Dreal1247:Lol. No credible voice to quote so you settle on "Apostle" Johnson Suleman? You guys deserve the ride these charlatan pastor's take you on. |
HacheNoire:Lol. Joke section is where this thread belongs indeed |
FortCavazosKnox:Precisely. If Tinubu offers him some cheddar today, he will begin singing a different tune. |
erad:Well-said. Tinubu is scared of the North? Yet Malami and El Rufai dey hear wien while Tinubu sanctioned USA military intervention in the North no other Nigerian President had dared contemplate in the past? Adeyanju is a fraudulent broken clock. He can be right twice a day, as all broken clocks can be, but he is wrong most times. |
HIGHESTPOPORI:How would Northern political delegates, casting votes at the 2022 APC primaries, have been forced to vote against Tinubu when they know he is vital to their leadership ambition, under 'one Nigeria', that meant non of them was willing to do "abobaku" with the outgoings Buhari? Many Northerners directly defied Buhari for Tinubu. Buhari was never a great party leader. He was never interested in the welfare of those below him as Tinubu is and always will be because he understands that will rally for you when you have rallied for them previously. Tinubu is and has always being about that concept. Yes ordinary Northerners viewed Buhari a god but Northern political leaders, different to the average Northerner, view Tinubu a consummate leader, "enabler", ally and even mentor. Politics is about permanent interest. With Buhari outgoings, how will any ambitious Northerner do his bidding against Tinubu when they have their own future to worry about? Can you not see how the children of David Mark, El Rufai, Atiku, Buhari etal are behind Tinubu to discern the truth of the saying politics is about permanent interest and not permanent friendship or enmity? Tinubu winning.in 2027 best serves the permanent interest of many Northern leaders eyeing greater leadership ambitions in 'one Nigeria' they know may die if Atiku get's away with his dishonorable and selfish ambition. |
HacheNoire:Absolutely. Noble and honourable Northerners, with the most power and influence officially, are behind PBAT. They know what Tinubu contributed to get the North 8 years under Buhari. They will repay that debt they know the honourable Tinubu too will reciprocate in 2031 to support a Northerner into power . The born-to-rule Northern supremacists and dishonorable hegemonists in ADC can keep making noise. |
Legitiscool:Indeed. Obi did what no genuine and brave leader would ever do. I.e concede his birthright to usurpers. Every honorable Nigerian knows that a rotation agreement is in place that means it must be the South that produces the Presidency in 2023 after the region had impeccably supported the North to gain and remain in power for 8 years through Buhari. Tinubu, Amaechi and Wike etal fought in their respective Parties to win the ticket to represent the turn of the South. Obi fled despite Bode George, vehemently fighting for the South, to insist PDP must zone the 2023 Presidenctial ticket to the South or face serious problems going forward. Obi had no interested joining such a just and noble agitation same as he sided with Abacha when every decent Nigerian wanted the murderous dictator gone. Obi fled. Wike stayed to fight to even warn, after his defeat to Atiku and Tambuwal.conspiracy, "I will not be second class in my own nation". Today Wike is flying high as a Nigerian leader, reward for his bravery and conviction, while Obi is grovelling and pushing Obidients forwards to go and plead his case to born-to-rule Fulani supremacists in ADC it is the turn of the South when he never fought for such in 2022 as others did. Shior.Obi is just too underwhelming as a leader and Shehu Sani is right insisting it is only ethnic bigotry behind the support he enjoys from Obidients. There is no way even a single legit and brave Southern leaders will stand behind Obi's desperate effort to now use "rotation agreement" to blackmail Atiku etal to dash him AFC ticket when, as shown below, he was very okay with a Fulani replacing Buhari who had completed 2 maximum terms of 4 years in power.
