bhest:Are you even from Akwa Ibom to be "wishing' for what should happen in a State you are not a member of her electorate? |
Kemetian:To me, what us shown below is the crux of the matter all truly intelligent and tolerant Yorubas should understand and support as Brazilians, Cubans etal have shown the sophistication to identify and then include in their religious mix. Worldwide today, many admire, value and practice religions that originated from Nigeria that we ourselves today insist must be related behind all other religions, or even abrogated completely, because Nigerians are naturally a self-loathing people who believe all that is forced on them is better than what they created and had in place before. “We have come to a point where we shall never allow our spirituality to be subjugated by other religions. Today, we announce the birth of a new chapter where the Orisha spirituality will no longer dwell in the shadows of misunderstanding but shine as a pillar of heritage, healing and hope” |
Kemetian:Indeed. |
Dking99:"Devoid of ideology" according to an observer I can accuse of being devoid of intellectual depth and objectivity. Eno has spoken well of first being a fan of Tinubu as a professional working in Lagos under Jagaban's Governorship of the State. That is enough to explain his admiration for Tinubu and belief in him. Secondly you should consider the notion that Eno and many others know more than you, a likely biased individual, what it will take for the "African gjant" to truly rise and lead Africa as befits her enormous potential. Where you see failure, because yo can no longer buy petrol at 200 Naira per litre and remain obsessed with the cost of Garri and rice, they see critical and essential reforms that must be followed through, with sacrifice, to get Nigeria and Ngerians where both truly belong per our God-given endowment. How do you then expect those thinking as I believe Eno and many other discerning leaders are thinking today to not back Tinubu? They know and accept failure to do so only let's in the likes of charlatans like Obi and Atiku who may then rescind reforms, Eno and.moat.Southern leaders view as crucial and unavoidable, to then take us back to the days of weaponised poverty against the masses using subsidies of all kind that are really evil ways of giving Nigerians cheaper yet far more worthless lives and existence in comparison to their peers worldwide. If you have not yet worked it out, because you are of the ignorant view all Nigerian leaders are self-serving, most Southern Governors will naturally be inclined to get behind Tinubu and help, if they can, to keep him in office. This is because he is giving them what they have always wanted and no other President has delivered. I.e more allocation, that were previously being consumed by private scammers through fuel subsidy, and more direct autonomous control over their own affair as most local and global democracy advocates have always argued (i.e independence for all tiers of governance from Federal, to State and the local government level) is crucial for the growth and development of Nigeria Governors do not have the same chanllenges as you whose judgement of leaders begjns and ends with the cost of bag of rice and the ability to be able to buy cheal fuel when they must view things in terms of what is best for their States and people short, medium and long-term. |
Topman7:Fayose is just a shameless attention-seeker and wannabe who understands Nigerians are the easiest in the world to patronise and confuse intellectually because most lack depth, that knowledge bestows on himan beings, and aren't independent-minded. Throw most Nigeria a propaganda-laden and one-sided banana of how events elsewhere shows everyone and every Nation is better than Nigerians and Nigerians and see them beating chest wildly like deranged Gorillas. Fayose does not even see the ludicrousness of trying to spin Musk's image positively, and then use that as an ideological horse whip against Nigeria, when even averagely bright folks would note the ludicrous of how the richest man in the world, born in South Africa, chose to first naturalize as an American, when he does not need to do that at all, and then ingratiatingly lobbied to serve the USA under a glorified racist and fascist. I am personally glad no African businessman is like Musk who has shown he cannot be viewed an "African businessman" by any right-thinking person let alone be a positive role model for any African. We are the people (Africans) and continent (Africa) the world view most inferior, perhaps why Musk chose to deliberately move away from identifying with Africa aand Africans to begin with, yet we are been sabotaged from inside by clowns like Fayose seeking social media following. The whole thing is a joke and horror show. |
Topman7:You're talking to self-hating "everyone, everywhere is better than Nigerians and Nigeria" cretins. They'll never get it. The ludicrousness of the situation is compounded by how these clowns have never even set foot outside Nigeria to know what obtains in other nation outside outside Africa. |
Isaacs Fayose should get a job and a life. Most of his comments are drab and unintelligent. To shade Nigeria and Africa, as a self-hating African, Fayose had to use Musk as an example. Yet, any intelligent person must ask if Musk is an "African businessman" in the mould of Dangote, Adenuga etal. Last I checked no proper "African businessman" is on Trump's team of "USA for Americans alone" lunacy agenda when that ideology alone should be naturally repulsive to Musk who is not not even American by birth or origin.
