Ofunaofu:Stop exposing yourself as liar who is also seriously challenged intellectually. You start a thread and you don't want others to comment on the topic linked to your utterance? You should show the forum how many times I have quoted you, aside on this thread that is your own, to make your case. Maybe you think I am one of those you can lie against and won't get exposed foe the deception you lot are fond of. |
Ofunaofu:Crystal clear DomPerignon lives rent free in yours. Much worse for you because it is normal and in order for a Nigerian, as DomPerignon does, to expose the deficiency of a Presidential candidate they do not want to become their President. In fact it is a legitimate right for a Nigerian and Stakeholder in Nigeria. What is your excuse for stalking a fellow Nairalander? |
CharlotteFlair:Yes of course. If it is another Nigeria that exists in a parallel universe and certainly not the one I am typing from right now. |
Lol. DomPerignon living rent free in the heads of Obidient to the extent they have to create a thread exclusively about him to weep about his savaging of their Agulu messiah. Long live DomPerignon. Please press their head harder. Nothing more pleasurable in life than severe painment for Obidients.😎 |
mascot87:You don't know Nigerians bro. They are far worse, more wicked, more dramatic, more deceitful, more prejudiced more dishonest, more prone to lying and more corrupt than their leaders yet they demand utopia from same leaders. |
Lionnation:Destroyed what livelihood? Let's not lie to ourselves here to appear politically correct in public. Of course there will be cases of unscrupulous and corrupt LASG officials deliberately delivering planning consent commission they know are not approved became they contravene specific rules. Yet, as someone who dabble in property development, I know those who do due diligence, and are not trying to circumvent building planning provisions for their own greedy pursuit, will 100% get legitimate LASG approved planning consent for their building projects and never fall victim of scammers to include those who officially work for Lagos Government. The truth is that this is about the greed of Igbos, for material acquisition, that then drives their belief money and bribe of representatives of Government circumvents everything. They then willingly get in bed with rogue LASG official knowing the risk yet ignoring such because of the huge financial rewards they are anticipating. This is something I have never done let alone be making victim noise as Igbos alone are doing today shouting "wicked Yoruba agenda", over court-approved property demolition, as if they are innocent to begin with. We're you on Mars when the 21 storey Tower that collapsed in Ikoyi, owned by Yoruba property developer Femi Osibona, led to a massive investigation that revealed Osibona had compromised original building plans giving consent for less floors of the Tower than the 21 he attempted to build? When the unscrupulous antics of Osibona was revealed, which Yoruba did you see defending him and blaming rogue Lagos State officials when, as reasonable people Yorubas are, we understand the rule is always "Caveat emptor" i.e "buyers beware" in the case of those seeking building consent. Read below to note how Osibona even threatened LASG building consent inspectors with Dog when they wanted to gain access to inspect ongoing work same as how Lagos insist your people beat up inspectors who showed up to enforce rulings the State has given ample notices over. Stop the gaslighting and learn to curb greed, refrain from compromising set/clear building consent guidelines , plus follow due process, and you people will always be okay. Don't do the wrong things, as I personally know you are fond of doing because of greed, such as selling fake drugs and drinks, to then begin playing victims https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/510981-ikoyi-building-collapse-how-femi-osibona-prevented-officials-from-accessing-site-official.html?tztc=1

FarahAideed:Why are you Nigerians so quarrelsome and difficult? Of course it matters to investigators if she died jumping from height or was shot by an assailant. In any investigation related to fatal violent crime, cause of death of victims must be recorded precisely be that gunshot wound, knife cut or fall from height. Why then must such be different with Nigeria? They confirmed she jumped from the third floor of a building trying to flee armed robbers. Perfectly plausible and something any of us can do in a heightened state of panic hearing gunshots around us. Whether you like it or not, for the sake of presenting accurate statement of cause of death, the police cannot be emotional like you to state "she was murdered by bandits" if that is not the case factually. RiP to to the deceased. Tragic and sad to read of a promising Nigerian cut short in their prime. |
cucumbar:Yes we are shaking in fear of hands of those who need us and our region for everything, while we need them and their five plots of land for nothing at All, "touching" us "one day". Lol |
lexxwiz:Guy, why are you people horrendously prejudiced beyond redemption? The article, you clearly did not read as a prejudiced person who has already decided who the guilty Party is, made it clear this is not a case of Lagos "went straight and demolished all of it" as you claim. This constant and belligerent face-off against the Yorubas you are always seeking from time immemorial, stemming from how you guys have never stopped seeking proxy wins against Yorubas because of your civil war loss you blame us for, will never end well for you. We need nothing from you but you need us and our SW goods and services markets, with the wealthiest purchasing power in Nigeria , for everything to include the sustenance of your families back in the SE. Lie and gaslight all you want. The situation, because you people can never be reasonable and moderate, will only degenerate into a cold war of protectionism of Yorubas against Igbos and vice versa in our respective regions. Who wins that battle? I am sure even a smart 8 year old, privy to relevent info and facts, can answer that question in a second. Keep allowing your self-serving and divisive elements (like Obi, Kanu, Abaribe etal) lead you up the garden path. We will see how things pan out. Here are the facts of the matter: The owners of the building have no approval. They got ample time to regularise their papers when the state government declared last year a general amnesty, which was extended several times. The owners shunned the offer. |
