They don't think before they talk. Reacting instinctlvely to self-hatred hatred of others and hatred for ones own nation is what forces most Nigerians to speak without recourse to facts.

Most Nigerians are so hateful that their main mission remains an obsessive need, even if prosecuted with lies, to show anyone who cares to listen that all nations are better than Nigeria.

I don't have an issue with that but we need to keep issues factual.

Using Ghana, a ridiculously expensive and opportunity-bereft nation, to shade Nigeria of today is not on at all for those of use who are knowledgeable and know the reality of most nations that japa-obsessed haters want to claim are better than Nigeria by fire by force.

Bro, stop the idiocy of sending quora images like that below. Take my challenge. Let us compare what 10k can buy in Nigeria and what it's cedi equivalent can buy in Ghana.

Purchasing capacity is the undisputed test of a currency's value. Stop this back and forth idiocy. I can embarrass you right now and show the forum evidence that will discredit you.

Yet I want you to make a fool of yourself by taking my challenge. If you cannot do so then know you stand discredited here. Meaning you should learn to come correct in future.

Hating Nigeria or her President does not mean you begin spreading ignorant drivel about our nation. If you love other nations so much, then move to live there.

We are not stopping you. Despite our problems, many Nigerians, including those who have seen the world and done well globally, know why they see potential greatness in our nation and why they still love living in 'imperfect' Nigeria.

Don't quote me any more if you cannot take the challenge I have put before you. I am on ground as a businessman who knows nations like Ghana and their realities, first hand, across continent of the world.

I don't do subjective AI and quora argument. I do real and proven. Let's go

What if he comes to Nigeria with that 14k cedis and buy the iPhone 16 pro max?

Fyi, I'm not supporting any side, just ask a question
Does that then not show you which economy is stronger if Ghanaians need to travel to Nigeria to get better value for money?

What 14k cedis cannot buy in Ghana can be bought for same Naira equivalent in Nigeria. Even basic reasoning a 10 year old is capable of shows which nation has lower inflation and comparatively stronger currency.

Reducing decimal places in a nations currency can only bamboozle those who hate their own nation and are ready to use ignorance to claim all nations of the world, be it Sudan or Somalia, are better than Nigeria.

Those sort of people don't even understand they need to make it make sense. They simply just rush online to post ignorant drivel that exposes them as self-hating olodos.

So you are more vast about strength of currency than Meta AI.
WHO IS HOLDING YOU FROM REDOMINATING YOUR USELESS NAIRA
Drop the ego bro. Learn from those better than you so your life can be better. No need for needless back and forth.

I have thrown you and all Nairalanders a challenge we can all engage in online together.

The real strength of a currency is it's purchasing power. Let us all assume we are shoppers today in Nigeria and Ghana.

Let some of us enter any Shoprite in Nigeria with 10k Naira this morning. Let Nairalanders in Ghana also enter any Shoprite in Ghana with the Cedis equivalent of 10k Naira.

We can then compare what Naira and cedi equivalent bought in Nigerian Shoprite branch and Ghanaian shoprite branch respectively.

If 10k buys far more in Nigeria's Shoprite than the Cedi equivalent does in Ghana's Shoprite will you accept Naira is the more valuable currency and apologize to Nairalanders for your ignorance and nauseating self-hatred?

Baba, these things no be mouth. Take the challenge. I am ready and can grab prices online today of identical goods in Shoprite Nigeria and Ghana so we see what Nigerians pay in Naira for a can of malt and what Ghanaians pay for same malt in the Cedi equivalent to Naira.

Take the challenge bro so I can show the world how ignorant you are praising a redenominated currency
aligned with an economy with higher inflation than Nigeria.

You are responding to no other than the bigoted, shameless and discredited PrinceOfLagos character, with Imo State origin, sojourning in Lagos yet nurses the most primordial level of hatred for his Yoruba hosts.

Enemies-within kind of thing. No one takes him seriously here because he is a Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour type of character operating with the same covetous passion to commandeer what Yorubas own for Igbo usurpation and control.

