You decided to murder a guy who said "come let's talk". I don't know when airing your view becomes a thing to kill someone for.
Far worse is going on in Nigeria where Boko Haram, ISWAP, Militant Fulani herdsmen, bandits etal murder fifty people in one go.

At least the USA and others deal with fundamentalist killers while we indulge and "rehabilitate" them.

Yes please by all means!! Terrorists are cold blooded and don't give a damn about the people they are torturing or debasing. It's true. So these kinds of human beings like you said can only be neutralized because they may not even want to surrender at all. I use to enjoy this programme criminal minds a very interesting tv drama that shows how the Behavioural Analysis unit of the FBI usually carries out systematic profiling of criminals. In some of those series such cold blooded personalities were clearly revealed. Just look at how policemen are wasted.... such killers too are dangerous psychopaths.....na wao...
Same here. Engaging viewing. Yes terrorists are not to be played with. Tragic that it is in Nigeria we do not understand that.

But these killers are really could blooded. They are heartless to say the least. Just look at this man. Looking calm and cool but on a mission to end another person's life. No matter what I think we all are entitled to air or express our opinions and not be intolerant. Justice will catch up with the person who feels they can end other people's lives. Let's watch and see....
Not cold-blooded alone. They are terrorist in mentality. Individuals who are terrorist have the fundamental desire to silence others they disagree with and feel they are justified killing.

That is what we are facing in Nigeria and it is crucial to understand those sort can't be reasoned with or viewed as normal. The strategy must revolve around stopping/neutralising them.

overwhelming majority of crimes in the United States are not solved. Don't let Hollywood deceive you
Who is ignorant of the high rate, for example, of unsolved gang-related homicides in the USA? Yet, how many times have those who commit heinous public assassinations not being caught/stopped?

Like the manhunt for Beltway sniper pair of John Allen Muhammed and Lee Boyd Malvo plus Christopher Dorner pursuit and others.

If America cares enough, and justice must be seen to be done, the offender will usually have nowhere to hide in a manhunt.

Unilke when black gang-bangers in Chicago are unaliving themselves and the decision, never made public, is usually "dont waste money on it".

This is a national challenge to the USA the country will feel it cannot lose. Not black drug dealers killing each others.

Some of you are the ones viewing things emotionally because USA does not normally fail per manhunts it needs to resolve to show the world the worst monsters will always be caught.

The psychology behind the action of the US revolves around the level of the crime, and status/importance of the victim, that then means it is vital for the USA to bring the culprit to justice to show the world the worst monsters don't evade America justice.

Vance, Trump etal have given eulogies to this guy and you people think his assassination is similar to low level murders that won't be solved because not many care if they are?

Did the USA not get Osama Bin Laden? Please educate yourself. I am no Hollywood fan. I look at proven and historical facts to note established patterns.

What you dont account for is the fact is that crime solving has priority levels in the USA according to race, wealth, societal status, position etc of victim.

Joker. When an offender's crime is nationally grave and condemnable, there will be no hiding place for them against the ruthless hunt all USA security and crime-fighting agencies will launch.

Let's see how this will play out. I am confident you will eat your words. How many manhunts, for the worst public enemies, has the USA failed to resolve? Especially if the suspect is inside the US border?

The pictures, for investigative purposes, are clear and definitive. He will definitely be identified. After that, he will be caught soon or he will kill himself to escape capture.

That's the only two option per how events will go down from this point on. USA is the most ruthless nation in the world per pursuit of an individual deemed 'public enemy number one' which is this guy at the moment.

Govt proposed VAT to be paid at the point of sales, they wailed and kicked against it. Wailing at this point is their default mode.
Because they are covetous expansionist and land grabber always desperate to commandeer the asset, land, riches and political/public administration rulership over others anywhere they go , if allowed, be that Ghana, South Africa or SW Nigeria.

State/regional policing is a must. We have a governance system that is the near mirror image of that of the USA that has hosted State policing from time immemorial.

Even the UK, with parliamentary system of governance, has County policing covering counties of the UK. Eg Metropolitan police (London), Essex police, Sussex police etc, etc, etc.

We cannot continue as things stand. Insecurity is too much and it is obvious this is so because our toxic ethnic difference and dislike of each other means the NPF will never perform optimally even if she has a million members.

Rubbish. The guys on the show are pathetic. The dark side of social media is that it allows ignorant and sadistic people to mock others for entertainment because human beings, generally, are more interested in negative and controversial news.