Richtaiwo:Imagine Abaribe, a lawmaker of a South East State, marauding the streets of Lagos contentiously over a very sensitive matter considering he is a sitting legislator of a State outside Lagos meaning he should understand the need to respect jurisdictional limit as a serving Senator. This is why Alia, Okpebolo etal never want Obi in their State. They know he wishes to visit to divisively whip up negative sentiments against sitting Governments so he can profit electorally come 2027. What is shown below is crystal clear enough for sane and reasonable Nigerians . Yet these people alone, and their irresponsible leaders, continue on the war path with Yorubas with claims they know are false and incendiary yet hope can bring political gains. I am glad this is happening. Let even the most liberal Yorubas see what is shown below whether they will not agree Obi and his co-travellers are divisive rabble rousers. Here are the facts of the matter: The owners of the building have no approval. They got ample time to regularise their papers when the state government declared last year a general amnesty, which was extended several times. The owners shunned the offer. When Physical Planning officials visited the complex, the gates were locked against them; they were beaten up. The police rescued them. When the government called the owners for talks, they said they would not come; they did not come. Physical Planning and building approvals are within the remit of State Governments. Under the Nigerian Urban and Regional Planning Act (1992, as domesticated by Lagos State’s Physical Planning and Development Regulations), all physical development in any part of Lagos must obtain planning permit/approval from the Lagos State Government through its Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development. |
The bolded, below, is the Koko of the matter and I think every Nigerian know those who are emotional and full of histrionics. The anarchic State of affairs in their region today is testimony to how they are not interested in societies governed by law every member of society is duty-bound to respect and abide by. We must decide the kind of society we want - one governed by law or one run by emotions, fueled by political interests. |
MSGAMBLE9:We know proven facts and reality matter nought to you people but do some of you not realize your are disgracing yourselves talking like toddlers thinking you are taunting Yorubas? Even if Yorubas form 100% of the population of Kwara, what do you want Yorubas in the SW to do for them when, per the seperate geopolitical region of Nigeria they in, we cannot protect them under RRS in Lagos and Amotekun in all the other SW States? Do you think we are lawless and senseless like those destroying themselves and their region, claiming to be fighting Fulanis, to then senselessly and lawlessly march to Kwara with illegally imported arms to fight Fulanis in some 'liberation war'? Or you think we are like those quick to claim indigenes of other States outside their region they insist are affiliated with them by ethnicity all for the purpose of land grab? Nigeria has laws and set provisions for how regions and States relate under individual Governors and regional Governors associations. You all saw how the Yorubas set example for the entire Nigeria creating Amotekun when the menace of Fulani-related insecurity threatened our region. It is up to the Governors of the North Central Region to set up their own Amotekun-like outfit and not up to Yorubas in the SW to liberate their ethnic affiliates in another region. If Kwara was in the SW this would not be happening to them. Simple as that. Otherwise you should confess to us why loudmouths here did not go and tackle Wike in Rivers State when, as Governor, he cleared and 'neutralised' many IPOB menaces who wanted to entrench criminality in his State. Fact is that Kwara is in North Central or Middle belt region under different political and administrative jurisdictional leadership that has nothing to do with the SW. You lot can keep talking about some war from 3000 years ago where Yorubas lost this and that in Kwara but Yorubas, a rational and law abiding people, live in the reality of today that involves their lawful engagement with Nigeria and her other regions. We are never exporters of criminality, death or lawlessness to other regions of Nigeria as some shameful members of the four biggest ethnic groups of Nigeria are.. We cannot be like others who have scant regard for the law or even commonsensical awareness of right and wrong to the extent such has always got them in major trouble from time immemorial to today when they are under heavy yoke from killer like Gentle de yahoo etal. The major issue is and will always be that you expect the Yorubas to think, reason and act as irrationally, emotionally and egotistical as you have always done and will always do. |
Godfullsam:You'd be wasting your time bro. Established facts and proven reality are to those people what a stake or Crucifix is to a Vampire. They don't ever want to see facts and reality let alone deal with them. |
makapella:I think the airport is needed because it is not for human traffic alone. Benue state is often referred to as the food basket of Nigeria for its vast and arable land able to grow numerous cash crops that can bring considerable developmental wealth to Benue and Nigeria. A dedicated agro-export arm of the planned airport can do wonders for Benue per her natural agricultural endowment if the State gains the capacity to efficiently package and export agricultural produce worldwide.