They all feel Obi, as President, will help them gain that. Not possible. In fact, a sincere analysis of the State of affairs in Nigeria today will show the SW, SS and North Central regions are ready for regional "charity begins at home" reconstruction of Nigeria with opposition coming only and mainly from the Fulani imperialists and vagabond usurpers from the SE.

I think wise men know the inevitable end to this saga.

Are Nigerian politicians not ashamed of the naira as it is now.
Our next door neighbour that we pursued some couple of years ago by saying Ghana must go which is the bag the politicians are currently using to loot money now have a far better currency and will soon say Nigeria must go as a lot of Nigerians are currently residing in Ghana.
Just some couple of thousand Ghana cedis is almost 2 million naira.
It's so pathetic .
Bro, no disrespect meant, and no kinder way to put it, you are a functional illiterate. Ghana redenominated their currency I think in 2007 or so.

Meaning they reduced it's previously unweildy numerical qualification a by a few decimals points. That act did not increase the value of the Cedi. It just meant Ghanaians could use one bill to pay for what they previously used many bills to purchase.

Simply put, if Naira is redenominated today to make 1000 Naira equivalent to 10 Naira then what 1000 Naira bought previously will now be bought with 10 Naira. Naira has not suddenly gained value because of that rednomination.

The real comparison of strength of currencies is to put them to the inflation test which Ghana, one of the African nation with comparatively high inflation rate, will fail against Nigeria every time.

10k Naira is a good test. Tell me the cedis equivalent of 10k Naira and let us see, from a basket selection of goods for measuring inflation, what 10k Naira and it's cedi equivalent can purchase in Shoprite Nigeria and Shoprite Ghana respectively.

Simple test that will show some of you guys that you need to spend more time reading and gaining knowledge rather than rushing to post online because you dislike yourself, your colour, your nationality, your President etc, etc.

Realities are still realities. Those who shun emotions, bias and sentiments to grasp that powerful concept have always ruled the world and always will.

The economy of Ghana has not grown because the nation redenominated her currency and it is tragic Nigerian educated adult still exist who believe this to be the case because such is a massive negative indictment of the quality of education available in Nigeria currently.

Any progressive person will know, given the reality of Nigeria, Tinubu has done very well cumulatively.

Many, in the Fulani and Igbo rank forming opposition coalition against PBAT, are just playing politics of entitlement, imperialism, disgruntlement, hate, vindictiveness, spite and bitterness.

In life, and per the theory of evolution, the progressive and most well-meaning in society tend to win eventually.

The haters (SE lot) and born-to-rule imperialists with absolutely no respect for others (Fulanis like Atiku, Bala Mohammed, Tambuwal, El Rufai, Malami etal) can do their worst.

Sadly, the FGN-Fulani govt of Nigeria will never in a million years of sundays, grant this warped country, regional autonomy. How else do you expect their foot-soldiers to continue killing the rest of us, for sport?

The only solurion to the situation we found ourselves in this country, is dissolution. Even that, (dissolution) is not acceptable to the fulanis and we all know that in this country, whatever the fulanis wants, they get.
Brother, regional autonomy is being achieved gradually in all but name. Tinubu who understands that names and tag, like Biafra and Oduduwa Republic, petrify some people to the point of physical panic attack prefers to move quietly without giving his innovations controversial tags. We saw this with tax reforms vehemently oppose by the North initially but passed in the end.

It is Forest gaurds instead of any controversial tag connoting regional freedom. Yet in reality, it is Yorubas who will dominate SW forest gaurds same as Amotekun.

Once regional policing is achieved, along with the forest gaurds Tinubu has now approved, it is all over for the jihadist marauders.

Yorubas say "ko ki sè gbo gbo énu ni á fin soro". Nuff said. Those paying attention are already moving to make SW great with the improved freedom over socio-economic direction PBAT is delivering.

