear enough. "Paid" is the default accusation your ilk level against others who see and speak positively of what the current Government of Nigeria is doing. You make the crass and ignorantly gaslighting accusation simply because we don't wish to join your constant, irritating and misguided pessimism, plus doom and gloom talk, balanced folks know is steeped in nothing other than ethno-religious hatred of Mr.President. If this is not the case, and as balanced folks would do, we'd see you commend the good leaders do while criticising their failings also. You cannot argue, to any sane person, it is normal or healthy to be wheeling around a badly mangled dead body, that should be at a mortuary, at a wedding reception that guests expect to be about joyous dancing, dining and merriment. |
Thunderfayamods:Thank you. Because of nothing other than hatred of Tinubu, they want every Nigerian to be full of anarchic and depressive thoughts, by deliberately and distractively tainting every good and commendable development with negative thoughts. Well-read folks will know that irratiotional behaviour, carried on constantly and unrelentingly, is usually the precursor of chaos in nations of the world where internecine strife has broken out with devastating consequences. We definitely know this is what some of these people want as they have asked for coup to depose Tinubu, prayed for his assignation and even implored Remi Tinubu poison her husband. If not, why not criticise appropriately and commend when fitting as balanced, objective, patriotic and well-meaning Nigerians would? Why is all that comes from their mouth, even when discussions are about joyous and positive developments, irrelevant and unrelated negative talk? |
kkonyeji:This has nothing to do with preventing anyone "airing their views". It seems you don't read enough, or plan to be successful enough, to know that perpetual pessimism, even when it is totally out of place, is a sign of poor mental health. If some of you are not similar to the poster I initially addressed, you then misguided jumped to defend, you'd see there is no correlation at all with his talk, entirely unneeded also, of foreigners unhappiness at driving from Ikeja to Eko hotel on a thread regarding a national event at the recently fully renovated national Theatre. The place had fallen into decades long sordid disrepair till the Buhari Government and CBN renovated it. If you cannot see good anymore, especially where people are jubilating such, something is wrong and very unhealthy with you. Balanced and mentally healthy people criticise when appropriate and commend when fitting also. |
Max24:God bless you. This is my very point. Many successful people will tell you, also verified by psychologists, that being pessimistic always shows sub-optimal mental health which directly impacts negatively on the ability to make personal progress and gain success. Some of these guys dont appreciate they are mentally unhealthy when they turn every discussion, to include very positive and happy ones, to a downbeat moan-fest. The reality is that it is mentally unhealthy people who use things wrong in life to taint every good and progressive things around them. It is healthy demanding good governance but even healthier having the balance to commend good that leaders have done when it is that good development being discussed.
|
DeepSight:Yes I am "paid" and my children are "hungry". Whatever floats your boat mate. You think you are shading others but to successful folks here, you only reveal your own lowly level, limitations and ambition for thinking everyone on NL is in your situation. |
RISQUE:Are you okay at all? They are talking of an event at the renovated and renewed national.theatre and he is talking about foreigner's going from Ikeja to Wko hotel. What is the correlation for you to assume anyone has stopped him criticising? Where is Ikeja or Eko Hotel mentioned ? The point is that his criticism should be relevant and fitting. |
Commentor:Lol. They are only competent at using lies, wild fabrications, propaganda and fake news to demarket Nigeria. Truth, for knowledgeable and informed folks, to include Ghanaians, is that Nigeria is far better off than Ghana in virtually every aspect bar security and power supply. |
dederocs:Bro, no need for this. We are living in an Information age. Edo is not a Coastal State of Nigeria speaking strictly according to States having direct shoreline access to the Atlantic Ocean which then defines them accurately as coastal State of Nigeria. It is as simple as that.
|
fiercehillz:Correct and not surprising at all because this is what happens when a State is directly affiliated with the ruling Party and able to lobby the FG aggressively for infrastructure projects. |
seunmsg:Of course. Only self-deluding folks will deny the ever increasing influence of Wike in Abuja that is directly linked to his commendable performance as FCT Minister. |
slivertongue:You guys are comical with how your talk shows you don't mean well for Nigeria. Is good performance not rewarded by election wins globally? Is it therefore not plausible, to a logical and balanced person, that Abuja dwellers will vote APC so they can continue enjoying the great work an appointee of the APC, i.e Wike, has delivered as FCT Minister? It is the same way successful Governors have influence swaying voting, for offices at all levels below them, because performance has its direct rewards. I.e winning votes |
SmartPolician:Here we go again. Attacking Tinubu emptily. He attended a function at the recently renovated and now fully functional National Theatre, restored to her old glory. Comment on that and save your negative talk for another thread where such may be relevant and even appreciated. We still have to appreciate good and positive development even in the most bleak of environment/circumstances because that is what motivates humanity to continuously and unrelentingly dedicate efforts towards making things better. |
SmartPolician:What sort of comment is this? Must we always focus on what has gone wrong, or not done, in the past? Can't we embrace optimism and hope for the future considering this occasion itself is a joyous and positive one? Na wa for some of you and the way you seem to let negativity define your thinking and talk 24/7. The National theatre, a pride of Nigeria in the past, had been long neglected and ignored. It's restoration is a thing of joy and positivity and I wonder why you cannot see this and only able to comment negatively. |
Saladdin:You're going in a totally different direction now. My simple point is that Nigeria should appreciate and reward her talented people. This is because there is competition for the best human talent to the extent ambitious nations even make it easy for talented non-indigenes to relocate and join them in their nation to improve it. We can't keep losing our best to those nations and hoping to become great. That's my own focus and not the bolded in your post my thinking never contemplated. |
GadoosGadoo:Their talent is lost to Nigeria but not wasted. Others are utilising it. If we cannot offer our most talented what they deserve then let them serve others for worthy renumeration by all means. If you cannot value what you have then others will. |
seunoyeleyep:Only kids engage in what you are demanding because anybody can claim to be anything online. You forget we are here discussing those who are or want to be Nigerian political leaders because we want them to deliver a better Nigeria for us all. Only someone who does not get that very important point will be demanding to scrutinize the "forefathers legacy" of a fellow Nairalander. Am I, or the poster you first addressed the question to, contesting to be Governor or Lagos? What then concerns you with my "forefathers legacy"? Always remember what is shown below.