Meaning a lot of commentators on social media try to be as negative, as controversial and as baiting possible.

Sure Nigeria has security challenges but many part of it are relatively safe. Safer than some areas in certain so-called developed nations of the world.

Chris the authentic traveller, Oyinbo blogger with a Nigerian wife, has started a business organising leisure tours to Nigeria for foreigners.

The guy is super passionate about Nigeria and her possibilities yet it is Nigerians themselves always agreeing with clowns who simply want to be negative about us to feed trolling stereotypes and get likes/followers for themselves. Pathetic.

Bro, they are hypocritical anarchists always wanting the baby cut in half, and thus killed, if the whole Baby (Presidency of Nigeria or Governorship of Lagos) cannot be awarded to them.

You forget Kanu instructing his IPOB lynch mod, during #EndSARS, to burn Lagos, Kill Tinubu and Sanwo Olu Etal, destroy the business premises of Lagos business and political leaders etc yet he commanded same people not to bring any protest chaos or damage to the SE.

Hе dud not want damaging #EndSARS protest in the SE, that hosted the dreaded Awkuzu SARS that is the worst and most evil SARs unit in Nigeria by far, yet he charged protesters to burn down Lagos.

Bottom line is that virtually all Nairalanders can show examples of the radicalised and fundamentalist menace of Obidients that is very dangerous for the peace and socio-economic progress of Nigeria.

Is it not an Obidient, Chinasa Michael, who went to burn down a BRT park in Lagos, at the instigation of Nnamdi Kanu, showing that IPOB fundamentalism = Obidient mentality and movement?

Then why are you people not supportig Igbos with to separate? why do you people hate MNK?

You people are one side fighting the people who want a separate country and here you are saying you want a separate country, look at the double mouth, if you hate Biafra and MNK then you are not serious about having separate country...
How many times must you people be told that, because of Azikiwe, secession is outlawed and an act of treason according to the Nigerian constitution?

Where Yorubas are different to you people is that we are law-abiding, work with reality and are cognisant of the saying "insanity is doing the same thing over and over to expect a different outcome".

If you know and understand that secession is outlawed by our Constitution, as Yorubas know and accept, then whey continue pursuing it under lawless and anarchic individuals like Kanu, Ekpa etal when it is only a change in our constitution, enacted by our legislators, that will grant you Biafra?

Why not support the option of regional autonomy, which is more or less the Biafra you seek in all but name?

We have hosted regional autonomy before to note it will be fairly feasible to achieve unlike the secession you tout that frightens the daylight out of Northerners because , naturally, they feel unprepared for the balkanisation of Nigeria.

Yet you people keep talking and acting self-destructively following your dead-on-arrival MASSOB, IPOB etal route, from time immemorial, and closing your minds to the viable option of regional autonomy as an acceptable alternative to secession.

See, you guys are not smart or emotionally intelligent. You don't understand how to be circumspect and think pragmatically and that is why many of you here on Nairaland daily touting the totally wrong claim that "Yorubas don't want us to leave".

By staying in their land the most, of the major ethnic groups and developing cultures and way of life other Nigerians migrate to the SW to enjoy, does this not prove beyond doubt Yorubas are best placed to succeed if on their own?

Does that not show, of the major ethnic groups, it is Yorubas that need others least if everyone has to answer their father's name?

Is it Yorubas trading across Nigeria, as you Igbos do, to the extent the SW will flatline, as the SE would, if those Yoruba traders no longer have access to the markets outside the SW, as would be the case for SE traders, if Nigeria is balkanised?

You guys don't think before you talk and you don't introspect before you agitate for secession due to your innate disposition for blaming others for all your woes.

Yorubas understand that regional autonomy allows everyone to enjoy what is good and advantageous about Nigeria, our large population and market for example, while regions can still enjoy self-paced progress unimpeded by 'One Nigeria' retrogression.

If you Igbo's noise of Biafra is not fraudulent and insincere, masking a hidden agenda, then why continue redundant secession grandstanding when you should be agitating for achievable regional autonomy that will give you freedom over your affairs in the SE similar to what you'd have of a separate nation?

Vitally, under regional system of governance, your people, traders by nature, would still maintain amicable trading relationship across Nigeria as would be near impossible to do if you had a separate Biafra nation.

Crystal clear you guys are not sincere and not progressive whereas the Yorubas are.