Once security is sorted then done deal. No one needs to stand on a podium at Tafawa Balewa to announce regional autonomy. What can be done today, that was not possible in the past and under Buhari, is the real freedom.

Hausa man is telling u that for North to compete in the global stage there are certain oractices they have to get rid of ..and there are certain practices they have to embrace... Is he saying this from a position of hatred for his own ppl? Or he is advocating these because he knows his ppl are brilliant but needs certain adjustments .. what is the difference between what he said and Obi saying that there's nothing wrong with the almajiri kid's brains just that they need certain types of changes and reorientation..?
You people and insincerity. The Hausa man makes it clear the problems of the North are self-inflicted and admits no one, however well-intentioned, can deliver solutions for said problems other than Northerners themselves.

Obvious you are the one talking bukum because every honest and sincere person knows the talk of the Hausa man is starkly different to that of Obi who insincerely and unintelligently attributes the problems of North to literally everything bar the reality of how Northerners cause their own problem.

At no stage does Obi even hint at the obvious which is that Northerners are the only ones who can consequently deliver solutions to their problems which were self-inflicted to begin with.

Thee Hausa man in contrast, a stakeholders that you and Obi can never be, firmly insist Northerners are perpetrators while your gbajue and Lamba King portray them as 'victims'.

May God forgive Obi and you guys who severely attacked and lampooned the North as the problem of Nigeria for decades now, and most vocally under Buhari, yet today you are all singing a different tune in hope such patronising insincerity will land you all in Aso Rock.

I doubt your position on ESN, it wasn't for the same purpose. It was created to fight against the government, fighting insecurity was a smoke-screen, fighting against the government, you could easily tell from their mode of operation. They started attacking police, soldiers then went on the enforce sit at home, all the while receiving adorations from the SE folks. And now without a clear structure of leadership, they have gone fully on rampage.
Moreover it was not created by any known government, it was an individual establishment
You and the poster you responded to forget that ESN cannot be compared to Amotekun.

While Amotekun was created through legal ratification of it's birth, ESN is an illegal entity not recognised by State or Federal laws.

Secondly, the elected leaders of SW States, at executive and legislative level, and with the electoral mandate of the people, worked to create Amotekun.

Who is/are behind ESN? If you know the answer then it will be obvious comparing Amotekun to ESN is like comparing day and night.

Mind you Ebubeagu, the copy cat effort to Amotekun created by reactionary and unintelligent SE Governors, turned out to be a glorified version of ESN. Perhaps even worse.

This is why I find it amusing some, rather than reflect on the myriads of problems they have, come here to demonize the Yorubas daily and 24/7 when the reality is that Yorubas have left them far behind and would indeed be a considerably developed nation in 2 decades if Nigeria were to adopt regional autonomy today.

Sebi Peter Obi dey toast the North, after his infamous "yes Daddy " hit
Obi remains a very dangerous man who is only desperate to be the 2027 candidate of the doomed opposition coalition.

He went to famz and patronise a Northern audience, ingratiatingly speaking to adult Northerners as if they were all 'slow' kids, claiming the North needs education.

Perhaps this Hausa man ,in the video, should have been in attendance to shout "desperado hypocrite" at Obi and tell him that all truthfully sincere Northerners know that nothing and no one can force education on those who do not want it and prefer Islamic 'knowledge' centres to conventional schools.

Obi's citation of insecurity being a root cause of unemployment is disingenous also because, long before insecurity became a part of everyday life in the North, disproportionately high unemployment has always been a problem for the region.

Researchers globally, to include some of the finest development analysts, have concluded that the main reason for alarmingly high unemployment in the North is poor entrepreneural zeal of Northerners.

Yet such is crucially needed to grow the SME sector that is the lifeblood of the economy of most nations of the world by being the biggest employed of labour.

When 2 plus 2 is incontrovertibly 4 and Obi declares it 6, to curry political favours, then it should be amply clear to all Nigerians, to include Northerners themselves, that Obi has nothing to offer anyone.