SonOfDSoil01:Bro, just look at history and you will see how their emotional approach to life and their lack of commonsense (worsened by their disregard for facts, reality and the position of the law) has always gotten them in big trouble. You organise a Coup to murder the leaders of the North because you wanted to take over Nigeria. Duh ... commonsense indicate a brutal and vengeful counter coup will be the obvious repercussion of that action because Northerners are plentiful in the Nigerian army and have guns too !!! Same with how, because of Azikiwe, secession is outlawed by our Constitution and deemed an act of treason. Yet Ojukwu callously, and with total disregard for the position of the law, declared Biafra. Of course commonsense dictates that war is the repercussion of that lawlessness which then naturally resulted in Igbos being the biggest victims of the civil war and still crying about the consequences of that war they brought upon themselves till today. Ditto how they cheered Kanu when he formed so many militia groups, outlawed by the Nigerian constitution, and imported guns for illiterate cultist, criminals, murderers and rapists to use. Which person with even the commonsense of a smart ten year old will not predict Kanu's lawlessness will lead to the pathetic situation of the SE today? I could go on all day highlighting their major acts of self-harm. Yet they continue to talk and shout daily to malign the SW and compare themselves with Yorubas who have it together admirably and are yet to make one majorly fatal mistakes, since the Nigerian union begin, yet they have made countless? Obvious where the lack of commonsense and disregard for facts, reality and the rule of law will lead a man. I.e self-destruction always. |
Elusive001:This is the thing with you guys. I.e your lack of capacity to think and argue like intelligent and logical adults. Nigerian political leaders make unity statements all the time because that 'one Nigeria' politically expedient talk is what they have to deliver to gain votes that allows them control the centre. Can you accuse Atiku of being a slave of Yorubas when he recently pledge that Yoruba will dominate his cabinet? Why did he not say Igbos? The answer is obvious. He knows Yorubas are the people to court from the South, along with the moderate SS, If he wishes to be President. What intelligent and rational people will look at , if we wish to discern who the "slaves" of Fulanis are , since the topic fascinates you lot 24/7, is the actions of leaders in the Southern region when Nigeria has faced existentialist threat from Fulanis. This is where it quickly becomes crystal clear that , minus Yoruba leaders and left to Igbo leaders alone, then the South would be fully annexed by Fulanis today. Who had the balls to fight Buhari and Malami to birth Amotekun? When will your leaders have the balls to do what is shown below while you frustrated street level Negroes, with no executive powers, shout Biafra daily? https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/%3famp
|
SonOfDSoil01:Comical bro. Imagine the number of times we have see their leaders hide underneath the skirt of of their wives while Nigeria faced existentialist challenges with only Yorubas standing up to defy the North. They are just a people who have no allowance for proven facts and established reality in their lives and this is why they always make big and very costly mistakes Yorubas have never made. |
LagosOrigin:Lol. Who defied Fulani militia herdsmen menace and their backers in Government, when their fatal criminality got to an unacceptable level under Buhari, to form Amotekun that set precedence for the south while your Governors hid behind their wives skirt? Who is visiting Gumi, Pantami, Malami etal (all extremists in one way or the other) to prostrate slavishly if not you messiah Obi? Lastly, are those your SE Governors below, all the way back in 2021, who bravely defied PMB, their own APC Party President bar Makinde of PDP , to show the SW is no slave of the North while the entire SE leadership, at all levels, in your land hid their faces? As I will always say, proven facts and well-documented reality means nothing to you guys let alone such can ever be capable of influencing your talk and reasoning. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/swest-govs-propose-six-regions-demand-lg-autonomy-resource-control/%3famp

MrGerald:Check the link below featuring the talk of one of the sanest and most pragmatically rational Igbo alive. Fellow Nairalanders, check out the content of the link below and play to our brethren from the SE when they start there emotional and commonsense-deficient talk as dude in video explicitly cites. I.e the lack of commonsense in Igbo land. https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSDcbEypa/ |