|
NOETHNICITY:Absolutely. Obi can never fight and defend what must be defended, at that very point in time, because he lacks the innate quality genuine leaders have which is strength of conviction to stand their ground when they must. Tinubu, Amaechi and many other Southerners showed this contesting the APC 2022 primaries even as they were aware the Buhari cabal was not eager to relinquish power to any Southerner. Wike did same too in PDP standing up to Fulani born-to-rule imperialism while Obi chose to flee and even congratulate Atiku for emerging PDP 2023 Presidential candidate demonstrating to the world he believed Atiku had a legitimate right to do what what he did in 2022. I.e attempt to replace his fellow Fulani who had been in power for 8 years meaning, had Atiku won, Fulanis could have thrashed the rotation agreement, because they feel they are above all else and can do that, to then possibly lead our nation for 16 unbroken years. A reality that would surely cause serious issues in a horibbly ethno-religiously divided Nigeria that already feels Fulani leaders should be taking responsibility for the existentialist problem they are causing Nigeria rather than chasing the Presidency. Obi has nor right today to try and use 'rotation gaslighting against the born-to-rule Fulani supremacists he went to join in ADC when he never fought for such with "emilokan" style insistence it is the turn of the South as Tinubu, Amaechi, Wike etal battled for in 2022 when they had to. |
As some of us have insisted several times, what is shown below typifies the failings and compromise of Obi as a man and a leader. At the heart of his concern is zoning, the long-standing principle of rotating power between Nigeria’s regions. For Obi and many southern stakeholders, any credible opposition arrangement must explicitly address this issue. Why did Obi not address the bolded in 2022 when he fled PDP that Igbos, at the time, had every right to exclusively demand the Presidential ticket of, in a period that is the clear turn of the South per rotation agreement, with the SE having served the PDP loyally and commitedly for decades? Obi fled PDP and left the Party for Atiku, Tambuwal, Sule Lamido, Bala Mohammed etal to define. As a leader, and perhaps a brave man, he should have partnered with brave Wike, Bode George etal willing to take the fight to the born-to-rule Northerners in PDP, who wanted to succeed Buhari in 2023 meaning a possible unbroken 16 years of Fulani leading Nigeria, to ensure a Southerner gained the PDP 2023 ticket.. Bad as that show of slavishness from Obi was, he then followed up and doubled down on his legendary cowardice congratulating Atiku effusively for emerging PDP Presidential candidate in 2023. That action showed the worldaobi had no issues with what Atiku did, i.e flagrant and dishonorable disregard for rotation agreement that should mean Atiku and Northerners refrain from contesting PDP ticket as Bode George insisted. How can Obi now hope to profit from the rotation agreement today that he failed to fight for and defend in 2022? This is what happens to cowards in life. The battle they fail to fight when they must, always comes back to be their undoing. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.channelstv.com/2022/05/29/pdp-primaries-obi-congratulates-atiku-on-emergence-as-presidential-candidate/amp/

MaziObinnaokija:Ambode is competent but his maverick and arrogant disposition made many in the GAC petition Tinubu to side with their efforts to remove him. Nigerians don't know the correct details of event. Tinubu was not looking to remove Ambode. It is Ambode actions, including letting his wife go too far in power-drunkeness, that put Tinubu in a position where he could not save Ambode because majority of the GAC members had decided he must go. Lagis is probably the only State of Nigeria where the man who is governor does not own governorship. Lagos , in Nigeria, is the best example of institutional checks-and-balance power that does not allow any leader become greater than the geographical space he leads as obtains in the best democracies in the world. Keir Starmer, UK PM, just narrowly escaped the equivalent of an impeachment yesterday because members of the British parliament voted against a formal inquiry into him that could have been the end of his time in office. It is only Lagos that has that kind of political structure whereby no single individual is bigger than the interest of the State. Regardless of what our ignorant neighbours from the SE claim, with their talk Jagaban is "holding Lagos captive", Tinubu would not have enjoyed the success, loyalty and support he has today in Lagos had he not earned it being a leader who humbly pleased the majority in Lagos from leaders to followers and all direct stakeholders of the State. |
yinkus6750:Dude just wants visibility. He should not overdo it though |
ogaemma:I don't care what State you are from. The central and most important message is for you to mind your own business. Una oversabi too much and has always gotten you lot into trouble in every corner of the universe you find yourselves in. You are only hating on Hamzat because you believe he is Tinubu's anointed choice and not because you are even remotely interested in the good Governance of Lagos. Imagine the idiocy of calling Hamzat a "political child". If political mobilisation efficacy is what Lagos leadership is about then Obasa, Obanikoro and even MC Oluomo etal would have been Governor ahead of Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo Olu. Abeg mind your bizo bro. Una no Sabi at all but must chook mouth always |
