"Praise singer" because he wants an end to terrorism and adds his own suggestions of possible solutions?

We wonder what we should call you and your ilk always angry and insultive towards Nigerians who dislike terrorism and terrorists to then wish both could be ended.

I feel the NYSC scheme should be revised.. we should turn it to proper short Military service and make it 2-3 years.
Nigeria is at a point where all hands must be on deck to end terrorism for good.
You are right but very important to tackle the radical fundamentalism adding fuel to the raging fire of terrorism in Nigeria.

But for extremist ideology many in the North support (from political, religious and cultural leaders to ordinary men and women) then terrorism can be defeated quickly and remain defeated in Nigeria.

Deradicalising minds, and of course preventing the radicalisation of minds in the first place, will remain the biggest challenge to ending terrorism permanently. That will take time to achieve and only when Northerners themselves desire such.

Terrorism cannot be defeated and stay defeated by valiant boots of our armed forces personnel toiling on the ground while literally thousands of extremist clerics are radicalising young Northerners daily with warped interpretation of scriptures.

Something has to be done about that aspect of this battle otherwise Nigeria is on a long thing and ,ultimately, an exercise in futility.

You conveniently left out the 8 years of Buhari. His FCT minister couldn't do a fraction of what Wike has done but it's all good. We must commend the good works of the government but dont leave out the 8 years under Buhari APC ehn...you cannot just erase those years and jump from 16 years of PDP to 2 years of BAT APC
I get your point but fact is that any Nigerian who is truly politically sophisticated, and can do reality to gain solutions in life, would have moved beyond the PDP, APC, Labour etal thing ages ago.

The reality is that our national politics is nowhere near as mature as it needs to be and our political Parties in Nigeria have no institutional integrity. They are just platforms for many to use attaining political office.

The likes of Obi and Atiku, and they are in the majority, have proven the point that politicians in Nigeria, unlike what obtains elsewhere, use political Parties like Bolt and Uber to get them where they are going.

They do not even know the core ideology of the Parties they join like olosho changing brothel only cares about the money-making potentials of a joknt and nothing else.

They mock a Party today and described it the problem of Nigeria, as Obi did to PDP while in APGA and Atiku claimed of PDP while in APC, to then join same political Parties tomorrow as we have seen Obi and Atiku do.

Wise, Pragmatic and critical thinking Nigerians will have realised by now that the only way to inspect political leaders is to look at their record of leadership and not Parties they are members of or anything else.

In that regard we can see that this fundamental approach is always borne out by the performance of leaders in office.

For example, we have always known Tinubu's capacity for identifying and working with performer. We also know he is a brave and resolute leader.

We are seeing proof of both and much more today. It is not Rocket Science.

-Kiss the truth!
Tinubu and his appointees are doing very well in so many aspects of leadership. Wike is a superstar. Umahi has been amazing and Tunji-Ojo absolutely revolutionary as Minister of interior.

It shows you how wicked and anti-progress some Nigerians are when they can queue behind Bala Mohammed, a failure as FCT Minister, and Aregbesola, a terrible Minister of interior who caused Nigerians a lot of pain, misery and tears, merely because both are now enemies of the PBAT government.

Important to give credit to whom it is due in life. Also desirable for normal human beings to love progress and support those who deilver such. Only sadists reject the above.

There is never circumpspect sense and uprightness guiding your outlook and talk. For you people everything is related to portraying yourselves saints and all others sinners.

Yet the reality has never borne this out in Nigeria same as you all gather today to proclaimed Ekpa, Kanu etal innocent as if all the things we saw your heroes do and say never happened.

When Jonathan is compared to Jagaban; a shovel and a caterpillar come to my mind. It is completely impossible to compare the 2; do not let us waste our time!
No one knows men more than their women. This is why PEJ, that many would think must hate Tinubu, has come out to say she is backing PBAT for 2027.

Much as she loves her husband, there are things she will see as more admirable in Tinubu when she reflects on how he is wielding power in comparison to how her husband did

Women are emotional and more honest over their instinctive feelings. If a woman believes another man to be superior to you then that feeling will endure with her.