AMI3:What record has the mediocre, undistinguished and unproven GRV got to campaign with in comparison to Hamzat, Prof Akin Abayomi and literally the hundred of world class technocrats with relevant administrative experience in Lagos leadership roles ? Lagos State can easily show consistently incremental growth and development, since 1999, that has made it a Nation-State in Africa, a power house in sub-Saharan Africa and the best State in our Country by far. Lagos will then back that up by showing at least 50 super star administrators who are anchors of this success and far, far, far better placed than GRV and others from his real state of origin, I.e Anambra, to be Governor. Talk better abeg. Your brain is there to be used independently and not to be commandeered by unintelligent wannabes like GRV. If you have time, search Nairaland for a thread he used before the 2023 Lagos Guber election, to engage posters here in hope he could profit electorally. Read it and tell me if he is as intelligent as even the local government chairman of the smallest and most unchallenging LG in Lagos. |
seunoyeleyep:You think Nigerians are not wise enough to see beyond the hollow family legacy excuse? What is family legacy when a supposedly legitimate Yoruba from a "traditional Lagos family" cannot speak Yoruba, the tongue of his father, yet speaks Igbos , the dialect of his mother, fluently and has said with his own mouth "I don't think in Yoruba" plus proclaimed support openly for IPOB? Dey deceive yourself with "family legacy" whereas others only see the proverbial lost sheep |
BATified2023:As simple as that. GRV don cast fully in Lagos. I'd be surprised if he gains even 30k votes in the 2027 gubernatorial election. This is even assuming ADC led by Atiku, currently busy shunning Igbos and trying to famz Yorubas, allows a divisive figure like GRV fly the Party's flag in 2027 knowing such will cost ADC Presidential votes in the State from Yoruba voters not willing to hear or accommodate anything to do with Igbos because of GRV's openly anti-Yoruba antics. Atiku and Fulanis no send Igbos and ADC is not labour that Peter Obi managed to use money and seize control of to then dash GRV automatic and uncontested guber ticket in 2023. Atiku I know would rather woo Agbaje or other bonafide Yorubas, not a divisive and polarising wannabe like GRV, to lead his Lagos challenge against APC. |
DatNiggaDaz:Stop pretending to be from the SS. Is DomPerignon, and others who crticise the Igbos for their hypocrisy and two-faced antics, not from the SS? Did you ever condemn how Obi and virtually all SE political/administrative leaders remain silent about the many daily atrocities witnessed daily in ala Igbo yet they can convened a high-powered delegation, literally in seconds, to visit the site of ongoing demolition in Lagos to be shouting "anti Igbo agenda"? Disgracefully, the latest of one of such delegations included Abaribe who is a serving Senator of an SE State yet showed disregard for decorum to go and Partisanly involve himself in a matter of law in Lagos whose elected and appointed administrators have full jurisdictional authority over? Keep fooling yourself thinking others, including many non-Yoruba Nigerians, do not have the commonsense and intellect to discern who the offenders are in the Yoruba v Igbo face-off. |
helinues:God bless you. This same GRV is an open, vocal and shameless backer of IPOB that is a proscribed terrorist group responsible for so many atrocities and summary execution, as we saw Gentle De Yahoo carry out live and streamed to the world. Yet GRV, silent on that condemnable executions and many like it in the SE from his beloved IPOB, is only focused on portraying Lagos in a bad light in hope of profiting electorally. These people are something else Baba and Yorubas, at the risk of sounding clichéd, need to 'ronu'. |
Gerhards:Joke is on you guys. All your effort for Obi amount to a waste of your own time you should be using for productive endeavours to better you life and that of your loved ones. Obi is the Worst and most unworthy candidate, since 1999, to contest to become President of Nigeria. You and OP can continue dreaming. Your talk here, online, remain irrelevant because they won't make Obi President where it matters Offline. |
Ofunaofu:Stop exposing yourself as liar who is also seriously challenged intellectually. You start a thread and you don't want others to comment on the topic linked to your utterance? You should show the forum how many times I have quoted you, aside on this thread that is your own, to make your case. Maybe you think I am one of those you can lie against and won't get exposed foe the deception you lot are fond of. |