Don't pay attention to that character. His mission is to be unprogressive and backwards always. Of course regional autonomy was successful whereas our 'one Nigeria' self-delusion has been a big failure that has ensured no region has developed optimally meaning all of Nigeria is stagnant and ridiculously backwards in comparison to other nations.

Whereas the main negative cited against regional system of Governance was that development of regions was uneven with the likes of the SW and SE making headway while the North lagged behind.

Yet, that is no excuse for all of us, especially ambitious and progressive regions, to endure with 'one Nigeria' patent failings only breeding insecurity, poverty, criminality everywhere, illiteracy and underdevelopment/stagnation nationally.

Under regional system, it is regions like the North that must change it's view and approach to life to be as successful as others. It is not for Yorubas and others to be trapped in 'one Nigeria'' madness that forever condemn all of us, and our generations unborn, to failure.

Well written

But you clearly are ignorant on the sharia matter.
Many south west Muslims are not finding social happiness because they are forced under a Christian marriage act, there are no Sharia panels to adjudicate on matter like marriage for them
The right thing is to allow them have a sharia panel as enshrined in their religion to adjudicate in cases that require their rulings.

Many Christians because they don't really understand Islam don't know they are denying Muslims their right by being opposed to things. Like this that a Muslim needs to achieve spiritual fulfillment .
Bro, stop right there. You are the ignorant one, unexposed to boot also, per your argument over Sharia. I am deliberate in talk and hardly ever ignorant regarding issues I speak about.

Nigeria is a secular Nation that should operate under common law from when we became a federal republic and henceforth. It is as simple as that.

That was how it was and It was only OBJ's political capitulation that allowed Sharia to be initially and formally introduced in Zamfara circa 1999 leading to more States of the North adopting it.

Look at the reality of Turkey, below , viewed an Islamic nation. They understand the need, with a modern nation that wishes to succeed, for all citizens to live under common law to discourage disunity, religious unrest, seditious incitement and potential disrespect for the laws of the land as we are seeing ruining the North today where Nigeria, as a nation, wants her children educated while some extremist decree "Boko Haram" i.e western education is forbidden.

How many progressive and developed nation of the world have you been to or lived in? I was born in one and lived there majority of my life. There is no mainstream nation of the world I have not visited in Europe, North America and even Asia where I holidayed in Tokyo for two weeks.

I see what obtains everywhere, contributory to their success, that only highlights how regrettably backwards and self-destructive Nigeria and Nigerians are.

Nothing like Sharia in the UK and never will be because a land must operate under one legal and court system. If Moslem in Britain insist on living under Sharia then they can relocate to strict Islamic nations like Afghanistan or Iran.

You cannot punish any Briton under Sharia openly because British laws takes precedence as should be the case with Nigeria. In Britain there are no formal Sharia courts of law with the authority to issue legally binding judgement.

Your talk proves precisely why nations like Britain, though hosting people of different race, ethnicity and religious worship, succeed whereas Nigeria has gone backwards and is today drowning in terrorism, fundamentalism and violence/killings driven by hatred and intolerance for others and their religion.

Break the country into regions with regional ministers.
Simple. Only redundant and self-delusional thinkers believe one man being President, however talented, can turn Nigeria into Dubai overnight.

We are very different people, with completely unalignable differences and ways of life, that will never be reconcilable.

This means we will always be enemies of each other's progress because we want starkly contrasting and very different things.

Those who want State-sponsored welfarism will do all in their power, when in charge of the Presidency, to frustrate others who believe in private sector-led and innovative/competitive free market democracy.

Those who want religion to dominate statecraft will endorse such when controlling the Presidency to the detriment of those who value secularity in national administration.

Clue to the above is how it was the North most vocally supportive of the effort of some misguided Yorubas to establish Sharia Court in Oyo.

See below to note it was Sultan of Sokoto passionately backing the establishment of Sharia Court in Oyo and Ekiti. What would such a character do if President other than enforce it and then destroy forever the exemplary religious tolerance , from time immemorial, Yorubas have been praised for globally?

https://guardian.ng/news/sultan-backs-sharia-law-in-oyo-ekiti/#google_vignette

President General, Nigeria Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) and Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has expressed support for the establishment of an Independent Shariah Arbitration Panel in Ekiti and Oyo States.

The sultan also expressed concern about what he said is the high spate of intolerance and disregard for the rights of Muslims, especially in the southern part of the country.
According to the Sultan, it is "spate of intolerance and disregard for the rights of Muslim" yet he does not have the humility to accept Yorubas in the majority, Moslems and Christians, do not want not want Sharia Court because we are happy with the status quo we worked hard to establish.