It is men who have the duplicitious, envious and egotistic nature to be fully aware a man (Obi) lags behind another (Tinubu) in terms of leadership and manliness qualities yet they will continue to tout the clearly inferior man as superior.

Women will either tell you korokoro "that man is better than you" or they remain silent to spare your feelings.

Women worship action and what a man delivers. Not spin, propaganda or lies. Especially when they have known two men enough to be able compare them.

This is the reason, for example, Bianca knows Tinubu is not Obi's mate whereas virtually all her male kinsmen continue to insist the opposite is the case.

As usual the bitter people supported them just like they did to Fubara that backfire. Adeleke as seen the sign of him losing in all front. Jonathan really need to be ashamed. He just make the world to know as if south south are not brave people. This is how a president should be.
Sharp guy. Those people will never see the big picture to understand what politics is meant to achieve. They think politics is meant for setting scores, punishing and frustrating those they hate or eternal bitterness towards percieved enemies.

Nothing proves this than how the more politically sophisticated SS have moved beyond GEJ to get behind Tinubu while the bitter lot ,who are not kinsmen of GEJ, continue to carry his defeat of 2015 on their head today to be crying more than the bereaved.

Adeleke knows he is a goner. Best he can do is grovelling and hope Tinubu finds a reason to need and retain him. Yet I don't PBAT will entertain such.

The Osun guber election is in 2026. A whole year before the main fireworks of 2027.

It makes more sense for Tinubu to end the reign of the Adeleke and have his own people, via his cousin Oyetola, in charge of Osun again rather than enter into any deal with the volatile dancing Governor that could be fraught with betrayal, backstabbing, duplicity etc.

Was it not Davido, same dude famzing Seyi Tinubu and PBAT today, who was recently advising African-Americans to steer clear of relocating to Nigeria he termed to be "in shambles" economically under PBAT?

It is bad and senseless risk for Tinubu to choose the option of working with turncoats, saboteurs and unpredictable elements when the way is clear to put his own trusted and committed people in place and 100% unify the control of Osun politics under the APC. That is how it always is in politics.

Joining APC will not do anything for the Adeleke in Tinubu's books. If you know how Tinubu thinks then you will understand he always wants affiliations to be profitable to him and Nigerians politically.

Osun is going to APC next year 100% because of the hideouts incompetence of the dancing Governor.

The federal legislators of the State have openly and publicly backed Tinubu also.

What would it profit Tinubu to endure with Adeleke as Governor if he can have his own man, who will deliver for Osun and retain it an APC state in future, in place as 2026 Governor?

My opinion sha, but I think Tinubu will not choose to work through Adeleke after 2026 when the APC now possess the capacity to remove the joke of a Governor and replace him with someone better next year.

Tinubu knows Adeleke is a liability best to remove. Especially when that is now virtually assured for several reasons.

The bitter republicans are confused. The Adeleke's need Tinubu more than he need them. He can't decide to pull the rug of second term from their feet. I wan see wetiñ the emotional and hatred retards will start calling the Adeleke's. Atiku have seen it and that was the reason he snub Davido uncle and rather visited Aregbesola in his hometown. That is how you know an astute politician but our brothers across the Niger will still not know and be blind politically and later start blaming unnecessary.
Lol. Those ones will never understand politics, because of hatred and bitterness towards others, even if 100 of the world's greatest politicians Lectures them for 2 years about the working of politics.

Right now, the Adeleke know their fortunes in Osun is in the hands of Tinubu entirely. They understand they must beg as they helped Atiku win in Osun in 2023 , to Tinubu's embarrassment, because they felt Atiku would be President.

Even Davido was busy demarketing Tinubu's Presidency recently knocking the economy as dead and "in shambles" under PBAT.Tinubu won't be swayed by this 'oju ayé, shenanigans from them now.