|
RandDigital:Bro, what are you doing on a Nigerian forum? You clearly have no love or affinity for Nigerians so what are you doing here? |
Lol. Musk deserves this current state of affair and dent to his image ala "make your bed and lay in it". If he is not a racist, who views blacks as inferior, the project that should appeal to him the most, and even ages before Trump became second term US President, should be the one he uses his enormous wealth and influence to lead a project that promotes belief in South Africa, his nation, and the notion black and white folks, despite a difficult history, can come together to present an exemplary African nation to the world. Instead the racist Musk, like most White South Africans, to include Charlize Theron etal, found it expedient to dump South Africa to re-invent themselves as Americans , Brits or whatever. It does not not take much to sway someone who did not believe in a project, from the soul, to depart such project as soon as convenient anyway. Yet black South African, as we see from comments from some of them here, will continue to have white 'Bwana' mentality. They'd rather insult Nigerians than face the truth. Musk is a douche with a lot of money. Simple. In South African blacks, he has the best subjects to allow him strut around as a naked emperor making a fool of himself because he is not wearing any clothing. |

Bhella5:Amaechi is "sound" how? He is a malevolent and misguided talkative. Never a good quality for a political leader. El Rufai for example, now brings to mind the image of a personally embittered and vendetta-driven individual most astute observers will deem unfit for leadership. Amaechi is similarly gaining same image in the mind of many. Any political leader not smart or circumspect with their talk is not "sound". Imagine a guy who worked for Buhari, considered one of the most openly and dangerously bigoted President ever, now attacking PBAT to "stop being tribalistic in your governance". Show where Tinubu is partisanly abetting murderous Yorubas to go around killing fellow Nigerians in their land, to be getting away with such with ease, and I will agree the misguided loquacious and hypocritical Amaechi has a point. Show where Tinubu ordered rail line and station to be built to Benin Republic free of charge , because he has "cousins" from there, and I will heed the charge of Amaechi against Tinubu rather than view him the shameless and bitter hypocrite he is. All these guys forming "savior of Nigeria" opposition are nothing but embittered and disgruntled charlatans not fit to lace Tinubu's shoes. Intelligent Nigeria remember them well in public service. Only gullible, illiterate, ethnocentric and misguided Nigerians don't. https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/i-begged-niger-republic-to-let-nigeria-construct-free-railway-for-them-amaechi/%3famp

Northernblood8:What are you talking about? Get data and watch the video abeg. |
sulaak:Same here. I wish all Nigerians well but never really set foot outside the SW and not bothered if I don't. If we gain regional autonomy today, I too would not care who is President of Nigeria so far as the Premier of the SW region is powerful and has a free hand to shape Yoruba land how we Yorubas want it. |
Brenbentondiaz:Their weekend is ruïned. Lol. Op is wicked sha. Meanwhile, do we have even one living witness who has ridden on the monorail the Agulu packaged fraud signed MOU for in 2010? Lol. Developers are really comical people.