Lol.who else has noticed Atiku was happy to reside in Dubai and say nothing at all about the atrocities under Buhari for 8 years yet virtually no single day, since Tinubu was sworn in, he has not spoken in efforts to convince Nigerians that PBAT is the personification of evil and wickedness. Should we talk about how Fulani banditry and herdsmen militia menace became an ugly mainstay of Nigerian existence, across our entire nation, under Buhari and his Fulani rulership cabal? Yet Atiku remained silent about all that ugliness now exposed about Buhari that reveals he was a hands-off and aloof figurehead who abetted insecurity and let so many plunder Nigeria to a level that has made Tinubu's job horrendously more difficult than any Nigerian President should inherit. All this for the sake of becoming President? Honestly, Northern leaders like Atiku truly leave a bad taste in the mouth of decent, discerning, exposed, intelligent and progressive folks. |
PDPdestroyer:Thank you. You are so right. They're always deleting my posts and banning me. At least 4 times a day. Some of us 'hit too hard' with facts, truth and incisive logic than they are capable of accepting or dealing with. They all start hyperventilating while those with the power, like Mods, abuse said power to ensure posts they are very uncomfortable with, because such reveal the truth about them and their tin God Obi, is hidden and the poster banned.. I have even resorted to taking screenshots of my post now to show the forum the sinister attempt of "triggered mods" to muzzle me and my post that do not break any rules. Glad you are up to speed with the reality of NL and what Seun in his 'wokeness' ( another word for self-destruction) has created. |
Zaphnath1:Okay. My bad if I misunderstood you. My sincere apologies. |
Wispower:You people are always too sensitive about Obi, as if he is an untouchable God, to the extent you never see the point others are making per how he is a terrible leader and person. When the whole IPOB, UGM, ESN lunacy began, Obi backed them blindly rather than stand firmly, as real leaders would do, against what he should have the vision to know will will destroy the SE beyond redemption. Why do you never see equivalent responses of other leaders in the SW for example? When some SW Oduduwa Republic agitators in Oyo donned combat fatigue to initiate violent agitation, Seyi Makinde, Governor of the State, moved swiftly to arrest and deal with them to the extent the episode never escalated and other Yoruba leaders like Tinubu etal did not even have to intervene let alone say pim. Contrast with the SE where so many of your leaders have the intelligence to know the future horror Kanu and co were cooking portended for the SE yet they kept silent or, in the case of Obi, even became character referee for IPOB members. You people have a long way to go so far as you remain emotional always and cannot see you have a problem let alone open yourselves to understanding that you can learn from others like how Yorubas and their leaders approach issues proactively, pragmatically and with clear critical thoughts, rather than sentiments and emotions, to forestall evil overrunning their land. Some of us mention Obi for nothing other than the adage "to whom much is given, much is expected ". You have all adopted this highly flawed, bigoted and patently incompetent character and failed Governor as the face of Igbo politics yet he cannot rise to the occasion to give the SE Kwame Nkurmah and Awolowo-like inspirational leadership. Instead he ignores and/or endorses what/who are killing Igbo people and society to always be talking about events in the SW, North etal. Just show me one instance Obi has commented on the horrendous video showing Gentle de Yahoo execute three young Igbo male. If that is not cowardly, irresponsible and callous dereliction of duty and responsibility to the SE and Igbo people then I don't know what is. Keep following him blindly. You lot have a history of doing that to your own detriment anyway. I.e blindly following your hate preachers, unstable characters, violent elements , agents of anarchy and the most unworthy in your society till they lead you off the edge of the cliff to your doom. Like Nzeogwu, Azikiwe, Aguiyi Ironsi, Ojukwu, Kanu, Ekpa, Chinasa Nworu, Peter Obi, Ikonso, Gentle de Yahoo etc, etc, etc. Good luck to you lot. |