As you said from the start, the Adeleke lot need Tinubu more than he needs them. After all this 'dobale' dem they do, I still back Tinubu to remove the dancing Governor legitimately, in 2026, and replace him with an APC man the President will know he can rely on completely in 2027 to deliver Osun.

The Adeleke lot are only grovelling because they know the dancing Governor is a monumental failure Osun folks can't wait to remove from office next year.

Tinubu is not swayed by sycophancy. He always has a clear vision of what he wants to achieve and won't be moved by all this 'egbami' show from the Adeleke family.

Osun was one of the SW State Tinubu lost to Atiku and PDP in 2023 and that was because of the machination of the Adeleke PDP folks.

Tinubu will likely wants Osun State out of their hands and control before 2027 so they cannot sabotage his effort to sweep the SW.

A near future which will be defined by ethnic nationalism and pride that will lead ethnic groups and region doing the right things to begin rejecting and ostracising those who flee/suppport their demons at home to then go and live in the sane and comparatively safe land of those who are law abiding and not in bed with terrorism and terrorists by night to then be gaslighting Tinubu Yoruba Government , as Obi and Obidients etal do non-stop, by day.

We are firmly heading towards the days of "to your tent O Isreal" and "make your bed, and lay in it" as DomPerignon stated in the thread below.

This became a necessity after late Pa Adebanjo and Dele Farotimi created a funny faction of Afenifere that people on X now call Ohanifere in a bid to hijack the real Afenifere.
With the Igbos, in particular, DomPerignon got it spot on with his observation below.

https://www.nairaland.com/8442156/yoruba-nationalism-rises-face-ibo

Igbo covetous, expansionist and usurping arrogance, tolerated over decades by Yorubas in the SW, is now being resisted with a wave of Yoruba nationalism the younger generation of Yorubas, especially those politically and societally conscious, are opening their eyes to.

It is becoming obvious to many that the Igbos are the other side of the coin of Fulani ethnic expansionist and imperialism.

Only difference is that Igbos are not pursuing their agenda with violence.

Ultimately, that makes no difference overall because the agenda of subjugating others in their ancestral land, after both leave their land in search of external domain to conquer, is evil and condemnable.

My predictions

1. LP won't give Obi their ticket neither will PDP. Obi will need to scout for another SPV party as he can't build a party on his own.

2. Atiku will not dare near PDP as they will not give their ticket to him. Atiku will be moving to another party most likely CPC as both SDP and ADC have very powerful figures in it who are ideologically driven and won't cede their party to Atiku. This is where the CPC faction led by the cabals will ditch the APC and lure Atiku. But this is all a trap .

3. The CPC party will rather give it to Amaechi with El Rufai while leaving Atiku in the cold.

The next race will see Amaechi/El Rufai (CPC), Obi/Datti (ZLP), Atiku (?) Vs Tinubu. PDP will balkanize along north and south with the southern faction endorsing Tinubu while Bala Muhammed emerges as the northern factional PDP candidate. Kwankwasso might throw in his towel and endorse Tinubu or he might act the spoiler again and contet there by making the next election having the most candidates aspiring.
Intelligent analysis and I kinda broadly agree. Except for the conclusion that Bala Mohammed will be the PDP Presidential candidate.

Bad blood in the PDP against Fulani born-to-rule arrogance, along with Wike's influence that does not appear to be waning, may see the PDP opt for a Southerners as her 2027 candidate. Makinde for example.

I personally feel, whatever happens, the greed and desperation of those who want to depose Tinubu will actually make it easier for Jagaban to win the 2027 Presidential election.

In the sixty years of Nigerian independence, the north has been in power for more than forty years which is laughable because there is nothing to show for it except backwardness. With more out of school children than any country in the world is a recipe for the continuous cycle of negative attributes that defines the north now. Even if given power for the next thirty years without interruption, the north will still remain a shadow of itself because the north lacks the knowledge of its fundamental issues. Getting it right can only be done by a deliberate shift in the negative ideologies of a people that have panned out for decades and has come to be generally accepted as a tradition that when tempered with can only spell doom- in their ignorance!