The best thing that can happen is for Nigerians to accept they are very different and thus want different things.

After that we must unitedly reject "One Nigeria' fraud we use to decieve ourselves because such only benefit the elite and ruling class raping the centre to the detriment of ordinary Nigerians.

Next move, if Nigerians in general are discerning and truly seeking progress , should then be uncompromising agitation for us all to go our seperate way per the bolded in your post.

Nigeria, as currently convened, is destined to fail and worsen.

Do the bots sleep as well that they wait till the next morning do scan messages and then stack bans one after the other? Clearly some mods are banning people retrospectively and using the bot as cover (or at least the not ban message).

I just accept the fact that I spend too long on here anyway so use that opportunity to do other things.
My opinion also. I don't know of your experience but most of my "bot" bans, when I have even been extra careful to use 'acceptable' talk, has been in face-offs with Igbo posters who are insultive against me personally, or Yorubas generally, yet suffer no consequences.

Whereas my polite response to tackle their idiocy is banned by the "bot". Go figure.

I label GRV "untalented mediocrity" and was banned. Yet they will call Tinubu drug lord, Escobar and all manners of despicable things yet get away with it.

What sort of "bot" is that? Clearly a human and partisan one selecting who to ban and who to indulge.

It is Seun I blame for his naivete and lack of pragmatic intellect. Check the ethnicity of the composition of MODs and you'd understand.

I don't have time for frivolities but I also know, factually and proven beyond doubt, those who live and breathe bigotry to understand that their predictable discriminatory and prejudiced behaviour will be a problem whenever they are placed in position of control/power over other Nigerians.

As if Dangote, after investing billions, does not know what their game is. I am a businessman and have to deal with Government offices for clearance documents needed for exporting certain restricted items.

I know what I face with everyone literally trying to put their hands in my pocket because they believe "money plenty and he must drop for us".

I was even informed by one worker I retain to act in my interest that a senior Government official was googling the worth of the specialised export I deal with.

Obviously to note it's worth overseas so he can have an idea of an amount to blackmail me for. Lo and behold, after his 'research', he withheld my shipment whereas all documents and approvals were valid.

He said nothing for two weeks over a consignment my business was duty bound to have delivered to the USA within five working days meaning I was running the risk of contract breach if I cannot explain the delay. He did not care .

It was my internal guy there, that I drop for regularly because I know the Nigerian reality, who informed me about their decision to extort me.

See how wicked and demonic Government parastatals are? Whereas they are full of lazy thinkers and extortionists who don't have the balls, intellect or talent to step away from their Government salary to go and risk it all as the likes of Dangote and myself, on a much smaller level, do every single damn day.

In the end, I still had to drop for the particular guy who withheld my shipment. A tragedy considering all documents and approval were secured already.

Beyond their "we are doing due diligence" talk in public they are blackmailing you privately to comply with their demands or they make life hard for you and your business interest.

We know the reality of Nigeria top to bottom. Those who don't wish progress for Nigeria can keep playing games. I have no time for such pathetic folks.

Thanks for your input here. They've been refreshing to read.

That is their choice and not an example Dangote is obligated to follow. Exxon Mobil Mobil is a global and multinational conglomerate while Dangote group is a Nigerian multinational conglomerate.

We Saw Ajaero, a glorified political lackey masquerading as a Labour leader, demand a ludicrous amount as minimum wage he knew was never feasible only to then settle for 70k.

Although slightly diffrent, it is similar unreasonable conduct and blackmail behind high Institutions strikes, in the past, that can lead to 3 year Uni Course turning to 5 years for Nigerian student when such is not the case in most Nations of Africa.

Espouse all the lofty rhetoric you want but Dangote knows his nation, and her reality, to understand NUPENG is simply seeking a way to make his Refinery operation vulnerable and thus open to blackmail.

Dangote has been actively seeking to expand his source of crude oil, for refining, beyond Nigeria so he can literally replicate the Singapore model that saw the nation become prosperous refining crude for other while having no crude reserve itself.

How can Dangote then grow exponentially and accordingly if bogged down by the self-serving and anti-progress shenanigans within Nigeria?

We all saw what he has endured to get to the stage he is at today. Issues should not be like this if we are a people desirous of progress for our fellow men which then translate into progress for ordinary Nigerians.

We need our Dangotes and BUAs etal generating multi-level and trickle-down wealth that will make many Nigerians rich by association directly or through secondary industry engagement.