|
Spandau:Their born-to-rule desperation, that makes them feel they can threaten and intimidate any Southerner, is getting the better of them. It is crazy, disrespectful and arrogant talk like this now harmonising massive Southern leadership support behind Tinubu daily. Especially when Southern leaders know what they went through under Buhari and Malami, per insecurity, that literally led to a war to get Amotekun etal be allowed to exist. |
seunjungle1:Man tire OOO. Should Wike, Tunji-Ojo, Umahi, Bosun Tijani, Ribadu etal, as Ministers and leaders who are performing exemplarily, not be loved and supported across ethnic, political, religious and sectional lines by all Nigerians if they are a mentally healthy people , in the majority, who are into progress and human development above everything else? We know why many hate Wike. A south South leader passionately working out of his skin to deliver for a "Yoruba Government" is not their cup of Tea. Same as they pleaded in tears, on their knees, for Bianca Ojukwu to reject Tinubu's job offer yet she ignored them. |
Bowwow11:Choi. I fear those who do not fear Nigerians. A warped people who can hate even the best performer, transforming lives and fortunes, because of the ethnic, political, religious and sectional affiliation of said performer. |
Ofunaofu:Lol. A bitter and hateful soul is never at peace. Say what you will but Wike's sterling performance as FCT Minister, in only 2 years, means he is more valuabke and important to the bright future of these kids than you and all the political charlatans your worship. |
sirjoggy:Abeg you over-religious people should stop invoking the name of God in everything. He is tired of una wahala. Na God go thumb-print at polling booth? Adeleke has failed massively. Not a single positive thing on ground to confirm he has done anything for the people with the massively increased allocation Osun has been receiving under him for a while. |
muyico:For sure. Osun is a walkover for APC courtesy of the abject performance of the dancing Governor. Anambra will keep faith with Soludo and so it should be. He has done well for them given what he met on ground. The good thing though is that Soludo despise the charlatan Obi. He won't lift a fingers to help Obi per the 2027 election. |
Lol. Any record of this same man threatening Buhari to end banditry or forget a second term in office? Northern leaders at all level (political, cultural and religious) are terrible in the majority and this is borne out by the pathetic situation of ordinary Northerners who contribute 87% to the most poverty-afflicted Nigerians alive today and have some of the worst human development index known to mankind. Yet they will never cease arrogant threats and blackmail against others because they believe they own Nigeria. |
ChybuzzDD:Lol. All that you claim will "consume" him are worse than what will consume your Kinsman, a pastor for that matter, whose "hate and bigotry" led him to shout publicly that Remi Tinubu should have poisoned her husband so he would not be sworn in as President? Why do you people claim to see the microscopic speak in the eyes of others while ignoring the huge boulder in your own eyes? Even the Bible condemns you people's legendary hypocrisy and duplicity.
|
Goosethetruth:Endorse this message 100%. |
kedeojo:Bro, you can see from below thay not even a day has passed after our comments here thst Osun APC has come out to quickly tell the Adeleke lot that their shameless famzing of PBAT will amount to nothing and that their incompetent dancing Governor must be removed. Read to note where they cited Adeleke's PDP inciting kids, who should be shielded from adult issues they cannot understand, like partisan politics, to public chant that Tinubu is a thief. No different to Davido telling the world the Nigerian economy is "in shambles" under Tinubu yet they think seeking audience with PBAT can now save their political patriarch I.e the dancing Governor. Won't happen. What is at Stake is the control of Osun politically. If APC is now poised to gain that easily and completely, why retain the treacherous Adelekes, fanboys of Atiku, in any capacity in the governance of Osun post-2026 when a 100% APC-controlled Osun is by far the best and most desirable outcome for Tinubu and the APC 2027 mission? https://www.nairaland.com/8444155/visit-tinubu-affirms-desperation-confusion |
Brendaniel:Silly question I have been asked a million times by duplicitous and insincere hypocrites, forming genuine separatist, yet I have given the same logical and factually superior answer each and everytime in response. The Yorubas want their own Country but, as law-abiding and pragmatically intelligent people , they accept secession is expressly forbidden by the Nigerian constitution hence a dead end unless our constitution is amended. This is why Awolowo fought to have a secession cause included in our constitution only for the fraud and covetous usurper called Azikiwe to collude with the North and kill that laudable objective before the British who sat in arbitration over both arguments I.e for or against the inclusion of a secession clause in our constitution to allow Nigeria leave the union peacefully and legally. The Yorubas who made the earliest formal attempt to have the option of seceding, have never tried to do so by force once they knew and underztood the constitution did not support secession. The Igbos have never stopped that exercise in fulitility and illegality, I.e efforts to secede, even though they were the ones who made it impossible for any region to leave the Nigerian union legally and peacefully through Azikiwe's beady-eyed obsession with covetously owning Nigeria and all other Nigerians. One of the secession attempt if your recalcitrant people led to a civil war still hunting Nigeria and you people the most till today. Another attempt had seen SE become officially terrorised today. Your simple answer is therefore that the Yorubas want their own Country but, as lawful and responsible folks always cognisant of what is best for the greater good, have opted to chase regionalism which we have hosted before and is legal seccession in all but name. Look at all the Yoruba elected leaders are doing today to note Yoruba leaders are true to themselves and their ideals and not just paying lip service to their agitation for regional autonomy. Yet look at what SE elected are doing, hankering for more 'one Nigeria' stake like your legislators Kalu sponsoring a bill to remove state of origin of Nigerians from their official data, to note the world sees you people for what you are. I.e blackmailers who love, favour and prefer 'one Nigeria' more than all others yet trot out the Biafra brigandage everytime you are not given the Keys to the Nigerian Manor as you so desperately and covetously wish to have.