It is the reason he was declared a hideous failure, as Anambra Governor, by those now praising him a messiah today because Obi and his former critics, now turned praises singers, are today both only desperate for the realisation of a singularly agenda. I.e Igbo Preaidency by any and every means possible.

We all know attitudinal change is the only way out for the North. Any leader that cannot say such to Northerners would be better served remaining silent rather than piling 'victimhood' lies upon lies in a nauseating show of cynicism and deception as Obi does with ease.

I simply could not say anything in response to Peter Obi's deliberate insincerity and deception, merely because of his desperation to be President, till this youtube video from a Hausa man, directly debunking the irresponsible lies and dupliticy of Obi, popped up

Soyinka labelled him "gbajue"aptly. Northerners, and their unapologetically self-destructive and self-inflicted problems, are their own worst enemies and that of Nigeria as well as this Hausa man frustratedly tells us.

The only consistent message the North should be getting from the rest of us is that, for their own good and salvation, they must 'fix up'.

Any Southern Presidential candidate who, in the audience of Northern leaders, deliberately chooses to lie to and patronise Northerners is a very dangerous person Nigeria should never make President.

This is because the very serious problems of the North, threatening to destroy Nigeria, can only be adressed most efficiently by Northerners and Northerners alone. Anyone saying otherwise, as Obi does, has ulterior motivation for such a shameless and desperate shows of deception.

Can PDP do without Wike who is the character still giving the near dead Party life as it's most influential and powerful member?

If even one PDP member today is more powerful, brave and influential than Wike nationally then let said person, be it Atiku or Saraki, force the expulsion of Wike from the Party.

It should not even take a day if not that PDP needs Wike more than the worthless Party needs him after they sold out to Fulani imperialists leading Wike to warn them, as a passing shot, that "I will not be second class in my own nation".

They knew what was coming because Wike put them on alert. Don't then try to now put this on Wike because Obi and all SE leaders in the PDP fled or hid their faces.

PDP Southern leaders, by ommision or commission, brought this upon themselves by cowardly selling out to Fulani born-to-rule imperialists and their dollars. That is what, singularly, has destroyed PDP beyond repair.

Ordinarlily, technocrats are well-suppoted worldwide to lead because they possess specialist skills, knowledge and expertise , that others do not have, to provide effective solutions.

What makes many worthless in Nigeria is that local politics, meaning blocs and 'stakeholders' being carried along, often overwhelms technocrats to then leave them bogged down in bottlenecks and man-made inefficiency.

The result of which is failure in Nigerian political office. If Ogun was like Lagos then a Fashola-type who is not typically a politician could do wonders for the State if protected to work and achieve by a powerful, well-meaning and influential 'baba adugbo' like Tinubu.

Bruv, forget all this your noise. Tell me, if you really know Nigerian politics, whether Northerners have regard for Obi or not.

That is the koko of the matter because the North only need one of two outcome in 2027.

(1) A return of power directly to the North into the hands of a Northerner or (2) the 'lending' of power to a Southern coward and weakling who will keep the seat warm for them, not rock the boat and do their bidding till a Northerner takes over substantively.

Obi, globally accepted a weakling and coward by his own damaging history of displaying those qualities, is only fit for option 2 to Northerners.

Option 1 is the preferred and most desirable. Atiku, had Yorubas not stopped him, has proven option 1 could have even happened in 2023 and Igbos would have said or done zilch.

So many behaviour of Igbo leaders before the 2023 elections that was optically terrible in a political context and only resonated the message, again, that Igbos lack political integrity and can be brushed aside to settle for second place with no consequence.

Good luck making Obi the candidate of the coalition when those who will be most powerful in it are Northerners seeking to wrestle power from Tinubu because he is using it independently and has not allowed North , as they are used to doing, hijack federal power for deployment as slush fund for the elites of the region.

Perception matters a lot in politics and Igbos, because of their own actions, are now politicially percieved as a people about noise alone that the worst can be done to and they will just sempe for corner quietly. As Obi did when he fled PDP.