ElSudani:And this is when you know a region and people are truly finished. I.e when ordinary people , whether as willing accomplices or victims suffering from Stockholm syndrome, are assisting evil insurgency as is the case with the North and SE today. |
casualobserver:Well-said. As simple as that. Can you image how they focused on names of donor alone regarding the noble effort of Remi Tinubu to raise fund privately , towards the 100 billion Naira required, that will assist the full completion of the Nigerian National Library, abandoned since 2006 under four Presidents till today, with her husband Mr.President also committing to contribute 40 billion Naira from FG purse? The fact that the completion of this library, designed to be the biggest and most grand in Africa, and a centre of intellectual pursuit and excellence, is a noble, nationally-beneficial and productive pursuit is of no concern to them. Their sole mission is to push the narrative that a noble and needed project, that is befitting of the biggest black nation on earth and abandoned almost 20 years ago now, should only retain focus on exposing private donor whereas fund-raising, in this case, is allowed to be private. Ordinary Nigerians, and their wicked souls, are the problem of Nigeria. |
esnbrutality:Sigh. Just like trying to have a conversation with a toddler. Again, enjoy the video below showing what your region has become while you continue claiming the much saner and safer States and region of others are "gone". Have a nice day. 😎 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YdIKDF0XF4?si=QuQKKdruDOKK2oOc |
faceland:Did I create the tag North Central geopolitical zone or did you miss the image in the post you quoted before you rushed to speak, reproduced below, which shows North Central is a longstanding categorisation of a geopolitical zone of Nigeria ?
|
esnbrutality:Lol. Your "is gone" talk are nothing but malevolent projections of what you wish to see rather than verifiable statement of facts. Continue marauding Nairaland daily looking for who to tell your lies to while Igbos are executing other Igbos on camera to show it is the SE that is truly gone and beyond redemption leading her people to flee enmasse daily to sojourn permanently in the States you claim are "gone". How is what is seen below, of Gentle de Yahoo, different from how Shekau of Boko Haram, who viewed himself a God as you own IPOB lot also do, used to brag and commit atrocities publicly before his death? Have you even see what is shown below from"gone" SW, your people flee to permanently daily be it Ogun or Osun and even Ekit plus Ondo, yet it is your SE where this is happening daily that is sane? Lol. Comical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YdIKDF0XF4?si=QuQKKdruDOKK2oOc |
esnbrutality:Which of my house exactly is burning? That in Lagos, Ogun or anywhere else in the SW? The SW has six States of Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ondo. Is Kwara included? One must ask when you malevolent lot will stop trying to demonize others with your wholesale disregard for truth, facts and reality. Condemnable as the situation is in Kwara, and even with the presence of many Yorubas there, it is not a SW State for the purpose of geopolitical intervention. It is why Kwara does not have Amotekun and falls under the North Central development commission and not South West development commission. You people are the most divisive and propagandist mischief-makers in Nigeria always looking to show that others are in the same problem you caused yourselves and you will even attach Kwara, Kogi etal to make this redundant claim the SW is in similar problems with the SE. Yet read below and understand that States classified under the North Central geopolitical zone , i.e Kwara and Kogi, cannot be the responsibility of the SW because Yorubas live there, nor can we be accused of abandoning Yorubas there when they are covered by the North Central development commission and the North Central Governors commission and North Central religious, political and cultural leaders. How facts and reality matter little to you guys should be a subject to be studied in psychology.
|
Ezmans:You people are quick to mention Kwara without the honesty to admit Kwaran are dealing with Fulani bandit marauders and not a situation of wanton murder of Kwarans by Kwarans as is the case with you lot. I.e the aberrant situation in the SE where it is Igbos, claiming to be fighting to protect their fellow Igbos from Fulani marauders, now killing, imprisoning and subjugating their fellow Igbos. Hypocrites always point one finger at others and four points back towards them. |