helinues:Yeah you have it rough but that's because your style of writing is popular as it is influencer-like. Meaning it appeals to the good, bad and even outright nauseating online in the social media age we now live in. I don't take prisoners so not too many can dare troll me. Dem go collect wotowoto. It is only spam bot thingy that has not allowed me reduce many of these annoying jokers to tears. |
helinues:Might just take your advice. Never blocked anyone before but there is a first time for everything and non deserve it more than that character. |
Kemetian:They don't know much TBH. Just a bunch of ignorant and ireedemable haters. You will never find a single one of them give credit where due or expressing happiness over progressive developments in Nigeria. They are some of the folks who always makes me wonder who Nigeria offended to have so many enemies-within carrying our passport. |
floss:Don't just make claims. Present precise figures and stats. That's how progressive folks, genuinely interested in socio-economic development of their nation, would do things. |
Kemetian:He is just a sad individual. Always tragic to see human beings who have turned their own minds into a prison they can never escape and must endure daily because of unrequited hatred and bitter envy they have for others who have no time for them. |
esnbrutality:You see you are shameless and totally damaged by hatred for others? You talked of Airport. You scream partiality towards MMIA. When shown the Abuja Airport, a major hub of international flights, has the facility MMIA has that is the subject of the video this thread is about you change mouth to say "TINUBU is stealing federal money to do in ONLY LAGOS". It is now about Lagos and no longer airports as you first claimed? Unobjective hatred of others will do that. I.e make a grown man humiliate himself with illogical and senseless talk |
esnbrutality:TBH, I have sworn never to respond to your kind because you are particularly repulsive, per unrequited hatred of Yoruba, but I will make an exception here so you do not get away with misinformation. The traveller who shot the video was grateful for e-gates. Is same e-gates absent in Abuja that also has major international flights traffic like MMIA? You people should fear God and Karma even if you have no regard for your fellow man. All these lies of "empowering Lagos/SW and depriving SE/rest of Nigeria" you people peddle is wicked and ungodly. Nothing good can come towards those hating others for no valid reason.

Lol. Jokers now want us to throw away the best interior Minister ever in Tunji-Ojo (APC) for the monumental failure and cartel boss Aregbesola of ADC? God can never allow such misfortune happen to Nigeria |
Truths9ja:Yeah. Not sure of Yayi and doubtful of his credentials but he is Governor in waiting. Personally, I am hoping he will be a man of vision and listener because so many have developmental ideas for Ogun State to push before him. Being an enabling leader can sometimes be more important than being a talented leader. Especially if a Governor in charge of a State with huge potentials like Ogun. |
7upnigeria:Well-said. Nigerians are wonderful people. We only need to get it right at home, through sincere and reformational politics, and we will take our rightful place as the giant of Africa. |
Folks should let this slide. Ruto is clearly a witty and mischievous chap. Yet, Kenyans love Nigerians and vice versa. There is no African, minus North Africans who are quite racist and feel superior because of their pale skin, that does not low-key respect Nigerians despite how we have not made the best of our nation of origin. Talk crap about the nation but the aura of Nigerians, wherever you meet them face to face, is intoxicating. |
Parachoko:Exactly. The model is too sophisticated for others to understand and is the reason since 1999, Governor after Governor, Lagos keeps moving forward unlike many States where it is one step forward and 5 backwards. Eg Kwara, Ogun, Osun etal. |
ogaemma:Lol. Focus on Anambra or Imo politics. You aren't sophisticated enough to understand SW dorime. |
press9jatv:Oga, who is Ajose? These things are not about mouth and shalaye alone. |
pdppower:I wonder OOO. |
BigYash:MrsAyomide, also the OP who brought this here, is being sarcastic. How can you not get that? |
IMEI:What are you calling Seun for? This is from Twitter and emanates from the account of a Yoruba female. If this is inaccurate then the charge of misinformation is on her and not Seun or Nairaland.
|
ERockson:Can never happen in Yoruba land. |
budaatum:Kudos and well-done. We should get misguided self-haters like Rufai Oseni to stick a microphone under the nose of Kwankwaso and Atiku etal and harass them, as he loves doing to Tinubu supporters, to demand if this is right and what their precise position is regarding this horror. |

He better nor go waste his money. Some of us support AMBODE comeback. What can we do? Nah to support Hamzat