|
maiunguwar:You do realize that this myopic announcement you proudly make is the very same reason no one takes your noise of Biafra seriously? Why do you think Buhari called you lot alone, of over 400 ethnic groups of Nigeria, "Dot in a circle" people? Think about it. When a visitor has moved in to live with you and they keep making noise that you are terrible and emptily declaring daily they want ther own seperate accommodation, yet they make no effort to move out and even move more of their family member in daily to burden you, are you going to take such a person seriously or just ignore them for the empty nosiemaker they are? |
DomPerignon:Absolutely. This is why I really feel sorry for misguided Yorubas like the simp Macaroni, always destined to fall flat on their faces because of self-hatred, whereas Falz and many previously 'woke' Yorubas have learned bitter lessons the hard way. The only thing uppermost in the mind of those people, and any decent students of history can validate this instantly, is usurpational dominance of others for the benefit of themselves and their Kinsmen. They will use all manners of propaganda and duplicitious coercion to bamboozle other to believe they are what they are not. In the end, latent hatred and disdain of others cannot be hidden for long. When those they co-opted falsely into their movement of fraud begin to realize they have been hoodwinked, as is now happening in the Obidient camp, the mask slips to reveal the ugly reality of what these people are. Bro, I can only blame the Yorubas who, in total disregard for the history of Obi as a certified religious and ethnic bigot plus one of the most failed Governors Nigeria has ever had, used their own two feet to walk into and join the camp of their duplicitous and eternal enemies. |
KillahPriest:You are the one who is angry, not me,and this shows with uncouthly calling others derogatory names. We know why your sort are angry and will always be over issues related to terrorist and terrorism. Not hard to work out. |
@OP. While there is a lot of truth in your write-up, especially about the inordinate lust for power of Northern elites they feel Tinubu has denied them, your suggestions of the inclusion of NOI in APC, as VP to PBAT in 2027, is misguided. What will defeat the problems of Nigeria for good is the implementation of holistic and fundamental political reforms that will ensure all Nigeria people, States and region can begin to thrive as intended if that is what they want. Instead of the simple-minded approach of touting this and that as the messiah, let us look at how Nigerians can speak with one voice to insist on the delivery of major game-changjng political and socio-economic reforms like greater decentralization of power from the federal centre towards States and regions (ultimately leading to full regional autonomy and regional policing), resource control to stimulate State/regional productivity, self-reliance and innovation etc, etc, etc. We must stop looking lazily and distractingly for 'champions' with magic wands and use the educated minds many of us possess to identify and insist on the delivery of solutions we can all be part of. Always speaking as if all our problems is related to leadership alone, when it is to do with how Nigerians do not/cannot unite to demand vey obvious solutions from leaders, is the reasons many opportunists and charlatans continue disturbing us with noise daily that they alone have the magic formula to solve all our problems. Eg Dubai dweller Atiku who insists he is best to be President yet does not care to live in Nigeria with Nigerians he claims to love and wish to liberate. Alos failed charlatans like Obi, who was a monumental fraud and failure as Governor, through to vengeful El Rufai fighting others personally rather than ideologically and the many failed political jobbers, like Dele Momodu etal, now pretending they are collaborating as an opposition to "save Nigeria". No 'Rocket Scientist, as you are touting NOI to be while others will also have their own names to throw in the ring too, is needed for what is clearly not Rocket Science. The solutions are fairly obvious and only a united people, with homogeneity of ideas and vision, can insist leaders must deliver them. The bolded above is the koko of the matter. It is what we do not have and the reason you.and many others think there is one individual out there who can perform miracles over problems that are institutional and related to the fundamentally wrong political structure and constitution of Nigeria. |

why the thing dey pepper you for body na ? The problem is when you guys want to fly a kite, you usually do it so shambolically that we can perceive the odour a million miles away so instead of getting angry with me, why not pack your bags and head to sambisa with your paddy and put in your shift for the country or are you not patriotic again
Talking about using NYSC means to fight battle hardened militias in this days of modern warfare is the most APC thing I've ever heard so far this month
